It's a bit weird - but "Unsuspended D/E" just means "Any D/E move that's not being suspended on that action". It's certainly one of our stranger ones ^^;

As such, Tenta should use Dive A2, and Surf A3.

Both mons forget about consecutive move costs, and ‘waste’ 4 more EN.
This was also a round of dice rolls, where Dogfish44 got a crit. Unfortunately for him, Sivanandi also got a burn, cementing Dogfish44’s hatred of... calamari? Wait calamari is squid? And Tentacruel is a jellyfish? This means that jellyfish survives the round, but thanks to sub abuse vampire bat is also alive. With both sides at similarly low HP and EN, the next round will decide who gets the lead.

Check my subs again - I should use Detect A3, as per my first substitution. And unless I'm going blind, Knock Off means no healing from Black Sludge A2 or A3, as Tentacruel is no longer holding it ^^;

I presume that it doesn’t take any crash damage because it wasn’t using Fly halfway?
