BH Mega Audino [QC 3/3] [GP 2/2]

[OVERVIEW]
Mega Audino's solid mixed bulk and fantastic typing with key immunities to Dragon and Ghost and a resistance to Bug allow it to be one of the best switch-ins to defensive Pokemon. This is amplified by immunities and resistances to common utility moves such as Spectral Thief, Core Enforcer, U-turn, and Knock Off, along with a low base 50 Speed that lets it underspeed most of the other defensive pivots such as Giratina, Zygarde-C, and Primal Kyogre. Its immunity to Core Enforcer also allows it to run Magic Bounce and Poison Heal very effectively without having them removed. Defensively, its typing also offers an immunity to powerful moves like Draco Meteor and Moongeist Beam and a resistance to boosted Power Trip. This allows it to run Unaware to check some setup sweepers that rely on Moongeist Beam or Power Trip to break Unaware. Its solid mixed bulk along with a neutrality to common coverage and STAB moves from -ate Pokemon also makes a Soundproof set viable. Unfortunately, Mega Audino’s typing leaves it weak to Steel- and Poison-type moves, including common coverage moves such as Sunsteel Strike and Anchor Shot, which combined with its passivity allows dangerous attackers such as Kartana, Necrozma-DM, and Mega Gengar to switch in safely. In addition, its typing doesn’t offer too many resistances and it also doesn't have spectacular bulk to offset this, meaning it doesn't provide much defensive utility against strong wallbreakers such as Sheer Force Mega Mewtwo Y, Choice Band Mega Mewtwo X, and Primal Groudon and the team might not be able to cover some offensive threats.

Moves
========

Shore Up keeps Mega Audino healthy, and can get a boost to its recovery because Mega Audino is a solid switch-in to the most common Sand Stream user, Mega Tyranitar. U-turn allows Mega Audino to pivot, and with its low base 50 Speed it is able to underspeed most Pokemon and bring in a teammate safely. Alternatively, Anchor Shot allows Mega Audino to trap Imposter Pokemon and PP stall them. However, having to forgo U-turn means Mega Audino can lose momentum in situations and can no longer provide slow pivoting. Volt Switch is on option over U-turn to allow Mega Audino to be Imposter-proofed by Ground-types with trapping moves such as Primal Groudon and Zygarde-C. It also bypasses Rocky Helmet, Baneful Bunker, and Spiky Shield. Knock Off can remove defensive items like Leftovers, Rocky Helmet, and Safety Goggles, annoy offensive Pokemon by removing their boosting item, and scout for Z-Crystals. It can also notably remove Mega Gengar's Spooky Plate, letting Mega Audino act as a great check to it thanks to Magic Bounce and its immunity to Ghost-type moves. Knock Off also deters Imposter Chansey from switching in freely by threatening to remove its Eviolite. Entrainment notably allows Mega Audino to defeat Poison Heal Xerneas thanks to its solid Special Defense and immunity to Lovely Kiss, especially combined with Anchor Shot to trap and remove it, and deters other Poison Heal Pokemon such as Primal Kyogre and Regigigas from switching in. However, note that Xerneas can overwhelm Mega Audino with enough Quiver Dance boosts, so running Spectral Thief or Topsy-Turvy is recommended. Defog is a good choice for teams that lack entry hazard removal, as Magic Bounce will prevent hazards from being set again after Mega Audino uses Defog. Spectral Thief is an option to deter setup and allows Mega Audino to take on Poison Heal Xerneas better.

Set Details
========

A negative Speed nature and minimum Speed IVs allow Mega Audino to underspeed most defensive Pokemon to provide a slow pivot and gain momentum. Sassy nature lets Mega Audino take special attacks like Primal Kyogre's Revelation Dance, Normalize Mega Gengar’s Boomburst, and Poison Heal Xerneas's Moonblast better. Leftovers allows Mega Audino to mitigate chip damage. Alternatively, Rocky Helmet punishes contact moves, including the omnipresent U-turn, and also can KO Sturdy Shedinja after its Protective Pads has been removed. Lagging Tail is an option to guarantee underspeeding Imposter Pokemon and other base 50 Speed Pokemon like Registeel and Chansey. Magic Bounce makes Mega Audino a reliable switch-in to both defensive and offensive Pokemon that rely on status moves such as Poison Heal Mega Mewtwo X, Giratina, and Zygarde-C.

Usage Tips
========

Mega Audino is capable of safely switching in against most defensive Pokemon thanks to its typing and Magic Bounce being able to completely wall foes like Giratina, Zygarde-C, Registeel, and Yveltal. In tandem with its low Speed, this makes Mega Audino an excellent pivot, and U-turn is generally a safe move to click. However, some defensive Pokemon run Poison Fang, which can cripple Mega Audino, so scout for it before liberally switching in. Scouting for offensive Pokemon that Mega Audino can check is important, as many Pokemon can heavily damage if not outright KO Mega Audino if they are running a different set. These include Mega Gengar, which can bluff Normalize with Adaptability, and Dark-types, which can bluff defensive sets with offensive sets carrying Sunsteel Strike. Mega Audino also needs to be careful if the opposing Pokemon's team has a wallbreaker such as Choice Band Mega Mewtwo X or Kartana that can threaten it, as the opposing Pokemon can double switch out or pivot with U-turn. Mega Audino can also safely switch into some offensive Pokemon such as Poison Heal Mega Mewtwo X, Normalize Mega Gengar, and Poison Heal Xerneas if it carries Entrainment. Don’t attempt to stay in against powerful attackers such as Mega Mewtwo Y and Mega Diancie, as while Mega Audino can potentially take a hit, proper checks such as Registeel are much better answers. However, if the opponent has a Pokemon that Mega Audino can recover for free on, staying in to use Knock Off or U-turn is a plausible option to remove their item or scout for the set. Keep entry hazards off the field, since Mega Audino is susceptible to all forms of them, especially Toxic Spikes. It also requires being healthy to check some offensive Pokemon such as Poison Heal Xerneas, and hazards can wear it down into KO range. While Mega Audino can prevent hazards from some Pokemon such as Giratina and Poison Heal Mega Mewtwo X, other setters like Primal Groudon and Mega Diancie can force Mega Audino out. Knock Off is very spammable, because in general the opposing Pokemon will eventually want to pivot out, and thanks to Mega Audino's low Speed they will most likely fail to pivot after the Knock Off, allowing you to remove the switch-in's item. This is especially effective on Pokemon like Primal Kyogre and Aegislash that will always outspeed Mega Audino. If combined with Lagging Tail, Mega Audino will always go after the opposing Pokemon, guaranteeing the removal of the switch-in's item.

Team Options
========

Steel type Pokemon such as Registeel, Celesteela, and Aegislash are good partners because they can take on many strong wallbreakers that can pressure Mega Audino such as Mega Mewtwo Y and -ate users such as Mega Diancie and Kyurem-W. They can also take on the Poison- and Steel-type moves that threaten Mega Audino super effectively. Flash Fire Celesteela can also check Primal Groudon, while Aegislash can check Mega Mewtwo X. Bulky physical walls such as Mega Slowbro and Prankster Giratina can answer Mega Mewtwo X, Kartana, and Necrozma-DM, all of which easily force Mega Audino out. Mega Audino is weak to Mega Gengar's Poison-type STAB attacks, so specially bulky Pokemon like RegenVest Yveltal and Primal Kyogre are useful to switch in against it. Mega Audino can give opportunities for opposing Pokemon to set up, so answers to setup sweepers are needed; examples include Unaware and Prankster Pokemon such as Primal Kyogre, Zygarde-C, and Giratina. Pokemon utilizing -ate abilities like Mega Diancie can also revenge kill opponent setup sweepers. Strong wallbreakers like Mega Mewtwo Y and Mega Gengar appreciate Mega Audino's slow pivoting and ability to sponge common utility moves like Spectral Thief, Knock Off, and U-turn from defensive Pokemon. Imposter users can scout for opposing movesets and determine if Mega Audino can safely switch in. For example, Mega Audino is a solid switch-in to defensive variants of Mega Tyranitar, but Shell Smash variants can KO it with a boosted Sunsteel Strike. Poison Fang is another move that Imposter can scout for to prevent Mega Audino from being badly poisoned. Imposter Chansey can also switch into the dangerous attackers that Mega Audino struggles to deal with. In return, Mega Audino can bring Chansey in with a slow pivot to safely scout opposing Pokemon without fearing trapping moves. Entry hazard setters such as Giratina and Poison Heal Mega Mewtwo X can pressure the opposing team and can be Imposter-proofed by Mega Audino. If Mega Audino isn't running Anchor Shot, a way to Imposter-proof it is needed. This can be Poison Heal attackers like Regigigas and Xerneas if Mega Audino doesn't have Entrainment, setup sweepers, and Shedinja. Shedinja in particular can tank all sorts of strong attacks for Mega Audino and appreciates Mega Audino's reliable Magic Bounce support. Mega Audino fails to threaten Sturdy Shedinja at all, which allows Shedinja to come in easily. As a result, Ghost-type Pokemon such as Giratina and Aegislash that can check Shedinja are needed.

