Kommo-o @ Kommonium Z
Ability: Soundproof
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Naive Nature
- Clanging Scales
- Flamethrower
- Drain Punch
- Taunt

Kommo-o has been on the rise since USUM's release due to its exclusive Z-Move Clangorous Soulblaze allowing it to omniboost and become a fearsome sweeper that helps against troublesome matchups like Normal, Dark, and Steel. Thanks to Flamethrower and Drain Punch, it can break the common Steel-type core of Heatran + Celesteela + Ferrothorn, which Dragon has a hard time dealing with. It can take on bulky Pokemon like Porygon2 and Chansey, Leech Seed users like Celesteela and Ferrothorn, and Haze users like Toxapex and Mantine thanks to Taunt cutting off their recovery. Taunt from Kommo-o also prevents Stealth Rock being set by the likes of Swampert and Empoleon and can stop slow Defog users like Zapdos and Rotom-W from removing Stealth Rock. Partners like Garchomp and Kyurem-B are nice to pair with Kommo-o because Garchomp can set Stealth Rock to help chip Pokemon, while Kyurem-B can help out in the Water and Flying matchups by pressuring defensive cores of these teams.

Taunt from Kommo-o also helps from Stealth Rock being put down by the likes of Swampert and Empoleon and can stop slow Defog users from getting Stealth Rock up like Zapdos and Rotom-W. However, Kommo-o struggles against Fairy- and Flying-types so partners like Dragagle and Kyurem-B are important to have since Dragagle can take on Mega Diancie with Sludge Wave while Kyurem-B can take on Dragonite and Thundurus-T.

qc: nice job writing this! would like you to take out mentions of dragalge, it does definetly help kommo-o in the fairy matchup but is a rather niche pokemon. gonna nitpick the team options section. maybe teammates such as garchomp, that setup stealth rock making opposing pokemon easier to break would be a better example. focus on how kyurem-b alongside kommo-o can really pressure the defensive cores of water and flying teams.

Kommo-o has been on the rise since USM USUM's release due to its exclusive Z-move Kommonium Z Z-Move Clangorous Soulblaze allowing it to omniboost to and become a fearsome sweeper that help helps against troublesome matchups like Normal, Dark,(AC) and Steel. Thanks to Flamethrower and Drain Punch,(AC) it can break the common Steel-type core Steel-types that Dragon has a hard time to deal dealing with like Celesteela, Ferrothorn,(AC) and Heatran.(you didn't list a core of Steel-types; you simply listed some Steel-types. if these three Steel-types are the core in question, then you can rephrase this to say "Thanks to ..., it can break the common Steel-type core of Heatran + Celesteela + Ferrothorn, which Dragon has a hard time dealing with.") It can take on bulky Pokemon like Porygon2 and Chansey, Leech Seed users like Celesteela and Ferrothorn,(AC) and Haze users like Toxapex and Mantine thanks to Taunt cutting off their recovery. Taunt from Kommo-o also helps from prevents Stealth Rock from being put down set by the likes of Swampert and Empoleon and can stop slow Defog users like Zapdos and Rotom-W from getting removing Stealth Rock up like Zapdos and Rotom-W. Partners like Garchomp and Kyurem-B are nice to pair with Kommo-o because Garchomp can set Stealth Rock to help chip Pokemon,(AC) while Kyurem-B can help out in the Water- and the Flying-type matchup because of being able to pressure Water and Flying matchups by pressuring (was a bit verbose here) defensive cores of these teams.

gp 1/1 once done
