Two titans duke it out as Bors triggers an Earthquake that shakes both the arena and Query! Query responds by sending a fist of cold steel into Bors, dealing massive damage at the cost of significant Rough Skin recoil. Both Pokemon continue to trade each other blow for blow, until Query gets one last Ice Punch in on Bors, nearly knocking him out. Query does, however, knock itself out from the resulting Rough Skin damage!

What an explosive round 1! The time tested triple attack spam strat works for both sides, resulting in a near trade between Luc and Caliber! Caliber's Garchomp remains standing at a measly 4 health, which just so happens to be enough to get one hit on Luc's Monohm!

Bors, heavily wounded and nearly unconscious, digs straight into the ground before resurfacing under Nimbus, who unleashes a super Twister at the exposed Bors, knocking him out!

Luc cleans up Garchomp, put is forced into expending a combination attack to do so. Caliber may have the type advantage in in the upcoming Monohm vs Coloshale matchup, but was already forced to take a heavy hit and is starting next round with a cooldown. Will that be enough for the actual whale to beat Nimbus?

Giganscudo follows in the footsteps of Bors and triggers an Earthquake that shakes Nimbus. Giganscudo repeats the act just before Nimbus sends a Thunderbolt piercing through him. Undeterred, Giganscudo triggers the third Earthquake this round, which Nimbus rides out to deliver another Thunderbolt.

Nothing crazy this round as both sides simply spam their most powerful SE move. Monohm is now very low against an Earthquake spamming whale, this will be the end for Luc unless he pulls off a miracle

Giganscudo braces itself from Nimbus's attacks, preparing to weather whatever the little cloud can throw at it. However, this display of endurance does nothing against the Toxic sludge Nimbus poisons Giganscudo with! Luckily for Giganscudo, this move was anticipated, as he Encores Nimbus to repeat the action repeatedly while Giganscudo sets off another Earthquake! This may be the end for Nimbus!

With some trickery, Caliber seals out the match by abusing a Toxic substitution, allowing them to set Colosshale up for an unavoidable KO over Nimbus next round. With no tricks of their own, Luc's chance of winning is next to zero!
