General Information

YOU ARE EXPECTED TO READ AND UNDERSTAND THE GENERAL TOURNAMENT RULES AND THE SCHEDULING GUIDELINES.

Week 1 will begin on Monday, November 25th. The tournament is expected to run for five weeks total (three weeks regular season, two weeks playoffs).

All 8 starting slots will be in SW/SH LC. Each team will have 8 starting slots and 3 substitutions.

Standings will be determined by individual wins rather than by points earned from winning or tying a week.

Live Draft Information

Official Draft Date: November 23rd at 2:00pm GMT-5 (EST).
Official Draft Location: LPL PS Room

Managers are autodrafted to their teams but are expected to make 10 picks during the course of the draft.
Pick trades are not allowed. However, trades are allowed following the draft up until Week 1 is posted. There are no limits to the number of post-draft trades as long as they're completed before Week 1 begins.
There won't be a pick timer nor will there be draft timeouts.

Playoff seeding tiebreakers will be determined by a best-of-three.

RE: Moody Clause for Week 1

Moody Ability is not allowed for Week 1. Until yesterday, Moody Clause was still in effect on Smogon. Moody Clause is no longer in effect and the ability is legal on PS. Since the clause removal was done mid-week, we won’t be allowing it in Ekans Draft until Week 2.

RE: Teambuilder Validator Update

Since this issue is purely a sim error, all players with a match remaining in Week 1 will be required to bring teams validated by the teambuilder in its current state. We understand that some movepools have changed as a result, but this is just par for the course for early gen PS development.

RE: Body Press Bug

The move, Body Press, is banned for Week 3 due to the sim glitch that is taking the Eviolite Defense raise into account and boosting the attack's damage output significantly. If it is fixed mid-week, it will remain banned for the rest of the week.

Edit: Body Press is now fixed on PS and is legal to use in Semifinals.

RE: Week 3 Activity + Playoff Seeding

Fiend is given activity win over Shrug due to the latter not wanting to play and his manager not subbing in anyone.

Ninjadog vs tko is a dead game.

The Sobbleing Heysups and skskskskwkovets both earned 16 wins in the regular season. However, The Sobbleing Heysups will have first seed since they won the head-to-head matchup versus the skskskskwovets in Week 1.
