[SET COMMENTS]
Because of its very high natural bulk, SubRoost Kyurem excels at taking advantage of passive Pokemon such as Toxapex, Blissey, and Tangrowth by setting up Substitutes so that their status moves can't affect it. This pairs nicely with Pressure and Roost, allowing it to effectively PP stall these targets. Freeze-Dry has high PP and super effectively hit Water-types like Slowbro, Slowking, Toxapex, and Tapu Fini that'd resist its other Ice-type STAB options, and Earth Power covers the Steel- and Fire-types that resist Freeze-Dry like Heatran, Mega Mawile, and Victini. 56 HP EVs give Kyurem 101 HP Substitutes so that Seismic Toss from Blissey and Chansey can't break it in one hit.

Fast pivots with U-turn like Mega Lopunny, Landorus-T, Jirachi, and Greninja make excellent teammates to Kyurem by baiting in bulky passive Pokemon such as Toxapex, Slowbro, Tangrowth, and Chansey and giving Kyurem a free switch to set up Substitute. If Kyurem can't safely get a Substitute up, it is fairly vulnerable to Pokemon like Clefable, Mega Scizor, and Corviknight that can eat hits from it and break its Substitute. As a result, Kyurem greatly appreciates having teammates like Magnezone and Heatran that can deal with the Steel- and Fairy-types that can threaten it. Magnezone is notable due to its ability to completely trap and remove Steel-types like Mega Scizor, Corviknight, and Ferrothorn with Magnet Pull. Because of Kyurem's lack of immediate power, it's also very much setup fodder for Pokemon like Calm Mind Mega Latias, Clefable, and Reuniclus, so Pokemon that can stop these setup sweepers make for good teammates. Crippling them with a status move like Toxic or Thunder Wave works well, so Pokemon like Blissey, Clefable, Ferrothorn, and Toxapex can be useful, Toxapex can also remove boosts from Reuniclus and Clefable, which are not crippled by status too heavily. If you choose to not run Heavy-Duty Boots, hazards are also a massive threat to Kyurem, so it should always be paired with a reliable Defogger like Zapdos, Corviknight, or Choice Scarf Landorus-T.

[SET COMMENTS]

Choice Specs Kyurem is a powerful wallbreaker that focuses more on doing big damage to the opposing team's defensive core. Freeze-Dry lets it super effectively hit Water-types, whereas Ice Beam can 2HKO Pokemon that Freeze-Dry can't like Clefable, Ferrothorn, and Corviknight. The last slot can be either Earth Power or Hidden Power Fire, both of which hit Steel-types. Earth Power is better for Heatran, but Hidden Power Fire is better against Ferrothorn and Mega Scizor, at the cost of being less reliable against other Steel-types. Focus Blast is an option to hit Steel-types as well as Blissey, but Blissey does not get 2HKOed unless Kyurem is running a Modest nature, and it is less reliable than the other options.

Because of Kyurem being able to fire off such powerful attacks, it really likes having faster teammates that can clean up late-game. Mega Lopunny, Greninja, and Jirachi can all clean up games quite easily once Kyurem has punched a few holes in the opposing team's defensive core. Due to its subpar Speed stat, notable threats such as Victini, Mega Medicham, Garchomp, Mega Lopunny' and Tapu Koko naturally outspeed and OHKO or deal a lot of damage to Kyurem. The Specially bulky pivots that can eat multiple hits from Kyurem like Blissey, specially defensive Corviknight, and Mega Scizor can pose a big threat to it in combination with faster pivots like the aforementioned Victini, Mega Lopunny, and Tapu Koko. Because of this, you want to pair Kyurem up with Pokemon that can punish opposing pivots. Tyranitar and Weavile can Pursuit trap some of the more physically frail answers to Kyurem, like Blissey, Corviknight, and Reuniclus. Furthermore, offensive entry hazard setters such as Landorus-T, Garchomp, and Heatran can help weaken Pokemon switching in against Kyurem and allow it to achieve 2HKOs that it couldn't before. Kyurem itself is very weak to hazards, so you should always run it with a good Defogger like Corviknight or Zapdos. Tapu Fini is also an option, but it should only be paired with Kyurem if it elects not to run any Dragon-type attacks.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]

