UU Leader
[OVERVIEW]

Mega Aerodactyl is one of the most dominant offensive Pokemon in the UU metagame thanks to its combination of speed, power, and versatility, allowing it to fit on every team archetype. Its immense base 150 Speed makes it the fastest unboosted Pokemon in the tier. A sizable base 135 Attack coupled with Tough Claws and a wide arsenal of moves, such as Stone Edge, Earthquake, Wing Attack, and Pursuit, allows Mega Aerodactyl to hit a vast amount of Pokemon in the tier super effectively. Pursuit lets it trap common Pokemon, such as Latias, Gengar, and Chandelure. However, even with its vast movepool, Mega Aerodactyl still does not possess the necessary firepower to break through some of UU's bulkier walls, such as Swampert and Mega Aggron. Mega Aerodactyl is also susceptible to Stealth Rock due to its part Flying typing and weak to the powerful priority moves that flood the UU metagame, such as Bullet Punch from Scizor and Ice Shard from Mamoswine, meaning that it can be worn down rather easily when not packing Roost. Lastly, Mega Aerodactyl is outsped by common Choice Scarf users such as Latias and Hydreigon, which can revenge kill it after Stealth Rock damage.

Moves
========

Stone Edge is Mega Aerodactyl's best STAB attack, allowing it to hit unresisted foes like Scizor and Primarina hard and Flying-types like Togekiss and Crobat for a significant amount of damage. Earthquake has great neutral coverage with Stone Edge and is Mega Aerodactyl's strongest way of hitting Steel-types that resist Stone Edge, such as Cobalion, Empoleon, and Stakataka. It's also useful for hitting Poison-, Rock-, and Fire-types like Tentacruel, Terrakion, and Volcanion. Fire Fang can OHKO an unsuspecting Scizor on the switch, but Scizor can otherwise still beat Mega Aerodactyl with Bullet Punch. Aqua Tail hits Ground-types such as Hippowdon, Rhyperior, and Krookodile super effectively. Wing Attack enables Mega Aerodactyl to hit Grass-types such as Celebi and Amoonguss hard. Pursuit is the preferred move in the final slot, allowing Mega Aerodactyl to trap Pokemon like Latias, Gengar, and Chandelure, as well as frailer foes it forces out like Nihilego and Crobat. Roost provides longevity by preventing Mega Aerodactyl from being easily worn down by Stealth Rock and can be used over any move bar Stone Edge if the team has the tools necessary to deal with the likes of Rhyperior. Ice Fang is a coverage move that allows it to hit Ground-types, such as Krookodile, and Dragon-types, such as Latias and Hydreigon. Due to the amount of switches that Mega Aerodactyl forces, Stealth Rock can be used if no other member on the team has it.

Set Details
========

Maximum Speed investment alongside a Jolly nature allows Mega Aerodactyl to be as fast as possible, outspeeding all of the unboosted metagame and slower Choice Scarf users like Chandelure and Volcanion. Maximum Attack investment maximizes Mega Aerodactyl's offensive capabilities and lets it perform its role as efficiently as possible. Unnerve is the pre-Mega ability of choice, as it prevents foes from consuming Berries. Mega Aerodactyl obtains Tough Claws upon Mega Evolving, which increases its contact-based moves' power, such as Aqua Tail and Pursuit, by 30%.

Usage Tips
========

Use Mega Aerodactyl's typing to bring it in against resisted hits from the likes of Mega Pidgeot and Togekiss when Stealth Rock is not present or if it is running Roost. Mega Aerodactyl's high base Speed and good coverage also allow it to be brought in to revenge kill Pokemon such as Mega Manectric, Mega Pidgeot, Mega Beedrill, and Chandelure. Due to its wide arsenal of moves, Mega Aerodactyl is very good against offense. Weaken opposing teams as much as possible to give Mega Aerodactyl a chance to sweep late-game. Avoid bringing Mega Aerodactyl into Stealth Rock, as this limits the number of times it can come in throughout the match; this is especially important if Mega Aerodactyl is lacking Roost. However, do note that Mega Aerodactyl can pivot into some Stealth Rock users like Hippowdon to threaten them with its super effective coverage moves and avoid Stealth Rock damage. If the opposing Pokemon is in range of one of Mega Aerodactyl's coverage moves, use the coverage move instead of Stone Edge to beat it, as Stone Edge has less accuracy. Weakening opposing bulky Water- and Ground-types such as Slowbro, Swampert, and Hippowdon is vital, as they can stop Mega Aerodactyl's sweep with ease. Take advantage of Choice Scarf Pokemon such as Gengar and Nihilego locked into resisted moves, as Pursuit trapping them means they cannot revenge kill Mega Aerodactyl later in the game. Latias can be Pursuit trapped if it is locked into Draco Meteor after a stat drop. If a Hippowdon has recently been on the field and sandstorm is up, Mega Aerodactyl can pivot into and trap foes like Gengar and Latias more easily due to its increased Special Defense.

Team Options
========

Teammates that can threaten bulky Ground- and Water-types are necessary, as Mega Aerodactyl cannot break past them by itself. As such, Grass-types like Rotom-C and Celebi make for fantastic offensive teammates. Due to its Stealth Rock weakness, Mega Aerodactyl appreciates hazard control from the likes of Tentacruel, Empoleon, Starmie, Rotom-C, and Tsareena. It is imperative to have an answer to priority users such as Scizor, as Bullet Punch can easily OHKO Mega Aerodactyl. Swampert and Hippowdon can both set up Stealth Rock to wear down opposing teams, which is helpful due to the number of switches Mega Aerodactyl forces. Hippowdon also provides sandstorm support, which allows Mega Aerodactyl to switch in more easily versus Latias, Hydreigon, and Mega Pidgeot. Pivots like Scizor and Hydreigon are fantastic teammates, as they can wear down bulky Water-types and also bring in Mega Aerodactyl safely via U-turn. Fighting-types such as Cobalion, Infernape, Heracross, and Bewear greatly appreciate Mega Aerodactyl's ability to Pursuit trap Pokemon that generally force them out, such as Latias and Chandelure. Infernape deserves a special mention, as Latias and Chandelure are two of its biggest nuisances, which Mega Aerodactyl can trap. Mega Aerodactyl can also switch into and check Flying-types like Mega Pidgeot and Moltres. In return, Infernape can check Scizor and maintain offensive pressure against the rest of the team. Special wallbreakers, such as Primarina, Latias, and Hydreigon, can weaken opposing bulky teams and give Mega Aerodactyl a better chance at sweeping late-game. Mega Aerodactyl can be really effective on stall teams, trapping stallbreakers like Substitute + Calm Mind Chandelure and Calm Mind Latias and checking threatening Flying-type stallbreakers such as Taunt Crobat and Nasty Plot Togekiss.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

