Ubers Lucario [GP 3/3]

Overview
########
Lucario is a frightening offensive threat; when Mega-Evolved, it sports 145/140 base offenses, as well as a very good base 112 Speed. But perhaps most deadly of all, it has one of the best offensive abilities in the game: Adaptability. This, combined with an excellent offensive movepool and multiple high-powered STAB moves, allows it to tear through any teams that are unprepared to handle it — so much so that its Mega Stone has been banned from OU. However, Lucario is far from perfect. It is very frail, being unable to take many hits, and as such, it has difficulty switching and staying in. Additionally, it has base 90 Speed, subpar offenses, and less useful abilities before Mega Evolving, allowing it to be easily taken down before it can do much. As such, the Mega Stone is practically a necessity. Despite these weaknesses, Lucario can still be an extremely destructive offensive force if played well and to its strengths.

All-Out Physical Attacker

name: All-Out Physical Attacker
move 1: Close Combat
move 2: Iron Tail
move 3: Bullet Punch
move 4: Stone Edge / Swords Dance / Ice Punch
ability: Justified
item: Lucarionite
nature: Jolly

Moves
========
Lucario's power partly comes from its access to Close Combat, a very powerful move. Coupled with its impressive offenses, as well as the Adaptability boost, Close Combat can easily OHKO or 2HKO almost anything that doesn't resist it and still do respectable amounts of damage to anything that does. Iron Tail, despite its fairly unreliable accuracy, is a necessity on Lucario's moveset. Without it, Lucario struggles to take out bulkier Fairy-types, like Fairy Arceus and Xerneas, that can stomach Bullet Punch; Iron Tail also deals major damage to the Fighting-immune Ghost-types, as well as Flying-, Psychic- or Bug-types that resist Close Combat. Bullet Punch is Lucario's best bet for a priority move; the Adaptability boost allows it to revenge kill important threats like weakened Geomancy Xerneas and finish off any Pokemon that might outspeed it. The last slot is used for any extra coverage that Lucario may need. Stone Edge hits Ho-Oh, OHKOing all but the most defensive of sets. Swords Dance boosts Lucario's offensive capabilities sky-high, allowing it to sweep and break walls much easier while tearing through Pokemon that might resist its STABs. However, keep in mind that Swords Dance is extremely hard to set up due to Lucario's severe lack of bulk. The last option, Ice Punch, hits Gliscor and Landorus-T for 4x effectiveness, both of which resist Close Combat; it also accurately hits Pokemon like Giratina, Giratina-O, and Lugia for super effective damage.

Set Details
========
The EVs maximize offensive power and Speed, as Lucario is a glass cannon that cannot take many hits. A Jolly nature is almost always preferred, as outspeeding all Pokemon is crucial, but an Adamant nature is usable on teams with Sticky Web support. Keep in mind, however, that Yveltal is unaffected by Sticky Web and outspeeds Adamant Lucario when running maximum Speed and a boosting nature. Finally, Lucario must use Lucarionite to maximize its otherwise lackluster Speed and offensive power. For the pre-Mega ability, choose Justified, as it allows Lucario to take a resisted Dark-type hit and further boost its attack, giving it even more offensive power.

Usage Tips
========
Lucario functions best as a wallbreaker and late-game cleaner. Its phenomenal offenses allow it to easily break through many walls, like Fairy Arceus or Blissey, both of which are generally OHKOed by its super effective STAB moves. Keep in mind, however, that 252 HP Fairy Arceus takes a minimum of only about 90% from Iron Tail. Lucario can also take out Extreme Killer Arceus with Close Combat, unless Arceus is already at +4 Attack, at which point it could use Extreme Speed for the OHKO; this is excellent if the Arceus is a bulkier, slower set, or if you have Sticky Web up, since Arceus can no longer outspeed and KO Lucario with Earthquake or Overheat. Additionally, it is an excellent Pokemon for offensively pressuring Defoggers, most of which will take massive damage if they use Defog on Lucario. However, Lucario cannot take many hits. You must take care in using it, as most super effective or even strong neutral moves will most likely take down Lucario. Additionally, Lucario detests status. Its Steel typing means it is immune to Toxic, but burns and paralysis both cripple its offensive presence. Its frailty means that it has difficulty switching into battle in the first place. As such, Lucario will typically only come in if given a free switch-in. Otherwise, it may end up taking a large amount of damage or getting statused, rendering Lucario nearly useless.

