Doug: Great admin... or GREATEST admin?

Anyway, interesting stats. Stunky being #9 was simultaneously surprising and not surprising, given just how astoundingly mediocre it is outside of "countering" Misdreavus.

Also, Wynaut being #24? You guys gotta give it a little more credit than that! It reliably shuts down Croagunk and Machop, the two top Pokemon besides brokedreavus and lamegar.

Eh, sorry for posting about LC in the CAP Forum

ANyways, Phanpy looks excellent at the lead spot no 6, however I think it should be there instead of Onix, who is quite........mediocre...... Phanpy can atleast stay on till lategame and revenge a stray Gligar or Taillow with an Ice Shard

Also I agree, Stunky from nowehere to no 9 is extremely proving of the brokeneness of NP Missy.

Edit: X-Act: TBH, you can do it if you want, nad it would be fun to see what makes the listy and what doesnt, but there is no LC UU so it shouldnt really make a competitive difference

Only helpful thing I see is new players getting to know what stuff is common in the LC Metagame

Code:
| 1 | Misdreavus | 864 | 48.81 |
 | 2 | Gligar | 680 | 38.42 |
| 3 | Croagunk | 626 | 35.37 |
Missy has always been better than Gligar, and it's about time people realized it. Especially since it doesn't need Nasty Plot to be good either, in fact I like Sneak sets better still.
Code:
| Misdreavus | Move | Shadow Sneak | 64.0 |
| Misdreavus | Move | Nasty Plot | 44.2 |
So do you guys I guess :)

Croagunk usage is going up steadily as well for obvious reasons imo. The ability to basically dismantle any set-up sweeper (minus Dratini) makes Croagunk a huge huge asset to any team, not to mention completely shutting down Rain Dance on his own.
Code:
| 9 | Stunky | 351 | 19.83 |
I'm honestly surprised Stunky didn't overtake Pokemon like Munchlax. It's the perfect Missy counter, and guess who's #1: Missy. I'm really happy to see this usage go up though, severely underrated mon (I wrote about it in my blog a while ago).
Code:
| 4 | Machop | 441 | 24.92 |
| 15 | Mankey | 239 | 13.50 |
Machop's time has finally come as the "better fighter" I guess. Though, with Wynaut usage rising, and Aron's presence, I think I'd prefer to use Mankey as a Scarfer. Though, LeadChop is definitely good.
Code:
| 13 | Dratini | 243 | 13.73 |
| 56 | Bagon | 43 | 2.43 |
That's sort of sad. Bagon isn't THAT bad, even if its 100% outclassed as a DDer, it's still an awesome Choice Scarfer.
Code:
| 17 | Aron | 182 | 10.28 |
Slightly disappointing, but it's basically what happened with Aggron in UU. It's usage rose, but not THAT much.
Code:
| 53 | Krabby | 46 | 2.60 |
| 49 | Totodile | 51 | 2.88 |
| 69 | Barboach | 24 | 1.36 |
| 73 | Corphish | 20 | 1.13 |
These were some of the most hyped mons in LC. For good reason too, but they are, for the most part, too easy to shut down with Pokemon like Croagunk, Missy, and Machop who occupy slots in the top 5. Barboach and Krabby are still really good though imo.

Code:
| 2 | Kabuto | 151 | 8.53 |
| 3 | Onix | 110 | 6.21 |
First off: WTF. I didn't know people other than me and GK used this, but I guess why not? Kabuto is great at beating Pokemon like Meowth (unless Hypnosis hits like twice), luring out Croagunk, and setting up Stealth Rock in the process. Not to mention it doesn't let Pokemon like Dratini or Aron set up like Meowth / Houndour / whatever does. Onix is also surprising ^_^. SR + Boom can never go wrong though.
Code:
| 6 | Phanpy | 98 | 5.54 |
Best lead by far IMO, should be #2. It beats like every lead in the top 10.

Thanks Doug!!!

Good stuff doug. I'm really, really, really shocked with Stunky being #9. I didn't expect it to sky rocket that high. Stunky really is underrated like Heysup said.

Code:
| 14 | Mantyke | 242 | 13.67 |
I think this is interested to see that Mantyke is on 14 rank and Stunky on 9.

Thanks for the Stats Doug ^^!