Hone Claws turns Mega Aerodactyl into a potentially scary late-game sweeper, but it is easily revenge killed by Choice Scarf users and priority moves. Substitute is an option to ease prediction and is effective against opposing offensive builds; however, this will cost Mega Aerodactyl a valuable coverage slot and wear it down faster. Crunch hits Psychic-types, such as Latias and Celebi, harder than its other coverage moves but lacks the coverage of Mega Aerodactyl's other moves or the utility of Pursuit. Taunt can be used to shut down defensive walls that rely on support moves to beat Mega Aerodactyl, such as Blissey, Hippowdon, and Alomomola lacking Scald.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Water-types**: Defensive Water-types such as Swampert, Slowbro, and Suicune take little damage from all of Mega Aerodactyl's attacks and can easily 2HKO it in return with their STAB attacks, as well as threaten to burn it with Scald.

**Ground-types**: Defensive Ground-types like Hippowdon, Rhyperior, and Swampert can handle most attacks aimed at them and beat Mega Aerodactyl through Toxic or super effective attacks. They can also set up Stealth Rock to pressure Mega Aerodactyl. However, Ground-types should watch out for Aqua Tail if they are weak to it.

**Steel-types**: Bulky Steel-types such as Mega Aggron can stomach hits from Mega Aerodactyl due to their high Defense and OHKO it with their strong STAB attacks. Empoleon and Cobalion can survive a single Earthquake and OHKO Mega Aerodactyl with their STAB attacks as well. Klefki can threaten Mega Aerodactyl out with its status moves and wall it if it has Magnet Rise.

**Priority Moves and Faster threats**: Bullet Punch from Scizor is super effective and can OHKO Mega Aerodactyl with ease, while Aqua Jet from Crawdaunt and Ice Shard from Mamoswine can OHKO Mega Aerodactyl after Stealth Rock damage. Choice Scarf users like Hydreigon and Latias can outspeed and beat Mega Aerodactyl with prior damage.

  • Mega Aerodactyl is one of the most dominant Pokemon in the UnderUsed metagame.
  • Its immense 150 base speed makes it the fastest unboosted Pokemon in the tier.
  • A sizeable 135 base attack coupled with Tough Claws and a wide arsenal of moves allows Mega Aerodactlyl to hit a vast amount of the tier super effectively.
  • The combination of speed, power, and versatility makes Mega Aerodactyl one of the best offensive Pokemon in the entire metagame and allows it to fit in every team archetype.
  • However, even with its vast movepool, Mega Aerodactyl still does not possess the necessary firepower to break through some of UU's bulkier walls.
  • When discussing its vast movepool, you can talk about some of the 4mss with options like Roost, Wing Attack, and Hone Claws that have to be dropped from some sets.
  • Mega Aerodactyl is also susceptible to Stealth Rock and the powerful priority moves that flood the UU metagame.

[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
========

  • Stone Edge is Mega Aerodactyl's best STAB attack, allowing it to hit unresisted foes hard. (You could mention the accuracy drawback here and also give some targets for it)
  • Earthquake is Mega Aerodactyl's strongest way of hitting Steel- types that resist its dual STAB attacks (This set doesn't run Flying STAB so I'd clarify by saying those that resist Stone Edge) such as Mega Aggron, Cobalion, and Empoleon. It's also useful for hitting Poison-, Rock-, and Fire- types like Tentacruel, Terrakion, and Volcanion, respectively.
  • Ice Fang is a good coverage move that allows it to hit Ground- types, such as Gliscor, Hippowdon, and Krookodile, and Dragon- types, such as Latias and Hydreigon.
  • Pursuit is the best move in the final slot, allowing Mega Aerodactyl to trap Pokemon like Latias, Gengar, and Chandelure for the rest of the team.
  • You could potentially mention Aqua Tail here as an alternative for Ice Fang due to its higher Base Power and better damage output against bulky Ground-types, but that's up to QC.

Set Details
========

  • Max speed along with a Jolly nature allow Mega Aerodactyl to be as fast as possible, outspeeding all of the unboosted metagame. (I would also talk about slower Choice Scarf users like Chandelure and Volcanion)
  • Max attack makes Mega Aerodactyl as powerful as possible.
  • Unnerve is the pre-mega ability of choice, as it prevents foes from consuming berries.
  • Mega Aerodactyl obtains Tough Claws upon mega evolving, which increases its contact based moves' power by 30%.

Usage Tips
========

  • Use Mega Aerodactyl's typing to bring it in against resisted hits from the likes of Mega Pidgeot, Togekiss, and Gliscor.
  • Adding onto the above point, talk about how best to take advantage of the free turns and switches that bringing Aerodactyl in on these Pokemon offers; crippling a switch-in can make or break a game in some circumstances.
  • Due to its wide arsenal of moves, Mega Aerodactyl is very good against offense. Weaken opposing teams as much as possible to give Mega Aerodactyl a chance to sweep late game.
  • Weakening opposing bulky Water- and Ground- types is vital, as they can stop Mega Aerodactyl's sweep with ease. (I would mention some of the main ones, most importantly Hippowdon and Gliscor, because when using Aerodactyl these two are really annoying)
  • Take advantage of choiced (You mention revenge killing later in this point, so speciafy Scarf variants because Gengar and even Latias to an extent can viably run Specs) Pokemon locked into resisted moves like Latias and Gengar, as Pursuit trapping these means they cannot outspeed and revenge kill Mega Aerodactyl later in the game. (Choice Scarf Latias runs STABs and often 2 utility moves or Ice Beam; the only resisted move it would lock into with be HP Fire but it's not particularly common, so instead of resisted hits, you can mention weaker hits like -2 Draco etc

