Wowie zowie, what a lot of votes we got this time, enough to make us actually have to count them this time around! So, let's see who these unoriginal oafs REALLY are...cue the winners!
1CF85F45-C9CF-4F95-A1B2-B040D06537C2.png

First up, with 6 votes for it, please give a warm welcome to Design A's winner, Scampion-Charizard-Rider, made by Crep50! Being the only one that actually noticed the little fairy on top, this Fire/Fairy sweeper excels in the sun, and thus goes quite well with sun setters such as Alterasu! It also has Battle Armor to protect itself from critical hits!
1762850030983.png

Up next, for Design B, we have....no, it's not possible. But it's also unbelievable...FOR ALL THREE SUBMISSIONS FOR THIS DESIGN SOMEHOW GOT SIX VOTES EACH!
1763455566281.png
While that's amazing, it also means that we're gonna have to do another tiebreaker next slate...

1763181420364.png

Design C is the next one to get it's identity, and with a close 8 to 6 vote, that identity goes to Lucarrghio, made by G-Luke! *clears throat* Arrrrrr, this olde pirate Lucario is a Ground/Fighting solid offensive wallbreaker with ye unique typing and access to Opportunist, so think twice before setting up against or else you might be walking ye plank!
1763182704872.png
1763182719487.png

Now we move on to the three designs that came from the donation drive...First, well done, PalpitoadChamp, your Marvin is now the identity of Design D! This alien is a Water/Steel type with Water Bubble, Stealth Rock, and a Mega Evolution that makes it really fast! The submission said it was a Weird version of Araquanid....
1763184603088.png
1763184925064.png

For Design E, the winner this time is Cobblesaur, a G-Luke submission that took the crown with a vote of 9 to 6! This Rock/Ground type, in it's base form, is a a strong wallbreaker that relies on a Strong Jaw boosted Jaw Lock, which is actually a Rock-type move now, so keep that in mind if you want to plan future submissions with that move! When it Mega Evolves, it becomes a bulky user of coil that can also use Jaw Lock in it's own unique way!
1762874574744.png
1762874585474.png
1762874594677.png

Finally, we have Design F...and it was close...but not close enough. With a vote of 5 to 4, Design F will know be known as the very oddly named Why Does Everything Look Poison Typed, or WDELPT for short, who was designed by PalpitoadChamp! This pure Fighting type has two different tricks with it's two Mega Stones...no, make that three! In it's base form, it's a bulky mixed Sheer Force user with a variety of coverage options. In Mega Form X, it changes to a Fighting/Steel type with Tough Claws that's a devestating physical sweeper, and in Mega Form Y, it's a Fire/Fighting special sweeper!
Thank you for voting! You'll find all of the winners in the database soon. The next slate will be starting soon once all the itty bitty initial work has been done...take care!

SLATE 15:
1763456941700.png

“There have been times when information has been leaked to the internet before it was officially released. Often, they are so out of the blue that most people don’t believe they’re real, and when they really see it, it takes the surprise out of it. One notable example of this was when artwork of Decidueye, Incineroar, and Primarina was leaked to the internet: The community thought they looked so realistic that they might be real, and made fan designs to bridge the gap. And turns out, they were! But I still must have felt the fear in some people’s hearts towards seeing Incineroar. it might have been a Dark-type Heel Wrestler…but no-one knew that when it got leaked, right?”
So, now that we're back to three designs a slate...you may notice that we kinda leaked these next three designs on the Database during the previous slate. But now you finally get to decide who they really are...but does being shown early mean you can prepare for it in advance?

