A.INTRODUCTION
Hello people, I am Lialiabeast and I am posting this thread because I recently got into LC and I have to admit that it is more fun than I expected it to be. After some games using sample teams and getting slowly familiar with the current meta, I decided to try building my own team and start climbing the ladder using an alt named "Little Yaya". I believe hitting 1400s, while using a team that I built in a tier which I have been playing for a week, is just too cool for anyone to handle and so I wanted to share this with you and perhaps suggest me some changes that will help the team achieve more. Also, I wanted to name the team around Peaky Blinders because this series is just too fcking awesome and while reading this RMT I suggest you hearing the best intro by far. I am not really experienced in writing and posting RMTs but I really hope you people enjoy this at the very least!
B.TEAM BUILDING PROCESS

So the main idea was to use Corphish, a Pokemon that I really like and can hit hard thanks to Adaptability. Therefore I decided to build the team around it.

The next step was to think of Corphish's weaknesses and how to cover them. I found Ferroseed to be a great wall to assist Corphish and basically deal with major threats such as Grookey and LO Abra because Corphish's can't take any hit from it and special attacks in general.

The team couldn't be named after Peaky Blinders if there wasn't a damn horse in it! (I know it is a donkey but let it be a horse for this RMT ty)
Jokes aside, I thought that I needed a Stealth Rock setter to help Corphish secure some KOs in late-game and so I had to choose between Pawniard, Onix, and Mudbray. I didn't want yet another Steel-type in my team so Pawniard was not an option for me. I don't really have a serious reason for dropping Onix since it seemed pretty good as well, but I found Mudbray a better option since it can hit way harder and KO threats like Elekid and Magnemite.

So after settling down with covering some weaknesses of Corphish, I thought it would a good idea to have a Fighting-type Pokemon in the team, since there is one in every LC team in the current meta, and so I came up with the GOAT Mienfoo.

As I said, every team in LC has a Fighting-type, so it was natural to think of something that can take on these Fighting-types. There were some good choices but Natu was just too damn hot to miss and it turned out that it can help the team way more than expected.