Team Options
========

  • Teammates that can threaten bulky Ground- and Water- types are necessary, as Mega Aerodactyl cannot break past them by itself. As such, Grass- types like Breloom, Serperior, and Celebi make for fantastic offensive teammates.
  • Hard-hitting Pokemon such as Swords Dance Cobalion, Primarina, and Hydreigon can weaken opposing bulky teams and give Mega Aerodactyl a better chance at cleaning late game. (Hydreigon isn't necessarily a breaker; it can hit hard but that's generally with Draco so it's not the best example)
  • Due to its Stealth Rock weakness, Mega Aerodactyl appreciates hazard control. Tentacruel, Empoleon, and Starmie can all clear hazards and simultaneously pressure opposing Ground- types. (I would also mention some Grass-type removal options because they pair really well due to the ability to beat fat Water- and Ground-types; Serperior, Tsareena, and Rotom-C work well)
  • It is imperative to have an answer to Scizor, as Bullet Punch can easily OHKO Mega Aerodactyl. Swampert and Hippowdon can both reliably handle Scizor and setup Stealth Rock to wear down opposing teams. Hippowdon also provides Sandstorm support, which allows Mega Aerodactyl to switch in easier versus Latias, Hydreigon, and Mega Pidgeot.
  • You touch on Stealth Rock in the above point, but it needs to be emphasised more than as added bonus for a Scizor check because SR really punishes the switches that Aero forces and allows it to get more KOs.
  • Scizor is a fantastic teammate, as it can wear down bulky Water- types and also bring in Mega Aerodactyl safely via U-turn.

[SET]
name: Roost
move 1: Roost
move 2: Stone Edge
move 3: Ice Fang
move 4: Pursuit / Earthquake
item: Aerodactylite
ability: Unnerve
nature: Jolly
evs: 4 Def / 252 Atk / 252 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
========

  • Roost provides longevity and prevents Mega Aerodactyl from being easily worn down by Stealth Rock. (You can talk about how Roost can help it pressure some bulky offense/balance as well as straight offense due to the ability to come in several times and hit hard)
  • Stone Edge is Mega Aerodactyl's strongest STAB attack, allowing it to deal heavy damage against unresisted foes.
  • Ice Fang is a valuable coverage move to hit Ground- types such as Gliscor and Krookodile, which would otherwise wall this set easily.
  • Pursuit is utilized in the final spot to trap and remove Ghost- and Psychic- types like Latias, Gengar, and Chandelure. If these Pokemon are not of particular threat to the team, Earthquake can be used to hit Steel- types and prevent them from walling Mega Aerodactyl. (Make Earthquake a separate point)

Set Details
========

  • Max speed EVs coupled with a Jolly nature allow Mega Aerodactyl to be as fast as possible and outspeed the entire unboosted metagame.
  • Max attack increases Mega Aerodactyl's power output.
  • Unnerve prevents foes from consuming berries. (I'd link this to being just a pre-Mega ability because it's useless in a practical situation ebcause if you trigger Shuca or whatever you'd have Tough Claws then)
  • Mega Aerodactyl obtains Tough Claws upon mega evolving, which increases its contact based moves' power by 30%.

Usage Tips
========

  • Due to the sheer amount of switches that Mega Aerodactyl forces, it can find a lot of opportunities to Roost on a predicted switch-in.
  • Try to bring in Mega Aerodactyl in against Flying- or Ground- types that it walls such as Togekiss and Gliscor, as this is a prime opportunity to Roost.
  • Because this set can only run three attacks in total, it should be used to support the rest of the team instead of trying to sweep late game.
  • If the last move is Pursuit, Steel- types need to be weakened, as Mega Aerodactyl can only do minor damage against them.
  • Talk about Pursuit trapping with it and how removing Latias/Gengar/Chandelure helps teammates sweep late-game
  • Bulky Water- and Ground- types wall Mega Aerodactyl regardless of the final move, so attempt to weaken those as much as possible to prevent them from switching in every time.

Team Options
========

  • Due to this set's limited coverage, Mega Aerodactyl needs to be paired with Pokemon that can deal with the missing coverage move.
  • If Pursuit is used, Mega Aerodactyl appreciates something that can pressure Steel- type Pokemon. Strong Fighting- and Water- types such as Cobalion, Primarina, and Swampert can all pose a big threat to opposing Steel- types through their STAB attacks. (Water doesn't hit Steel super effectively; Primarina can nuke them with Hydro Pump but they hit it hard, so instead I'd talk about Fire-types like Infernape and Chandelure because they pressure Steel-types more directly)
  • If Earthquake is ran over Pursuit, Mega Aerodactyl appreciates other Pursuit trappers that can remove potential choice scarfers. Scizor and Krookodile are good teammates, as both can trap Latias and Gengar, facilitating Mega Aerodactyl's job of cleaning late game.
  • This set still struggles against bulky Water-, Ground-, and Steel- types such as Swampert, Hippowdon, and Mega Aggron. Hard-hitting Grass- and Dragon- types that can pressure these Pokemon, such as Breloom, Serperior, and Calm Mind Latias, are greatly appreciated and have good offensive synergy with Mega Aerodactyl. (You already mention Steel-types in this section, so bump the Mega Aggron example up there and keep this point just for Water- and Ground-types. When talking about CM Latias in regards to Steel-types, Electrium Z is the only way it effectively deals with them, so specify that if you're bumpin that example up because its STAB Z-move don't do much unless it's boosted a lot)
  • Mention entry hazard setters + removal options. Even though it is a Roost set, it doesn't like coming in on SR a lot and to weaken teams hazards are very useful.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

  • Due to the amount of switches that Mega Aerodactyl produces, Stealth Rock can be used if no other member on the team contains it. (Talk about how this removes a more useful moveslot)
  • Substitute is an option to ease prediction and is effective against opposing offensive builds. (Same issue as above, and it also weakens it a lot in addition so SR so it can't do much more than once)
  • Wing Attack can be used to hit Grass- types like Breloom and Serperior for more damage, but is generally inferior to the other moves.
  • Aqua Tail hits certain Ground- types such as Hippowdon and Krookodile harder than Ice Fang, but Ice Fang provides better overall coverage.
  • Hone Claws turns Mega Aerodactyl into a potential scary late game sweeper, but it is easily revenge killed by choice scarfers and priority moves. (Talk about how it also makes Stone Edge a reliable STAB move)
  • Fire Fang can OHKO opposing unsuspecting Scizor but possesses no other utility.
  • I would reorder this secton to Aqua Tail - Wing Attack - Hone Claws - SR - Sub - Fire Fang for relevance in the metagame

Checks and Counters
===================

**Water- types**: Defensive Water- types such as Swampert, Slowbro, and Suicune take little damage from all of Mega Aerodactyl's attacks and can easily 2HKO it back with their STAB attacks. (Mention Scald here, which can be a problem for Roost variants if they choose to stay in)

**Ground- types**: Defensive Ground- types like Hippowdon and Swampert can handle any attack aimed at them and beat Mega Aerodactyl through Toxic or super-effective attacks. They can also setup Stealth Rock to pressure Mega Aerodactyl.

