I offer my best greetings. I am Christophe, and I managed to make a name for myself as ❝Maximum Optimizer❞ (❝Max. Optimizer❞) on the Pokéweb.
I have been playing Poketto Monsutā for over two decades, ever since the Pokémon Red and Pokémon Blue games were released in Europe in 1999.
My ❝career❞, however, commenced in 2016, when I grew into a committed contributor and eventually a moderator of the Smogon Wi-Fi sub-forum.

In this trade thread, I welcome the opportunity to exhibit my nonpareil répertoire of one-of-a-kind trouser pouch monstrosities that I began in 2016.
My répertoire is at present composed of 357 Pokémon, 155 of which were obtained by yours truly, as well as 202 of which were obtained via trading.
My répertoires of Synchronizers, flawless Ditto, and Pokémon GO Pokémon are not featured in this thread. They can be found here and here instead.
Yet words spoken, written, or signed are not in themselves sufficient to capture the nostalgia and personal memories I have lived with this franchise.
In this thread, I commemorate the best moments I spent with a franchise that has accompanied me during 25 of my current 32 years of being alive.
In this thread, I also commemorate the friendships I have established via trading with the many people I had the pleasure to meet in the community.
For me, personally, exchanging Pokémon has always been more than just exchanging mere pixels; it also allows you to exchange pieces of your soul.
This is why I do not only show my own Pokémon, but also the meaningful projects that my friends entrusted me with and that I will treasure forever.
Over the course of time, I have au fait worked out the necessary savoir-faire, presently allowing me to acquire most of the Pokémon I desire myself.
This is why this thread's raison d'être has developed peu à peu over time and why it has mainly become a showcase thread, in lieu of a trade thread.
Per contra, if you are convinced that you can submit me an attractive offer you think I cannot reject, please do not feel disheartened to ask anyway.
I am typically open for negotiations and there is also always a notable chance that I will let you have the Pokémon that you want for absolutely free.
I use RNG Abuse/RNG Manipulation in order to strive for flawless Pokémon and, in the same spirit, I tend to exclusively trade for flawless Pokémon.
I have for example inter alia a noteworthy predilection for nicknamed Pokémon, as well as for Pokémon that have unique backstories and movesets.
I was heavily influenced by Sephirona, the longstanding user who started this fun and enriching part of our culture. She deserves all the credit for it.
Hence, I also take pleasure in giving every single one of my Pokémon an individual nickname, in order to give each one of them a unique character.
As a polyglot speaking six languages, I like experimenting with meaningful nicknames from foreign cultures that match the theme of the Pokémon.
My manifold répertoire of multitudinous Japanese trouser pouch monstrosities is hence supposed to reflect the multifarious facets of the real world.
Furthermore, I draw a lot of inspiration for the nicknames from both classic and contemporary literature, cinematography, music, and video games.
Please find under the entry of every single Pokémon a succinct aperçu, explaining the meanings in addition to the references behind the nicknames.
All of my virtual pets have a sui generis name. This means that I do not use the same name twice, be it for my Pokémon or my Flight Rising dragons.
The finishing touch always consists of decorating the laureate Pokémon with the maximum amount of available ribbons in every single generation.
These Pokémon, customarily referred to as ❝Ribbon Masters❞, have attained a valuable prestige among collectors, connoisseurs, and completionists.
This allows me, ever since Generation 8, to confer a title to my ❝Ribbon Masters❞, so that a tagline is displayed when I send them out into a battle.
You can find mine, as well as the ones from other collectors, connoisseurs, and completionists in the /r/pokemonribbons community's Hall of Fame.
- This is my own private thread. Whatever I say goes. I am certainly aware that this is a broad statement and it is absolutely intended to be.

- As a matter of course, you are allowed, and even encouraged, to use the vernacular that is commonly employed in trading communities.
- In case you need several Pokémon from my collection to participate in (genuine) competitions, please do not hesitate to ask me for them.
- In case some of my Pokémon assisted you in winning a (genuine) competition, please do not hesitate to share your achievement with me.
- In case you need some Pokémon from my collection as prizes for a competition that you are hosting, I will gladly donate it to your cause.
- Please note that I do not accept any custom RNG Abuse requests. I reserve the right to completely devote myself to my personal travail.
- I exclusively welcome Pokémon that originate either from the Smogon Wi-Fi sub-forum or from Pokémon Showdown's Wi-Fi chat room.
- In addition to this, though it should go without saying, you should not even bother trying to offer me hacked or manipulated Pokémon.
- Subject to the same conditions, I refuse Pokémon from external sources like Wonder Trade, the GTS, passer-by or Twitch/YouTube raffles.
- Similarly, I refuse Pokémon that you, or everybody else for that matter, can effortlessly get for free in giveaways (e.g. Smogon Facebook).
- Please do consult the Smogon Wi-Fi sub-forum's Tips for Simple Hack Checks thread in case you doubt the legitimacy of your Pokémon.
- Please do consult TheMantyke's Gen 7 Pokéball Legality guide in case you doubt the legitimacy of a Pokéball that a Pokémon was bred in.
- Please do consult shiny finder's Gen 8 Pokéball Legality guide in case you doubt the legitimacy of a Pokéball that a Pokémon was bred in.
- Please do consult /r/pokemontrades' list of Hacked Events in Generation 6 and 7 in case you doubt the legitimacy of an event Pokémon.
- It is your de facto responsibility to ensure that the Pokémon you are offering are not hacked or manipulated in any way, shape, or form.
- I will not trade with fraudulent users blacklisted on Smogon Wi-Fi, in the Pokémon Showdown Wi-Fi chat room, or on /r/pokemontrades.
- Users that redeemed themselves by contributing positively to earn their second chance are by all means exempt from the foregoing rule.
- Every single one of my Pokémon has a nickname. These nicknames are permanent and must never be altered in any way, shape, or form.
- Every single one of my bred Pokémon is bred using flawless Ditto from .com, Buckert, Eppie, imYati, Luxpluff91, Most, PsIana, and vzxt.
- Every single one of my RNG bred shiny Pokémon is hatched by hatchers on Smogon Wi-Fi's TSV list or by hatchers from /r/SVExchange.
- Every single one of my Pokémon is obtained manually, without the use of Lua scripts, PKMN-NTR bots, or sys-botbase/SysBot.NET bots.
- Most of my Pokémon are fully redistributable, however, only on the condition that I get credited satisfactorily. You shall link back to me.
- If a Pokémon is listed as
Non-Redis, it means that I am allowed to trade this Pokémon to you, but you are not allowed to trade it further. - If a Pokémon is listed as
NFT, it means that I am not allowed to trade this Pokémon and that it is only listed here for personal reference. - Coequally, other users' Pokémon are not always fully redistributable either. Please ensure that you comply with the redistribution rights.
- By making the majority of my own Pokémon fully redistributable, I intend to incentivize even more trading among community members.
- I also want to clearly emphasize that every single Pokémon that you will receive from me will, without exceptions, be a cloned Pokémon.
- We give cloning carte blanche, since it does not alter the data. Furthermore, it keeps the trading economy going and incentivizes trades.
- If you are opposed to cloned Pokémon, I will respect your standpoint, but I will also kindly ask you to refrain from posting in this thread.
- Insults, trolling, and condescension are included under the umbrella of disrespect and are strongly prohibited. Please have some sense.
- Respect and tolerance are by no means one-way streets and naturally go hand in hand. If you respect me, I respect you correspondingly.
- Please include this symbol () in your post to authenticate that you have perused the rules, failing which it will end up getting deleted.
- Errors and omissions occur. However, I use reasonable care to ensure that the information shown in my thread is accurate and up to date.
- Finally, I conclude by saying that I appreciate constructive feedback. I would, however, prefer if you would send me your criticism directly.
