It tuens out scouring "[Gen 8] Random Battle" is the least of my worries when it comes to talking in AC chatrooms. Waiting a week is worse in my opinion. I've been here for way over a week, yet it bugs me that I have to wait another week to chat again.
My old username is Ri nanosecond.

you can change to your old name that's AC and then swap to the new name with /nick to temporarily pass ac over - that should help until the new name becomes AC.