**Steel- types**: Bulky Steel- types such as Mega Aggron and Scizor can stomach a couple hits from Mega Aerodactyl due to their high defense stat and can OHKO back with their strong Steel- type STAB attacks. Empoleon and Cobalion can survive a single Earthquake (all 4 of your examples can, and Empoleon only OHKOes after SR) and OHKO back with their STAB attacks as well.

**Priority moves**: Bullet Punch from Scizor is super-effective and can easily OHKO Mega Aerodactyl with ease. Mach Punch from Life Orb Breloom is a 2HKO, so Mega Aerodactyl has to stay above half health to reliably beat Breloom. Although uncommon, Aqua Jet from Crawdaunt can also easily OHKO Mega Aerodactyl.

Stoward

Ah, you're finally awake
Hi, AM Check. Implement what you agree with. Honestly I quite like the analysis, so please don't get the wrong idea by me dropping a novel here :P

[OVERVIEW]

  • Mega Aerodactyl is also susceptible to Stealth Rock and the powerful priority moves that flood the UU metagame.
I feel like this overview is kinda lacking for an A+ Ranked mon. I mean you've definitely covered the basics of "Maero is hella speedy and it's got a nice attack stat" and the sorts of things that can be covered in a dex search, however, I feel like the overview should also specify what Mega Aerodactyl does for the tier (wallbreaking, speed control, offensive bird check etc). Also I feel like it should be worthwhile mentioning that Mega Aerodactyl requires a mega slot, which limits teambuilding.
Also when you talk about its movepool, like Martha mentioned in her AM check, you should talk about it's 4MSS, it gets a lot of really cool utility moves such as Taunt, SR, Defog, Hone Claws which it doesn't get to take advantage of.
At the end of the overview, I'd like to see the competition that it faces. While Mega Aerodactyl's competition as an offensive Bird check is limited to Manectric, and I guess Raikou to a lesser extent, as an offensive Rock-type, there's basically just Nihilego and Terrakion, Mega Aerodactyl still faces competition to be placed on teams.

Offensive

Moves

  • Stone Edge is Mega Aerodactyl's best STAB attack, allowing it to hit unresisted foes hard.
  • Earthquake is Mega Aerodactyl's strongest way of hitting Steel- types that resist its dual STAB attacks such as Mega Aggron, Cobalion, and Empoleon.
Pretty happy with moves, but I feel like you should also add that Pursuit punishes literally any foe that tries to switch out. Also Edge/quake tends to hit the majority of the tier for at least neutral damage. I agree with Martha that Aqua Tail should be a moves option, it hits other ground types harder than Ice Fang.

Usage Tips

  • Use Mega Aerodactyl's typing to bring it in against resisted hits from the likes of Mega Pidgeot, Togekiss, and Gliscor.
  • Take advantage of choiced Pokemon locked into resisted moves like Latias and Gengar, as Pursuit trapping these means they cannot outspeed and revenge kill Mega Aerodactyl later in the game.
Usage tips kinda seem lackluster here. While you've stated the fact that Mega Aerodactyl's best matchup is against offensive teams and that it tends to be a late-game sweeper. I'd like to see an individual bullet emphasizing the fact that it's a mid-late game sweeper. Also mention how it's worn down easily, so avoid bringing it in religiously - especially if Stealth Rock is up. I'd also like to see something here about Utilizing Mega Aerodactyl's speed tier to revenge kill faster foes such as Mega Pidgeot, Beedrill, and slower scarfers such as Togekiss and Chandelure.

Team Options

  • Teammates that can threaten bulky Ground- and Water- types are necessary, as Mega Aerodactyl cannot break past them by itself. As such, Grass- types like Breloom, Serperior, and Celebi make for fantastic offensive teammates.
  • Hard-hitting Pokemon such as Swords Dance Cobalion, Primarina, and Hydreigon can weaken opposing bulky teams and give Mega Aerodactyl a better chance at cleaning late game.
  • Due to its Stealth Rock weakness, Mega Aerodactyl appreciates hazard control. Tentacruel, Empoleon, and Starmie can all clear hazards and simultaneously pressure opposing Ground- types.
  • Scizor is a fantastic teammate, as it can wear down bulky Water- types and also bring in Mega Aerodactyl safely via U-turn.
I kinda feel like team options could be expanded on. Many of the team options seem one-sided, only really talking about how Aerodactyl appreciates certain mons, but doesn't really mention why they synergize with Mega Aerodactyl. Also I feel like some of the partners that are mentioned are more noteworthy than others. For example, in the grass-type bullet, Breloom not only Threatens bulky waters, it also threatens steels that Aerodactyl dislikes facing, and can revenge foes such as Mega Sharpedo. It also appreciates Aerodactyl's ability to check birds.

I'll do the roost set later

Other Options

  • Due to the amount of switches that Mega Aerodactyl produces, Stealth Rock can be used if no other member on the team contains it.
  • Substitute is an option to ease prediction and is effective against opposing offensive builds.
  • Fire Fang can OHKO opposing unsuspecting Scizor but possesses no other utility.
I feel like taunt should be in OO, as the fact that it's a fast taunt user means that it's able to prevent suicide leads such as Azelf - who tend not to run magic coat these days, and it's useful against stall matchups as it prevents recovery, mons from spamming toxic and if you really wanna flex, you can prevent rocks or defog, but maero loses to a lot of those. I'd also like to see some reasoning as to why moves such as Stealth Rock aren't moves mentions.

Checks and Counters

**Water- types**: Defensive Water- types such as Swampert, Slowbro, and Suicune take little damage from all of Mega Aerodactyl's attacks and can easily 2HKO it back with their STAB attacks.

Empoleon and Cobalion can survive a single Earthquake and OHKO back with their STAB attacks as well.

Since you've mentioned it's Stealth Rock weakness a bunch of times, I feel like that should also make it into the C&C list. While the roost set is less bothered by it, It still limits its switchins and forces it to recover. Furthermore, Mega Aerodactyl is quite hindered by burns and paralysis, as it's main selling points are its high attack and speed stats, so I feel like that could make it to the bottom of the C&C list. Mega Aerodactyl also dislikes faster foes such as a boosted Mega Sharpedo, and fast Choice Scarfers such as Infernape and Terrakion, so I feel like that should make it into C&C as well.