You have until Monday the 24th of November to cast your submissions...GOOD LUCK! Also, don't forget to check the Discord Server if you want to apply for programmer or council! (https://discord.gg/NYPkm6EyJj)
TIEBREAKER! (NOT PART OF THIS SLATE)
1762868033293.png

Amazingly enough, Design B from the previous slate had managed to tie with all three submissions! Choose between
Cyaneedle's Lookatchu, PalpitoadChamp's Pikachu's Sleep Paralysis Demon or G-Luke's Wilt-Pikachu before Friday to decide who this critter really is! (Oh, we've just found out that Lookatchu only got three votes, not enough to win, sorry pal)

So many tiebreaker votes and so little submissions...anyway, that's settled, then, G-Luke's Wilt-Pikachu takes the identity of Design B from the previous slate home! This very threatening Pikachu teams up with his imaginary friend to become a very threatening set up sweeper with access to Battle Bond, especially with it's modified Zippy Zap from Let's Go Pikachu! (Thank goodness it got nerfed this generation, seeing Ash-Wilt-Pikachu would be a real nightmare!) You'll find it on the database soon!

Name: Scauraub
Type: Bug / Steel
Abilities: Good As Gold
Stats: 90 HP / 90 Atk / 80 Def / 75 SpA / 85 SpD / 80 Spe | BST: 500
Weight: 79 kg

Flavor: It's a razor sharp golden scarab, one of the symbols of an aspect of Ra, the Egyptian Sun God.
Competitive: It's a hazard stacker, lacks the usual utility that most bugs have, but lots of hazards. Good as Gold also ensures it keeps up hazards as well. Physical sets have unique options, while special sets are backed by it's very high BP Make it Rain to do big damage after a Tail Glow boost. Outside of that, Scauraub does have access to Revival Blessing to make support options even more useful.
Caltrop Slice
65 BP | Steel | Physical | 90% Acc | 16 PP | Contact | Slicing

If this move is successful, it sets up a hazard on the opposing side of the field, damaging each opposing Pokemon that switches in. Foes lose 1/32, 1/16, 1/8, 1/4, or 1/2 of their maximum HP, rounded down, based on their weakness to the Steel type; 0.25x, 0.5x, neutral, 2x, or 4x, respectively. Can be removed from the opposing side if any Pokemon uses Tidy Up, or if any opposing Pokemon uses Mortal Spin, Rapid Spin, or Defog successfully, or is hit by Defog.

SUBMISSIONS ARE NOW CLOSED!
And that ends the leak cometh...almost. We may be on holiday and thus unable to access Discord, but that's not going to stop us from starting the voting period on time! Alright, show us the submissions! (And, oddly enough, at least one entry in each one is Bug-type!)

DESIGN A:
1763457182707.png

PalpitoadChamp's Siese
G-Luke's Scauraub
DESIGN B: (Of which both of the entries are Bug-types)

1763457186778.png

PalpitoadChamp's Buppeteer
taliyeet's Slimili
DESIGN C:

1763457191450.png

PalpitoadChamp's Box-Bud
taliyeet's Walc-Tablet

Remember, for this vote, the topmost submission of each design in your vote will count as two votes, and you cannot put your own submission as the top vote. For example, if you were to copy the above text exactly, then Siese, Buppeteer, and Box-Bud would get two votes instead of one. The submissions with the most votes in each design will enter the metagame.
Voting will last until tomorrow, hopefully...GOOD LUCK!

Design A : PalpitoadChamp, G-Luke
Design B : PalpitoadChamp, taliyeet (SV)
Design C : PalpitoadChamp, taliyeet (SV)

I don't like the B/C Palp subs but I'm not abstaining (please don't abstain)

Design A: PalpitoadChamp, G-Luke
Design B: taliyeet, PalpitoadChamp
Design C: taliyeet, PalpitoadChamp

Well, see ya, voting period, wouldn't be ya! So, the votes are cast and the stage is set, let's see who these leaked loonies really are!
1763457182707.png

First up, for Design A, it's PalpitoadChamp's Siese that's getting the trophies today! It's an Electric/Rock type with an amazing 120 attack and good coverage, but nearly all of it's abilities are useless and it has no setup. PalpitoadChamp described it as an Iron Hands equivalent, with a signature move called...Chain Lightning?! Uhhh, Chainion would like to know your location, but it's OK, we'll just call it Lightning Chain instead!
1763833906225.png

