Flying
========

Landorus is a fantastic special wallbreaker for Flying teams, as the combination of Sheer Force, a Life Orb, and a wide movepool is extremely powerful and difficult to defensively counteract. Being a Ground-type is already desirable for Flying teams, as the Electric-type immunity is greatly appreciated against Pokemon such as Tapu Koko, Zapdos, and Zeraora. Its Speed tier also narrowly edges out potent threats such as Mega Charizard X, Kyurem-B, and Volcarona. Landorus has a decent amount of bulk for its offensive prowess, so it can take at least one hit, such as Celesteela's Heavy Slam or Mew's Psychic. However, Landorus is susceptible to Water- and Ice-type moves from foes such as Keldeo and Alolan Ninetales. Landorus faces competition from Landorus-T, as that forme better checks potent threats to Flying teams such as Mega Diancie and Tapu Koko when running a Choice Scarf.

Moves
========

Earth Power is Landorus's Ground-type STAB move, which reliably threatens Electric-, Steel-, and Poison-types such as Zeraora, Mega Scizor, and Toxapex. Sludge Wave is solid coverage against Fairy-types such as Clefable and Azumarill. Focus Blast is useful against Dark- and Normal-types such as Hydreigon and Porygon2. It can also hit Steel-types that are immune to Landorus's Earth Power, like Skarmory and Air Balloon Heatran. Landorus can run Stealth Rock to allow teammates such as Gliscor to run other options. Alternatively, Rock Slide helps against opposing Flying-types, which are immune to its Ground-type STAB move, such as Mantine and Zapdos. However, using Rock Slide over Stealth Rock isn't as ideal, since it's harder to fit on teammates such as Mega Aerodactyl and Skarmory, as they need that extra moveslot to fulfill their roles.

Set Details
========

Maximum Speed investment allows Landorus to be as fast as possible, outspeeding threats such as Kyurem-B and Mega Charizard Y. A Timid nature is utilized to boost its Speed to its peak without lowering one of its defensive stats. Alternatively, Landorus can use a Naive nature if it's using Rock Slide to boost its power. Landorus could use a Hasty nature to minimize damage taken from special attacks and, most notably, survive a Hidden Power Ice from Tapu Koko, though it no longer takes Choice Scarf Victini's V-create from full HP. Sheer Force and a Life Orb are powerful when used together, as Sheer Force negates Life Orb recoil to amplify Landorus's damage output.

Usage Tips
========

Landorus can be used as an early-game wallbreaker or sometimes as a lead, since its power and coverage options are very difficult to counteract defensively. Use teammates with pivoting options such as Volt Switch Zapdos and U-turn Tornadus-T to bring in Landorus safely, as this will keep up offensive pressure against the opponent. Take advantage of switches Landorus forces by setting up Stealth Rock against slower, weaker foes. Landorus can also act as a potent revenge killer against weakened foes and slower threats like Nidoking and non-Choice Scarf Victini. While Landorus has decent bulk, it should avoid taking unnecessary damage in order to wallbreak as much as possible. Setting Stealth Rock isn't always necessary, especially against foes such as Swampert and Mew that look to set up Stealth Rock of their own. Watch out for Ice-type coverage from foes such as Tapu Koko and Greninja, as they can OHKO Landorus. It's also ideal to avoid Knock Off users like Deoxys-S and Mega Sableye, as removing Landorus's Life Orb lessens its damage output. Landorus also provides an Electric immunity by virtue of its Ground typing, but it must be careful of coverage such as Hidden Power Ice.