Team Options
========
Lucario loves Sticky Web. When Sticky Web is up on the other side of the field, Lucario is able to more comfortably outspeed essentially everything, including Mewtwo, Darkrai, and Choice Scarf users such as Kyogre and Zekrom, allowing it to stay in and dish out huge damage to a wider variety of Pokemon. In addition, the Speed drop on the opponent allows Lucario to check a variety of offensive threats like Extreme Killer Arceus and Choice Scarf Xerneas, both of which would otherwise outspeed and easily OHKO Lucario. Stealth Rock is also very helpful as it does huge damage to Ho-Oh, which is extremely helpful if Lucario is not running Stone Edge; it also breaks Focus Sashes and punishing the inevitable switches that Lucario forces. Shuckle is an excellent teammate, as it is practically guaranteed to get off a Sticky Web at the beginning of the match, while also being able to use Stealth Rock. Landorus-T can set up Stealth Rock as well; it also has excellent type synergy with Lucario and can help it switch in safely with U-turn. Additionally, Lucario is an excellent Pokemon at keeping hazards up — it provides huge amounts of offensive pressure against Defoggers such as Arceus without Will-O-Wisp, forcing the opponent to either take huge amounts of damage while Defogging, or to not use Defog at all.

Bulky Fairy-types also provide good synergy with Lucario, as they can remove many of their checks. Xerneas in particular, is an excellent partner — Lucario is immune to Poison and resists Steel, while Xerneas also resists Lucario's Fighting-type weakness, and can thus switch into many Pokemon that threaten Lucario. Sylveon serves a similar role while also filling the role of a Wish passer, but with less physical bulk. Both of these Pokemon also have the added bonus of having access to Aromatherapy and Heal Bell respectively, helping Lucario shrug off any burns or paralysis.

Good switch-ins to Pokemon that can threaten Lucario are also very useful, such a Flying-type Pokemon to take Ground-type attacks. Specifically, Yveltal is an excellent teammate: it can come in on Ground-types and dish out huge damage to them with Dark Pulse, while also easily taking care of Lugia and Giratina, both of which wall Lucario. Furthermore, Lucario 4x resists Yveltal's Rock-type weakness, and offensively pressures Fairy-type Pokemon that would otherwise threaten Yveltal. Landorus-T is once again an excellent partner, resisting Fighting-type moves, being immune to Ground-type moves, and also reducing the damage of physical attackers (with Intimidate) that might otherwise pose a danger to Lucario.

Grass Arceus is another excellent teammate, sporting the bulk and typing to take on any
Ground-type moves that may threaten Lucario; in particular, it can check Groudon, which easily sponges unboosted hits from Mega Lucario and KOes back with Earthquake. Grass Arceus can also switch into Choice Scarf Kyogre, which can outspeed and OHKO Lucario, while at the same time forcing out these threats with a Grass Knot or Judgment. Giratina-O can easily take any Ground- or Fire-type attacks aimed at Lucario with its decent bulk, while also providing a great deal of offensive pressure.

Gothitelle (and to a lesser extent, Wobbuffet) can trap with Shadow Tag and take out some Pokemon that would otherwise give Lucario some trouble, like support Arceus formes with Will-O-Wisp. It also does very well on a Sticky Web team, where it can outspeed most support Arceus sets, and take them out with almost 100% success, bar Ghost and Dark Arceus.

