[SET COMMENTS]
Mega Altaria is a fearsome setup sweeper thanks to its good bulk and Roost enabling it to set up with Dragon Dance, and its ability Pixilate makes it dominate Dark and Dragon matchups. It also gives Dragon-type teams a much needed Dragon immunity for mirror matchups. After Dragon Dance, Mega Altaria can outpace and take care of Spectrier, Mega Lopunny, and non-Choice Scarf Greninja. Earthquake is used to hit Pokemon like Alolan Muk, Toxapex, and Heatran.

Teammates like Latias, Latios, and Hydregion love Mega Altaria for threatening Dark and Fighting-types like Mega Sableye, Hydregion, and Terrakion. Garchomp is a much needed partner to take care of Steel-types like Excadrill and Mega Scizor. It also take care of Poison-types like Toxapex and provide Stealth Rock support. Pokemon such as Hydregion and Kommo-o are vital to handle Steel-types that Mega Altaria cannot beat like Celesteela, Jirachi, and Skarmory. Dragonite can help with walls such as Blissey and Celesteela if running Choice Band or can use Dragon Dance to take care of Pokemon like Heatran and Mega Venusaur. Mega Altaria has trouble with Poison-types like Toxapex and Mega Venusaur, so it loves partners like Latios and Latias, which can also provide Defog support to get rid of troublesome entry hazards. Zygarde-10% and Duraludon greatly help against Fairy teams, taking care of Mega Diancie and Tapu Lele, which unboosted Mega Altaria struggles against.

move 3: Roost
move 4: Refresh / Heal Bell
item: Altarianite
ability: Natural Cure
nature: Impish
evs: 252 HP / 16 Def / 240 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]
Dragon Dance is able to turn Dark, Fighting, and Dragon matchups in Mega Altaria's favor while outpacing threats like Greninja and Keldeo after one Dragon Dance. Refresh is the preferred move in the last slot that allows Mega Altaria to freely set up on Pokemon that run status-inducing moves like Mega Sableye, Blissey, Porygon2, and Klefki. Heal Bell can be ran over Refresh to heal teammates' status as well. Natural Cure lets Altaria absorb status for teammates before Mega Evolving. 252 HP EVs allow Mega Altaria to set up on Porygon2 and Latias, while 16 Defense EVs allows Mega Altaria to be as bulky as possible. 240 EVs in Speed outpace Diggersby and Adamant Choice Band Dracovish.

All teammates love Mega Altaria for coming in on Dragon-type attacks, taking care of Mega Sableye and the defensive core of Blissey and Porygon2, and using Heal Bell. Mega Altaria loves Garchomp for taking care of Steel-types like Excadrill and Mega Scizor. Garchomp can also provide Stealth Rock support to make Mega Altaria able to sweep better. Pokemon like Hydregion and Kommo-o to take care of Steel-types like Celesteela, Melmetal, and Jirachi. Mega Altaria has trouble with Poison-types like Mega Venusaur and Nidoking, so Latias and Kyurem are great partners. Mega Altaria has trouble with strong and fast Fairy-types like Mega Diancie and Tapu Koko, so Choice Scarf Duraludon and Dragagle can take care of them. Latios and Latias are great Defog users, while Latias can also use Healing Wish. Dragalge is good to provide Mega Altaria with Toxic Spikes, improving the Fairy matchup and making it easier for Mega Altaria to sweep.

Facade can be used on the Dragon Dance set over Return due to Mega Altaria frequently getting status ailments, but without status, it is weaker than Return and usually not worthwhile.

**Steel-types**: Steel-types like Jirachi and Excadrill can outpace Mega Altaria and take care of it with Iron Head. Pokemon like Celesteela, Aegislash, and Ferrothorn can tank any attacks from Mega Altaria and take care of it with their attacks. Mega Scizor is also a problem because it can take care of boosted Mega Altaria with Bullet Punch.

**Poison-types**: Poison-types such as Mega Venusaur and Galarian Weezing can take a boosted attack from Mega Altaria and KO it with Sludge Bomb or hinder it with Will-O-Wisp.

*Phasers and Haze**: Phazers and Haze users like Skarmory and Toxapex can get rid of Mega Altaria's boosts.

**Fairy-types**: Mega Diancie, Mimikyu, and Tapu Lele can outpace a unboosted Mega Altaria and OHKO it with their STAB attacks.

**Ditto**: Ditto is able to copy Mega Altaria's boosts and reverse sweep.

- Mention that it gives Dragon teams a immunity against dragon type attacks
- "Natural Cure is it's base ability to be able to get rid of status on the switch." Mention it's prior to mega evolution
- Mention that Latias also acts as hazard control and provides healing wish support
- Move the Garchomp mention to the beginning of the second paragraph since its one of the more important teammates to have and add that Garchomp also switches into Mega Scizor and KOs with Fire Blast

name: Bulky Dragon Dance

- Remove Weezing-G as an example that Refresh helps set up against freely, add Blissey as an example
- Add a brief explanation about Natural Care here as well
- Same here, move Garchomp to the beginning of the paragraph
- Mention Latias and Latios can also act as hazard control and the former can provide healing wish support

- Mention its good defenses allow it to setup DD easily in conjunction with Roost.
- Add Toxapex as a Target for Earthquake.
- 'It also gives Dragon-type teams a much needed Dragon-type immunity. ' why much needed Dragon-type immunity? For Dragon mirrors mainly, so mention that here specifically.
- Add Dragonite as a teammate to soften up walls with CB set or weaken shared checks with DD, site notable examples of Pokemon they both can weaken for each other.
- when you talk about Garchomp taking care of steel types for Mega alt, then also talk about Kommo o and hydreigon next since you are talking about steel-type Pokemon against which mega alt struggles. You may also mention Hydreigon and Kommo-o breaking apart defensive cores such as that of water and normal for mega alt.

[SET 2 COMMENTS]
- Move mention of hydreigon and kommo o right after you talk about Garchomp and tie that with them beating steel types for it + other benefit.
- Add klefki as a Pokemon example that commonly runs status since Mega alt does not care about it and can dd + refresh.
- Add Dragalge as a teammate for mega alt, mention Tspikes from it and its refresh + dd set improving the fairy matchup for dragon teams

Mega Altaria is a fearsome setup sweeper thanks to its good defensive bulk and Roost to make it able enabling it to set up with Dragon Dance, and its ability Pixelite, as this makes it dominate the Dark- and Dragon-type matchup Pixilate makes it dominate Dark and Dragon matchups.