[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
========

Shore Up keeps Mega Audino healthy, and can get an extra recovery boost because Mega Audino is a solid switch-in to the most common Sand Stream user, Mega Tyranitar. Spiky Shield allows Mega Audino to safely activate its Toxic Orb, as well as scout moves from Pokemon with Choice items and Z-Moves and safely gain another round of Poison Heal recovery. While it cannot recover health as quickly as Shore Up, it denies Imposter users any recovery at all. Spiky Shield also prevents Sturdy Shedinja from being able to KO Mega Audino. Spiky Shield is chosen over Baneful Bunker to prevent opposing Imposter to get poisoned, while King's Shield doesn't allow a safe Toxic Orb activation due to its inability to prevent status moves such as Will-O-Wisp and Trick. U-turn allows Mega Audino to pivot, and thanks to its low base 50 Speed it is able to underspeed most opposing Pokemon and bring in a teammate safely. U-turn has synergy with Spiky Shield to allow Mega Audino to pivot while being Imposter-proof. Spectral Thief deters setup and allows Mega Audino to check Poison Heal Xerneas. Knock Off can remove helpful defensive items like Leftovers, Rocky Helmet, Eviolite, and Safety Goggles, annoy offensive Pokemon, and scout for Z-Crystals. Core Enforcer is an option to suppress the opposing Pokemon’s ability thanks to Mega Audino’s low Speed, and it won't affect Mega Audino's Poison Heal when used by its Imposter thanks to its Fairy typing. However, it is unable to threaten Poison Heal Xerneas. Defog is a good choice for teams that lack entry hazard removal, as Poison Heal can mitigate some chip damage and Mega Audino has a good matchup against many setters like Giratina and Poison Heal Mega Mewtwo X. Stealth Rock is a solid option on Mega Audino thanks to its good matchup against most defensive Magic Bounce users such as Giratina. Will-O-Wisp allows Mega Audino to cripple otherwise dangerous physical attackers such as Mega Mewtwo X and Kartana while chipping defensive Pokemon like Registeel and Primal Kyogre. In addition, Mega Audino can burn its Imposter, helping physical wallbreakers on its team. Purify is an option to be used with Knock Off to check Poison Heal Pokemon by removing their Toxic Orb and curing their poison status. However, this does come at the cost of a utility move and requiring another Pokemon to Imposter-proof Mega Audino.

Set Details
========

A negative Speed nature and minimum Speed IVs allow Mega Audino to underspeed most defensive Pokemon to provide a slow pivot and gain momentum. A Relaxed nature lets Mega Audino always avoid the 2HKO from unboosted Poison Heal Regigigas's Facade while taking Anchor Shots from defensive Pokemon like Registeel better. On the other hand, a Sassy nature lets Mega Audino take special moves like Primal Kyogre's Revelation Dance and Poison Heal Xerneas's Moonblast better. Sassy also allows Mega Audino to stay in on -ate users better if required. A Toxic Orb in conjunction with Poison Heal gives Mega Audino status protection, sizable passive healing, and the ability to absorb Knock Off after Toxic Orb has been activated. This allows Mega Audino to counter some offensive Poison Heal Pokemon like Mega Mewtwo X, Primal Kyogre, and Xerneas and switch into defensive Pokemon better, with Poison Heal negating chip damage. In addition, Mega Audino's Fairy typing gives it an immunity to Core Enforcer, which normally forces out other Poison Heal Pokemon.

Usage Tips
========

Mega Audino can safely switch in against most defensive Pokemon such as Giratina, Zygarde-C, and Registeel thanks to its typing providing immunities and resistances against common utility moves and Poison Heal providing it with a status immunity and passive healing against chip damage. It can also safely switch into some offensive Pokemon such as Poison Heal Mega Mewtwo X, Xerneas, and Primal Kyogre. Due to its low Speed and ability to completely wall Pokemon such as Giratina, Yveltal, and the aforementioned offensive Poison Heal users, Mega Audino is an excellent pivot, and U-turn is generally a safe move to click to gain momentum. If the opposing Pokemon stays in, Mega Audino can easily switch back in and recover chip damage with Poison Heal. After Toxic Orb activation, Mega Audino is also a fantastic Knock Off absorber. If Mega Audino is carrying Stealth Rock, it can force in the opposing Magic Bounce Pokemon on it, which can be easily exploited by teammates that can pressure it effectively. It also allows Mega Audino to force out opposing Pokemon that it usually cannot threaten. Don’t attempt to stay in against powerful attackers such as Mega Mewtwo Y and Mega Diancie, as Mega Audino doesn’t have the defensive typing or exceptional bulk to take them on. If necessary, however, Mega Audino can avoid the OHKO from many attacks and pivot out to let in a teammate safely, as Poison Heal can allow it to recover the health quickly later on. This is risky, and should only be done if the defensive answer cannot safely switch in or the team lacks a safe switch-in. In addition, against Pokemon that have super effective STAB attacks, such as Kartana and non-Normalize Mega Gengar, Mega Audino risks getting OHKOed. Furthermore, Mega Audino can no longer reliably answer many Pokemon such as Zygarde-C and Poison Heal users until it is healthy enough. If Mega Audino is carrying Spiky Shield, leading with it and using Spiky Shield can guarantee a safe Toxic Orb activation. However, this could allow the opposing Pokemon to set up or activate its own Toxic Orb, so it should only be used if there are no Pokemon on the opposing team that can effectively threaten your team. Later on in the game, Spiky Shield can also scout for attacks from unknown movesets or Choice-locked Pokemon such as Choice Band Mega Mewtwo X. Mega Audino should also be played more aggressively with Spiky Shield and pivot frequently, since it lacks the immediate healing. Knock Off is a fairly spammable move, since most defensive Pokemon cannot threaten Mega Audino effectively, and with Mega Audino's low Speed preventing most opposing Pokemon from slowly pivoting out, Mega Audino can threaten to remove the switch-in's item. Thanks to the status immunity, it can switch into most RegenVest users, even if they carry Poison Fang, and threaten to remove their Assault Vest. If it carries Spiky Shield, it can even stay in on Sturdy Shedinja to remove its Protective Pads.

