League of Legends: Let's Talk About uhhh??

PLAY WHAT YOU ARE BEST AT AND DO YOUR BEST TO CARRY YOUR TEAM AND DISREGARD TEAM COMPOSITION AS IT IS LIKELY YOU ARE BETTER THAN THE OTHER 9 PEOPLE IN THE GAME ONLY PLAY A SHIT ROLE LIKE SUPPORT WHEN YOU ARE DUO QUEUING
don't play support unless you're laning with someone you know is good

although you wouldn't have won that anyway since the katarina and sivir were retarded and it's likely irelia was a feeder too (not even 100cs at half an hour) and galio was also pretty bad (dat cs...)

actually solo queuing, at low elo anyway, is entirely luck of the draw. it basically comes down to which team has less bad players, since typically you should be able to carry a game if the other nine players are bad

you are entirely right. I don't know what I was thinking, i just picked support because generally I'm pretty decent at it and all this ranked gameness just made me think of all the streams I watched earlier to pump myself and there was always support and and oh god i am so bad

I'm just going to wait until my brother hits 30 so we can duo queue

*ahem* Warwick is such a boss. Even when I feed my opponents (yes, it happens sometimes...), I still manage to be a sneaky mofo with him. Nothing is more satisfying than dashing through the jungle and slaying unsuspecting champs. Even when I employ the same strategy over and over again, people fail to watch the jungle.

sivir and galio builds make me cry

I can help ipl but I'm super busy atm with Valkyrie. Maybe we can duo queue in a week or two?

With what little time I do get to play LoL, I have found a ranged carry that I understand even less than Ashe (who I understand pretty well now). I suck with Vayne. I can farm up and make up for early feeding late game, but it's the early feeding part that gets me. I just hate her range so much, I always feel like I'm always just short of tagging someone with Q or impaling someone to a wall. And the fact is she has no way of harassing enemies without getting up in their business, something mages and bruisers are all too happy to punish (I don't usually have the luxury of playing standard meta). I'd like a good Vayne player to coach me through a game or two, but again I'm really busy right now.

watch some solomid games

idk how recent or up-to-date with the metagame they are but you shouldn't focus so much on harass early on. that seems to be your problem. as with any AD carry, focus on last hitting and save your mana for when your jungler comes to gank, or when their jungler comes to gank.

If that's the case I might just not like Vayne, as I can stay on top of last hitting and harass easily with other carries. But I do intend to become a great ranged carry player, so I'll suck it up cause Vayne is still really good.

Vayne's super fun, but she's pretty item dependent in my experiencee, and her condemn takes significant skill not to fuck up (believe me, the amount of times I have fucked up Condemn is immense), so she takes time do well with, I guess

I am still only level 7, but I am really enjoying this game. I have only been playing against bots so far. If anyone wants to add me my summoner name is Meleoron. Basically I just play a lot Teemo (thanks thorns) because he is hella fun and was pretty cheap to buy. I suck with anyone else but I give some of the free champs a go every now and then.

I was wondering if it was actually viable to play this game semi-seriously using only IP? Those 6300 champs will cost a bucket load of games worth of IP just for one and this combined with the cost of runes makes me thinks it is not viable to play without RP. Opinions?

Play with the free week champs every week, and find one that you like and suits your playstyle. There are plenty of good champs that are fairly inexpensive. You shouldn't have to worry about runes until lv 20.

ive never used RP im L29 with 11 champs owned and 2 full rune pages tier 3 runes

and i got 5k IP right now. and to add to that, when i was a lower level i wasted IP on runes

If we're doing that, I've never used RP (that wasn't free) either. Level 30, 12 champions owned, four full rune pages of tier 3 runes except for one tier 2 HP quint.

Just played Dominion cause I didn't have a bunch of time and I just wanted my FWOTD. One of my teammates never connected. We crushed the other team 343-0 in a 4-5. I was Aniva and I was soloing bot against Xerath and MF. My team lost top and just couldn't get it back even though it was 3v3. So after MF and Xerath died trying to take bot from me I pushed and got their bot. Brand came down to help me and the two of us held that point against all comers for the rest of the match. I didn't even go back to buy. All I had were Sorc shoes and an Odyn's. Ended the game with a ton of gold. They were sending three against us and getting slaughtered. Top still couldn't push from mid to get top with it 2v2. Then they sent four bot and Brand and I still won thanks to awesome use of Garrison and Aniva's ice wall. Finally the other two guys pushed top and we five capped it out.

I swear every other normal I play anymore there's some fucking troll shaco jungling without smite, being severely underleveled, and doing nothing but placing boxes the entire game. Am I the only one who's experiencing this?

observer mode feature i guess

very very useful for dealing with D/Cs in competitive play

on another note i've been meaning to learn some jax and singed

should i buy dodge seals or movespeed quints first

Dodge is necessary for both, so you should get those first. jax needs is dodge to work, and dodge is of course great on any tank really

Speaking solely for Singed, I'd get the movespeed quints first. Dodge is not at all a necessity if you have armor, but it is a little better.

Jax needs oddge seals, and doesn't want to uase movespeed quints. Singed wants dodge seals regardless. Unless you only care about Singed, it's pretty much a no-brainer to go with dodge

I was thinking dodge since both champions need dodge seals while Jax needs AD quints (which I already have) so dodge would be more all-purpose. However, they're also more expensive.

I'll probably end up doing dodge anyway since I can buy movespeed quints during the holidays.