Overview
A sizeable 135 base attack coupled with Tough Claws and a wide arsenal of moves allows Mega Aerodactlyl to hit a vast amount of the tier super effectively.
Elaborate on what are Mega Aerodactyl's wide arsenal of moves.

Mention that the combination of Mega Aerodactyl's high Speed and Hone Claws make it a good Pursuit trapper, and mention some Pursuit targets.

However, even with its vast movepool, Mega Aerodactyl still does not possess the necessary firepower to break through some of UU's bulkier walls.
What are UU's bulkier walls? Give examples.
Mega Aerodactyl is also susceptible to Stealth Rock and the powerful priority moves that flood the UU metagame.
Mention that it is susceptible to Stealth Rock because of its Flying-type. I know this is super nitpicky, but we wanna make it as perfect as possible! You should also mention what are the priority users.

Set
Okay so, this is a major change in your analysis. We, the QC team, decided to merge the two sets into one set. It should be like this:
name: Offensive
move 1: Stone Edge
move 2: Ice Fang / Aqua Tail
move 3: Earthquake / Fire Fang
move 4: Pursuit / Roost
item: Aerodactylite
ability: Unnerve
nature: Jolly
evs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe

Moves
Mention some Stone Edge targets.

Mega Aerodactyl doesn't run Flying-STAB on this set. Nitpicky, but important. Fix this. Also, I wouldn't mention Mega Aggron as a target here because it literally bounces off Mega Aggron's body. Just mention Stakataka instead.

On Ice Fang targets, remove Hippowdon. Even with Ice Fang, Mega Aerodactyl can't really touch it.

Mention Aqua Tail, Fire Fang, Roost, Stealth Rock, and Wing Attack. Mention that Roost is nice for longevity, especially if the team already has a Pursuit user.

Set Details
Max speed along with a Jolly nature allow Mega Aerodactyl to be as fast as possible, outspeeding all of the unboosted metagame.
You can talk about how it also outspeeds slower Choice Scarf users, such as Chandelure and Volcanion.
Max attack makes Mega Aerodactyl as powerful as possible.
add: "and perform its role as efficiently as possible".
Mega Aerodactyl obtains Tough Claws upon mega evolving, which increases its contact based moves' power by 30%.
Mention that it specifically boosts Mega Aerodacty's coverage options and Pursuit.

Usage Tips
Mention that Mega Aerodactyl can be brought in to revenge kill stuff like Mega Pidgeot, Mega Beedrill, and Chandelure.

Mention that it shouldn't be brought in on Stealth Rock a lot of times, especially if it doesn't carry Roost.

Mention that coverage options, such as Earthquake and Ice Fang, should be sometimes used instead of Stone Edge against Pokemon that are also weak to Stone Edge, for example when they have taken prior damage and are in the range of the coverage moves because of Stone Edge not being as accurate. I don't think I did an amazing job on explaining myself here, so feel free to ask me what I mean if you don't understand.
Weakening opposing bulky Water- and Ground- types is vital, as they can stop Mega Aerodactyl's sweep with ease.
Elaborate on what are those Water- and Ground-types.

Team Options
It is imperative to have an answer to Scizor, as Bullet Punch can easily OHKO Mega Aerodactyl.
I would just dedicate this section to priority users as in general, so edit this section accordingly.
Due to its Stealth Rock weakness, Mega Aerodactyl appreciates hazard control. Tentacruel, Empoleon, and Starmie can all clear hazards and simultaneously pressure opposing Ground- types.
Tentacruel and Empoleon are pressured by Ground-types, such as Swampert and Seismitoad, more than they pressure them. You can fix it by either replacing them with other hazard removers, such as Tsareena, Rotom-C, and Serperior, or just edit the last part of the sentence.
Scizor is a fantastic teammate, as it can wear down bulky Water- types and also bring in Mega Aerodactyl safely via U-turn.
I would dedicate this section to pivots in general. Scizor is a good example, but give more examples.

Mention Fighting-types, such as Breloom, Heracross and Bewear. They appreciate Mega Aerodactyl's Pursuit support a lot.
Hard-hitting Pokemon such as Swords Dance Cobalion, Primarina, and Hydreigon can weaken opposing bulky teams and give Mega Aerodactyl a better chance at cleaning late game.
Now that you have a section on Fighting-types, you can replace this section with "special wallbreakers", which take advantage of physical walls that Mega Aerodactyl can't break through. Primarina and Hydreigon are good examples, but you can also add more.

Remove the Roost set.

Other Options
Move Hone Claws to the top of the list.

Remove Stealth Rock, Wing Attack, Aqua Tail, and Fire Fang. we already talked about them in the moves section.

Mention that Substitute will cost an important coverage moveslot.

Mention Crunch; it allows Mega Aerodactyl to hit Psychic-types, such as Latias and Celebi harder.

Mention Taunt, which shuts down Pokemon that rely on support moves to beat Mega Aerodactyl, such as Alomomola.

Checks and Counters
Scizor isn't an example of a Pokemon that can stomach hits from Mega Aerodactyl, especially now that Fire Fang is on the main set.

I'd remove the "Although uncommon" on the Crawdaunt sentence in the Priority-users section. Crawdaunt is UU by usage, after all.

----

That's it for now. This is quite a lot, just tag me whenever you're done implementing. If I am satisfied with the implementation, you get 1/3. Feel free to ask me any question regarding the check.

EDIT: Slashed Roost with Pursuit, sorry for the inconvenience.

Sorry if this was a long check n_n Implemented all of this with a minor change: on Taunt in oo, I mentioned Hippowdon instead of Alomomola, as Alo can still beat Aero after being Taunted with Scald.

Also, this might be minor, but doesn't Mega Aerodactyl run both Roost and Pursuit in stall? I don't have a ton of experience with stall, but it would definitely seem nice to beat things like CM Chandelure, Sub Gengar, and SP Latias that can all be of nuisance. Not sure if to mention this somewhere else, slash the main set differently, or if I'm just plain wrong lol
On the Alomomola thing; you're generally right, sorry about it. I was just thinking about that I haven't seen Scald Alomomola in a while, most are just Knock Off + Toxic, which provide much more utility to stall teams. Even if it is Scald, it still has to burn you to beat you. Hippowdon is a better example here though, you're right on that.

Good point on the Roost thing, I talked to Eyan about it and he said that you could just explain that Roost is usable on any slot bar Stone Edge if your team covers the kinds of Gliscor and Rhyperior well already.