Other Options
=============

Kyurem can run Dragon Dance + Icicle Spear on SubRoost sets, but this makes it play much differently than its standard set does, as it needs more support and loses to a lot of bulky Water- and Steel-types. A Modest nature can augment Kyurem's power on the Choice Specs set, but this does make Kyurem's already mediocre Speed stat even worse.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Entry Hazards**: Without Heavy-Duty Boots, Kyurem easily gets chipped down by hazards during games. With sets that run Roost, this is somewhat more manageable, but Choice Specs variants have to be mindful of their HP throughout a game.

**Steel-types**: Despite SubRoost Kyurem running Earth Power to hit Steel-types, those that are not weak to Ground such as Mega Scizor, Corviknight, and Ferrothorn can pose a threat to it as none of them get 2HKOed by the set Kyurem. However, Choice Specs sets that run Hidden Power Fire hit all of the above. Mega Scizor especially poses a problem due to its U-turn always breaking Kyurem's Substitute while allowing it to switch into something that can force it out, in addition to Bullet Punch always KOing after Stealth Rock damage.

**Faster Pokemon**: Due to Kyurem's mediocre Speed tier, it is often outsped by many Pokemon such as Mega Lopunny, Garchomp, and Mega Medicham, which can force it out with super effective coverage if Kyurem is not behind a Substitute.

It runs Freeze Dry due to its high PP and ability to Super Effectively hit Water Types that'd resist its other ice STAB options, and Earth Power for Steel and Fire types that resist Freeze Dry like?. Roost gives you Kyurem recovery so that you can sub up multiple times and PP stall Pokemon like Heatran and Ferrothorn consistently. The EVs are to reach 101 hp Substitutes so that Seismic Toss doesnt break it in one hit with max speed to allow you to be as fast as possible with the rest in Special Attack. Filler

Paragraph 2:
Fast Pivots with U-Turn like Mega-Lopunny, Cinderace and Greninja Make excellent Teammates to Kyurem because of them baiting in bulky passive Pokémon and then U-turn out into Kyurem so it can Sub up without being punished by a Toxic or Scald burn and then forcing them out. If Kyurem can't safely get a Substitute up its somewhat vulnerable, stuff like utility Clefable, Mega-Scizor and Corviknight that eat hits from it and break its sub means that it gets forced out, due to its lack of immidiate power its also very much set up fodder for stuff like Cm Mega Latias, Clefable and Reuniclus. if you chose to not run Heavy-Duty Bboots hazards are also a massive threat to it, because you can't switch in without losing alot of hp in the process. Change the set to this, and reflect this change in the first paragraph below. In addition, mention Focus Blast

[SET COMMENTS]
Paragraph 1:
Specs Kyurem is a set more focused on wallbreaking, using Choice Specs to get alot of immidiate power and allowing you to threaten the opposing team. Freeze Dry allows it to hit water types super effectively meanwhile running Earth Power lets it hit Steel and Fire types that resist its ice moves, Ice Beam is strong and spammable STAB move. The last slot is very flexible, Focus Blast can 2HKO some of its better switch-ins like Blissey and Mega-Scizor if it hits, If you chose to run Draco Meteor you get access to a super strong STAB move that does alot of damage meanwhile Roost can help bring your hp back, being somewhat of a bandaid to its issue of switching in on Hazards. The EV spread has max Speed and Special attack with a Modest nature to let you hit as hard as possible. Filler

Paragraph 2:

Due to it not being able to reliably Roost and its weakness to hazards, Choice Specs Kyurem can easily get worn down by chip damage as a match goes on. This means that it really enjoys having teammates that can let it switch in safely with pivoting moves, Especially those that run Slow U-turn or Teleport like Corviknight, Slowbro and Blissey allow Kyurem to get switched in without taking a hit. Due to how slow Kyurem is its easily threatend by faster Pokémon with super effective coverage, Like Mega-lopunny, Z Garchomp, Cinderace or Jirachi you really want a strong defensive core to allow you to handle the offensive mons that pressure Kyurem. Because of how weak it is to hazards you also want a strong defogger on your team, Corviknight, Zapdos and Choice Scarf Landorus-T make for very good defoggers to run with Kyurem due to them also getting access to pivoting moves.