Volt Switch and U-turn users are also excellent at safely bringing in Lucario, giving it more chances to come into battle and dish out damage, which it has trouble doing otherwise with its lack of bulk. Scizor in particular is a good candidate for this job, as it possesses a slow U-turn, allowing Lucario to come in after the opponent has moved. Furthermore, Lucario can threaten the Steel-type Pokemon that Scizor would otherwise usually have trouble with (except for Aegislash). Landorus-T also fits the role of U-turn user well, forcing a number of switches with its Intimidate ability and various immunities.

Other Options
########
Extreme Speed can be used over Bullet Punch as a priority move, as it does the same damage but hits different targets, as well as having a higher priority. Bullet Punch is necessary for hitting Mega Gengar and finishing off other Ghost-types, whereas Extreme Speed can more easily finish off those that resist Steel-type attacks, such as Choice Scarf Kyogre or Zekrom. A specially oriented set is also possible, using Lucario's very good special movepool (with moves like Aura Sphere, Flash Cannon, Vacuum Wave, and Nasty Plot), but this is generally much weaker than its physical set, as its special moves generally do less damage (e.g. Aura Sphere has 80 Base Power vs. Close Combat's 120, and Flash Cannon has 80 Base Power vs. Iron Tail's 100). Crunch is usable in Lucario's last moveslot, as it is the best way to hit Aegislash, and it is also a more accurate move to hit Ghost-types. However, be wary of using Crunch on Aegislash, as it can use King's Shield, halving Lucario's Attack. Finally, Agility can be used in the late-game when all Lucario's checks or counters are down, allowing it to outspeed basically anything in the metagame, including Choice Scarf users — at +2 speed, nothing outspeeds it unboosted. In addition, it resists all common forms of priority (Bullet Punch, Extreme Speed and Sucker Punch). This, coupled with its incredible offensive power, allows Lucario to clean very well after a single Agility boost.

Checks & Counters
########

**Support Arceus**: Any Arceus formes that aren't weak to Fighting- or Steel-type attacks (that also carry Will-O-Wisp) can check Lucario by burning it, and these can also heal off any damage with Recover. Ghost Arceus is immune to Lucario's main STAB move, forcing it to use its weaker and less accurate Iron Tail. However, since most support Arceus sets do not run maximum Speed, Lucario often outspeeds them, meaning they usually cannot switch in.

**Giratina**: Giratina can survive any unboosted hit from Lucario and burn it with Will-O-Wisp or simply phaze it out with Roar or Dragon Tail.

**Lugia**: Even without Multiscale, Lugia can survive any unboosted hit from Lucario, Roost / Recover off any damage taken, and phaze Lucario out with Whirlwind or Dragon Tail. It also 2HKOes Lucario most of the time with Aeroblast or Psychic and can possibly even OHKO Lucario after it has used Close Combat a few times.

**Bulky Ground-types**: Groudon, Landorus-T, and other bulky Ground-types can survive any unboosted attack, including Ice Punch, and OHKO Lucario back with a STAB Ground-type move. Landorus-T in particular can ruin Lucario's day by dropping its Attack on the switch-in with Intimidate, while resisting its main STAB move, Close Combat.

**Revenge killers**: Many revenge killers that can outspeed Lucario and survive a Bullet Punch can easily OHKO it if given a free switch-in. These include Choice Scarf Kyogre, Palkia, and Zekrom, Blaziken with Protect, and Mega Mewtwo X.

**Ho-Oh**: If Stealth Rock is not up and Ho-Oh is not weakened, Lucario cannot kill Ho-Oh without the aid of Attack boosts or Stone Edge, whereas Ho-oh can easily OHKO it with Sacred Fire.

**Aegislash**: Aegislash is immune to Close Combat and resists Lucario's Steel-type STAB moves as well as many of its other usual coverage options, effectively walling any Lucario lacking Crunch. However, without Shadow Ball, the standard Ubers Aegislash cannot do much back, as using Shadow Sneak puts it into its vulnerable Blade forme before Lucario attacks.