Team Options
========

Steel-type Pokemon like Registeel, Aegislash, and Celesteela are good partners because they can take on many strong wallbreakers such as Mega Mewtwo Y, Pixilate Mega Diancie, and Refrigerate Kyurem-W that can pressure Mega Audino. Flash Fire Celesteela can blanket check -ate users and Primal Groudon and isn't vulnerable to Spikes compared to other Steel-types, which allows Mega Audino to run a Relaxed nature, as it no longer needs to cover -ate users for the Steel-type Pokemon. Other Flash Fire Steel-type Pokemon can also check -ate users and other wallbreaker Pokemon. They also appreciate Mega Audino's ability to take a hit to scout the set if needed. Bulky physical walls such as Mega Slowbro and Prankster Giratina can answer Mega Mewtwo X, Kartana, and Primal Groudon, all of which easily force Mega Audino out. In return, Mega Audino provides status absorption and a slow pivot to gain momentum. Mega Audino is weak to Mega Gengar, so specially bulky Pokemon like RegenVest Yveltal, Dialga, and Primal Kyogre are useful to switch in against it. In return, Mega Audino acts as a good Knock Off absorber that could remove their Assault Vests. Mega Audino can give opportunities for opposing Pokemon such as Mega Mewtwo X, Mega Mewtwo Y, and Kartana to set up, so answers to setup sweepers are needed; examples include Unaware and Prankster Pokemon such as Zygarde-C, Giratina, Registeel, and Primal Kyogre. Other slow pivots like Registeel and Mega Slowbro can let Mega Audino in safely to activate its Toxic Orb should it not carry Spiky Shield. Strong but frail wallbreakers like Mega Mewtwo Y and Mega Gengar appreciate Mega Audino's ability to switch into checks such as Yveltal and Primal Kyogre and gain momentum. Imposter users can scout for opposing movesets and determine if Mega Audino can safely switch in. Imposter Chansey can also switch in to the dangerous attackers that Mega Audino struggles to deal with. In return, Mega Audino can bring Chansey in with U-turn to safely scout opposing Pokemon without fearing trapping moves as well as providing status absorption and a switch-in against Imposter-proof Poison Heal Pokemon like Xerneas and Mega Mewtwo X. Mega Audino can Imposter-proof many defensive Pokemon such as Giratina and Yveltal, which in return can check dangerous attackers that overwhelm Mega Audino; for example, Giratina can check Regigigas and Mega Mewtwo X, while Yveltal can check Mega Mewtwo Y and Mega Gengar. Since this Mega Audino set deters opposing Imposter Pokemon from switching in by being able to deny their recovery from it or cripple it with Will-O-Wisp or Knock Off, Pokemon such as Sheer Force Mega Mewtwo Y that appreciate opposing Imposter Pokemon being crippled or weakened are good partners. If Purify is run, a separate way to Imposter-proof Mega Audino is needed; this can be any Pokemon that doesn't mind having its item removed, such as Registeel, Ferrothorn, or Ho-Oh.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

An Unaware set with Shore Up, Spectral Thief, U-turn, and Core Enforcer is possible to check dangerous setup sweepers such as Triage Yveltal. However, due to its weakness to Sunsteel Strike it cannot effectively check physical setup attackers and also loses out on the status protection Magic Bounce and Poison Heal provide. Other setup Pokemon can also overwhelm it through strong neutral STAB attacks like Primal Kyogre's Water Spout. A Soundproof set with Shore Up, Parting Shot, Anchor Shot, and Core Enforcer is a decent check to -ate users, being able to handle Pokemon like Choice Specs Refrigerate Kyurem-B and Pixilate Mega Diancie. However, it can be worn down into -ate Extreme Speed range, and Mega Audino also doesn't like losing status protection. A Fur Coat set can check some dangerous physical attackers like Mega Garchomp. However, it is much less useful than the other sets, and Sunsteel Strike still threatens Mega Audino through Fur Coat. In addition, Mega Garchomp is uncommon, which means Mega Audino would rather have another ability the majority of the time. Prankster is another possible ability to act as a setup check while retaining Mega Audino's ability to gain momentum from Pokemon like Giratina. Most other Pokemon like Registeel and Giratina perform the job better though, with their better typing, as Mega Audino is weak to Sunsteel Strike, a common move used on setup Pokemon. Mega Audino will also be very passive with U-turn as its only damaging move. Spikes can be used over Stealth Rock to pressure the opposing team more with entry hazards, but Mega Audino prefers reliable Rapid Spin support to avoid clearing entry hazards on the opponent's side. It can also be annoying when a trapped Imposter lays them down. Purify is an option over Defog on the Magic Bounce set to defeat Poison Heal users in tandem with Knock Off. However, this comes at a cost of requiring another hazard remover and removing some Pokemon such as Poison Heal users as possible ways to Imposter-proof Mega Audino. Scald is an interesting option on the Poison Heal set as a way to burn opposing Pokemon that cannot be blocked by Magic Bounce, unlike Will-O-Wisp. However, outside of that it is much more unreliable than Will-O-Wisp with its 30% burn chance, which can be important in situations against physical attackers than can 2HKO Mega Audino. A combination of Substitute + Baton Pass can be used on the Poison Heal set to aid offensive teammates in setting up or firing strong attacks. However, Mega Audino will lose a lot of the utility provided by other moves, and Imposter Pokemon can take advantage of Substitute itself if Shore Up is chosen over Spiky Shield.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Offensive Steel-types**: Mega Audino is weak to Steel, and its passivity leaves it open to powerful Steel-types like Kartana, Necrozma-DM, and offensive Dialga firing off strong attacks or setting up.

**Mega Gengar**: Mega Gengar threatens Mega Audino with STAB Poison-type moves. It must be careful of Knock Off though, as all Mega Gengar sets hate losing their item, whether it is Spooky Plate, Choice Scarf, or Choice Specs. Normalize Mega Gengar is also checked by the Magic Bounce set.

**Strong Wallbreakers**: Mega Audino doesn't resist a lot of common offensive typings and doesn't have exceptional bulk, so strong wallbreakers like Mega Mewtwo Y, Mega Mewtwo X, and Primal Groudon can break through it. Primal Groudon also doesn't fear any of Mega Audino's moves thanks to its high bulk, immunity to burns, and reduced damage from Knock Off.

**Setup Pokemon**: Mega Audino tends to be passive, which allows Pokemon to set up on and overwhelm it. Shell Smash users can easily set up if Mega Audino isn't carrying Spectral Thief and threaten it immediately after a boost. Some setup Pokemon also carry Sunsteel Strike, which can heavily damage Mega Audino.

**Entry Hazards**: Mega Audino needs to be at high health to reliably check the Pokemon it needs to check, and entry hazards like Stealth Rock and Spikes chip it down.

**Imposter Users**: While Imposter users usually cannot hard switch into Mega Audino due to the threat of trapping, sets that do not self-Imposter-proof are very vulnerable to Imposter users switching in to freely recover and PP stall.

**Poison Fang**: Poison Fang can threaten all Mega Audino sets except for Poison Heal with Toxic status, chipping it down throughout the course of the game. This is especially problematic on the Magic Bounce set as it commonly switches into defensive Pokemon such as Giratina and Zygarde-C.

Overview
*Though Mega Audino is versatile, each of its sets can only do a few things very well, so against a team without threats it can check, its set is often deadweight. For example, the Soundproof set can't do much of anything if there's no -ate user. The Magic Bounce set has to flee from every single Setup Pokemon which means it can't do what it wants to and must always consider the possibility of the Setupper coming in to it. PH sets are fairly useless against Magic Bounce Audino sets and have no lures available to remove them, etc.
Otherwise Looks good. They might ask you to remove the last bullet because it's filler.

Magic Bounce set
* Knock off also removes Spooky Plate from Mgar, making it a total nonthreat if that happens
* Entrainment helps defeat Xern, especially if you can trap it with Anchor first.

usage tips
Scout mgar set before just blindly switching into it, because Sludge Wave will 2hKO at the very least.

team options
If you aren't running anchor shot you are horrible imposter bate; you need teammates who can punish Imposter switchins because otherwise the game will devolve into pp stall. Entry hazard setters with ways around Magic Bounce like Poison Fang, are good. Teammates that are even slower that can u-turn into wallbreakers, like Mega Slowbro, can work if you bring a technically uncounterable wallbreaker like specs megaray.
*" Imposter can scout for opposing movesets and determine if Mega Audino can safely switch in, example include Shell Smash vs Defensive variants of Mega Tyranitar and Poison Fang." This sentence is confusing, I think you mean you can use imposter to scout for Shell Smash on megatar or Poison Fang but it just reads weirdly, and then you still need something to switch into those things. Just say that a prankster haze Steel can scout for that sort of stuff.
*Hazard setters are good teammates to dissuade Imposter switching into you, and you can use Audino's Magic Bounce to keep Imposter from setting hazards against you.
* Sturdy Shedinja is one of its best teammates, as its Bounce support is extremely reliable. It's sfairly difficult to set hazards against it without using an offensive setter. Plus Sturdy Shed can take all sorts of hits Audino hates.

Poison Heal set
*I think you should always use Relax to take things like Beedrill's strong U-Turns or Yveltal's Knock Offs better. You don't really want to stay in against Pogre anyway, even after you realize it's Regenvest, because Revdance does so much, and you will slowly be worn down even with Poison Heal. You don't counter PH Xerneas, Mega Rayquaza, MMY, or any Gengar variant with +spD nature either.

