Current Ladder.png

Hello everyone welcome to my RMT, this is the first RMT I have ever made for a stall team. I originally built this team as a meme, This team is fully OU Legal with no legendary pokemon, and the team completely forgoes the use of heavy duty boosts which is usually a requirement on any stall team. However after play a few ladder games with this team I realized I was cooking with this team. I continued to use this team on ladder until I peaked ladder with an elo of 2003 at the time of writing this.
Without further ado here is the team.

:Iron Treads: :Clodsire:
I originally started with the core of Iron Treads + Clodsire with the idea being that iron treads can provide the team a secondary check to miraidon so that way clodsire doesn't get worn down by miraion over the course of a game. Iron treads also provides the team with valuable rapid spin support allowing me to run items other than heavy duty boots on my pokemon
:Iron Treads: :Clodsire: :Gliscor:
I then added gliscor mostly as a knock off absorber , it's ability check to common physical threats, and as a stallbreaker for the stall v stall matchups.
:Iron Treads: :Clodsire: :Gliscor: :Alomomola: :Skeledirge:
I then added to core of Alomomola + Skeledire to blanket check most of the physical attackers in the metagame, The combination of these 2 pokemon are able to wall even the most threatening physical attackers such as Scale Shot Koraidon.
:Iron Treads: :Clodsire: :Gliscor: :Alomomola: :Skeledirge: :Mandibuzz:
I finally finished the team off with mandibuzz to provide the team with a calyrex-shadow check and as a secondary hazard removal with defog.

:sv/Iron Treads:

Iron Treads @ Leftovers
Ability: Quark Drive
Tera Type: Normal
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpD / 4 Spe
Careful Nature
IVs: 16 Def
- Rapid Spin
- Knock Off
- Earthquake
- Stealth Rock

Iron treads is the main pokemon I built this team around, With the ability to reliably check any miraidon set that doesn't have overheat and the ability to set up stealth rocks and remove hazards with rapid spin this pokemon provided tons of utility to the team which allowed me to even forgo the need to run heavy duty boots on any of the pokemon on this team. Knock off allows me to remove the items of pokemon that switch which is very useful on a hazard stack team in a metagame where almost everything runs heavy duty boots, knock also prevents spinblocking attempts from calyrex shadow and tera ghost sucidide leads like deoxy-speed. Earthquake is treads main way of dealing damage back to miriadon, earthquake is able to solidly 2hko miraidon and is able to deal solid damage against most switchins coming off of a base 112 attack stat. Leftovers provides iron treads with passive healing allowing it to gain health back after taking miraidon draco meteors and u-turns, this allows you to keep yours treads healthy and prevents it from getting worn down over the course of a game. Tera Normal Allows you to beat calyrex-shadow in a pinch in case you lost mandibuzz or the calyrex set happens to be one that mandibuzz can't beat by itself. Finally I am purposefully running lower defense IVs so that way treads gets a boost to its special defense rather than its defense stat to allow it to more reliably check miradon.
:sv/Clodsire:
Clodsire @ Leftovers
Ability: Water Absorb
Tera Type: Steel
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD
Careful Nature
- Spikes
- Earthquake
- Recover
- Toxic

Clodsire is on the team as as a check to common special attackers such as Miraidon, Kyorge, and Calm Mind Arc Fairy. Clodsire also
provides hazard support with spikes which is very good in a metagame where almost no one runs hazard removal. And toxic allows clodsire
to make progress against opposing teams. Earthquake allows clodsire to 2hko miraidon deals solid chip damage against switch-ins.
I chose water absorb over unaware on clodsire because it allows it to more reliably check Miraidon because it doesn't ignore the drops
from Draco Meteor and also Because it allows clodsire to reliably check kyogre. Finally I choose tera steel to allow clodsire to
check specs kyogre and miraidon in a pinch.

:sv/Gliscor:
Gliscor @ Toxic Orb
Ability: Poison Heal
Tera Type: Rock
EVs: 244 HP / 252 Def / 12 Spe
Impish Nature
- Toxic
- Taunt
- Knock Off
- Protect

Glisor is on the team mostly as a knock off absorber and as a stallbreaker and a check to a few important pokemon such as dragon dance Arceus Ground and Ho-Oh. The combination of Taunt + Knock Off + Toxic Allows gliscor to make progress against opposing stall teams
by removing their heavy duty boots and putting their pokemon on a timer with toxic. Protect allows gliscor to get a free turn to heal
back an additional 12% from toxic heal and is very useful at scouting what moves choice locked pokemon are going to use. Tera Rock Allows Gliscor to check Offensive Ho-Oh which is one of the most common stall breakers in the metagame. finally 244 evs allows gliscor to
maximize healing from toxic heal, I put the remaining 12 evs in speed to allow gliscor to outspeed opposing gliscor.

