[SET COMMENTS]
Thanks to its ability Prankster and a colorful support movepool, Klefki is able to perform the role of an essential support Pokemon for offensively-oriented Steel-type teams. Dual screen support in Reflect and Light Screen combined with Prankster ability, lets Klefki support offensive teammates like Aegislash, Jirachi, and Duraludon against threats like Dracovish, Dragapult, and Keldeo. Spikes allows Klefki to quickly rack up residual damage for its teammates and it should be used against passive Pokemon like Toxapex, and Shuckle. Foul Play ensures that Klefki is not entirely Taunt-bait and can punish set up sweepers like Mimikyu, Scolipede, and Azumarill. Thunder Wave can be used over Foul Play to cripple Pokemon like Dracovish, Cobalion, and Salazzle. Klefki should be used early-game to setup dual screen quickly to support its offensive teammates in setting up easier and making revenge killing hard for the opposing team. Maximum HP investment and maximum Defense investment along with a Bold nature makes Klefki as bulky as possible allowing it to provide support effectively. Light Clay is used as an item to increase the number of turns Reflect and Light Screen stay on the field.

Offensive teammates pair well with Klefki that can take advantage of its supportive role. Corviknight can cover Ground-type Pokemon like Excadrill and Mamoswine for Klefki and can act as a good win condition with its Bulk Up set. Bisharp, Excadrill, Aegislash, Cobalion, and Durant break down shared checks and counters like Toxapex, Amoongus, and Hippowdon while benefiting from Klefki's support. Bisharp can take advantage of its Spikes support and dissuade opposing team from freely using Defog. Excadrill can provide Stealth Rock support as well while taking care of Pokemon like Rotom-H that can use Klefki as a setup fodder. Aegislash on the other hand can prevent Rapid Spin users like Avalugg and Tentacruel from clearing the hazards away and Cobalion can beat threatening Dark- and Normal-type Pokemon like Urshifu-S and Diggersby. Wallbreakers like Choice Specs Duraludon, Aegislash and Jirachi benefit from Klefki's support, allowing them more chances to punch holes against opposing teams.