Team Options
========

Zapdos is a solid switch-in to Water-types that threaten Landorus, such as Suicune and Gyarados. Its ability to utilize Defog, provide momentum through Volt Switch, and stall out bulkier foes such as Swampert through Substitute and Toxic can create better opportunities for Landorus to sweep teams. Mantine is a defensive pivot into Ice- and Water-type attacks for Landorus, as the former is a neutrality for Mantine while it completely walls the latter due to Water Absorb. It also has incredible special bulk that it can use to check special attackers such as Blacephalon and Greninja and can also use Defog to remove entry hazards for Flying teams. Mega Charizard Y can threaten Ice-types such as Mamoswine and Cloyster, as well as bulkier Water-types like Gastrodon and Slowbro through the combination of Drought and Solar Beam, for Landorus. In return, Landorus can switch into incoming Electric-type attacks for Mega Charizard Y. Mega Aerodactyl can check Ice-types such as Weavile and Alolan Ninetales for Landorus, and it's also able to Pursuit trap weakened foes such as Choice Scarf Victini and Latios that can threaten Landorus. Additionally, having Landorus take care of Stealth Rock allows Mega Aerodactyl to be an incredible asset against Dragon teams, as it would be able to use both Stone Edge and Pursuit to threaten the biggest threats to Flying teams such as Kyurem-B and Latios. Tornadus-T acts as utility for Landorus, as it removes Stealth Rock that can chip away at Landorus's health while also having access to Knock Off, which allows it to remove Chansey's Eviolite for Landorus. It's also a fast pivot that can consistently grasp momentum for Flying teams through U-turn and Regenerator. Celesteela is a general wall for Landorus, providing security against powerful priority users such as Mamoswine and Dragonite while also being able to use Leech Seed to help Landorus regain some of its HP if need be. Gliscor is another defensive pivot for Landorus, and it can also relieve some pressure off of Landorus from switching into Electric-type attacks thanks to its Ground typing and better recovery. Dragonite can break special walls, such as Chansey and Mantine, while Landorus can break down physical walls for Dragonite such as Toxapex and Avalugg. Skarmory assists Landorus by stacking entry hazards against foes without Ground-type immunities through Spikes and its own Stealth Rock, and it can also Defog away Stealth Rock that would chip away at Landorus and its teammates.

Flying
--------
Knock Off can be used in Landorus's last moveslot as a better countermeasure to one of its best checks in Chansey, as it can remove its Eviolite and let Landorus damage it more effectively through its special attacks. However, teammates such as Tornadus-T and Gliscor can run Knock Off with better consistency. Calm Mind also can be used in place of Rock Slide, as it boosts Landorus's powerful Special Attack to greater heights. However, Landorus is already strong enough to break down nearly everything and in Monotype, so Calm Mind is a bit redundant. Rock Polish can also be used in the last slot with a Modest nature as a means of checking faster attackers in Greninja and Mega Lopunny, but then Landorus can no longer outspeed foes such as Kyurem-B and Porygon-Z.

Checks and Counters
===================

Flying
--------
**Ice-types**: Ice-types like Alolan Ninetales and Mamoswine can easily OHKO Landorus with their STAB and priority moves.

**Water-types**: Water-types such as Keldeo, Greninja, and Suicune can pressure Landorus with their STAB moves.

**Revenge Killers**: Faster foes like Latios, Mega Lopunny, and Tapu Koko can threaten to revenge kill Landorus. However, they must be wary of Landorus's powerful coverage options if they aren't able to KO it.

**Specially Defensive Walls**: Specially defensive tanks such as Chansey, Mantine, and Celesteela can stomach most of Landorus's attacks and can recover their health from any damage taken.

**Ground-immune Pokemon**: Foes with Levitate or Flying-types such as Mega Latias, Rotom-W, and Gliscor are immune to Landorus's Earth Power while also being able to stomach any other offensive option it can use.

Moves

*Earth Power is Landorus-I's best Ground STAB, and reliably threatens Electric, Steel, and Poison-types such as Zeraora, Heatran, and Toxapex.
*Sludge Wave is solid coverage against Grass and Fairy-types such as Clefable, Azumarill, and Serperior. Serperior...? big yikes!
*Focus Blast is useful against Dark and Normal-types such as Hydreigon and Porygon2. It can also hit targetsSteel-types that take exception to Landorus's Earth Power, like Air Balloon Heatran and Skarmory.
*Rock Slide helps against opposing Flying-types that avoid its Ground STAB, such as Zapdos and Mantine.
*Stealth Rock can be compressed onto Landorus, allowing teammates such as Skarmory and Gliscor to run other options. However, running Stealth Rock over Rock Slide makes Landorus more susceptible to opposing Flying-types such as Mantine and Mega Charizard Y.