:SV/Alomomola:
Alomomola @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Regenerator
Tera Type: Fairy
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Relaxed Nature
- Play Rough
- Flip Turn
- Wish
- Protect
Alomomola provides the team the team with tons of utility as a regenerator slow pivtot with wish. Alomomola is also able to check various physical threats such as Koraidon, Arcues-Normal, Zacian, and Arceus Ground. Protect allows Alomomola to a free turn to scout choice locked pokemon and to protect itself so it can regain health from wish. Play rough allows Alomomola to 2hko koraidon and really doesn't do much against anything else in the meta. I really love this pokemon in combination with skeledirge as I feel like the 2 pokemon together are nearly unbreakable on the physical side, Wish + Slow Pivoting allows you to easily get Dirge after an opposing pokemon sets up which can allow Skeledirge to more reliably check threats such as sd scale shot Kora. Rocky helmet allows alomomola to punish contact moves like u-turn with chip damage and Tera Fairy allows you to block outrages and scale shots from koraidon in a pinch if you have no other options and boosts the damage of play rough if you ever need it.

:SV/Mandibuzz:
Mandibuzz @ Leftovers
Ability: Overcoat
Tera Type: Poison
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Def / 252 SpD
Careful Nature
- Knock Off
- Roost
- Toxic
- Defog
Mandibuzz is on the team as the team's main check to calyrex shadow and as a secondary hazard remover with defog. Knock off allows mandibuzz to OHKO calyrex-shadow and the combinaiton of toxic+ knock off allows madibuzz to make progress against passive pokemon like Ho-Oh. Tera Poison allows Mandibuzz to beat Draining kiss variants of Calyrex Shadow although it will still struggle if the calyrex is running taunt. Finally Leftovers provides mandibuzz with passive healing which significantly increases its longevity over the course of a game.

:sv/skeledirge:
Skeledirge @ Leftovers
Ability: Unaware
Tera Type: Fairy
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Torch Song
- Will-O-Wisp
- Hex
- Slack Off

Skeledirge is on the team as an unaware wall that beats most common physical threats in the metagame. Will-O-Wisp allows Skeledirge to permanently weaken physical threats which makes them very trivial to deal with and with Torch Song boosting Special attack every time you use it skeledirge can actually deal surprising amounts of damage, especially with hex against statused opponents. Tera Fairy allows
Skeledirge to beat outrage and scale shot Koraidon in a pinch. And as mentioned earlier this pokemon pairs really well with alomomola,
Skeledirge can switch in on the turn after Mola uses wish to help it come in on sd kora at full health. Alomomola also loves the burns
that Dirge provides so it can use the weakened physical attackers as points of entry of wish passing.

Threatlist

:sv/Miraidon: :Choice specs:
Choice specs overheat miraidon is probably one of the worst matchups possible for this team, there is counterplay if you toxic it
early and set up hazards but you don't get your reads correct you will be in for a bad time.
:sv/Kyurem-White:
this pokemon beats all of the special walls on this team and will require you to use a tera on clodsire to beat it
:sv/Arceus-Ground:
Although Physical Grounceus is manageable with the combination of gliscor and alomomola, Calm mind Arceus ground is a matchup where you
are simply better off just clicking the x button as there is simply no way to beat it with this team

:sv/Gliscor:
I have lost to sd gliscor way too many times, I simply have no way to make reliable progress against this pokemon and after all my
pokemon get either knocked off or toxic'd
:sv/Calyrex-Shadow:
Although Most calyrex shadow sets are checked by mandibuzz, Nasty Plot Tera Fairy Taunt Dkiss Calyrex-shadow still reliably breaks
through Mandibuzz and the rest of this team, I am putting on the threats list even though this is the only calyrex set that beats this
team.

I am really bad about saving replays so I don't have the many good ones so here are the few I have

Thank you for reading my rmt, If you want to give the team a whirl I have the importable above. Even thoug I don't usually play stall
I have had a lot of fun learing how to play stall in gen 9 and building wacky stall teams like this along the way. I still don't consider
myself a stall expert so if you have any suggestions for improvements feel free to post them.