Good job, 1/3.

In overview, Mega Aerodactyl is not completely unable to bypass Hippowdon. Aqua Tail has the possibility to 2HKO after Stealth Rock or even the slightest amount of chip damage (which is not hard to get on hippo), and the rare Hone Claws sets can also break past it with ease. I'd recommend just replacing that example with like Mega Aggron or something, as it's a much more airtight Mega Aero answer as a whole.

"Mega Aerodactyl is also susceptible to Stealth Rock due to its part Flying-type and the powerful priority moves that flood the UU metagame, such as Bullet Punch from Breloom and Aqua Jet from Crawdaunt. "

In moves, Fire Fang is not COMPLETELY useless apart from hitting Scizor. It still gives Mega Aerodactyl something to hit Grass- and Steel-types like Breloom and Cobalion super effectively; hitting Grass-types is particularly useful if using Aqua Tail>Ice Fang.

In usage tips, that Fire Fang is often risky to use if Scizor is already in; it should either be used on the switch or if you predict Scizor to use anything other than Bullet Punch.

In team options, mention that Latias and Hydreigon are particularly useful partners (in the line that you mention them) because they can switch into and pressure most variants of Swampert relatively easily.

Saying general Dragon-types are checks to Breloom is pretty inaccurate. The only Dragon-types that check Breloom do so because of their secondary typings or ability+good bulk (Latias/Mega Altaria and Kommo-o to an extent, respectively).

Infernape is a particularly good partner. It heavily appreciates the removal of Chandelure and Latias via Pursuit as well as Mega Aerodactyl's ability to check Mega Pidgeot and Moltres, and it is capable of checking Scizor in return. Nasty Plot and mixed sets in particular are also capable of better pressuring Swampert and Mega Aggron, which Mega Aerodactyl greatly appreciates. Physical sets will, of course, still mandate an additional teammate that can heavily pressure Swampert and other various bulky Ground- and Water-types.

Mention in Checks and Counters in the Ground-types section that Aqua Tail mega aero variants can break past several ground-types more easily, particularly Hippowdon, Rhyperior, and Krookodile.

edit: fixed a typo with the last point

Overview
The first line is really fillery and doesn't say anything about what Mega Aerodactyl actually does. Use your fifth bullet to replace the first instead, rewording it to make sense as an opener.

Mega Aero actually can break through Hippowdon with just unboosted Aqua Tail (even more easily with Hone Claws), replace this with something like Mega Aggron.

change "Bullet Punch from Breloom" to Scizor lol. You can also mention that all common Choice Scarf users (give 2-3 examples) will outspeed it and hit hard with STAB or SE coverage, especially after Rocks damage.

Moves
Mention Flying-types like Togekiss and Crobat in the targets of Stone Edge.

For Pursuit, you can also mention that it grants chip damage on literally anything Mega Aero forces out, notably frailer neutral targets like Nihilego and Crobat.

Move the Wing Attack and Stealth Rock bullets under everything else since those aren't listed on the set.

Usage Tips

Mention that if a Hippowdon on either team has been in play, Mega Aero can take advantage of the sand to pivot into special attackers like Latias and Gengar even more easily and trap them.

In the avoiding Stealth Rock line mention it can directly come in on some Rock users like Gliscor and Hippowdon, avoiding the hazard damage and being able to fire off attacks right away.

Team Options

Mention Mega Aero's viability on stall teams, and that Pokemon like Blissey and Quagsire appreciate its ability to trap dangerous Stallbreakers like Sub CM Chandelure and CM Latias, as well as Revenge Kill threats like NP Togekiss and Taunt Crobat.

Mention Infernape > Breloom in Fighting-types. Add some of Cake's points in his amcheck.

Checks and Counters

Mention Klefki in the Steel-type line, it can come in in most of Aero's attacks, and proceed to wall it with Magnet Rise or cripple it with Thunder Wave.

Mention Rhyperior in Ground-types as well, also mention how Aqua Tail can beat all but Swampert.

Change Priority users to faster threats, drop Breloom, add Choice Scarf users, Hydreigon / Latias being the important ones.

Remove other Breloom mentions I possibly missed.

This was good, maero is just really customozable / versatile and there's a lot of ground to cover. 2/3 when you're done implementing this.

Overview
Mega Aerodactyl is also susceptible to Stealth Rock
- This is 100% true, but it's also susceptible to most chip damage, which is a problem when using non-Roost variants. Give a quick mention to this,
Mega Aerodactyl is also outsped by common Choice Scarf users such as Hydreigon and Latias, which can pack super effective coverage or revenge kill it after Stealth Rock damage.
- Scarf Flash Cannon Hydreigon isn't really a thing, that's more common on Specs sets. If you mean Latias carries super effective coverage (Ice Beam) the switch the two examples.

Moves

- Mention that Earthquake provides amazing neutral coverage with Stone Edge.
- Reorder this section to match the slashing on the set. Put Earthquake in Move 2 to match your description. Then make sure you mention Fire Fang higher than Awua Tail to reflect the new order.

Usage Tips

Use Mega Aerodactyl's typing to bring it in against resisted hits from the likes of Mega Pidgeot, Togekiss, and Gliscor.
- If Stealth Rock is not present / if running Roost.
Choice Scarf Pokemon locked into resisted moves like Gengar and Latias, as Pursuit trapping these means they cannot outspeed and revenge kill Mega Aerodactyl later in the game. Latias can be Pursuit trapped if it is locked into Draco Meteor after a stat drop.
- It's not really a resisted move so remove it from that first list.

Team Options
Teammates that can threaten bulky Ground- and Water-types are necessary, as Mega Aerodactyl cannot break past them by itself. As such, Grass- types like Serperior, Rotom-C, and Celebi make for fantastic offensive teammates. Due to its Stealth Rock weakness, Mega Aerodactyl appreciates hazard control. Tentacruel, Empoleon, Starmie, Serperior, Rotom-C, and Tsareena can all clear hazards; Serperior, Rotom-C, and Tsareena all resist and can pressure Water- and Ground-types.
- This is super repetitive so condense it.
Swampert and Hippowdon can both reliably handle Scizor
- They can both switch into BP yes, but they dont' really handle Scizor, especially not Roost sets. You mention Chandelure / Infernape as Scizor checks later, so you can cut the Sciaor check mention from these and just mention them as hazard support, which does pair really well with Aerodactyl because it forces so many switches.
- Proofread this section before GP because it gives the same points multiple times.