The other two winners for this slate are both made by taliyeet, who did a really good job sorting his submissions out this time, not to mention I think this is his first time here! So, Design B, you'll now go under the name of Slimili! This Bug/Dragon defensive pivot either hits really hard with Adaptability boosted STAB, or can surprise everyone with it's signature ability Slimishape, which makes it use Conversion on switch in...oh, and make it resist Stealth Rock, because why not!
1763837382936.png

As for Design C, give three cheers for Walc-Tablet! This Psychic/Electric type's Thunder Claw hits really hard, and it can serve as a bulky pivot that can set up using Bulk Up and Anger Shell. The beast was designed to take care of those problematic Water-types, especially the Whale Jockey! But...you're saying there's more than one Walc form? Hmmmm, this gives me an idea in the future....
....Phew, no-one leaked them this time. Anyway, thank you for voting! You'll find Siese, Slimili, and Walc-Tablet in the database soon...the next slate will be starting sooner than that, however...and believe me, you're gonna LOVE this next one!

SLATE 16: BLAST FROM THE (BOOTLEG) PAST
“If I were to talk about Pokémon Diamond and Jade, you probably know what’ll happen next, and I’ll tell you the horrifying truth. Just imagine the looks on the player’s faces when they started up the copy of the game they brought from the local car boot…”Hey, another new Pokémon game for the Gameboy Color! I can’t wait to see what new Pokémon are in here! And hey, the Pokémon are actually following me in the overworld! ……Wait, did the Pokémon always talk? Why do I only get one starter? Why are trees suddenly teleporters? Why are the Pokémon giving me their phone numbers? Why are they selling guns in an item shop? Were these words even approved for video game use? Am I ever going to find the box mascot? Why is the story talking about this huge black and red monster that’s escaped from a research lab? And…WHAT DO I MAKE OF “SOME POINTS OF 42 LOST!”?!” Eventually, it came to fruition: Pokémon Diamond and Jade were not Pokémon games, but rather badly translated versions of Keitai Denjū Telefang Power and Speed versions. It wasn’t a total loss, however, as those games were never released in English, and would not get a fan translation for a couple of years after the bootlegs were first found. They were but the first of many Pokémon bootleg games to come, long before the existence of ROM hacks…and yet, the producer of this has yet to be found to this day. But I bet you should have probably seen the reaction from the player who found out that the box mascot of Pokémon Jade (AKA Telefang Speed) was not a Pokémon at all, but rather a poor edit of the forest spirit from the hit 1997 Japanese film Princess Mononoke!”
But not today! It's finally time after so many years to decide who those, uhhhh, abominations the bootleggers cooked up are for once and for all! And for that, we need your good ol' submissions! So, who needs an identity so badly, you mask ask? Let's find out, shall we?
DESIGN A, THE BOX MASCOT OF POKÉMON DIAMOND: (THE BOOTLEG ONE: DON'T WORRY, POKÉMON JADE, YOU'LL GET YOUR SHOT LATER!)
1764060589949.png

DESIGN B, THE FOURTH BOSS FROM POCKET MONSTER (GENESIS):
1764060635341.png

DESIGN C, A RANDOM ENEMY FROM POCKET MONSTER (GAMEBOY) WHO WE'RE CERTAIN IS NOT A STOLEN KOOPA TROOPA:
1764060777797.png

You have until Monday the 1st Tuesday the 2nd of December to cast your submissions....GOOD LUCK! And remember, don't forget to join the Discord Server if you haven't already! (https://discord.gg/NYPkm6EyJj)

Name: ???apoorT apooK???

Flavor: There has been an unexpected error on the program.
Competitive: Really strong Adaptability normal, defensive IronPress user, or Protean sweeper. Suffers from subpar special bulk and bad speed.

