Ground
========

Landorus is the best special attacker on Ground teams because of its fantastic movepool, good offensive stats, and powerful combination of Life Orb and Sheer Force. Thanks to its part-Flying typing, Landorus is one of the very few Ground-immune Pokemon on Ground teams, allowing it to better check Pokemon like Garchomp and Excadrill. Its resistance to Fighting allows Landorus to situationally switch into Choice Specs Keldeo's Secret Sword and Choice Scarf Terrakion's Close Combat. Landorus's wide offensive movepool gives it unpredictability, and there are very few Pokemon that can counter all of its sets. Landorus suffers from four-moveslot syndrome, often wanting to use support moves like Gravity but having to drop an attack. Landorus's Speed tier allows it to outpace base 100 Speed foes like Volcarona and Choice Band Victini, although Landorus's Speed and bulk still leave it vulnerable to revenge killing from faster threats like Deoxys-S and Thundurus.

[SET COMMENTS]
Earth Power hits Fire-, Poison-, Rock-, and Steel-types such as Victini, Nidoking, Terrakion, and Jirachi. Focus Blast targets Normal- and Dark-types like Porygon2 and Hydreigon; it is also Landorus's primary move for hitting most Ground-immune foes like Rotom-W, Skarmory, Mandibuzz, and Staraptor. Knock Off cripples Eviolite users such as Chansey and Porygon2 and deals more damage to certain Ground-immune foes like Latios, Latias, Bronzong, and Gengar. Gravity lets Landorus and its teammates freely spam their Ground-type attacks, albeit for a limited number of turns. Sheer Force nullifies Life Orb recoil and increases the damage output of Earth Power and Focus Blast. However, Landorus will still take Life Orb recoil when using Knock Off.

Landorus helps Ground teams by using its powerful special attacks to wear down physical walls, most notably Skarmory and Rotom-W. It can also set Gravity, allowing its teammates to spam their Ground-type attacks. Mega Garchomp can use Stone Edge to check Flying-types such as Mega Charizard Y, Gyarados, and Tornadus-T and has access to Fire Blast, allowing it to deal with Steel-types like Mega Scizor. Excadrill in sand can offensively check some of the faster threats to Landorus like Weavile, Thundurus, and Expert Belt Heliolisk. Mamoswine revenge kills weakened threats with Ice Shard and deals with Dragon-types like Latios and Latias and Flying-types such as Gliscor, Tornadus-T, and Thundurus. Hippowdon works as a physically defensive wall that can tank moves from attackers like Hawlucha and Mega Gallade and passively damage foes by setting sand and Stealth Rock. Gastrodon is a Water-immune, specially defensive wall with reliable recovery that proves very useful against Pokemon such as Keldeo and Rotom-W. Seismitoad is a more offensive Water-immune teammate that can check Gastrodon and Belly Drum Azumarill. Nidoking threatens slower Flying- and Steel-types like Dragonite, Zapdos, Ferrothorn, and Mega Scizor. With Toxic Spikes, it can passively chip foes and help Landorus against some of its usual checks like Gastrodon.

Ground
--------
Landorus has plenty of options that it can use in the third and fourth move slots, but it prefers the combination of Knock Off and Gravity to provide the most utility to its teammates. Rock Slide hits Flying-types with high Special Defense like Mega Charizard Y, Tornadus-T, and Zapdos. Hidden Power Ice targets Flying-, Ground-, and Dragon-types like Gliscor, opposing Landorus, Garchomp, and Dragonite. U-turn deals more damage to Celebi and Mega Latias while also allowing Landorus to provide pivot support to its teammates. A combination of Rock Polish and Psychic can be used to decimate Fighting teams. Psychic also covers Fighting- and Poison-types like Heracross, Hawlucha, Mega Venusaur, and Gengar.

Checks and Counters

Ground
--------
**Mega Latias**: Calm Mind Mega Latias with Ice Beam can switch into all of Landorus's moves and OHKO it.

**Revenge Killers**: Faster threats such as Thundurus, Weavile, Deoxys-S, and Choice Specs Latios can outspeed and OHKO Landorus with their STAB moves or coverage.

**Special Walls**: Special walls like Tornadus-T, Gastrodon, Rotom-W, and Chansey can all survive at least two hits from Landorus outside of Gravity and retaliate in some way. However, the latter three Pokemon hate losing their items to Knock Off, as they cannot check Landorus to the same extent without them.