Other Options
Substitute is an option to ease prediction and is effective against opposing offensive builds; however, this will cost Mega Aerodactyl a valuable coverage slot.
- This also wears it down faster.

Checks and Counters

Defensive Water-types such as Swampert, Slowbro, and Suicune take little damage from all of Mega Aerodactyl's attacks and can easily 2HKO it back with their STAB attacks.
- They also theaten Scald burns too.
**Faster threats**:
- Call this section Priority Moves and Fatser Threats to fit the content.

QC 3/3 let's get this to GP

whats up man hitting u up with a non official grammar check. mainly super minor stuff grammatical stuff, hope this helps you out. super solid writing, no major complaints!

[OVERVIEW]

Mega Aerodactyl is one of the most dominant offensive Pokemon in the UnderUsed UU metagame thanks to its combination of speed, power, and versatility, allowing it to fit on every team archetype. Its immense 150 base 150 Speed makes it the fastest unboosted Pokemon in the tier. A sizeable sizable base 135 base attack Attack coupled with Tough Claws and a wide arsenal of moves, such as Stone Edge, Earthquake, Ice Fang, and Pursuit, allows Mega Aerodactlyl Aerodactyl to hit a vast amount of Pokemon in the tier super effectively. These qualities and Access to Pursuit lets it trap common Pokemon in the metagame, such as Latias, Gengar, and Chandelure. However, even with its vast movepool, Mega Aerodactyl still does not possess the necessary firepower to break through some of UU's bulkier walls, such as Swampert and Mega Aggron. Mega Aerodactyl is also susceptible to Stealth Rock, (AC) due to its being part Flying-type, (AC) and the powerful priority moves that flood the UU metagame, such as Bullet Punch from Scizor and Aqua Jet from Crawdaunt, and thus can be worn down rather easily when not packing Roost. Lastly, Mega Aerodactyl is also outsped by common Choice Scarf users such as Latias and Hydreigon, which can pack super effective coverage or and revenge kill it after Stealth Rock damage.

Moves
========

It's also useful for hitting Poison-, Rock-, and Fire-types like Tentacruel, Terrakion, and Volcanion, respectively. Ice Fang is a good coverage move that allows it to hit Ground-types, such as Gliscor and Krookodile, and Dragon-types, such as Latias and Hydreigon. Pursuit is the preferred move in the final slot, allowing Mega Aerodactyl to trap Pokemon like Latias, Gengar, and Chandelure,(AC) as well as frailer foes it forces out like Nihilego and Crobat for the rest of the team the text I deleted seems unnecessary to me, if you think you need it, move it to to right after "to trap Pokemon...". Alternatively, Roost provides longevity by preventing Mega Aerodactyl from being easily worn down by Stealth Rock and can be used over any move bar Stone Edge if the team has the tools necessary to deal with the likes of Gliscor and Rhyperior. Fire Fang can OHKO opposing an unsuspecting Scizor switching in on the switch, but Scizor can otherwise still beat Mega Aerodactyl with Bullet Punch. Aqua Tail hits certain Ground-types,(RC) such as Hippowdon and Krookodile,(RC) harder than Ice Fang, but Ice Fang provides better overall coverage. Due to the amount of switches that Mega Aerodactyl forces produces, Stealth Rock can be used if no other member on the team has contains it. Lastly, Wing Attack can be used to hit Grass-types like Serperior think this boy is OU now so should remove i think? and Celebi for more damage, but is generally inferior to the other moves.

Set Details
========

Maximum Speed investment alongside a Jolly nature allow Mega Aerodactyl to be as fast as possible, outspeeding all of the unboosted metagame and slower Choice Scarf users like Chandelure and Volcanion. Maximum Attack investment maximizes Mega Aerodactyl's offensive capabilities and lets it perform its role as efficiently as possible. Unnerve is the pre-Mega ability of choice, as it prevents foes from consuming berries. Mega Aerodactyl obtains Tough Claws upon Mega Evolving, which increases its contact based moves' power, such as Ice Fang and Pursuit, by 30%.

Usage Tips
========

Use Mega Aerodactyl's typing to bring it in against resisted hits from the likes of Mega Pidgeot, Togekiss, and Gliscor when Stealth Rock is not present or if it is running Roost. Mega Aerodactyl's high base Speed and coverage also allows allow it to be brought in to revenge kill Mega Manectric, Mega Pidgeot, Mega Beedrill, and Chandelure. Due to its wide arsenal of moves, Mega Aerodactyl is very good against offense. Weaken opposing teams as much as possible to give Mega Aerodactyl a chance to sweep late-(AH)game. Avoid bringing in Mega Aerodactyl into Stealth Rock, as this limits the amount of times it can come in throughout the match; this is especially important if Mega Aerodactyl is lacking Roost. However, do note that Mega Aerodactyl can pivot into some Stealth Rock users like Gliscor and Hippowdon to threaten them with its super effective coverage moves and avoid Stealth Rock damage. Take advantage of Choice Scarf Pokemon locked into resisted moves like Gengar and Nihilego, as Pursuit trapping these them means they cannot outspeed and revenge kill Mega Aerodactyl later in the game. Latias can be Pursuit trapped if it is locked into Draco Meteor after a stat drop. If a Hippowdon has recently been on the field and this part isn't necessary imo since it's sandstorm that matters, not hippowdon's presence sandstorm is up, Mega Aerodactyl can pivot into and trap foes like Gengar and Latias more easily due to its increased Special Defense.

Team Options
========

Teammates that can threaten bulky Ground- and Water-types are necessary, as Mega Aerodactyl cannot break past them by itself. As such, Grass- types like Serperior, Rotom-C,(RC) and Celebi make for fantastic offensive teammates. Swampert and Hippowdon can both setup Stealth Rock to wear down opposing teams, which is helpful due to the amount of switches Mega Aerodactyl forces. Hippowdon also provides sandstorm Sandstorm support, which allows Mega Aerodactyl to switch in more easily versus Latias, Hydreigon, and Mega Pidgeot. Special attacking wallbreakers, such as Primarina, Latias, and Hydreigon, can weaken opposing bulky teams and give Mega Aerodactyl a better chance at cleaning sweeping late game. Mega Aerodactyl can be really effective on stall teams, trapping stallbreakers like SubCM Chandelure and Calm Mind Latias and threatening out Flying-type stallbreakers such as Taunt Crobat and Nasty Plot Togekiss.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

Hone Claws turns Mega Aerodactyl into a potential potentially scary late-game sweeper, but it is easily revenge killed by Choice Scarfers and priority moves. Substitute is an option to ease prediction and is effective against opposing offensive builds; however, this will cost Mega Aerodactyl a valuable coverage slot and wear it down faster. Crunch hits Psychic-types,(AC) such as Latias and Celebi, (AC) harder than its other coverage moves but lacks Ice Fang's coverage or Pursuit's utility. Taunt can be used to shut down defensive walls that rely on support moves to beat Mega Aerodactyl, such as Blissey, Hippowdon, and Alomomola lacking Scald.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Water-(no space)types**: Defensive Water-types such as Swampert, Slowbro, and Suicune take little damage from all of Mega Aerodactyl's attacks and can easily 2HKO it back with their STAB attacks, as well as threaten to burn it with Scald.