Mega Scizor especially poses a problem to it due to its uturn Always Breaking Kyurems sub, allowing it to switch into something that can force it out.

**Faster Pokémon**: Due to its somewhat mediocre speed stat, Kyurem can easily get outsped by alot of speed control in the metagame. Its far from frail so it doesnt get ohkod by neutral moves but Pokémon that tend to run Super Effective coverage for it like Mega Lopunny, Cinderace, Garchomp and Mega Medicham can force it out if its not behind a Sub.

Kyurem itself is very weak to hazards, so you should always run it with a good defogger like Corviknight or Zapdos, Tapu Fini is also an option but you should only use it on sets that neglect to run Dragon STAB.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Entry Hazards**: Having a mention about these would be nice, as they are detrimental to Kyurem.

**Steel Types**: Despite it running Earth Power to hit Steel-types, some of them that are not Ground-weak to ground like Mega Scizor, Corviknight and Ferrothorn can pose a threat to it as none of them get 2HKOd by any of its moves on subroost sets S&L mentioned about Hidden Power Fire hitting all of the above. Should mention that too. Mega Scizor especially poses a problem to it due to its U-turn always breaking Kyurems sub, allowing it to switch into something that can force it out. I would like to see a mention about Bullet Punch, which is why Mega Scizor can counter Kyurem

**Faster Pokemon**: Due to its somewhat mediocre Speed, Kyurem can easily get outsped by alot of speed control in the metagame. Its far from frail so it doesnt get OHKOd by neutral moves but Pokemon that tend to run super effective coverage for it like Mega Lopunny, Garchomp, and Mega Medicham can force it out if its not behind a Sub.
Due to Kyurem's mediocre Speed tier, it is often outsped by many Pokemon such as Mega Lopunny, Garchomp, and Mega Medicham, which can force it out with super effective coverage if Substitute is not active.

QC 2/2 once implemented! :blobthumbsup:

There were many grammar-related issues within this analysis. For future reference moves like Substitute needs to be fully written out. I corrected all of the one's I noticed but please be careful in the future and review it carefully! :) Furthermore, when listing a Pokémon’s type it is: Fire-type, and not Fire Type or Fire-Type. Finally, Freeze-Dry requires a hyphen too.

Because of its very high natural HP and Ddefensive stats, SubRoost Kyurem is a set that excells at taking advantage of passive Pokemon such as Toxapex, Blissey, and Tangrowth by setting up Substitutes so that their status moves can't affect it, t. This pairs up nicely in addition with its ability pressure which makes moves targetting it waste more PP then usual. It runswith Pressure and Roost, allowing it to effectively PP stall these targets. Freeze-Dry due to ithas high PP and ability to super effectively hits Water-types like Slowbro, Slowking, Toxapex, and Tapu Fini that'd resist its other Ice-type STAB options, and Earth Power forcovers the Steel-(AH) and Fire-types that resist Freeze-Dry like Heatran, Magearna, (AC) and Victini. Roost gives Kyurem recovery so that it can use Substitute multiple times and PP stall Pokemon like Heatran and Ferrothorn consistently. The EVs are to reach 101 hp56 HP EVs give Kyurem 101 HP Substitutes so that Seismic Toss from Blissey and Chansey doesncan't break it in one hit.