Set Details
========

*Maximum Special Attack EVs are used to power up Landorus's already powerful attacks.
*Maximum Speed allows Landorus-I as fast as possible. Mention some things it outspeed that's important (like Kyu-B)
*A Naive nature is utilized to boost its speed to its peak without lowering one of its offensive stats, while preserving its Defense. Alternatively, Landorus could use a Hasty nature to minimize specially-oriented damage and most notably prevent the roll from Magnet Tapu Koko's Hidden Power Ice. QC agreed to add Hasty here, but not in the actual set since it's mostly just for this one roll.
* If utilizing Stealth Rock over Rock Slide, be sure to use a Timid Nature with 4 SpD, as it no longer needs to preserve its Attack.
*Sheer Force is the ability of choice, as it negates additional move effects to amplify Landorus-I's damage output.
*A Life Orb is used to power up Landorus's attacks even further, and its recoil damage is negated when paired with Sheer Force. You can just combine this with the previous bullet.

Usage Tips
========

*Landorus can be used as an early-game breaker, or sometimes as a lead, since its power and coverage options are very difficult to counteract defensively.
*Use teammates with pivoting options such as Volt Switch Thundurus-T and U-turn Tornadus-T to bring in Landorus safely, as this will keep up offensive pressure against the opponent. I think change the example to Volt Switch Zapdos as a slow pivot, then Torn-T is your fast pivot example.
*Use Stealth Rock against slower, weaker foes that cannot withstand Landorus's attacks, as it's very likely that they will switch out into another teammate. I think you can rephrase this slightly to be "Take advantage of forced switched Landorus enables by using..."
*Landorus can also act as a potent revenge killer against weakened foes inas well as slower threats like Nidoking and non-Scarf Victni.
*While Landorus has decent bulk, it should avoid taking unnecessary damage in order to assist its teammates as much as possible.
*Status, while it doesn't impact Landorus too much, should be avoided as much as possible in order to handle powerful attacks.
*Watch out for Ice-type coverage from foes such as Tapu Koko and Greninja, as they can OHKO Landorus this way.

Team Options
========

*Zapdos is a solid switchin to Water-types such as Suicune and Gyarados that threaten Landorus. Its ability to utilize Defog, provide momentum through Volt Switch, and capability to Stall out bulkier foes through Substitute and Toxic can create better opportunites for Landorus to sweep teams.

*Mega Aerodactyl can check Ice-types such as Weavile and Alolan Ninetales for Landorus, and is also able to Pursuit trap weakened foes such as Choice Scarf Victini and Latios that can threaten Landorus.
*Tornadus-T acts as an offensive defogger for Landorus, as it removes Stealth Rock that can chip away at Landorus's health, while also having access to Knock Off and being able to remove Eviolite off of Chansey for Landorus. Fast pivot
*Celesteela is a general wall for Landorus, providing security against powerful priority users such as Mamoswine and Dragonite, while also being able to use Leech Seed to help Landorus regain some of its health if need be.
*Skarmory is a defensive pivot for Landorus, as its typing and recovery allows it to handle foes such as Gyarados and Ice Punch Mega Lopunny with greater consistency. Meh
*Gliscor is another defensive pivot for Landorus, and can also relieve some pressure off of Landorus-I from switching into Electric-type attacks as Gliscor itself is another Ground-type.
*Dragonite can break special walls for Landorus, such as Chansey and Mantine, while Landorus-I can break down physical walls for Dragonite such as Toxapex and Avalugg.

*Knock Off can be used in the place of Landorus's Rock move Landorus's last slot as a better handle to one of its best checks in Chansey, as it's used to remove its Eviolite and damage it more effectively through its special attacks. However, teammates such as Tornadus-T and Gliscor can run Knock Off with better consistency, and running Knock Off on Landorus-I also forces it to take recoil damage from Life Orb.
*Calm Mind also can be used in place of Landorus's Rock move, boosting its powerful Special Attack to greater heights. However, Landorus is already strong enough to break down nearly everything and Monotype, so Calm Mind is a bit redundant for its moveset.
*Rock Polish can also be used over Landorus's Rock move with a Modest nature. A Modest nature enhances Landorus's already powerful Special Attack, while Rock Polish can be used to make up for the difference in speed, outspeeding Choice Scarf Greninja, and Dual Dance Mew at +2 Speed. Talk about how influential Rock Polish is vs Fairy, which is very tricky for Flying (once azumarill is dealt with)

**Ice-types**: Ice-types including Alolan Ninetales and Mamoswine can easily OHKO Landorus with their Ice STABs and priority.

