Although normally offensive, Landorus-T can play a defensive role with Rocky Helmet, breaking Focus Sashes from Pokémon like Mienshao while offering its partners a safe switch due to its slow U-turn. This set is great in bulky offense compositions, specially with Xerneas and Zacian-C, although this set lacks offensive pressure to check Pokémon like Rillaboom efficiently.

(imagine both sets as separate, you can't mention points made in the first set to justify points of the second set, therefore, you need to rewrite the second set almost entirely)

Rock Slide's main use is to checks Volcarona and Flying-types such as Tornadus and Galarian Moltres, dealing significant damage even with a hindering nature. It is also able to score flinches on opponents also has a chance to make foes flinch. Sludge Bomb is a great tool against Xerneas that also breaks through and Grass-types like Rillaboom and Tsareena. Pairing U-turn with Choice Scarf allows Landorus-T to quickly reposition itself against Calyrex-S, bringing in checks like Incineroar, and cycle Intimidate against Zacian-C and Rillaboom to soften their attacks.

Landorus-T is a great partner for Restricted partners Pokemon(repetition of partner) like Xerneas, being able to check its main checking threats such as Zacian-C, Stakataka, and Nihilego.