Usage Tips
*The Knock Off bullet (last bullet) is badly worded. The gist is that since Audino is so slow, it will Knock Off random items from switchins, which is nice, but after it knocks off a single item they'll probably switch that one Pokemon in from then on to avoid losing future items, which you can often punish via U-Turning instead.

team options
*Mostly copy-pasted from previous set
*Status abusers and Knock Off users appreciate that Mega Audino can Improof them. But usually these Pokemon are already fairly improof. The exception are things like Spore+Setuppers, which enjoy not having to run Safety Goggles to be immune to their own Spore. No Guard MMX/MMY is a cool partner which lets you spread loads of status around, and can use Audino as improof.
*But there's a reason why this set is far less popular, because it's hard to think of more than fairly general team options for it ...

unaware
team options
* Prankster users: add that they can scout what set the opponent is running without too much risk so you can decide whether you want to switch in Mega Audino or not.
*Imposter: don't just copy-paste this. Imposter is really useful against Contrary, especially after Nuzzle support.

Soundproof: Suggest to add to Other Options.

Other Options
* Spikes over Stealth Rock on the Mb and PH sets gets you faster immediate damage against grounded foes, especially Giratina, Steels and Imposter. But to use them to your advantage (especially against Imposter) you need a reliable spinner that can even spin against Ghosts.
* Refresh on MB lets you give a nasty surprise to Poison Fang users. (Yes, I've used it, it's not too bad.) But it does cost a moveslot...
*Purify on MB sets let you handle PH sweepers better, if you can fit Knock Off on another Poke.
*Psycho Shift on PH sets lets you spread Poison around, especially against opposing Audinos which will otherwise shut you down.
*Level 99 Audino is useful to underspeed opposing Base 50's with pivoting moves.

Checks and Counters
Quite barren
*Hazards/status: often Needs full health to switch into threats it can counter. For example
252 Atk Rayquaza-Mega Dragon Ascent vs. 252 HP / 252 Def Audino-Mega: 169-199 (41.2 - 48.5%) -- 74.2% chance to 2HKO after Stealth Rock (guaranteed 3hKO without)
252 Atk Diancie-Mega V-create vs. 252 HP / 252 Def Audino-Mega: 154-182 (37.5 - 44.3%) -- 2.3% chance to 2HKO after Stealth Rock
252 Atk Life Orb Aerilate Rayquaza-Mega Extreme Speed vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Audino-Mega: 160-188 (39 - 45.8%) -- 22.3% chance to 2HKO after Stealth Rock

*Imposter: can easily take advantage of and PP stall non PH or Soundproof
*Strong Wallbreakers: please, add more of these. Band MMX, primal Groudon, Mega Garchomp, etc
*Offensive Steel types: Add that a lot of mons run Sunsteel to hit Shed, which can invalid Audino-Mega as a check. For Example, Shell Smash Megatar beats the Unaware set with Sunsteel as does Banded Mega Beedrill.
*Doom Desire Dialga: you may add this to offensive Steels as well, though the way it works is unique since it prevents Mega Audino from switching into check other things for fear of being pulverized by Doom Desire. An example is using Doom Desire then immediately switching to Giratina to set up Stealth Rock knowing that Magic Bounce Audino can't block it.
*PH Regigigas: None of audino's sets can beat it, as Facade is almost a 2hKO with no setup and you need Topsy Turvy to prevent it from setting up, and if you predict wrong even once you're pretty much dead. and even the Fur Coat set gets knocked off and put to sleep.
252 Atk Regigigas Facade (140 BP) vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Audino-Mega: 163-193 (39.7 - 47%) -- 41% chance to 2HKO after Stealth Rock

[OVERVIEW]
* Solid 103/126/126 mixed bulk, combined with a fantastic typing that offers key immunities to Dragon and Ghost along with a resistance to Bug makes Mega Audino a premier defensive Pokemon in BH. this is pointless filler, remove this or use it to transition to points which actually state what it does in the metagame.
* An immunity to common moves such as Spectral Thief, Core Enforcer, a resistance to U-turn and Knock Off, and a slow base 50 speed that underspeeds most of the other defensive Pokemon, makes Mega Audino one of the best switch ins to defensive Pokemon, capable of absorbing hits, taking utility moves with Magic Bounce or Poison Heal, and gaining momentum by slow pivoting out to a teammate.
* Defensively, its typing also offers an immunity to powerful moves like Draco Meteor and Moongeist Beam. This allows it to run abilities like Unaware to check some special set up sweepers that rely on Moongeist Beam to break Unaware or Soundproof to counter -ate Pokemon.
* Unfortunately, Mega Audino’s typing leaves it weak to Steel and Poison type attackers, this combined with its passivity allows dangerous attackers in such as Kartana, Necrozma-Dusk-Mane, and Mega Gengar.
* In addition, it’s typing doesn’t offer too many resistances, leaving it weak to powerful neutral attackers such as Sheer Force Mega Mewtwo Y and Adaptability Mega Mewtwo X. alongside this point, mention its bulk being not great enough to compensate for this.
* Because of its prevalence as a defensive Pokemon answer, some have adapted by running Poison Fang to cripple non Poison Heal sets. this isnt because of mdino, and also dont talk about things as if they're current trends as analyses are supposed to be "timeless"
* Despite its shortcomings, it is still a premier defensive option capable of fitting on many teams. filler. remove

* Shore Up keeps Mega Audino healthy, it is chosen over other healing moves since it heals extra under sand pointless /dt information, remove, and Mega Audino is a solid switch in into the most common sand user, Mega Tyranitar. just this once since it's dino
* U-turn allows Mega Audino to pivot, and thanks to its slow base 50 speed it is able to underspeed most Pokemon and bring in a teammate safely. It is chosen over other pivot moves because it is unblockable and can break Focus Sashes.
* Alternatively, Anchor Shot allows Mega Audino to trap its Imposter say stuff like Imposter Pokemon instead. and PP stall it.
* Parting Shot is another option to pivot and works well with Darkinium Z, however it is blocked by Magic Bounce and Soundproof and doesn’t break Focus Sashes. remove
* Core Enforcer will often suppress the opponent’s ability thanks to Mega Audino’s slow speed, and is very useful against Regenerator, Magic Bounce, and Poison Heal. mention what mons often run this
* Knock Off is an useful utility move that can remove helpful defensive items like Leftovers, Rocky Helmet, and Safety Goggles. It can also annoy Offensive Pokemon why? mention how it removes choice items etcand scout for Z-Crystals. With Darkinium Z, Mega Audino is also immune to Imposter's Knock Off a) no, it takes reduced damage, youre talking to people who likely have never played much mons before as well. b) z pshot on bounce sucks anyways so remove it. It can also Knock Off Mega Gengar's Spooky Plate.
* Entrainment allows Mega Audino to defeat Poison Heal Xerneas thanks to its solid special defense and immunity to Lovely Kiss. Combined with Anchor Shot it can trap and remove Xerneas.
* Stealth Rock is a solid option on Mega Audino thanks to its good match up against most defensive Magic Bouncers such as Giratina. Mega Audino also has the longevity and opportunity to set it multiple times in a game. no, not unless youre running anchor. but anchor audino is p meh anyways. remove.
* Defog is a good choice for teams that lack hazard removal, as Magic Bounce and Defog will prevent hazards from being set again after Mega Audino uses Defog.

Set Details
========

* A negative speed nature and minimum speed allows Mega Audino to underspeed most defensive Pokemon to slow pivot and gain momentum.
* Sassy Nature lets Mega Audino take special attacks like Revelation Dance from what? it already does very well vs yveltal, make it clear that you mean ogre and Normalize Mega Gengar’s Boomburst better.
* On the other hand, a Relaxed Nature lets Mega Audino take moves like U-turn and Knock Off better why is this more important?as well as answering Poison Heal Mega Mewtwo X better. doesnt it already do this very well? find better justification, if you can't then remove this.
* Leftovers gives Mega Audino passive recovery, allowing it to negate chip damage. again it doesn't negate, choose wording carefully
* Rocky Helmet punishes contact moves, including the omnipresent U-turn, it also can KO Sturdy Shedinja after its Protective Pads have been Knocked Off.
* Darkinium Z with Parting Shot allows Mega Audino to fully restore a teammate's health and gives Mega Audino a Knock Off immunity. It is risky however, as opposing Magic Bounce users and Imposter can switch in to take the Z-Parting Shot for themselves. delet
* Magic Bounce bounces back status moves such as hazards and Spore, making Mega Audino a reliable switch in to defensive Pokemon and offensive Pokemon that rely on status such as Poison Heal Mega Mewtwo X.