**Water-Types**: Water-types such as Keldeo, Greninja, and Suicune can pressure Landorus with their Water STAB.

**Revenge Killers**: Faster foes like Latios, Mega Lopunny, and Tapu Koko can threaten to revenge kill Landorus-I due to its lackluster bulk. However, they must be wary of Landorus's powerful coverage options if they aren't able to KO it.

**Specially Defensive Tanks Walls**: Specially Defensive tanks such as Chansey, Mantine, and Celesteela can stomach most of Landorus's attacks and can recover their health from any damage taken.

**Foes with Ground-Immunities**: Foes with Levitate or Flying-types such as Mega Latias, Rotom-Wash, and Gliscor can avoid Landorus's Earth Power while also being able to stomach any other offensive option it can use.
QC 1/3 please also fix through - it's Landorus (not Landorus-I) (you use both interchangeably)

- "that take exception to" doesn't mean what you want it to say. Can you rephrase

Set Details:
- You don't mention Timid as the main nature here. Can you fix your nature explanations? (Timid is fine even with Rock Slide to preserve bulk, since Rock Slide still 2HKOes Mantine and Zapdos; Naive and Hasty are good too, though)

- Don't mention the Magnet item

Usage Tips:
- Talk about when setting Stealth Rock is a waste. If you're against a type that is almost certain to get Stealth Rock up against you and won't Defog, it's not worth wasting time setting when you'll be Defogging soon.
- Electric immunity needs to be mentioned

Earth Power is Landorus's Ground-type STAB move, and which reliably threatens Electric-, Steel-, and Poison-types such as Zeraora, Mega Scizor, and Toxapex. (not qc but mega scizor isn't weak to ground) Sludge Wave is solid coverage against Fairy-types such as Clefable and Azumarill. Focus Blast is useful against Dark- and Normal-types such as Hydreigon and Porygon2. It can also hit Steel-types that are immune to Landorus's Earth Power, like Air Balloon Heatran and Skarmory. Stealth Rock can be compressed onto Landorus, allowing teammates such as Gliscor to run other options. Rock Slide helps against opposing Flying-types that avoid are immune to its Ground-type STAB, such as Mantine and Zapdos. However, using Rock Slide over Stealth Rock isn't as ideal, (AC) since it's harder to compress fit on teammates such as Mega Aerodactyl and Skarmory, as they need that extra moveslot to fulfill their roles.

Set Details
========

Maximum Speed Investment investment allows Landorus to be as fast (assuming this is what you meant) as possible, outspeeding threats such as Kyurem-B and Mega Charizard Y. A Timid nature is utilized to boost its speed Speed to its peak without lowering one of its defensive stats. Alternatively, Landorus can use a Naive Nature nature if it's using Rock Slide to boost its power. Additionally, Landorus could use a Hasty nature to minimize specially-oriented damage taken from special attacks, (AC) and most notably, (AC) prevent the roll from Tapu Koko's Hidden Power Ice live a Hidden Power Ice from Tapu Koko, though it no longer lives Choice Scarf Victini's V-create from full HP. Sheer Force and a Life Orb are powerful when used together, as Sheer Force negates additional move effects and Life Orb recoil to amplify Landorus's damage output.

Usage Tips
========

Landorus can be used as an early-game breaker, or sometimes as a lead, since its power and coverage options are very difficult to counteract defensively. Use teammates with pivoting options such as Volt Switch Zapdos and U-turn Tornadus-T to bring in Landorus safely, as this will keep up offensive pressure against the opponent. Take advantage of switches Landorus can force forces by setting up Stealth Rock (wording here makes it sound like setting up stealth rock forces switches itself, change to something else if you can think of a better way of wording) against slower, weaker foes. Landorus can also act as a potent revenge killer against weakened foes, (AC) as well as slower threats like Nidoking and non-Scarf Victini. (unbold 'i') While Landorus has decent bulk, it should avoid taking unnecessary damage in order to wallbreak as much as possible. Setting Stealth Rock isn't always necessary, especially against foes such as Swampert and Mew that look to set up Stealth Rock of their own. Watch out for Ice-type coverage from foes such as Tapu Koko and Greninja, as they can OHKO Landorus this way. It's also ideal to avoid Knock Off users like Deoxys-Speed and Mega Sableye, as removing Landorus's Life Orb softens lessens its damage output. Landorus also acts as an Electric immunity by virtue of its Ground typing, but must be careful of their coverage such as Hidden Power Ice. (wasn't this point basically said a few lines up?)

