RU Mega Abomasnow

Abomasnow-Mega @ Abomasite
Ability: Soundproof
EVs: 92 Atk / 252 SpA / 164 Spe
Rash Nature
- Blizzard
- Wood Hammer / Giga Drain
- Ice Shard
- Focus Blast / Earthquake

Mega Abomasnow is a threat to be reckoned with in RU due to the excellent coverage its STAB moves provide, notably being able to hit very prominent walls such as Milotic, Mandibuzz, and Gligar for super effective damage. In spite of its extremely mediocre Speed, its access to strong priority in Ice Shard helps mitigate this issue, hitting faster threats like Zygarde-10%, Swellow, and Virizion. Focus Blast nails Bronzong and Registeel and also hits other walls such as Umbreon and Snorlax, while Earthquake targets Fire-types like Entei and Salazzle, albeit hitting Steel-types for less damage. Mega Abomasnow's Grass typing and key Ice neutrality allow it to switch into Pokemon like Zygarde-10% and Milotic, especially if running Giga Drain, with ease. However, its typing, coupled with its laughable Speed, makes Abomasnow vulnerable to notable offensive threats like Entei, Escavalier, Salazzle, and Golisopod. Despite these issues, it is an excellent wallbreaker that all balance teams should prepare for.

Banned deucer.
Nido is potentially carrying Sludge Wave/Focus Blast tbh, don't list it as a mon you switch into. List Zydoge instead since you're also threatening it. You also aren't really enjoying a burn from milo w/ the main slashes, but IDK if you can think of a better mon for this; if you do feel free to change it but its fine to stay as is; if you have the characters you can just mention giga drain and keep it.

Mega Abomasnow is a threat to be reckoned with in RU due to the excellent coverage its STAB moves provide, notably being able to hit very prominent walls such as Milotic, Mandibuzz, and Gligar for super effective (RH) damage. In spite of its extremely mediocre Speed, its access to strong priority in Ice Shard helps mitigate this issue, hitting faster threats like Zygarde-10%, Swellow, and Virizion. Focus Blast nails Bronzong and Registeel, (RC) and also hits other walls such as Umbreon and Snorlax, while Earthquake targets Fire-types like Entei and Salazzle, albeit hitting Steel-types for less damage. Mega Abomasnow's Grass typing (RH) and key Ice neutrality allow it to switch into Pokemon like Zygarde-10% and Milotic, especially if running Giga Drain, with ease. However, its typing, coupled with its lethargic Speed, (lethargic speed doesnt make much sense imo) is a double-edged sword, considering it makes Abomasnow vulnerable to notable offensive threats like Entei, Escavalier, Salazzle, and Golisopod. Despite these issues, it is an excellent wallbreaker that all balance teams should prepare for.