Usage Tips
========

* Mega Audino is capable of safely switching in against most defensive Pokemon thanks to its typing and Magic Bounce. This includes Giratina, Zygarde-Complete, Registeel, and others.
* However, some defensive Pokemon run Poison Fang, which can cripple Mega Audino, so scout for it before freely switching in.
* It can also safely switch-in to some offensive Pokemon such as Poison Heal Mega Mewtwo X, Normalize Gengar, and Poison Heal Xerneas if Mega Audino carries Entrainment.
* Due to its low speed and ability to completely wall many Pokemon which pokemon? offensive? defensive? which ones? what sets? mention all of this., Mega Audino is an excellent pivot, and U-turn or Parting Shot is generally a safe move to click.
* Don’t attempt to stay in against powerful attackers such as Mega Mewtwo Y and Mega Diancie, as Mega Audino doesn’t have the advantageous typing nor exceptional bulk to take them on. Instead, leave them to Mega Audino’s teammates. this later sentence is implied, remove it.
* While Mega Audino can beat Normalize Mega Gengar, scouting the set is important as Mega Gengar's Poison STAB will threaten Mega Audino a lot. be wary of adaptability in particular, as it doesn't reveal itself.
* Against faster opposing defensive Pokemon, Core Enforcer is a good move to click to remove abilities, this is especially useful against Poison Heal and Regenerator. which mons in particular? only zygtina or more? list examples
* Knock Off is also very spammable, because in general, the opponent will eventually to pivot out and thanks to Mega Audino's slow speed, they will most likely fail to pivot after the Knock Off, allowing you to remove the switch-in's items. This is especially effective on Pokemon like Giratina and Aegislash. why? it doesnt do much to tina. not worth a specific mention
* Be careful with using Z-Parting Shot, as opposing Magic Bounce and Soundproof Pokemon along with Imposter can come in and either take the Z-Parting Shot for themselves or block it. delet

Team Options
========

* Steel type Pokemon are good partners because they can take on many strong wallbreakers that can pressure Mega Audino such as Mega Mewtwo Y and -ates say -ate users such as Mega Rayquaza and Mega Diancie. Registeel, Celesteela, and Aegislash are good choices.
* Bulky physical walls such as Mega Slowbro and Giratina can answer Mega Mewtwo X, Kartana, and Necrozma-DM, all of which easily force Mega Audino out. this would be good but tina isnt too reliable vs anything on here that isnt mmx, unless prankster. specify that or find another example
* Mega Audino is weak to Mega Gengar's Poison type STABs, so Pokemon like Yveltal and Primal Kyogre are useful to switch-in against it. why? they dont resist mgar's psn stab. ppl won't get this correlation, so specify regenvest sets and mention their great bulk
* Mega Audino can give opportunities for opposing Pokemon to set up, so answers to setup sweepers are needed, examples include Unaware and Prankster Pokemon. like what, also if youre gonna do this include -ate mons that can rk
* Strong but frail wallbreakers like Mega Mewtwo Y and Mega Gengar appreciate Mega Audino's slow pivots and utility against defensive Pokemon. mmy isnt particularly frail, rephrase this to "mgar and mmy make good teammates bc weak to utility moves like spectral u turn koff etc which walls often carry and which mdino resists" or smth
* Imposter can scout for opposing movesets and determine if Mega Audino can safely switch in, example include Shell Smash vs Defensive variants of Mega Tyranitar and Poison Fang. Imposter Chansey can also switch in to the dangerous attackers that Mega Audino struggles to deal with. Mega Audino can also slow pivot Imposter in to safely scout opponents. in case of trapping moves.
* Hazard setters can pressure the opposing team and can be imposter-proofed by Mega Audino. what hazard setters? give examples
* If Mega Audino isn't running Anchor Shot, an imposter proof is needed. This can be Poison Heal attackers like Regigigas and Xerneas if Mega Audino doesn't have Entrainment, setup sweepers, and Shedinja. Shedinja in particular can tank all sorts of strong attacks for Mega Audino and appreciates Mega Audino's reliable Magic Bounce support.
speaking of shed, you need to mention checks for it

Moves
========

* Shore Up keeps Mega Audino healthy, it is chosen over other healing moves since it heals extra under sand same point applies as in the previous set, and Mega Audino is a solid switch in into the most common sand user, Mega Tyranitar.
* Spiky Shield allows Mega Audino to safely activate its Toxic Orb, it also scouts moves from Pokemon with Choice Items and Z-Moves. It also lets Audino heal another 12.5% safely. Unlike Shore Up, it cannot recover health as quickly, but denies Imposter from any recovery at all. Spiky Shield is chosen over Baneful Bunker to not allow Imposter to get poisoned, while King's Shield doesn't prevent Status moves from bypassing protection which doesn't allow a safe Toxic Orb activation.
* U-turn allows Mega Audino to pivot, and thanks to its slow base 50 speed it is able to underspeed most Pokemon and bring in a teammate safely. It is chosen over other pivot moves because it is unblockable and can break Focus Sashes. It has synergy with Spiky Shield to be able to pivot while being Imposter-proof.
* Alternatively, Anchor Shot allows Mega Audino to trap its Imposter and PP stall it. It works well with Shore Up to have strong recovery while not being recover bait for Imposter. remove
* Core Enforcer will often suppress the opponent’s ability thanks to Mega Audino’s slow speed, and is very useful against Regenerator, Magic Bounce, and Poison Heal. Imposter won't affect Mega Audino's Poison Heal thanks to its Fairy typing.
* Knock Off is an useful utility move that can remove helpful defensive items like Leftovers, Rocky Helmet, and Safety Goggles. It can also annoy Offensive Pokemon and scout for Z-Crystals. After Toxic Orb activation, Mega Audino is also Imposter-proof. just say it doesnt mind imposter pokemon using knock off on it, it reads weirdly otherwise.
* Stealth Rock is a solid option on Mega Audino thanks to its good match up against most defensive Magic Bouncers such as Giratina. Mega Audino also has the longevity i dont really understand what this is trying to say, can you reword it?, which allows it to outlast some hazard removers, and the opportunity to set it multiple times in a game.
* Defog is a good choice for teams that lack hazard removal, as Poison Heal can negate mitigate is what id say some hazard chip damage and Mega Audino has a good match up against many hazard setters like Giratina and Poison Heal Mega Mewtwo X.
* Will-o-Wisp allows Mega Audino to cripple otherwise dangerous physical attackers such as Mega Mewtwo X and Kartana while chipping defensive Pokemon like Registeel and Primal Kyogre. After Toxic Orb activation, Mega Audino doesn't fear Will-o-Wisp being bounced or used by Imposter. mention how mdino can also status imp which can make it easier for physical breakers to do their thing

Set Details
========

* A negative speed nature and minimum speed allows Mega Audino to underspeed most defensive Pokemon to slow pivot and gain momentum.
* A Relaxed Nature lets Mega Audino take Poison Heal Mega Mewtwo X's Low Kick and prevalent moves like U-turn and Knock Off better. are there any better hits it takes that itd get ohkoed or 2hkoed by otherwise
* On the other hand, a Sassy Nature lets Mega Audino take special moves like Revelation Dance better. This is less optimal, as Mega Audino isn't really handling any special attackers anyways, and Primal Kyogre's Revelation Dance still chips for a lot. same for above, unless pogre's revdance is an example of a hit it takes better?
* A Toxic Orb in conjunction with Poison Heal gives Mega Audino status protection, strong passive healing, and allows Mega Audino to absorb Knock Off after Toxic Orb has been activated. This allows Mega Audino to counter some offensive Pokemon like Poison Heal Mega Mewtwo X and be able to switch in to defensive Pokemon better with Poison Heal negating chip damage. In addition, Mega Audino's Fairy typing gives it an immunity to the most common ability nullifying move pointless and questionable filler, just say core, Core Enforcer.

