How much goes 64 KB into 4 GB? What's that for a improvement, and maybe one could say me it for CPU too, i need it for a referat tomorrow.

64Kb to 4Gb? Which computer uses 64Kb ram anymore? But anyway, 4Gb = 4*1024 Mb = 4*1024*1024 Kb. So, 4*1024*1024 / 64.

So thats an order of 65536 improvement. Though I don't think any system using 64Kb memory can support 1Mb improvement let alone 4Gb.

I just wanted to know the improvement. Of course no system has 64 KB RAM today :D. And from 1,020 MHz to 2x 2,0 GHz? Maybe difficult to calculate..

Processor improvement probably cannot be calculated this way, without doing actual tests. A processor with a clock rate of 2Ghz is only twice as fast as one with 1Ghz if both belong to the same family of processors, otherwise, it depends on their architectures.

Why not calculate the improvement from 1 KB to 4 GB RAM? The ZX81 machine had 1KB of RAM, of which 0.3KB were usable. I had an ATARI 600XL which had 16KB RAM. My dad actually bought a 24KB RAM expansion, cranking it up to an astonishing 40KB. The RAM expansion was bigger than a Nintendo DS!