**Status**: Will-O-Wisp users like Mew and bulky Mega Gardevoir can burn Landorus, inhibiting its ability to use Knock Off to threaten Ground-immune Psychic-types such as Latios and Latias. Toxic poison will passively chip Landorus over time and may allow certain specially defensive walls like Gastrodon and Chansey to outlast it.

Overview:
- After the line about its good offensive movepool, definitely mention that Landorus suffers from some degree of four-moveslot syndrome because it often only gets to run 3 of those moves alongside Gravity or Rock Polish.
- I think Landorus' speed tier should be talked about in a more positive light since it outspeeds all the base 100s and slower Pokemon. You can say something like "That being said, Landorus' speed and bulk still leave it prone to being revenge killed by big threats to Ground teams like Keldeo and Thundurus" after.

Set comments:
"Fully investing in Speed and Special Attack with a Naive nature allows Landorus to hit as hard as possible while reaching a decent Speed tier, outpacing Pokemon such as Choice Band Victini and Mega Charizard Y."
- Use a different example since this particular set doesn't have anything to touch Charizard

- Can mention Nidoking and Garchomp in the same sentence as teammates that put greater pressure on Flying and Steel teams alongside Landorus
- Gliscor as a stallbreaking teammate? I'll leave this one up to you.

C&C:
- In the revenge killers section, specifically mention that those 3 Pokemon KO Landorus with Hidden Power Ice since it might not be too apparent to some readers.

Earth Power is Landorus's most spammable Ground move that hits Fire-, Poison-, Rock-, and Steel-types like Victini, Nidoking, Terrakion, and Jirachi. Focus Blast targets Normal- and Dark-types for more damage like Porygon2 and Hydreigon. It's also Landorus's primary moves for hitting most Ground-immune foes like Rotom-W, Skarmory, Mandibuzz, and Staraptor. Knock Off cripples Eviolite users such as Chansey and Porygon2, and deals more damage to Ground-immune Psychic-types like Latios, Latias, and Bronzong[squeeze Gengar in here.]. Gravity lets Landorus provide support to its teammates by allowing them to spam their STAB moves freely against Ground-immune foes like Rotom-W, Skarmory, and Bronzong, albeit briefly. [well they are spamming Ground-type moves to be specific. Ground-immune is also being used a lot so its a pet peeve. you also mentioned those examples as ground-immune foes earlier] Landorus utilizes Life Orb to deal more damage while still being able to switch moves. Sheer Force nullifies the recoil of Life Orb and increases the damage output of Landorus's attacks with secondary effects such as Earth Power and Focus Blast. It's worth mentioning that Landorus will still take Life Orb recoil when using attacks without secondary effects like as Knock Off. Fully investing in Speed and Special Attack with a Naive nature allows Landorus to hit as hard as possible while reaching a decent Speed tier, outpacing Pokemon such as Choice Band Victini and Choice Specs Hydreigon.

Landorus helps its teammates by using its special wallbreaking to wear down physical walls, most notably Skarmory and Rotom-W. It may also use Knock Off to cripple Eviolite users like Chansey and set Gravity, allowing its teammates to freely spam their Ground STAB moves. Gastrodon is a specially defensive wall with reliable recovery that is immune to Water, which proves very useful against Water-type Pokemon such as Keldeo and Rotom-W. Seismitoad is a more offensive Water-immune teammate that can check specially defensive Gastrodon and Belly Drum Azumarill. Hippowdon works as a physically defensive wall that can tank moves from attackers like Hawlucha and Mega Gallade and passively damage foes by setting sand and Stealth Rock. Mega Garchomp can use Stone Edge to check Flying-types such as Mega Charizard Y, Gyarados, and Tornadus-T and has access to Fire Blast, allowing it to deal with Steel-types like offensive Mega Scizor. Nidoking uses its reliable BoltBeam coverage to threaten Flying-types like Skarmory, Dragonite, and Thundurus and Steel-types like Ferrothorn and Mega Scizor. Additionally, it can passively chip foes with Toxic Spikes, helping Landorus against some of its usual checks like specially defensive Gastrodon. Excadrill in sand can offensively check some of the faster threats to Landorus like Weavile, Thundurus, and Expert Belt Heliolisk. Mamoswine can check Cloyster, revenge kill weakened threats with its Choice Band-boosted Ice Shard, and deal with bulky Flying-types such as Gliscor, Tornadus-T, and Zapdos.