Usage Tips
========

* Mega Audino is capable of safely switching in against most defensive Pokemon thanks to its typing and Poison Heal providing it with a status immunity and passive healing against chip damage mention how it also resists common utility moves. This includes Giratina, Zygarde-Complete, Registeel, and others.
* It can also safely switch-in to some offensive Pokemon such as Poison Heal Mega Mewtwo X. give more examples, prob mons/sets that are more offensive in nature too
* Due to its low speed and ability to completely wall many Pokemon, Mega Audino is an excellent pivot, and U-turn is generally a safe move to click. this being a copy paste aside, same criticism applies as the last point. examples of what it walls.
* Don’t attempt to stay in against powerful attackers such as Mega Mewtwo Y and Mega Diancie, as Mega Audino doesn’t have the advantageous typing nor exceptional bulk to take them on. Instead, leave them to Mega Audino’s teammates. again, this is implied
* If necessary, however, Mega Audino can avoid the OHKO from many attacks and pivot out to let in a teammate safely, as Poison Heal can allow it to recover the health quickly later on. This is risky, and should only be done if the defensive answer cannot safely switch in or the team lacks a safe switch-in. In addition, against Pokemon that have super effective STABs, such as Kartana and non-Normalize Mega Gengar, Mega Audino risks getting OHKOed. should also mention how this can leave it decommissioned for a while
* If Mega Audino is carrying Spiky Shield, leading it and using Spiky Shield can guarantee a safe Toxic Orb activation. Later on in the game Spiky Shield can also scout for attacks from unknown movesets or Choice locked Pokemon.
* Against faster opposing defensive Pokemon examples, Core Enforcer is a good move to click to remove abilities, this is especially useful against Poison Heal and Regenerator.
* Knock Off is fairly spammable, because in general, the opponent will eventually to pivot out and thanks to Mega Audino's slow speed, they will most likely fail to underspeed Mega Audino to slow pivot, allowing you to remove the switch-in's items. This is especially effective on Pokemon like Giratina and Aegislash. same criticism for last time this bullet was phrased exactly like this, tina isnt a good example

Team Options
========

* Steel type Pokemon are good partners because they can take on many strong wallbreakers that can pressure Mega Audino such as Mega Mewtwo Y and -ates. Registeel, Celesteela, and Aegislash are good choices.this is phrased kinda weirdly. say "steels like x x x are good partners bc they can take on strong breakers like x and x (give examples of -ates) that pressure mdino."
* Bulky physical walls such as Mega Slowbro and Giratina can answer Mega Mewtwo X, Kartana, and Necrozma-DM, all of which easily force Mega Audino out. include pdon here
* Mega Audino is weak to Mega Gengar's Poison type STABs, so Pokemon like Yveltal and Primal Kyogre are useful to switch-in against it. as i said before, specify regenvest
* Mega Audino can give opportunities for opposing Pokemon to set up, so answers to setup sweepers are needed, examples include Unaware and Prankster Pokemon. this is incredibly vague, rephrase this to include examples (PRIMARILY XERNEAS)
* Other slow pivots like Registeel and Mega Slowbro can let Mega Audino in safely to activate its Toxic Orb should it not carry Spiky Shield.
* Strong but frail wallbreakers like Mega Mewtwo Y and Mega Gengar appreciate Mega Audino's slow pivots and utility against defensive Pokemon.
* Imposter can scout for opposing movesets and determine if Mega Audino can safely switch in, example include Shell Smash vs Defensive variants of Mega Tyranitar and Belly Drum Necrozma Dusk-Mane. Imposter Chansey can also switch in to the dangerous attackers that Mega Audino struggles to deal with. Mega Audino can also slow pivot Imposter in to safely scout opponents.

Moves
========

* Shore Up keeps Mega Audino healthy, it is chosen over other healing moves since it heals extra under sand, and Mega Audino is a solid switch in into the most common sand user, Mega Tyranitar. youve stated this enough, just call it recovery at this point
* Spectral Thief steals opponent stat boosts, which reduces Mega Audino's passivity to not leave it as set up bait. It works well with Unaware against set-up sweepers. why does it work well with unaware
* Topsy-Turvy trades the ability to damage the opponent and hit through Substitute for the ability to hit Normal types like Arceus and a better effectiveness against Contrary attackers. why is this effective? unaware ignores their drops too.
* U-turn allows Mega Audino to pivot, and thanks to its slow base 50 speed it is able to underspeed most Pokemon and bring in a teammate safely. It is chosen over other pivot moves because it is unblockable and can break Focus Sashes.
* Alternatively, Anchor Shot allows Mega Audino to trap its Imposter and PP stall it.
* Core Enforcer will often suppress the opponent’s ability thanks to Mega Audino’s slow speed, and is very useful against Contrary, Poison Heal, and Mold Breaker.
* Nuzzle slows down offensive Pokemon for teammates to handle, easing the Contrary match-up and removing the speed ties Imposter has to deal with. dont put this on unaware.

Set Details
========

* A Sassy Nature and minimum speed allows Mega Audino to underspeed most defensive Pokemon to slow pivot and gain momentum. The Sassy Nature gives Mega Audino a boost to its special bulk, in order to handle the special set up attackers that Mega Audino is effective against thanks to its immunity to Moongeist Beam. what hits does it help mdino live in particular?
* Safety Goggles prevent Spore, which is important as some set up attackers carry Spore like what, which cripple Mega Audino.
* Leftovers grants passive recovery, which is useful for negating chip damage and increasing Mega Audino's longevity. what do you mind by dropping safety
* Unaware lets Mega Audino ignore opponent stat boosts, this combined with its immunity to Moongeist Beam which otherwise ignores Unaware makes Mega Audino an effective answer to some special set up attackers like Contrary Mega Rayquaza.
252 Atk Life Orb Rayquaza-Mega V-create vs. 252 HP / 252 Def Audino-Mega: 205-242 (50 - 59%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after toxic damage
mray w/ contra isnt a special pokemon, nor does mdino switch in. mention triage mray. xern is also big when you run entrain.

Usage Tips
========

* This Mega Audino set trades the ability to easily switch in to most defensive Pokemon for the ability to check some dangerous set-up sweepers. like what? you need to give examples of these things
* That being said, Mega Audino's typing and low speed still allows it to reliably switch-in against some Pokemon like Giratina. However, without the passive healing of Leftovers or Poison Heal, Mega Audino tends to get chipped much more easily, which is problematic as Mega Audino needs to be at high health to check the attackers it is supposed to check. It also is susceptible to status without Magic Bounce or Poison Heal.
* With Unaware, Mega Audino can answer certain set-up sweepers such as Contrary Mega Rayquaza and Contrary Mega Sceptile.
* However, don't switch in Mega Audino recklessly without scouting for the set, as it can be crippled if the opposing Pokemon is using a different set, such as Aerilate Mega Rayquaza.
* Even though Mega Audino can reliably answer such set-up Pokemon, it still needs to be very healthy to do so, so try to avoid letting Mega Audino take too much chip damage, such as from repeated U-turns and entry hazards.
* Against Contrary Pokemon that has used V-create, Spectral Thief is a good choice to steal the defense boosts so Mega Audino can take less damage from the next moves.
* If Mega Audino has an non-Choice Scarf Imposter what, then Nuzzle is excellent for reducing the opposing Pokemon's speed so Imposter will no longer rely on speed-ties. this is removed anyway so you can remove this but for the future this was kinda unclear

Team Options

* Steel type Pokemon are good partners because they can take on many strong wallbreakers that can pressure Mega Audino such as Mega Mewtwo Y and -ates. Registeel, Celesteela, and Aegislash are good choices.

* Mega Audino is weak to Mega Gengar's Poison type STABs, so Pokemon like Yveltal and Primal Kyogre are useful to switch-in against it.
* Prankster Pokemon can check Belly Drum, which can overwhelm Mega Audino with Sunsteel Strike or Photon Geyser. They can also scout for sets without too much risk which can determine if Mega Audino can check that Pokemon.
* RegenVest Pokemon like Primal Kyogre and Dialga can also scout for sets and recover health lost with Regenerator and provides a bulky special wall to take hits from strong wallbreakers.
* Pokemon like Yveltal and Magic Bounce Giratina that can remove entry hazards are needed, as after these chip damage Mega Audino can be put in range of being 2HKOed by Pokemon it is supposed to check.
* Strong but frail wallbreakers like Mega Mewtwo Y and Mega Gengar appreciate Mega Audino's slow pivots and utility against defensive Pokemon.

