I dont get how this is a hot take. Moody gave a reasonable conclusion from what I understand.
I still think claiming was a bad idea, I was forced into it. We have gained nothing from claiming really still except mafia have been able to choose to cc against whichever town they wish. You yourself have admitted your play was bad that I called you scum for, so I don't think it is fair to scumread me for calling that scumdriven. Though I am willing to admit I pushed it too far, mostly as a means of pressure, but also I didn't like how you played overall on some occasions (and im not the only one). Obviously I misread you and that is a misplay, but I definitely don't think you were so towny this game to auto scumread someone for thinking you are scum.
I think a massclaim was always going to be good at some point, but we jumped the gun because hal was too keen to try catch me out, the game wasn't locked upon claim and I think it therefore just gives mafia the power to control their nightkills and gives them the best change of coming back from a bad position.
Tbh it is kinda frustrating that I am getting lynched for simple misreads, when there is a slot with a lot more scum equity than me. I feel like I can't even use logic and am just getting locked out of the game without a chance despite not even doing anything exceptionally scummy at all. There are people popping on saying "ok vote dusk" and dipping before I even get a chance to discuss with them and defend myself. This makes it impossible to defend myself from getting mislynched and it is kinda disheartening. At the end of the day I appreciate that mewtwo at least has given me a chance to defend myself rather than just sheeping onto me without defending their reasoning like many have. I just kinda hope people don't start this whole sheeping hal every game even if he gives no actual reasoning for why a slot is scum, because it makes it far too difficult to play the game when he is so unreasonible with his tunneling.

Saying guaranteed/confirmed or similar means something to me, at least. If I ever say somebody is confirmed something it means I know for sure. I don't think I ever say something is confirmed unless it's confirmed, I get that you say it was for pressure but in that case you had to understand the risk of that backfiring, no?
I'm hesitant to hammer just because I don't see a motive for you to play that way as scum, it would clearly get you killed.
Maybe it makes sense if you had somebody cleaner like ds or fenrir and you wanted to distract us so your teammate can fly under the radar.
My scum game is a lot less confrontational than my town game, which I think my meta backs up. If you look at invitational d2 you will see me tunneling scum, despite me getting a lot of heat and ganged up on for being so direct. This was a town game.
If you compare that to my scum game, I am a lot more diplomatic I think. In general I live by a theory that most a lot of mafia players follow. As town I try to lynch scum, as scum I try to look towny. Take from that what you will but scum dusk doesnt come in and attempt to lynch one of the hardest to lynch players on smogon, starting an essential 1v1 with him. I understand that saying you are confscum is probably bad now, but honestly it looked like you slipped and tbh I am still perplexed by what you were attempting to do in that post.

I think you hit the nail on the head there, it doesn't make sense to do that as scum from him.
Also y'all throw around conf!status way too easily here. People are conf only via role information or their own death flips. In this game the only thing that is know atm is that sultan, apri, and mewtwo are conf!town