Okay couple things to start:

-Ditch Rock Slide (too weak) and move ESpeed to OO (BP is necessary for Xerneas/Gengar).

-Slash Ice Punch with Stone Edge, it lets you murder Lando-T/Gliscor who are otherwise solid checks and it doesn't miss against Giratina-O. Ho-Oh can't switch into MLucario if SR is up so make sure to stress that you need to keep SR up reliably without Stone Edge.

-Don't even mention LO in OO, Luke needs Mega Stone to be viable. Mention in OV that MLucario is unviable without its Mega Stone so there is some legit opportunity cost.

-Mention that its an exceptional mon on Web teams - it checks MKhan/EKiller/Xerneas well and can severely damage most Defoggers/clean late game with CC.

-Yveltal is a good partner, it can come on Tina/Lugia/Defensive Grounds. Luke provides TTar switchin and x4 Rock resist + it threatens Fairies.

Counters should be:
-Landorus-T/Gliscor/Groudon
-Giratina formes
-Lugia
-WoW support Arceus not weak to Steel or Fighting (most notably Ghost)
-Ho-Oh (if no Stone Edge)
-Aegislash (rare but walls all sets without Dark moves which Luke usually can't fit)
-Faster RKers that can take BP (Scarf Kyogre/Krom, Blaze, M2X, Mega Gengar, etc)

Iron Tail? I'm no expert, but I don't know how viable Iron Tail is on Mega Luke. Sure, it's powerful, but that 75% accuracy is dreadful and Lucario doesn't really need Iron Tail if it has BP.

Again, no expert to Ubers, but I don't think IT is viable at all.

It ohkos xern, while bp barely 2hkos it. it's mandatory on mega lucario. Also, add sword dance to SD for stone edge/ ice punch slot somewhere since sd lets it to wall break far better.

Thanks, suggestions from Fireburn and Orch are in, plus shuffled around move order and added crunch to OO

In the OV, I would remove the bit about Luke having mediocre typing. Its typing is actually pretty good, giving its solid resists (including x4 SR resist and Toxic immunity) and decent STABs. Poor defenses is what primarily holds it back.

In usage tips you can mention ways to get Lucario into battle - double switching/VoltTurn is nice. It works best as a wallbreaker or a cleaner late-game once hazards are up.

Prolly mention more teammates (mostly things that beat support Arc and Grounds).

QC 1/3

does adamant really deserve a slash on the main set? Lucario's Speed is really one of the positive things about it, allowing it to outspeed Pre-Evo'd Mega Gengar + Kia/Khan and guaranteeing you outspeed Non Scarfed Variants of Xerneas/Yveltal (not that these 2 usually run max speed anyways, but still). imo, Adamant only deserves a mention in Set Details, and you should mention that Adamant should only be used on a Sticky Web Team. It's kinda like Kia/Mewtwo, they only got a Timid mention and not a Modest mention in the Gen 5, I could be wrong tho.

QC 2/3

DEFINITELY stress the perks of an Adamant nature on Sticky Web teams. It hits like a truck. While Adamant does not deserve a slash on the main set, it owns on webs. It helps stave off potential checks by turning 3HKO's into 2HKO's:

252+ Atk Adaptability Mega Lucario Close Combat vs. 248 HP / 252+ Def Arceus-Water: 198-234 (44.6 - 52.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock

252 Atk Adaptability Mega Lucario Close Combat vs. 248 HP / 252+ Def Arceus-Water: 180-214 (40.6 - 48.3%) -- 68.8% chance to 2HKO after Stealth Rock

(not that Croceus is that common but it still prevents it from checking Lucario reliably)

Also mention that Iron Tail is a necessary evil. 75% accuracy is dreadful but mauling Xerneas and Sylveon/Clefable is fun.