Team Options
========

Zapdos is a solid switch-in (AH) to Water-types that threaten Landorus, (AC) such as Suicune and Gyarados that threaten Landorus. Its ability to utilize Defog, provide momentum through Volt Switch, and capability to stall out bulkier foes such as Swampert through Substitute and Toxic can create better opportunities for Landorus to sweep teams. Mantine is a defensive pivot into Ice- (AH) and Water-type attacks for Landorus, as the former is a neutrality for Mantine while it completely walls the latter due to Water Absorb. It also has incredible special bulk that it can use to check Special Attackers special attackers such as Blacephalon and Greninja, and can also Defog hazards away for Flying teams. Mega Charizard Y can threaten Ice-types such as Mamoswine and Cloyster for Landorus, as well as bulkier Water-types like Gastrodon and Slowbro through the combination of Drought and Solar Beam. In return, Landorus can swtich switch into incoming Electric-type attacks for Mega Charizard Y. Mega Aerodactyl can check Ice-types such as Weavile and Alolan Ninetales for Landorus, and is also able to Pursuit trap weakened foes such as Choice Scarf Victini and Latios that can threaten Landorus. Additionally, Mega Aerodactyl can also compress (talked with eien, think he wanted you to talk about aero beats dragon teams if it doesn't need to carry sr, which lando helps with by covering that utility, so change this sentence accordignly) Stealth Rock as it has great physical prowess and the ability to break Dragon teams. Tornadus-T acts as utility for Landorus, as it removes Stealth Rock that can chip away at Landorus's health through Defog, while also having access to Knock Off which makes it able to remove Eviolite off of Chansey's Eviolite for Landorus. It's also a fast pivot that can consistently grasp momentum for Flying teams through U-turn and Regenerator. Celesteela is a general wall for Landorus, providing security against powerful priority users such as Mamoswine and Dragonite, while also being able to use Leech Seed to help Landorus regain some of its health if need be. Gliscor is another defensive pivot for Landorus, and can also relieve some pressure off of Landorus from switching into Electric-type attacks. (landorus is a ground-type) Dragonite can break special walls for Landorus, such as Chansey and Mantine, while Landorus can break down physical walls for Dragonite such as Toxapex and Avalugg. Skarmory assists Landorus by hazard stacking against foes without Ground-type immunites immunities through Spikes and its own Stealth Rock, and can also Defog away Stealth Rock that would chip away at Landorus and its teammates.

Knock Off can be used in Landorus's last moveslot as a better handle countermeasure to one of its best checks in Chansey, as it's used to it can remove its Eviolite and damage it more effectively through its special attacks. However, teammates such as Tornadus-T and Gliscor can run Knock Off with better consistency. Calm Mind also can be used in place of Rock Slide, as it boosts its powerful Special Attack to greater heights. However, Landorus is already strong enough to break down nearly everything and in Monotype, so Calm Mind is a bit redundant for its moveset. Rock Polish can also be used over Landorus's Rock move with a Modest nature.

[OVERVIEW]

Flying
========

Landorus is a fantastic special wallbreaker for Flying teams, as the combination of Sheer Force, a Life Orb, and a wide movepool is extremely powerful and difficult to defensively counteract. Being a Ground-type is already desirable for Flying teams, as the immunity is greatly appreciated against Electric-types such as Tapu Koko, Zapdos, and Zeraora. Its Speed tier narrowly edges out potent threats such as Mega Charizard X, Kyurem-B, and Volcarona. Landorus has a decent amount of bulk for its offensive prowess, so it can take at least one hit, such as Celesteela's Heavy Slam and Mew's Psychic. However, Landorus is susceptible to Water- (AH) and Ice-type moves from foes such as Keldeo and Alolan Ninetales. Landorus faces competition from its Therian form Landorus-T, as that forme better checks potent forces against threats to Flying teams such as Mega Diancie and Tapu Koko when paired with a Choice Scarf.

