Moves
========

Rock Blast is Alolan Geodude's main STAB move, hitting Flying-types for super effective damage and helping it check threats such as Vullaby and Doduo. Fire Punch OHKOes Ferroseed and hit other Grass-types. Superpower helps Alolan Geodude by OHKOing Pawniard and Magnemite, as well as hitting Rock-types super effectively. Stealth Rock is useful thanks to Alolan Geodude's bulk to set up against trapped Pokemon like Ferroseed and Pawniard.

Set Details
========

Magnet Pull is required for this set to work, trapping Ferroseed and Pawniard. 36 EVs in HP and 116 EVs in Defense along with Eviolite allow Alolan Geodude to switch into Pawniard and avoid being 2HKOed by Knock Off followed by Iron Head. 116 EVs in Attack secure the OHKO on both Ferroseed and Pawniard with the adequate coverage. 36 EVs in Speed let Alolan Geodude outspeed Ferroseed in order to effectively trap it.

Usage Tips
========

Alolan Geodude should be sent into the field if Ferroseed or Pawniard are going to switch in, which can be done by providing momentum via Volt Switch and U-turn or on double switches. If a teammate has been weakened by Pawniard, Alolan Geodude can be sent in to trap and revenge kill it. Alolan Geodude can only set Stealth Rock up against Pawniard if it comes in unscathed and against Ferroseed if it doesn't take a Knock Off. It is important for Alolan Geodude to stay healthy throughout the match if it has to trap anything. Moreover, it must be careful with Diglett and Trapinch on opposing teams and should not come into pivoting moves such as U-turn to avoid getting trapped. In case there are no trappers, Alolan Geodude's typing can be used to check Flying-types such as Doduo, but it is important to distinguish when to use it and when to keep it healthy to trap important threats.

Team Options
========

Pokemon that provide momentum such as Mienfoo and Vullaby make decent partners by helping Alolan Geodude pivot in safely. Grass-types such as Foongus and Snivy can help mitigate the weakness against Diglett and Trapinch, as well as check Ground- and Water-types. Moreover, Snivy benefits from Alolan Geodude removing both Pawniard and Ferroseed to help it act as a wallbreaker in a more effective way. Similarly, wallbreakers such as Abra and Gastly enjoy getting these threats removed to break through many common builds. Shellder is a setup sweeper that appreciates both Pawniard and Ferroseed getting removed in order to set up and clean teams with ease. Checks to Fighting-types such as Spritzee help Alolan Geodude with its weakness in exchange for trapping Steel-types. Lastly, Flying-types such as Doduo and Vullaby appreciate Alolan Geodude removing Pawniard, and in return they help with checking Grass-types, which can manage Alolan Geodude with ease.

In Moves, give a reason why Stone Edge over Thunderpunch - KO thresholds that it misses ect

In set details, combine the Eviolite and Def EV points into one - something along the lines of 'with eviolite and the given evs, geodude-a can avoid a 2HKO from pawniard knock off'

Mention that Geodude-A can only safely set up rocks against Pawniard if it gets in unscathed and Ferroseed if it doesn't take a Knock Off on the switch in usage tips.
(156 Atk Pawniard Iron Head vs. 36 HP / 116 Def Eviolite Geodude-Alola: 7-9 (33.3 - 42.8%) -- guaranteed 3HKO and outspeeds, 36 Atk Ferroseed Knock Off (97.5 BP) vs. 36 HP / 116 Def Eviolite Geodude-Alola: 4-5 (19 - 23.8%) -- possible 5HKO into 36 Atk Ferroseed Bullet Seed (3 hits) vs. 36 HP / 116 Def Geodude-Alola: 18-24 (85.7 - 114.2%) -- approx. 6.3% chance to OHKO)

Also in usage tips, mention volt switch along with u-turn, since it's fairly likely Ferroseed would come in on a volt switcher.

In team options:
Mention that Grass-types take on Water-types as well since you don't mention that anywhere, since this set has no electric attacks.
Remove Wingull mention.

Implement this and give yourself 1/3

Considering every other LC Rock-type that learns Rock Blast uses it over Stone Edge, I don't know why Alolan Geodude is the exception. It's not like AlolanDude is more vulnerable to Vullaby than any other Rock Blaster to warrant prioritizing the bypassing of Berry Juice (also Rock Blast just shreds Weak Armor variants anyway).

Moves
========
  • update to reflect rock blast
  • mention the stat drop included when using superpower

Set Details
========
  • what do you mean by "eases KOing Ferroseed"? it doesnt look like hitting one more point in attack significantly changes your rolls vs ferroseed. if it does, specify this, and if not, choose a different example

Usage Tips
========
  • Add coming in after a KO to the list of ways to bring it in
  • Be more specific about trappers - you want to be careful about not getting trapped before you have to trap something else. Talk about how to avoid this (dont come in on pivot moves, etc)
  • Talk about not letting it get worn down before it traps the important Pokemon (dont try and check doduo when you still need ferro trapped)

Team Options
========
  • Talk about Fighting-checks - many of them also appreciate Steel-types being removed
  • Talk about ways to remove Diglett and Trapinch
Good work, 2/3

Rock Blast is Alolan Geodude's main STAB, which hits Flying-types with super effective damage, and ensures the OHKO on threats such as Vullaby. [2 Hits will not OHKO Vulla, so change the example or the wording.] Fire Punch is a coverage move to get the OHKO on Ferroseed and hit other Grass- and Steel-types alike. [Remove. Superpower hits all other relevant Steels harder, Honedge doesn't count.] Superpower helps Alolan Geodude by OHKOing Pawniard and Magnemite, as well as hitting Rock-types super effectively, but it drops both Attack and Defense stats in one level. [Remove.] Stealth Rock is useful to make use of Geodude's bulk to set it up against trapped Pokemon like Ferroseed and Pawniard.

Set Details
========

36 EVs in HP and 116 EVs in Defense along with Eviolite allow Alolan Geodude to switch into Pawniard and avoid 2HKO from Knock Off into Iron Head [Add.]. 116 EVs in Attack are mandatory to net the KO against Magnemite with Fire Punch [This isn't true. What do you mean?] after Stealth Rock damage. 36 EVs in Speed let Alolan Geodude outspeed Ferroseed in order to trap it. Magnet Pull is the ability required for this set to work, trapping Ferroseed and Pawniard. [Make this the 1st sentence. This is important.]

Usage Tips

Alolan Geodude must be sent into the field if Ferroseed or Pawniard are going to switch in, which can be done by providing momentum via Volt Switch and U-turn, or doing double switches. If a teammate has been weakened by Pawniard, Alolan Geodude can be sent in to trap and revenge kill Pawniard. If you expect a switch from the opponent of manage to trap a Steel-type, try to set Stealth Rock up as soon as you can by taking advantage of Alolan Geodude's bulk. [I'm fairly confused]. It can only set Stealth Rock up against Pawniard if Alolan Geodude comes in unscathered and against [Add for clarity.] Ferroseed if it doesn't take a Knock Off. It is important for Alolan Geodude to stay healthy throughout the match if it has to trap anything. Moreover, it must be careful with Diglett and Trapinch on opposing teams, and should not come into pivoting moves such as U-turn to avoid getting trapped. Add a Shellder mention, since afaik not using Shellder when you happen to use Geo-A is an utter waste.