**Ice-types** Weavile can outspeed and OHKO Landorus with Icicle Crash and Choice Band Mamoswine can OHKO with Ice Shard. [say something like "Ice-types like x,y,z can all OHKO Landorus with their stab ice attacks. Weavile, pilo, etc can revenge kill/ohko lando with ice shard as 2nd sentence. Or some other variation to your liking]

**Water-types**: Faster Water-type Pokemon like Keldeo and Mega Sharpedo can outspeed and OHKO Landorus with their STAB moves or coverage.

**Revenge Killers**: Revenge killers such as Thundurus, Expert Belt Heliolisk, and Choice Scarf Magnezone can outspeed and OHKO Landorus with Hidden Power Ice. [any way to diverse these examples so they aren't all electric-types. Maybe something like Azumarill (prob just falls in a sentence for priority under this section with band dragonite) but yeah expand/color this section up a little]

**Specially Defensive Walls**: Specially defensive walls like Gastrodon, Tornadus-T, Rotom-W, and Zapdos can all live at least two hits from Landorus outside of Gravity and retaliate in some way. [rotom-wash yeah? but zapdos is rubbing me a bit wrong. add chansey to this list and mention it doesn't like knock off]

[I feel like Bulky Pokemon fits nicely to place Pokemon Pokemon like Porygon2, Mega Latias that just recovers instantly and/or KOs this with Ice Beam, etc]

Rock Slide hits Flying-types with high Special Defense like Mega Charizard Y, Tornadus-T, and Zapdos. Hidden Power Ice targets Flying-, Ground-, and Dragon-types like Gliscor, opposing Landorus,(AC) Garchomp, and Dragonite,(RC) and opposing Landorus.(Reordering cuz Landorus is not a Dragon-type) U-turn deals more damage to Celebi and Mega Latias while also allowing Landorus to provide pivoting pivot support to its teammates. A combination of Rock Polish and Psychic can be used to decimate Fighting teams. Psychic also covers Fighting- and Poison-types that are neutral or immune to Ground like Breloom, Heracross, Hawlucha, Mega Venusaur, Crobat, and Gengar.(Try to keep lists to about 3-4, 6 is a lot to digest)

Checks and Counters

Ground
--------
**Mega Latias**: Calm Mind Ice Beam Mega Latias with Ice Beam can switch into all of Landorus's moves and OHKO it.

**Ice-types**: Faster Ice-types like Weavile OHKO Landorus with Icicle Crash. Choice Band Mamoswine OHKOes Landorus with Ice Shard,(AC) and while Cloyster can use Ice Shard to revenge kill after prior chip damage.

**Water-types**: Faster Water-type Pokemon like Keldeo and Mega Sharpedo OHKO Landorus with their STAB moves or coverage.

**Revenge Killers**: Revenge killers such as Thundurus, Choice Scarf Magnezone, Deoxys-S, and Choice Specs Latios can outspeed and OHKO Landorus with their STAB moves or coverage.

**Specially Defensive Walls**: Specially defensive walls like Tornadus-T, Gastrodon, Rotom-W, and Chansey can all live survive at least two hits from Landorus outside of Gravity and retaliate in some way. However,(AC) the(lowercase) latter three Pokemon hate losing their items to Knock Off, as they cannot check Landorus to the same extent without them.

**Status Conditions**: Will-O-Wisp users like Mew and bulky Mega Gardevoir can burn Landorus, inhibiting its ability to use Knock Off to threaten Ground-immune Psychic-types such as Latios and Latias. Toxic poison will passively chip Landorus over time and may allow certain specially defensive walls like Gastrodon and Chansey to outlive outlast it.

[OVERVIEW]

Ground
========

Its resistance to Fighting allows Landorus to situationally come in on Secret Sword from Choice Specs Keldeo and Close Combat from Choice Scarf Terrakion switch into Choice Specs Keldeo's Secret Sword and Choice Scarf Terrakion's Close Combat. Landorus's wide offensive movepool lets it remain unpredictable when attacking gives it unpredictability, and there are very few Pokemon that can counter all of its sets.

Gravity lets Landorus and its teammates freely spam their Ground-type attacks, albeit briefly for a limited number of turns.

Gastrodon is a Water-immune, specially defensive wall with reliable recovery,(RC) which that proves very useful against Pokemon such as Keldeo and Rotom-W.