Moves

Earth Power is Landorus's Ground-type STAB move, and which reliably threatens Electric-, Steel-, and Poison-types such as Zeraora, Mega Scizor, and Toxapex. (not qc but mega scizor isn't weak to ground) (looking at set eo hits it hardest but yeah if you're listing stuff it hits super effectively scizor isn't one) Sludge Wave is solid coverage against Fairy-types such as Clefable and Azumarill. Focus Blast is useful against Dark- and Normal-types such as Hydreigon and Porygon2. It can also hit Steel-types that are immune to Landorus's Earth Power, like Skarmory and Air Balloon Heatran and Skarmory. Stealth Rock can be compressed onto Landorus, allowing teammates such as Gliscor to run other options. Rock Slide helps against opposing Flying-types, (AC) which that avoid are immune to its Ground-type STAB move, such as Mantine and Zapdos. However, using Rock Slide over Stealth Rock isn't as ideal, (AC) since it's harder to compress fit on teammates such as Mega Aerodactyl and Skarmory, as they need that extra moveslot to fulfill their roles.

Set Details
========

Additionally, Landorus could use a Hasty nature to minimize specially-oriented damage taken from special attacks, (AC) (don't add this) and, (AC) most notably, (AC) prevent the roll from Tapu Koko's Hidden Power Ice live survive a Hidden Power Ice from Tapu Koko, though it no longer lives takes Choice Scarf Victini's V-create from full HP. Sheer Force and a Life Orb are powerful when used together, as Sheer Force negates additional move effects and Life Orb recoil to amplify Landorus's damage output.

Usage Tips
========

Landorus can be used as an early-game wallbreaker, (RC) or sometimes as a lead, since its power and coverage options are very difficult to counteract defensively. Use teammates with pivoting options such as Volt Switch Zapdos and U-turn Tornadus-T to bring in Landorus safely, as this will keep up offensive pressure against the opponent. Take advantage of switches Landorus can force forces by setting up Stealth Rock (wording here makes it sound like setting up stealth rock forces switches itself, change to something else if you can think of a better way of wording) (it's fine imo) against slower, weaker foes. Landorus can also act as a potent revenge killer against weakened foes, (AC) as well as slower threats like Nidoking and non-Choice Scarf Victini. Landorus also acts as an Electric immunity by virtue of its Ground typing, (RC) but must be careful of their coverage such as Hidden Power Ice. (wasn't this point basically said a few lines up?)

Team Options
========

It also has incredible special bulk that it can use to check Special Attackers special attackers such as Blacephalon and Greninja, (RC) and can also Defog hazards away use Defog to remove hazards for Flying teams. In return, Landorus can swtich switch into incoming Electric-type attacks for Mega Charizard Y. Mega Aerodactyl can check Ice-types such as Weavile and Alolan Ninetales (does weavile not do a ton w ice shard or is that not run) for Landorus, and it is also able to Pursuit trap weakened foes such as Choice Scarf Victini and Latios that can threaten Landorus. Additionally, Mega Aerodactyl can also compress (talked with eien, think he wanted you to talk about aero beats dragon teams if it doesn't need to carry sr, which lando helps with by covering that utility, so change this sentence accordignly) Stealth Rock, (AC) as it has great physical prowess and the ability to break Dragon teams. Tornadus-T acts as utility for Landorus, as it removes Stealth Rock that can chip away at Landorus's health through Defog, (RC use commas before while only if it means whereas) while also having access to Knock Off, (AC) which makes it able to allows it to remove Eviolite off of Chansey's Eviolite for Landorus. It's also a fast pivot that can consistently grasp momentum for Flying teams through U-turn and Regenerator. Celesteela is a general wall for Landorus, providing security against powerful priority users such as Mamoswine and Dragonite, (RC) while also being able to use Leech Seed to help Landorus regain some of its health HP if need be. Gliscor is another defensive pivot for Landorus, and it can also relieve some pressure off of Landorus from switching into Electric-type attacks. (landorus is a ground-type) (think this means like it can switch into electrics so lando doesn't have to but yes clarify) Dragonite can break special walls for Landorus, such as Chansey and Mantine, while Landorus can break down physical walls for Dragonite such as Toxapex and Avalugg. Skarmory assists Landorus by hazard stacking against foes without Ground-type immunites immunities through Spikes and its own Stealth Rock, and Skarmory can also Defog away Stealth Rock that would chip away at Landorus and its teammates.