Ponyta was something I put in the team that can KO the threats that mentioned above such as Grookey and help Corphish clean up late-game. Also there are some Will-o-Wisp users such as Frillish and Koffing, that can cripple Corphish, so a Fire-type Pokemon would be appreciated in order to avoid the burn status. (that is if I don't want to risk Natu)
C.TEAM ANALYSIS
Meet Tommy
Ability: Adaptability
Male
EVS: 196 Atk / 76 Def / 236 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Crabhammer
- Aqua Jet
- Knock Off
- Dragon Dance
The leader of the gang hits hard with its Dragon Dance set and can clear up all the mess that has been left. With Dragon Dance and Jolly nature, Corphish can outpseed and KO Pokemon like Elekid and Galarian Ponyta. Crabhammer and Aqua jet are the moves that can abuse Adaptablity, while Knock Off is a useful coverage move since held items in this tier are really important and this helps the rest of the team even in early-game. Basically, Corphish's main role is to come out and start cleaning after setting up and most importantly after all its checks are weakened or even better KOed. Swords Dance might be preferred but there is a reason that I chose Dragon Dance over Swords dance, which I will explain soon.
Meet Charlie
Ability: Iron Barbs
Male
Evs: 84 Hp / 36 Atk / 108 Def / 4 SpA / 228 SpD / 36 Spe
Bold Nature
- Spikes
- Giga Drain
- Knock Off
- Thunder Wave
Charlie is there to help Tommy cleaning up and deal with trouble by providing his support. This support comes from 1.Spikes, that help Corphish secure KOs after setting up, 2.Thunder Wave, that cripples threats like Mienfoo and Carvanha and 3.Knock Off that removes items which as I said is always appreciated. I used the classic Evs spread on Ferroseed in order to act as a dependable physical and also special wall that can switch into many different threats. Giga Drain is there to act as an attacking move for it dealing with Pokemon like Staryu. Ferroseed also is useful to deal with setup mons that can harm the team such as Porygon with Agility and as I said before major threats such as Grookey. Well actually its most important role is to spam Thunder Wave like a boss.
Meet John
John (Mudbray) @ Eviolite
Ability: Stamina
Male
Evs: 116 Hp / 196 Atk / 36 Def / 156 Spe
Adamant Nature
-Stealth Rock
-Earthquake
-Heavy Slam
-Close Combat
John is a valuable member of the gang as he helps Tommy by dealing with threats that he won't handle. Mudbray and Ferroseed form a great hazard core with Spikes and Stealth Rock and that is really great not only for Corphish but for every other member of the team. Mudbray's Evs makes it a Pokemon that can hit as hard as possible while thanks to Eviolite, Stamina, and the investement in Hp and Defense, it can tank many physical hits. Heavy Slam, Earthquake, and Close Combat are its hard-hitting moves that allow it to KO walls and threats.
Meet Arthur
Arthur (Mienfoo) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Regenator
Male
Evs: 236 Atk / 36 SpD / 236 Spe
Jolly Nature
-High Jump Kick
-U-Turn
-Knock Off
-Brick Break
Arthur is the gang's mad dog that applies pressure to everyone that stands in the way. Mienfoo is the Fighting-type Pokemon that I needed and I chose the Choice Scarft set becuase I needed the safe U-Turn to pivot into Corphish or Mudbray. Aside from pivoting, Mienfoo can hit really hard and hit tourblesome walls like Ferroseed while also baiting LO Abra and getting rid of it easily with Knock Off. Hitting hard, removing items, and pivoting make Mienfoo a suitable member for the team. Reckless might be better for applying pressure with High Jump Kick, but I chose Regenator over it because I want to keep the momentum. Overall I find this mon goated as hell and it helps in literally every battle.
Meet Polly
Polly (Natu) @ Light Clay
Ability: Magic Bounce
Female
Evs: 36 Hp / 36 SpA / 236 SpD / 196 Spe
Timid Nature
-Reflect
-Light Screen
-Thunder Wave
-Psychic
Polly is one of the main pillars of the gang, as her support gives Tommy a much easier time. At first I chose Natu for 2 reasons: Being an answer to Fighting-type Pokemon and the fact that it got swag. However when I was taking a look at all its possible sets, I found out that it can act as a dependable screens setter and that is the main reason I decided to go with Dragon Dance Corphish set. Basically this turned out into the main idea of this team. Having Natu carefully come in, setting the screens and then bring Corphish to setup and clean. Also I changed Teleport to Psychic because I wanted something to take on the Fighting types and also have an attacking move in case things went wrong. Also who needs Rapid Spin and Defog when you have Magic Bounce?
Meet Michael
Michael (Ponyta) @ Berry Juice
Ability: Flame Body
Male
Evs: 36 Hp / 236 Atk / 196 Spe
Jolly Nature
-Flare Blitz
-Wild Charge
-Will-o-Wisp
-High Horsepower
Michael helps Tommy by getting rid of legitimate threats but sometimes he tries to steal the spotlight by being too good at his job. Ponyta is the Fire-type that can work great with a Water-type such as Corphish forming a serious attacking duo by dealing with each other's checks. Wild Charge also deals with Water-type checks for both of them such as Mareanie and Frillish. Also, Ponyta provide a Will-o-Wisp usage that is appreciated as it can cripple many annoying threats like Diglett.
D.THREAT LIST
There aren't many threats to this team that I noticed. I am not saying the team is perfect but for now I only have noticed two Pokemon that can be trouble.

I.SHOUTOUTS
As I said I am quite new to LC. Therefore I don't know many people that could help me but I ran into a player named Inazuma-Fulgur that was kind enough to suggest some changes, major and minor. Changes like Evs investement, changing moves such as Morning Sun for Wild Charge on Ponyta, Mienfoo's set etc.