Also see below. oh thank god that got discovered

Uhhh...

Clearly I meant to do that, just testing you guys...

*nervous laughter*

In any case, thanks for the help, I've fixed the rather silly mistake now.

you simply cannot use adamant nature on Lucario, ever. for a sticky team it is honestly too important to outspeed max speed yveltal, as sticky web teams tend to be rather weak to this mon in particular. Swords Dance, however, is very recommended on sticky teams.

No Nasty Plot set? Would be awesome!
As stated in the OP, Lucario has a difficult time setting up, so since Lucario's Physical Moves have a much higher initial BP, it allows it to hit hard right of the bat without the boost of SD. Furthermore, BP is a nice form of priority against Xerneas/Fairyceus. Anyways, thats why I think NP hasn't got its own set.

Agility actually looks really interesting on Mega Lucario. Resists all the common formes or priority and has that raw power unboosted to make for a nifty cleaner. Don't think it needs a specific set but it might be worth a slash for when you want your Lucario to finish a game off. Playtest it, imo.

-Gengar and gothitelle can trap and take out things that might give lucario some trouble (like bulky support arcs that can resist and WoW or KO)
I don't really think Gengar should be mentioned. If you're using it to trap, it must be Mega Gengar and can't be used alongside Mega Lucario.

Nasty Plot isn't worth a set imo. It misses out on one of the biggest assets Mega Lucario packs, that is threatening Xerneas and Gengar with Bullet Punch. That said, I don't think ExtremeSpeed is worth it either.
How effective is Mega Lucario with Swords Dance in the last slot? How much damage does he do against opponents that resist his main STAB options like Ho-Oh?

Overview
Very frail, not just fairly. Mention that it has some handy resistances though (most importantly it resists all types of priority typically seen in Ubers, making it hard to pick off with that despite its frailty).

Set
Mention that SD is very hard to set up (and even if you manage a lot of Scarf Pokemon and a few other things still stop you).

Usage Tips
Don't underestimate its lack of bulk; pretty much any super effective move will KO and strong neutral ones will too. If you mention VoltTurn here, it should be related to using such (eg "Switching in should typically always be done after a KO or using Volt Switch, as Lucario is very frail and susceptible to burns/paralysis"); teammates go in Team Options.

Team Options
This should not only list what kinds of teammates are useful but give specific examples. Sticky Web is great -> Shuckle. SR is great -> SR setters. Only mention prominent stuff that pairs well (eg Dialga is a good SR setter but that Ground weakness is disgusting). Giratina-O also handles Fighting-types (pretty relevant weakness). Gothitelle can't trap and take out ALL troublesome Pokemon (Giratina/Ghostceus, I'm sure there's other stuff if I were to think harder), but a lot of them, and fares well in Sticky in general. Also give it its own section since you're doing the whole sections thing (and it really doesn't fit where it is atm). More synergistic team options would be nice. You don't have to say nearly as much as you did about Yveltal/Grassceus for each, just mention some stuff that needs covering and then examples. Oh and I'm not sure mentioning screens is worthwhile (you pretty much have to dedicate a mon to setting them up and then build a team that can keep them up, which is like Sticky but worse, and I'm pretty sure Sticky itself can't fit screens).

OO
Mach Punch should have merit with the same logic as Espeed (notably hits Darkrai that aren't -1 Speed really hard although it doesn't OHKO). Solid otherwise.

C&C
Ghost Arceus gets special mention under Arceus formes for immunity. Mention that Arceus that aren't faster (as a lot of them aren't) usually can't switch in. Lugia has a good chance to 2HKO with Aero rather than just phazing. Rest looks good (just ditch the brackets inside brackets under RK and rephrase to avoid that).

Analyses have picked up the bad habit of mentioning cleric support for everything. We had the same problem with hazards support last gen. Of course everything will appreciate cleric support because there's not much of a drawback to it, especially in such a hazards heavy meta. However, stuff like Lucario just doesn't see play that often for cleric support to be really worth it. Most of the time you are better off just not letting Lucario get hit with a burn or twave than trying to constantly keep it healthy.

