Tyrunt @ Eviolite
Ability: Strong Jaw
Level: 5
EVs: 204 Atk / 76 SpD / 212 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Rock Blast
- Close Combat
- Psychic Fangs

Tyrunt has been tearing up the LC metagame by virtue of its ability to set up with Dragon Dance and sweep. It has also gained new coverage moves in Close Combat and Psychic Fangs from Crown Tundra. After one Dragon Dance, it can outpace the entire unboosted metagame. Rock Blast takes care of Vullaby and Focus Sash Abra. Close Combat 2HKOes Ferroseed and OHKOes Scraggy. After a Dragon Dance, a Strong Jaw-boosted Psychic Fangs can take care of Foongus and Mienfoo. Partners like Ferroseed and Pawniard are good to pair with Tyrunt because of their ability to set up entry hazards, which makes it easier for Tyrunt to sweep. Tyrunt appreciates Pokemon such as Amaura and Natu, as they can provide dual screens support to make it easier for Tyrunt to set up with Dragon Dance. However, Tyrunt has trouble with priority users such as Grookey and Timburr, so Foongus or Koffing is appreciated.

Tyrunt loves Pokemon such as Vullaby and Mienfoo can use Knock Off to get rid of opposing Pokemon's Eviolite to make it easier to sweep.
Not a huge fan of this line. Just about everyone Pokemon benefits from Knock users. Maybe a line on things that are actually support it by making it easier to set up, such as Natu, Amaura or a Memento user.

However, Tyrunt has trouble with Grookey
Make this into priority users such as Grookey or Timburr, and then suggest Foongus or Koffing.

trouble with Fighting-types such as Mienfoo and Timburr
Not a huge fan of that line in general, the examples for counters aren't great either really. If this needs a bit more meat, a section of hazard setters might be a good thing to include after the line on Close Combat.

Should be good to go!