Moves
========

* Shore Up keeps Mega Audino healthy, it is chosen over other healing moves since it heals extra under sand, and Mega Audino is a solid switch in into the most common sand user, Mega Tyranitar.
* Parting Shot allows Mega Audino to pivot while still being able to trap Imposter thanks to Soundproof. It also works well with Darkinium Z to fully restore a teammates health.
* Anchor Shot allows Mega Audino to trap its Imposter and PP stall it. Thanks to Soundproof, Imposter cannot pivot out using Parting Shot.
* Core Enforcer will often suppress the opponent’s ability thanks to Mega Audino’s slow speed, and is very useful against the -ates ability to remove the 1.2x boost and the STAB bonus, allowing Mega Audino to take much less damage from moves like Extreme Speed. Imposter won't affect Mega Audino's Soundproof and pivot out with Parting Shot thanks to its Fairy typing.
* Knock Off is an useful utility move that can remove helpful defensive items like Leftovers, Rocky Helmet, and Safety Goggles. It can also annoy Offensive Pokemon and scout for Z-Crystals. With Darkinium Z, Mega Audino is also immune to Imposter's Knock Off.
* Perish Song combined with Anchor Shot and Soundproof can let Mega Audino remove opponent Pokemon that lack pivoting while preventing other Pokemon to stay in for long.

Set Details
========

* A negative speed nature and minimum speed allows Mega Audino to underspeed most defensive Pokemon to slow pivot and gain momentum.
* A Relaxed Nature lets Mega Audino take Extreme Speed from -ates better along with common utility moves like U-turn and Knock Off.
* On the other hand, Sassy Nature lets Mega Audino take special attacks better, most notably from Choice Specs Aerilate Mega Rayquaza and Refrigerate Kyurem-W.
* Safety Goggles prevent Spore, which is important as Mega Audino is crippled by it.
* Darkinium Z with Parting Shot allows Mega Audino to fully restore a teammate's health and gives Mega Audino a Knock Off immunity.
* Leftovers gives Mega Audino passive recovery, allowing it to negate chip damage.
* Soundproof blocks Boomburst, combined with Mega Audino's bulk lets it be a solid counter to -ates. Mega Audino's typing also makes it immune to Mega Rayquaza's Draco Meteor, giving it a niche over other Soundproof users such as Mega Slowbro as it is one of the best switch-ins to Choice Specs Aerilate Mega Rayquaza. Soundproof also prevents Parting Shot, to sap opposing momentum, and also preventing Mega Audino from being affected by its own Perish Song or being removed by opposing Perish Song.

Usage Tips
========

* With Soundproof and solid bulk, Mega Audino is capable of countering nearly all -ates, including Mega Diancie and Mega Rayquaza.
* However, don't switch in Mega Audino recklessly, as it can be heavily damaged by other sets, such as Magic Guard Mega Diancie and Triage Mega Rayquaza. Scouting for the foes' sets with Imposter is ideal.
* Mega Audino needs to be at high health to take on the other moves apart from Boomburst, such as Extreme Speed and V-create. Keeping entry hazards off helps.
* Don't let Mega Audino take unnecessary hits from powerful attackers it isn't meant to check if Mega Audino still needs to check an opposing Pokemon. Leave it to Mega Audino's teammates instead.
* Against Pokemon that Mega Audino can completely wall, such as -ates, Mega Audino can click Parting Shot to gain momentum as the opposing Pokemon is forced out. However, if Mega Audino isn't health enough, the opposing Pokemon can stay in to attack, which may lead to Mega Audino failing to answer in the next time.
* Alternatively, Anchor Shot can be used to try to trap these Pokemon and chip them down to KO them, since the opponent might think Mega Audino is Magic Bounce or Unaware and is vulnerable to -ate Boomburst.
* Core Enforcer and Knock Off can reduce the opposing Pokemon's power, either by removing the -ate boost and STAB boost, or removing a boosting item. This can help Mega Audino tank the hits, and consume less Recovery PP.

Team Options
========

* Steel type Pokemon are good partners because they can take on many strong wallbreakers that can pressure Mega Audino such as Mega Mewtwo Y . Registeel, Celesteela, and Aegislash are good choices. They also can run different abilities other than Flash Fire with Mega Audino answering -ates.
* Bulky physical walls such as Mega Slowbro and Giratina can answer Mega Mewtwo X, Kartana, and Necrozma-DM, all of which easily force Mega Audino out, and appreciate Mega Audino checking -ates.
* Pokemon like Yveltal and Magic Bounce Giratina can remove entry hazards, allowing Mega Audino to more reliably check opposing Pokemon.
* Strong but frail wallbreakers like Mega Mewtwo Y and Mega Gengar appreciate Mega Audino's slow pivots and utility against defensive Pokemon.
* Attackers like Aerilate Mega Rayquaza and Pixilate Mega Diancie can be imposter proofed by Mega Audino.
Mega Audino can also slow pivot Imposter in to safely scout opponents.

qc talked and these two sets are oo.

Other Options
=============

* Spikes can be used over Stealth Rock to pressure the opposing team more with hazards, but it prefers reliable Rapid Spin support to have the best effects. It can also be annoying when Imposter is trapped and lays them down.
* Purify is an option on the Magic Bounce set to defeat Poison Heal users in tandem with Knock Off. what are the consequences of running this? what do you put it over?
* Refresh is another option on the Magic Bounce set to cure status inflicted by Toxic Spikes or Poison Fang, it is very situational though and can end up taking up a valuable moveslot for no use. what slot do you give up??
* A combination of Substitute + Baton Pass can be used on the Poison Heal set to aid offensive teammates in setting up or firing strong attacks. Mega Audino will be strapped for moveslots and Imposter can take advantage of Substitute itself, however. imp actually cant do this very well if youre not running shore up
* Psycho Shift is another possible option for the Poison Heal set to spread status. However, it is useless after Mega Audino takes a Knock Off, which it often does in a game as the Knock Off absorber. remove this
* Fur Coat is a possible set that can check some dangerous physical attackers like Mega Garchomp are there any other examples?. However, it is much less useful than the other sets and Sunsteel Strike threatens Mega Audino through Fur Coat. if there aren't any other examples, mention how mega garchomp is very uncommon as well so dino may miss some of its other abils.
* Prankster is another possible set to act as a setup check while retaining Mega Audino's ability to gain momentum from Pokemon like Giratina. Most other Pokemon like Registeel and Giratina perform the job better though.
* Running Level 99 Mega Audino is an option to try to underspeed other Pokemon with base 50 Speed, including Registeel and other Mega Audinos. remove this, we don't do speed creeps in analyses

Checks and Counters
===================

**Offensive Steel-Types**: Mega Audino is weak to Steel, and its passivity leaves it prone to powerful Steel-types like Kartana, Necrozma-DM, and offensive Dialga to fire off strong attacks or set up.

**Mega Gengar**: Mega Gengar threatens Mega Audino with STAB Poison type moves. It must be careful of Knock Off though. why? readers wont know what mega gengar does, so a brief mention would be nice.

**Strong Wallbreakers**: Mega Audino doesn't resist a lot of common offensive typings and doesn't have exceptional bulk, so strong wallbreakers like Mega Mewtwo Y, Mega Mewtwo X, and Primal Groudon can break through.

**Setup Pokemon**: Mega Audino tends to be passive, which allows Pokemon to setup and overwhelm it. Poison Heal Regigigas mention xern too somewhere in here in particular doesn't fear any of Mega Audino's moves apart from the rare Knock Off + Purify it kinda fears core too and can 2HKO it with Facade or set up.

**Entry Hazards**: Mega Audino needs to be at high health to reliably check the Pokemon it needs to check, and entry hazards like Stealth Rock and Spikes chip it down.

**Sunsteel Strike**: Threats that Mega Audino can usually check sometimes run Sunsteel Strike to do heavy damage to it, such as Shell Smash Mega Tyranitar.

**Imposter Users**: While Imposter users usually cannot hard switch in due to the threat of trapping, sets that do not self imposter proof are very vulnerable to Imposter users switching in to freely recover.