For checks and counters, the neutral effectiveness arceus formes is really wordy and kinda just funny looking. You don't have to be super specific in the grouping titles since you have the short little blurb right after it. Support Arceus is enough to group together stuff like wisp ghosty, water, etc.

Oh also don't forget to include the ability choice for the base forme since Justified is way better than the other two.

Did you ever try out Agility Lucario by any chance? (just as an alternative to the other filler moves in the 4th slot)

Lucario loves Sticky Web. (Add period) - (Remove Hyphen) When Sticky Web is up on the other side of the field, it Lucario is able to more comfortably outspeed essentially everything, like Mewtwo, Darkrai and Scarfed threats, allowing it to stay in and dish out huge damage to a wider variety of Pokemon. Landorus-T is an excellent rock setter, while also having access to U-Turn (helping Lucario come in) and being an excellent partner for Lucario in terms of typing type synergy. Additionally, Lucario is an excellent Pokemon at keeping hazards up - (Remove hyphen) as it provides huge amounts of offensive pressure against enemy Defoggers (e.g. support such as Arceus without Will-O-Wisp), forcing the opponent to either take huge amounts of damage while Defogging, or to not use Defog at all.

Arceus-Grass is another excellent teammate, sporting the bulk and typing to take on any Ground-type moves that may threaten Lucario (in particular Groudon, who could otherwise easily take a hit from an unboosted Lucario and OHKO it in return), as well as being able to switch into Choice Scarf Kyogre which would otherwise outspeed and OHKO it Lucario, while at the same time forcing out these threats with a STAB and Grass Plate boosted Grass Knot or Judgment. Giratina-O can easily take any Ground- (Add hyphen) or Fire-type attacks aimed at Lucario, as well as providing a great deal of offensive pressure, while having decent bulk.

Gothitelle (and to a lesser extent, Wobbuffet) can trap with their respective abilities and take out some Pokemon that would otherwise give Lucario some trouble, like support Arceus formes with Will-O-Wisp. It also does very well on a Sticky Web team, allowing it to outspeed most support Arceus sets, and taking out them with almost 100% success (save bar for Ghost and Dark Arceus, of which the former can simply switch out, while both dish out a huge amount of damage before Gothitelle can set up its Calm Minds).

Volt Switchers and U-turners users are also excellent at safely bringing in Lucario, giving it more chances to come into battle and dish out damage, which it has trouble doing otherwise, as its lack of bulk makes it very difficult to switch in. Scizor in particular is a good candidate for this job - (Remove hyphen) as it it possesses a slow U-turn, allowing Lucario to come in after the enemy opponent has attacked moved. Furthermore, Lucario can threaten Steel-type (Add hyphen) Pokemon that Scizor would otherwise usually have trouble with (save except for Aegislash). However, there is some typing overlap between the two, and they both share a Fire-type weakness. (Add period) - (Remove hyphen) If you choose to use both, be sure to have a Pokemon that can switch into Fire-type moves well. Landorus-T also can fits the role of U-turner well, forcing a number of switches with its Intimidate ability and various immunities.