Well, I'm glad there's at least one submission for these bootleg blasts from the past, but the vote must always happen...speaking of a vote, this is your reminder that you have until Monday to cast your submissions! Figure out who these three unnamed pirates really are before it's too late...
1764289207578.png

Well, here it is, folks, judgement day! Except...we've only got one submission so far, and it's from PalpitoadChamp. We really don't want another slate 6 situation, so with great regret, just like slate 10, we must delay the deadline...the new one is tomorrow, Tuesday the 2nd of December! Get your submissions in before it's too late!
1764289207578.png
1764290316749.png
1764291737138.png

SUBMISSIONS ARE NOW CLOSED!
Well...a day has passed, and we've still got no submissions....so, if it doesn't seem like we're getting any more, let's just wrap this up and move on. It seems like no-one is willing to submit an identity for a bootleg they probably already know...well, maybe except one. Well played, sir, PalpitoadChamp, you were the only person who actually submitted something to this slate, meaning all three of your designs win by default, no votes asked! Huh...deja vu! So, let's see what he made...

1764289207578.png

First up, the true identity of Design A, the box mascot of Pokémon Diamond's bootleg, is....Super Anchoar! This snake pirate is a Water/Dragon type that can set up Dragon Dance to serve as a sweeper, and has access to Rapid Spin! Also, think twice before bringing a Fighting type to it because it knows Prismatic Laser. Hmmmm, I can feel this Pokémon (Or Denju electric monster?) trying to lead a pirate squadron onto Ion Liz Island...Noisy o, you better be prepared!
1764290316749.png

Up next, Design B, the fourth boss from Pocket Monsters (Genesis), is known as Pangiolin! This Normal/Rock type's main saving grace is the fact it has access to Fire Blast and a frightening 140 Special Attack, which it can power up by switching into a Fire move and absorbing it with Flash Fire. It also has your usual utility toolkit: Stealth Rock, Rapid Spin, Spikes, U-Turn, Toxic Spikes, and, surprisingly, Sing, to name a few!
1764291737138.png

And for Design C, this regular enemy from Pocket Monsters (Gameboy) was actually...hmmm, how does one pronounce ???apoorT apooK??? This Normal-type's main focus is the fact it has an unnerfed Protean on it's belt, allowing it to get STAB no matter what, but can also serve as a powerful Adaptability sweeper, but just like a real turtle, the thing's awfully slow, and sucks at the special category too! (140 Defence and 89 Special Defence? Are you sure?) It also has access to special guest star move Goomba Stomp from Iron Fist: My, it would be a shame if there were someone in this metagame called Goomba...
You'll find Super Anchoar, Pangiolin, and ???apoorT apooK??? in the database soon...the next slate will begin sooner than that, however! And please...actually submit something to that next slate this time.

SLATE 17: YOU CALL THIS A TERALEAK?!
“Whilst we’re on the topic of finally giving existing designs their identity…I’m pretty sure some of you know about the TeraLeak that occurred last year. Finding the data for the Spaceworld 1997 demo online and learning that not only we finally got to see what Kurusu evolved into after many years, but also that Generation 2 would have probably looked very different, was only the toppings compared to the full course! Thousands upon ten thousands of prototype sprites and gameplay mechanics were finally revealed to the world, and among them included so many old Pokémon that now lie in the Cutting Room Floor, from Pokémon Blue backsprites that originally featured a very different 151 Pokémon, to so many new Pokémon for Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire, rejected solely due to design issues. We even got a few concept artworks for Pokémon from Kalos that never came to be, and a Pokémon in Black and White who was made just for testing purposes. (And let’s not forget about Karrablast and Shelmet’s original evolutions!) But we wonder…if we never saw any of these unused designs during the reveal period, maybe the Pokémon Company has learnt since Spaceworld 1997, even though they never got hacked there. Maybe, they might have already finished the game earlier than it’s intended release date…and slowly leaking out the details prior to the release to get us all with that important word…HYPE.”
So, for this slate, we finally allow you to decide the identities of the ones who didn't deserve to be thrown out of the window in favor of someone like, say, Morpeko or Stantler! Out of the thousands of unused designs that could be entered for this slate, we hand picked three to join the metagame once you decide their roles....so, here they are!
DESIGN A:

DESIGN B:
