In general, I didn't come to the same conclusion as dusk about page 4, but it's not necessarily a bad thing to play scummy if you can eventually get Town read when it is important to.

I always tiptoe the line of scum just to survive until endgame. It's a good strategy if you can Towntell property

Not sure I agree with this strategy. Might just be influenced by a recent game where I survived to final three, easily figured out who was the last scum, but was mislynched because I couldn't convince the other civ.
