Now that it's over, I need to air something out. I subbed out because I rolled scum. At the time I told myself I was just losing motivation to post because IRL was getting busy; that was and is true, but it's rarely gotten in the way of these games before, and in reality I just did not want to play scum again. This was an unacceptable decision and it forced Celever to contaminate his game with a swap, which I wouldn't wish on anyone. I will not be signing up for future NOCs until I'm prepared for any alignment.
At least hal had fun

this was a great game. different and interesting set up and both sides played hard.
i'll be honest i don't really understand the complaints. we got some mafia but not at a fast enough rate. the game was tough and they deserved to win. i do get that sometimes people do frustrating things (i'm guilty of doing so and of complaining of others) but I think a lot of the feedback is too harsh. people just need to accept that this is not an uber serious mafia only website. that's not our niche. I personally don't play on here because I expect extremely serious mafia play at all times and I think that goes for pretty much everyone. all I ask is that people are relatively committed and try. and we succeeded in doing that this game. that's a W in my book
yes we can always be getting better at mafia (or at anything in life. it's always good to aspire towards improvement). I have a number of things I wish I could have done better and will strive to do so in the future. but the big picture is that we had a competitive fair & balanced game with people trying hard and I assume also having fun for most part which is really all we (or at least I) are trying to accomplish. let's go smogogn woo!