Fast PFast pivots with U-turn like Mega Lopunny, Landorus-T, Jirachi, and Greninja Mmake excellent teammates to Kyurem because of themy baiting in bulky passive Pokemon such as Toxapex, Slowbro, Tangrowth, and Chansey and then U-turning out into Kyurem so it can use Substitute without being punished by a Toxic or Scald burn on the switchgiving Kyurem a free switch to set up Substitute. If Kyurem can't safely get a Substitute up its somewhat, it is fairly vulnerable, (RC) to Pokemon like Clefable, Mega Scizor, (AC) and Corviknight that can eat hits from it and break its sub means that it gets forced out, because of this it really appriSubstitute. As a result, Kyurem greatly appreciates having teammates that can deal with the Steel and Fairy-types that can threaten it,like Magnezone and Heatran make for stellar teamates due to their ability to threaten the bulky Steelthat can deal with the Steel-(AH) and Fairy-types that pose an issue to Kyurem,can threaten it. Magnezone is noteable due to its ability to completely trap and remove alot of Steel-types like Mega Scizor, Corviknight, and Ferrothorn with Magnet Pull. Because of Kyurem'(apo)s lack of immiediate power, (AC) it is also very much set(remove space)up fodder for Pokemon like Calm Mind Mega Latias, Clefable, (AC and Reuniclus, because of this Pokemon that can stop these setup sweepers make for good teammates with Kyurem,. (full stop) Crippling them with a status move like Toxic or Thunder Wave works well, (AC) so Pokemon that usually run these status moves like Blissey, Clefable, Ferrothorn or, (AC) and Toxapex can do that, whereas the latter canbe useful. Toxapex can also remove boosts from Reuniclus and Clefable, which are not crippled by status too heavily. If you choose to not run Heavy-Duty Boots, (AC) hazards are also a massive threat to it-- because you can't switch in without losing alot of hp in the process, Because of this youKyurem, so it should always pair Kyurembe paired with a reliable dDefogger like Zapdos, Corviknight, (AC) or Choice Scarf Landorus-T.

Choice Specs Kyurem is a powerful wallbreaker that focuses more on doing big damage to the opposing team'(apo)s defensive core. Freeze-Dry lets it super effectively hit Water-types, Wwhereas Ice Beam can be used when you need to do more damage thean Freeze-Dry can do, catching 2HKOs on, 2HKOing Pokemon that live Freeze-Dry can't like Clefable, Ferrothorn, and Corviknight. The last slot can be either Earth Power or Hidden Power Fire, both of which hit Steel-types,. (full stop) Earth Power is better for Heatran, but Hidden Power Fire is better against Ferrothorn and Mega Scizor, at the cost of being less reliable against other Steel-types. You could also run Focus Blast is an option to hit Steel-types as(add space)well as Blissey, but Blissey does not get 2HKO'ed unless you're Kyurem is running a Modest nature and its generally less reliable thean the other 2 options, so its not recommended.

Because of Kyurem being able to fire off such powerful attacks, (AC) it really likes having faster teammates that can clean up late game because of the damage its dealt prior,-(AH)game. Mega Lopunny, Greninja, and Jirachi can all clean up games quite easily once Kyurem has punched a few holes in the opposing team's defensive core. dDue to its subpar Speed stat theres alot of Pokemon that naturally outspeed and OHKO or deal alot of damage to it, some of the noteable examples are, notable threats such as Victini, Mega Medicham, Garchomp, Mega Lopunny, and Tapu Koko naturally outspeed and OHKO or deal a lot of damage to Kyurem. The specially bulky pivots that can eat multiple hits from it like Blissey, Sspecially defensive Corviknight, (AC and Mega Scizor can pose a big threat to it in combination with these faster pivots. Because of this, (AC) you want to pair Kyurem up with Pokemon that can punish pivoting pokemonopposing pivots. Tyranitar and Weavile can Pursuit trap some of the more physically frail answers to Kyurem, Llike Blissey, Corviknight, Aand Reuniclus meanwhile hazards can punish. Furthermore, offensive entry hazard setters such as Landorus-T, Garchomp, and Heatran can help weaken Pokemon switching in against Kyurem or allow it to catch a 2HKO on some pokemon it didnt 2hko before. Because of this you should always bring a Stealth Rocks Pokemon with Kyurem. Landorus-T, Garchomp, and Heatran are some pretty good offensive Stealth Rock setters that pair well with Kyuremachieve 2HKOs that it couldn't before. Kyurem itself is very weak to hazards, so you should always run it with a good dDefogger like Corviknight or Zapdos,. Tapu Fini is also an option but you, (AC) but it should only use it on sets that neglecbe paired with Kyurem if it elects not to run any Dragon STAB-type attacks.