**Ground-(no space)types**: Defensive Ground-types like Hippowdon, Rhyperior, and Swampert can handle any attack aimed at them and beat Mega Aerodactyl through Toxic or super-(RH) effective attacks. They can also setup Stealth Rock to pressure Mega Aerodactyl. However, Ground-types should watch out for Aqua Tail if they don't resist it.

**Steel-(no space)types**: Bulky Steel-types such as Mega Aggron can stomach hits from Mega Aerodactyl due to their high defense Defense stat and OHKO back with their strong Steel-type STAB attacks. Empoleon and Cobalion can survive a single Earthquake and OHKO Mega Aerodactyl with their STAB attacks as well. Klefki can threaten Mega Aerodactyl out with its status moves and wall it if it has Magnet Rise.

**Priority Moves and Faster Threats**: Bullet Punch from Scizor is super effective and can OHKO Mega Aerodactyl with ease. Aqua Jet from Crawdaunt can also easily OHKO Mega Aerodactyl. Choice Scarf users like Hydreigon and Latias can outspeed and beat Mega Aerodactyl with prior damage.

Weakening opposing bulky Water- and Ground-types such as Slowbro, Swampert, and Hippowdon is vital, as they can stop Mega Aerodactyl's sweep with ease. Take advantage of Choice Scarf Pokemon such as Gengar and Nihilego locked into resisted moves like Gengar and Nihilego, as Pursuit trapping these them means they cannot outspeed and revenge kill Mega Aerodactyl later in the game. Latias can be Pursuit trapped if it is locked into Draco Meteor after a stat drop. If a Hippowdon has recently been on the field and this part isn't necessary imo since it's sandstorm that matters, not hippowdon's presence (yeah but hippo is the only viable user so up to writer whether to keep) sandstorm is up, Mega Aerodactyl can pivot into and trap foes like Gengar and Latias more easily due to its increased Special Defense.

Team Options
========

Teammates that can threaten bulky Ground- and Water-types are necessary, as Mega Aerodactyl cannot break past them by itself. As such, Grass- types like Serperior, Rotom-C,(RC) and Celebi make for fantastic offensive teammates. Due to its Stealth Rock weakness, Mega Aerodactyl appreciates hazard control from the likes of Tentacruel, Empoleon, Starmie, Serperior, Rotom-C, and Tsareena. It is imperative to have an answer to priority users such as Scizor, as Bullet Punch can easily OHKO Mega Aerodactyl. Swampert and Hippowdon can both setup set up (setup = noun; set up = verb) Stealth Rock to wear down opposing teams, which is helpful due to the amount number of switches Mega Aerodactyl forces. Hippowdon also provides sandstorm Sandstorm support, which allows Mega Aerodactyl to switch in more easily versus Latias, Hydreigon, and Mega Pidgeot. Special attacking wallbreakers, such as Primarina, Latias, and Hydreigon, can weaken opposing bulky teams and give Mega Aerodactyl a better chance at cleaning sweeping late-(AH)game. Mega Aerodactyl can be really effective on stall teams, trapping stallbreakers like SubCM Substitute + Calm Mind Chandelure and Calm Mind Latias and threatening out Flying-type stallbreakers such as Taunt Crobat and Nasty Plot Togekiss.

Other Options
=============

Hone Claws turns Mega Aerodactyl into a potential potentially scary late-game sweeper, but it is easily revenge killed by Choice Scarf users and priority moves.

===================

They can also setup set up Stealth Rock to pressure Mega Aerodactyl.

(also mamoswine)

[OVERVIEW]

Mega Aerodactyl is one of the most dominant offensive Pokemon in the UU metagame thanks to its combination of speed Speed, power, and versatility, allowing it to fit on every team archetype. Access to Pursuit lets it trap common Pokemon, such as Latias, Gengar, and Chandelure. However, even with its vast movepool, Mega Aerodactyl still does not possess the necessary firepower to break through some of UU's bulkier walls, such as Swampert and Mega Aggron. Mega Aerodactyl is also susceptible to Stealth Rock due to its part Flying-type Flying typing and weak to the powerful priority moves that flood the UU metagame, such as Bullet Punch from Scizor and Ice Shard from Mamoswine, and meaning that it can be worn down rather easily when not packing Roost. Lastly, Mega Aerodactyl is also outsped by common Choice Scarf users such as Latias and Hydreigon, which can revenge kill it after Stealth Rock damage.

Moves
========

(perhaps mention either here or in usage tips that fire fang can also be used if predicting literally any atk other than bp from sciz, although it's risky) Aqua Tail hits Ground-types such as Hippowdon, Rhyperior, and Krookodile super effectively. Wing Attack enables Mega Aerodactyl to hit Grass-types such as Celebi and Mega Venusaur Amoonguss hard. Aqua Tail hits certain Ground-types such as Hippowdon and Krookodile harder than Ice Fang but misses out on hitting Dragon-types like Latias and Hydreigon. Ice Fang is a good (it isn't) coverage move that allows it to hit Ground-types, such as Krookodile, and Dragon-types, such as Latias and Hydreigon. Due to the amount of switches that Mega Aerodactyl forces, Stealth Rock can be used if no other member on the team has it.

Set Details
========

Mega Aerodactyl obtains Tough Claws upon Mega Evolving, which increases its contact-based moves' power, such as Ice Fang Aqua Tail and Pursuit, by 30%.

Usage Tips
========

Avoid bringing in Mega Aerodactyl into Stealth Rock, as this limits the number of times it can come in throughout the match; this is especially important if Mega Aerodactyl is lacking Roost.