Other Options

Extreme Speed can be used over Bullet Punch as a priority move, as it does the same damage but hits different targets. Bullet Punch is necessary for hitting Mega-Gengar (Add hyphen) and finishing off other Ghosts-types, whereas Extreme Speed can more easily finish off those who resist Steel-type attacks, (Add hyphen) (e.g. such as Choice Scarf Kyogre or Zekrom). A specially orientated set is also possible, using its Lucario's very good Special movepool (with moves like Aura Sphere, Flash Cannon, Vacuum Wave, and Nasty Plot and others), but is generally much weaker than its Physical set, as its Special moves generally do less damage (e.g. Aura Sphere has 80 Base Power vs. Close Combat's 120, Flash Cannon has 80 BP vs. Iron Tail's 100 BP). Crunch is usable in Lucario's last moveslot, as it is the best way to hit Aegislash (despite requiring some prediction, so that you do not hit it while it uses King's Shield), and is also a more accurate move to hit Ghost-types, (Add hyphen) instead of using the less reliable Iron Tail. However, you must be wary of using Crunch on Aegislash, as it can use King's Shield, halving Lucario's Attack. Finally, Agility can be used in the late game, when all its Lucario's checks or counters are down, allowing it to outspeed basically anything in the game - at +2 speed, nothing outspeeds it unboosted (even with Choice Scarf). In addition, it resists all common forms of priority (Bullet Punch, Extreme Speed). This, coupled with its incredible offensive power, allows it to clean very well after a single Agility boost.

Checks & Counters
########

**Support Arceus**: Specifically, Any Arceus formes that aren't weak to Fighting- (Add hyphen) / Steel-types (Add space) (that also carry Will-O-Wisp) can check Lucario by burning it, and then Recovering can use Recover to heal off any damage. Arceus-Ghost in particular is immune to Lucario's main STAB, forcing it to use its weaker and less accurate Iron Tail. However, since most support Arceus sets do not run maximum Speed, Lucario often outspeeds, and so support Arceus without sufficient physical bulk usually cannot switch in.

**Giratina**: Giratina can survive any unboosted hit from Lucario, and can burn it with Will-O-Wisp or simply phaze it out with Dragon Tail.

**Lugia**: Lugia can survive any unboosted hit from Lucario, even without Multiscale down, Roost / Recover (Add spacs) any damage taken, and phaze it out with Whirlwind. It Lugia also does a good deal of damage with Aeroblast or Psychic, 2HKOing it Lucario most of the time, and possibly even OHKO after Lucario has used Close Combat a few times.

**Bulky ground types**: Groudon, Landorus-T and other bulky Ground-types (Add hyphen) can survive any unboosted attack including Ice Punch, and in turn OHKO it back with a STAB Earthquake Ground-type move. Landorus-T in particular can ruin Lucario's day by dropping its Attack on the switch with Intimidate, while resisting Lucario's main STAB move, Close Combat.

**Revenge killers**: Any revenge killers that can outspeed and survive a bullet punch ( like Choice Scarfed Kyogre / Palkia / Zekrom, (Add spaces) Blaziken with Protect and Mega Mewtwo X) can easily OHKO if given a free switch-in (Remove hyphen).

**Ho-oh**: If Stealth Rock is not up and Ho-oh is not weakened, Lucario cannot kill Ho-oh without the aid of Attack boosts or Stone Edge, whereas Ho-oh can easily OHKOs it Lucario with a STAB Fire-type move.

**Aegislash**: Aegislash is immune to Close Combat and resists its Lucario's Steel-type STABs, as well as many of its other usual coverage options (Stone Edge and Ice Punch), and can effectively wall any Lucario that is not running Crunch. However, without Shadow Ball, the standard Ubers Aegislash cannot do much back, as using Shadow Sneak puts it into its vulnerable Blade Forme before Lucario attacks.

Be careful with your use of parenthesis, hyphens and pronouns. Other then that, pretty good. Please do not implement this until a proper GP member has gone over this.

Technically, writers should implement as much from amchecks as they can. Having a GP member have to look over every amcheck just slows the whole process down more than if there was no amcheck at all! It's most similar to implementing QC suggestions from non-QC members.

I didn't look over this entirely in-depth, as there was a lot to change, but there's a lot of good additions here, Kangaroo. You missed some things, like Ho-Oh, missing some capitalizations of "Speed," "switch ins" (needs a hyphen), and "Mega-Gengar" (no hyphen needed). Be sure to look over those, but I'd like to see this check implemented, so 1/2 I guess
