[Overview]

• Lucario has +2 set up moves on both sides of the spectrum, and has a wide variety of attacks and great stats to abuse both
• Is an excellent check to a variety of Pokemon holding unique resistances and immunities to Rock/Steel/Bug/Dark/Poison/Ice/Grass/Ghost/Normal/Dragon and access to both a special and physical Priority attack.
• Weakness to 3 very common types (Fire/Fighting/Ground), somewhat frail defensively.

• Nasty Plot and almost perfect coverage with Aura Sphere/Dark Pulse make Lucario impossible to stop.
• Vacuum Wave gives it a very useful revenge tool vs sweepers such as Doryuuzu
• Nasty Plot LO Aura Sphere / Dark Pulse can OHKO almost any defensive Pokemon

[Additional Comments]

• Timid can revenge other Lucario and outspeeds Pokemon such as Timid LO Cune, Modest gives more damage output.
• Hidden Powers can be used over Vacuum Wave for coverage against flying-types

Teammates/Counters

• Bulky Flying-types are generally safe counters
• Lucario's low defenses leave it easy to be revenge killed
• Stealth Rock helps eliminate Flying-types
• Tyranitar can trap Ghost-types immune to Aura Sphere/VWave

Just a heads up when you get to it, the NP set is served much better by Shadow Ball over Dark Pulse. Shadow Ball has perfect neutral coverage with Aura Sphere, and hits those pesky Ghost-types just as hard.
