Congratulations to Jmal98 for winning with SD Ice Fang Gliscor! Your nomination will logged in the archive!

Now, if you thought last week was hard, you'll never come up with something for this...

Dewgong @ Chople Berry
Ability: Thick Fat

EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 Spe
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk

- Perish Song

Dewgong is without a doubt one of Battle Spot's most dangerous and thiccest Pokemon to face, easily mishing common Pokemon such as Landorus-T and Naganadel with STAB Ice Beam, and punishing passive Pokemon such as Celesteela and haxduck with Perish Song. Not even Mega Blaziken can be tasked to remove this elite water reliably! What spiciness will you come up with to (attempt to) mish this majestic creature? Submishions will close and voting will begin Thursday evening.

One of the few pokemon that can pick up the OHKO on the mighty Dewgong. Normally scared of eating an Ice Beam or Surf this pokemon will be able to surprise the Dewgong with a KO usually leading to an opponent forfeiting after losing their broken pokemon. Diggersby is also related to Azumarill which is related to Dewgong, so it's also a broken pokemon.

Normally Dewgongs are easily able to mish over opposing Sableyes. However, Thick Club allows dlt dewgong killer to club Dewgong to death far more easily. Low Kick uses Dewgong's thiccness against it. Thunder Punch is a must for dismantling elite waters in the most efficient manner. Role Play allows you to copy Dewgong's Thicc Fat, making you impenetrable. Double Team allows you to mish every and all foes. Stall represents the difficulty in taking down this APMS founder.

Admittedly it's illegal, but how do you deal with Dewgong without hacking?

Celesteela is a defensive force to be reckoned with. Its stellar typing and bulk allows it to check prominent threats such as Tapu Lele and Landorus-T. It's far from a sitting duck as well, with powerful Heavy Slams and infuriating Leech Seeds at its disposal. How will you lure this metallic monster? - Fly / Rock slide/tomb / Stone edge / Substitute / filler
- Swords Dance

One would expect lando to be completely unable to do anything with its pesky flying typing taking away those earthquakes and its sheer bulk making basically any coverage move bounce off, until you reveal Gravity, and now all of a sudden your Earthquake is basically Thousand Arrows on steroids. Needless to say it does not end well for steela afterwards.

+2 252+ Atk Landorus-T Earthquake vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Celesteela under Gravity: 288-338 (141.1 - 165.6%) -- guaranteed OHKO
-1 0 Atk Celesteela Heavy Slam (120 BP) vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Landorus-T: 51-60 (31 - 36.5%) -- 54.1% chance to 3HKO

As for the rest of the set, Smack down is an option if you don't want opposing landos to hit you with their earthquake, but isn't as useful against teams with 2 or more flying types or unexpected subseed steelas, while Z fly gives lando basically perfect coverage, annihilating the only ground resists left after Gravity/Smack Down in bug and grass types.

Jmal98's Bulky Tapunium Z from Next Best Thing. The function of this is the same as described in their nomination: lure in bulky Steel-types such as Heatran and Celesteela, rip out a massive chunk of their health with Guardian of Alola, and pick up a kill with either Psychic or Focus Blast. I replaced the Taunt slash with Focus Blast, allowing you to choose between beating Sp. Def Heatran and Aegislash.

0+ SpA Tapu Lele Psychic vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Celesteela in Psychic Terrain: 53-63 (25.9 - 30.8%) -- 6.5% chance to 4HKO after Leftovers recovery

0+ SpA Tapu Lele Psychic vs. 212 HP / 252+ SpD Heatran in Psychic Terrain: 36-43 (18.6 - 22.2%) -- possible 6HKO after Leftovers recovery

0+ SpA Tapu Lele Focus Blast vs. 212 HP / 252+ SpD Heatran: 88-104 (45.5 - 53.8%) -- 1.2% chance to 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

0+ SpA Tapu Lele Psychic vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Aegislash-Shield in Psychic Terrain: 38-45 (22.7 - 26.9%) -- 27.4% chance to 4HKO

0+ SpA Tapu Lele Hidden Power Fire vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Aegislash-Shield: 44-54 (26.3 - 32.3%) -- guaranteed 4HKO

Although these calcs are far from impressive, remember that Tapu Lele only needs to deal 25% to pick up to KO after Guardian of Alola - and that's assuming the opponent is at full health!

Before I open voting, I would like to provide some constructive criticism:
remember you guys, this isn't VotW, we have to trick things into thinking they can switch in and check/counter our mons...
This is exactly what this whole thread is about. Although all nominations help the given Pokemon beat the victim better, some Pokemon already beat the victim to begin with or scare it out anyways. I allowed all submissions this time around, but in the future I may be a bit more strict on the quality of lures. Remember, the worse your submission "loses" to the victim, the better!

My own vote will be going to Steel With It's Electrium Z Nihilego. The ability to spiral out of control with Beast Boost can be gg for some teams, especially those whose Nihilego answers are Celesteela. I myself would prefer HP Ice over hazards, but I'll let that slide.