I think this is interested to see that Mantyke is on 14 rank and Stunky on 9.

Thanks for the Stats Doug ^^!
Well, it shouldn't be surprising at all. Stunky is the best bet against the pokemon used in over 48% of battles and Mantyke is stopped fairley well by Gunk with the combo of Fake Out and Sucker Punch, and his ability helps forcing tyke to either run hp flying or try to Ice Beam it while PP stalling the punches.

New OU list for Little Cup y/n?
If its not too much trouble, yes please.

1 | Misdreavus
Rose from being in 43% to 48% of all battles, still a good 7% below Kyorge levels, but 16% above Scizor levels. Nasty Plot was a massive bonus, but the metagame is really preparing for this threat as much as it can.
2 | Gligar
Still comfortably in no. 2, but relatively slightly less common than last month. The stats seem to show a drift towards diversification of movesets, and a massive drop in Night Slash use. AA, SD, and RP are all rising.
3 | Croagunk +1
Quite a large growth in the Croagunk population, again with a diversification of movesets. The most common moves are becoming less popular and the less common ones are on the rise.
4 | Machop +1
Pretty stable movesets, slight drop in % use.
5 | Munchlax +2
Pretty stable movesets (other than more CB sets and Protect dropping below Fire Punch for last slot choice), slight drop in % use.
6 | Gastly +6
Surprising to see such a boost to another ghost with Missy use so high. Explosion, Sludge Bomb, and Scarf are rarer, but Sub sets are much more common and Sucker Punch has jumped from 5% to 26% on something with 35 base attack. Priority is everything.
7 | Elekid -1
Few shifts in common moves, but nothing shocking. Droped 4% in relative use.
8 | Meowth +8
Big rise, taking the no. 1 lead spot by storm with well over double the use of its nearest rival. Hypnosis is slightly less common (though still the most common 4th move by far) with Rain Dance and Return picking up the slack.
9 | Stunky +45
heh.. well this is what is stopping Missy use from exploding, and the reason Houndour took such a hit. Solid defenses, good type to slow missy and all the important moves.. Still without Missy it would drop down quite a way.
10 | Houndour -7
We can safely blame competition from the bulkier (and non fighting weak) Stunky for much of this fall.
11 | Bronzor +4
Finally Bronzor is picking up better. A nice boost in the numbers of Rain and Screen 'Zor (as well as Heatproof, over 10% now), as well as more TR and Sun Bronzors is great to see. People are using it to set up support, not try and wall. Also nice to see Flash Cannon tie Gyro Ball for the first time, and Psychic on 40% of Bronzor.
12 | Diglett -3
It seems Choice Scarf Digy is back in fashion, jumping to 23%. Sucker Punch and HP Ice are falling, but Shadow Claw and Rock Slide are on the rise.
13 | Dratini +16
All thanks to Extremespeed which really turns DD Tini into a major threat. Surprised that only 74% run it, but still. Agilitini and other sets will continue to function. Almost all now run LO for extra KOs, the loss of taking a hit is less important when you can 1KO so many of the faster things.
14 | Mantyke -3
Tyke is still great, but can't fit on every team and can be seriously harmed by some of the Pokemon who have risen a lot (Stunky, Tini, Croagunk).
15 | Mankey +20
Interesting how both this and Machop rose together, set stayed pretty much the same (almost all scarfed) with a few more EQ/TP in the last slot.
16 | Kabuto -2
Rain seems to have lost out a bit this month.
17 | Aron +109 (no use last month)
Adding 50% more power to a main STAb move can't hurt, and its done wonders for Aron. Finally its not too easy to switch into, and will try to sweep with RP most of the time.
18 | Magnemite +12
Big changes to common sets as well as big rises, no more specialised Sub+Rise Magnemite (Mag Rise went from 49% to 5%, Sub from 49% to off the stats). Way more Scarf sets (75% compared to 11%). However some silly things are annoying, like the 46% running Toxic and the 7% running Sonicboom...
19 | Drifloon -9
meh.. the other ghosts win but floon falls, what a world... At least Hypnosis, Explosion, and berries (floon's main points over other ghosts) are going up.
20 | Buizel
After 17 Pokemon in a row jumping around, we find one that has simply held its spot.

Voltorb, Staryu, Magby, Porygon, and Slowpoke all lost their places in the top 20.
