he's kind of right in that people jump on bandwagons a lot in this game, but that doesn't mean the champs people bandwagon to aren't justified. People's opinions on champs change, but the champs themselves didn't change. Varus used to be considered bad, and now he's considered one of the best AD Carries, and that drastic change happened with no change whatsoever to Varus. He had untapped power that people didn't realize until later, and that's not Varus's fault, it's ours.
 
varus is good because every other AD carry either got nerfed into the ground or was unable to adapt to the metagame shift

her ganks are totally silly, the ability to avoid nearly every common ward is insane and also pretty funny to use. picking up kills with your jungler is also fun and easy.

however, she's rather short-ranged (her q especially feels short for some reason), and her damage output really is not that great, especially in a sustained fight. her passive is also rather lackluster, it's pretty much irrelevant through the whole game except for giving you some free harass early.

the fact that two champs in a row have the ability to do this (Zac's jump is like 8 miles) is kind of disturbing and a trend that I hope doesnt continue
 
It's cool, now we're getting two champs in a row that are manaless and have an Anivia-type passive!

I gots a question: for those of us that played competitive Pokemon, is there a correlation between favorite types of teams (stall, HO, entry hazards, the classic eliminate threats and sweep) and favorite champions/types of champions? i.e. do stall players like playing Cho'Gath/Shen/Rammus or HO players like playing assassins like Zed/Leblanc?

I guess I'll start. I never really had a favorite type of Pokemon team but I really liked teams that took advantage of misplays and proper switching. That relates to me playing champions that have CC to catch people out of position, like TF, Diana, Blitzcrank, etc.
 
I play hyper offensive teams the best and my choice champions are gank-heavy junglers and TRIZTUNUH THE HYPER AYE-DIE CARRIER

kind of, i guess. i played bulkyish offense and like playing bruisers and i thought ho teams were stupid and blow at ADC. i gotta have dat cc though 2 f*ck shit up
 
I play mostly Bruisers up top except when i decide to to support... so i guess Bulky Offense/Stall?

Honestly not sure what the pokemon equivalent of a support would be.
 
I like playing deceptive shit/strong sweepers in Pokemon and I play tanks in LoL.

So vastly different playstyles.
 
Talking about ranked, if someone wants to steam roll with me through gold I.. I just need someone to lower the pick-up number and to motivate me to try hard.

actually ever since i started playing almost exclusively ranked it's become a LOT more fun and there's hardly any pressure (except during series)

but really you treat them like normals after a while and you don't really care about the LP - but at the same time, you're striving to improve after every game

idk i just find that if you play enough ranked, you really start to appreciate the game more whereas if i play ARAM for 2 hours i hate life and everything about league of legends
 
Idk man ARAM is the best shit for me because I play premade and there are so many lols to be had.

I guess I could start ranking more I'm p. sure my jungles are high silver standard at least
 
I play almost exclusively ranked games and honestly can barely bring myself to play anything else at this point

i usd 2 only play uber pkmn in 4th gen. uber by itselv is p. offensive eben 4 def ubers, but i always pikd def teams. ou teams was stall errytime. :>

n i liek 2 play support in lol. soraka (night elf soraka +1), cow, leona, lux. meybeh dat counts as stall? i liek mid champs 2 bcos they r kinda fun 2 play. 2 many 2 name for dat.