[OVERVIEW]
* Solid 103/126/126 mixed bulk, combined with a fantastic typing that offers key immunities to Dragon and Ghost along with a resistance to Bug makes Mega Audino one of the best switch ins to defensive Pokemon, capable of absorbing hits, taking utility moves with Magic Bounce or Poison Heal, and gaining momentum by slow pivoting out to a teammate this sentence is ridiculously long, just mention how its good bulk and typing lets it do all this.. This is amplified by immunities and resistances to common utility moves such as Spectral Thief, Core Enforcer, U-turn, and Knock Off, along with a slow base 50 speed that underspeeds most of the other defensive Pokemon, finish this sentence
* Defensively, its typing also offers an immunity to powerful moves like Draco Meteor and Moongeist Beam. This allows it to run abilities like Unaware to check some special set up sweepers that rely on Moongeist Beam to break Unaware or Soundproof to counter -ate Pokemon. power trip resist is nice too
* Unfortunately, Mega Audino’s typing leaves it weak to Steel and Poison type attackers, this combined with its passivity allows dangerous attackers in such as Kartana, Necrozma-Dusk-Mane, and Mega Gengar.
* In addition, it’s typing doesn’t offer too many resistances, it also doesn't have spectacular bulk dino's bulk is good, just say it isn't sufficient for these threats, leaving it weak to powerful neutral attackers such as Sheer Force Mega Mewtwo Y and Adaptability Mega Mewtwo X.

Moves

* Shore Up keeps Mega Audino healthy, it is chosen since Mega Audino is a solid switch in into the most common Sand Stream user, Mega Tyranitar.
* U-turn allows Mega Audino to pivot, and thanks to its slow base 50 speed it is able to underspeed most Pokemon and bring in a teammate safely. It is chosen over other pivot moves because it is unblockable and can break Focus Sashes.
* Alternatively, Anchor Shot allows Mega Audino to trap its Imposter Pokemon and PP stall it. remove the "its"
* Core Enforcer will often suppress the opponent’s ability thanks to Mega Audino’s slow speed, and is very useful against Regenerator, Magic Bounce, and Poison Heal from Pokemon like Primal Kyogre and Giratina.
* Knock Off is an useful utility move that can remove helpful defensive items like Leftovers, Rocky Helmet, and Safety Goggles. It can also annoy Offensive Pokemon by removing their boosting item and scout for Z-Crystals. It can also Knock Off Mega Gengar's Spooky Plate.
* Entrainment allows Mega Audino to defeat Poison Heal Xerneas thanks to its solid special defense and immunity to Lovely Kiss. Combined with Anchor Shot it can trap and remove Xerneas. you actually really really struggle to switch in on xern after any chip at all bc you have 0 setup control, so put that in somewhere or add setup control as a moves option
* Defog is a good choice for teams that lack hazard removal, as Magic Bounce and Defog will prevent hazards from being set again after Mega Audino uses Defog.

Set Details
========

* A negative speed nature and minimum speed allows Mega Audino to underspeed most defensive Pokemon to slow pivot and gain momentum.
* Sassy Nature lets Mega Audino take special attacks like Primal Kyogre's Revelation Dance, Normalize Mega Gengar’s Boomburst, and Poison Heal Xerneas' Moonblast better.
* Leftovers gives Mega Audino passive recovery, allowing it to mitigate chip damage.
* Rocky Helmet punishes contact moves, including the omnipresent U-turn, it also can KO Sturdy Shedinja after its Protective Pads have been Knocked Off.
* Magic Bounce bounces back status moves such as hazards and Spore, making Mega Audino a reliable switch in to defensive Pokemon and offensive Pokemon that rely on status such as Poison Heal Mega Mewtwo X. and giratina, zygc etc

Usage Tips
========

* Due to its low speed and ability to completely wall many defensive Pokemon such as Giratina and Yveltal, Mega Audino is an excellent pivot, and U-turn is generally a safe move to click.
* Don’t attempt to stay in against powerful attackers such as Mega Mewtwo Y and Mega Diancie, as Mega Audino doesn’t have the advantageous typing nor exceptional bulk to take them on. in a pinch it can do this but it shouldnt be done if your checks are healthy, so just rephrase this to that
* While Mega Audino can beat Normalize Mega Gengar, scouting the set is important as Mega Gengar's Poison STAB will threaten Mega Audino a lot. The Adaptability set is particularly dangerous, as unlike mold breaker the ability does not reveal itself, allowing it to bluff Normalize.
* Against faster opposing defensive Pokemon, Core Enforcer is a good move to click to remove abilities, this is especially useful against Poison Heal and Regenerator from Pokemon like Giratina, Primal Kyogre, and Yveltal.
* Knock Off is also very spammable, because in general, the opponent will eventually to pivot out and thanks to Mega Audino's slow speed, they will most likely fail to pivot after the Knock Off, allowing you to remove the switch-in's items. This is especially effective on Pokemon like Primal Kyogre and Aegislash.

Team Options
========

* Steel type Pokemon are good partners because they can take on many strong wallbreakers that can pressure Mega Audino such as Mega Mewtwo Y and -ate users such as Mega Rayquaza and Mega Diancie. Registeel, Celesteela, and Aegislash are good choices.
* Bulky physical walls such as Mega Slowbro and Prankster Giratina can answer Mega Mewtwo X, Kartana, and Necrozma-DM, all of which easily force Mega Audino out.
* Mega Audino is weak to Mega Gengar's Poison type STABs, so Pokemon like RegenVest Yveltal and Primal Kyogre are useful to switch-in against it with their high special bulk.
* Mega Audino can give opportunities for opposing Pokemon to set up, so answers to setup sweepers are needed, examples include Unaware and Prankster Pokemon. -ate Pokemon like Mega Diancie can also revenge kill opponent setup sweepers.
* Strong wallbreakers like Mega Mewtwo Y and Mega Gengar appreciate Mega Audino's slow pivots and utility against defensive Pokemon to be able to sponge common utility moves like Spectral Thief, Knock Off, and U-turn.
* Imposter can scout for opposing movesets and determine if Mega Audino can safely switch in, example include Shell Smash vs Defensive variants of Mega Tyranitar this reads very weirdly and im unsure what you mean, rephrase to make this clear and Poison Fang. Imposter Chansey can also switch in to the dangerous attackers that Mega Audino struggles to deal with. Mega Audino can also slow pivot Imposter in to safely scout opponents without fearing trapping moves.
* Hazard setters can pressure the opposing team and can be imposter-proofed by Mega Audino. Examples include Giratina and Poison Heal Mega Mewtwo X.
* Mega Audino fails to threaten Sturdy Shedinja at all, which allows Shedinja to come in easily, Ghost type Pokemon such as Giratina and Aegislash that can check Shedinja are needed.

Moves
========

the biggest thing you're missing here is spectral thief. never use a poison heal audino that loses to pheal xern, and if you do you better have a very very good reason why. put it as the first slash on move 2/3/4, up to you.
* Shore Up keeps Mega Audino healthy, it is chosen since Mega Audino is a solid switch in into the most common Sand Stream user, Mega Tyranitar.
Spiky Shield is chosen over Baneful Bunker to not allow Imposter to get poisoned, while King's Shield doesn't prevent Status moves from bypassing protection which doesn't allow a safe Toxic Orb activation. because of wisp trick etc
* Core Enforcer will often suppress the opponent’s ability thanks to Mega Audino’s slow speed, and is very useful against Regenerator, Magic Bounce, and Poison Heal on Pokemon like Giratina and Primal Kyogre.
After Toxic Orb activation, Mega Audino doesn't mind Imposter Pokemon using Knock Off on it.
* Stealth Rock is a solid option on Mega Audino thanks to its good match up against most defensive Magic Bouncers such as Giratina. With the passive recovery of Poison Heal, Mega Audino can outlast some hazard removers, along with the opportunity to set it multiple times in a game.
* Defog is a good choice for teams that lack hazard removal, as Poison Heal can mitigate some hazard chip damage and Mega Audino has a good match up against many hazard setters like Giratina and Poison Heal Mega Mewtwo X.
In addition, Mega Audino can burn its Imposter Pokemon, helping Physical Wallbreaker teammates.
purify moves mention, mention how it should be used explicitly w/ koff. discuss imposterproofing changes in team options.

Set Details
========

* A negative speed nature and minimum speed allows Mega Audino to underspeed most defensive Pokemon to slow pivot and gain momentum.
* A Relaxed Nature lets Mega Audino always avoid the 2HKO from unboosted Poison Heal Regigigas' Facade while taking Anchor Shots from defensive Pokemon like Registeel better.
* On the other hand, a Sassy Nature lets Mega Audino take special moves like Primal Kyogre's Revelation Dance and Poison Heal Xerneas' Moonblast better.
* A Toxic Orb in conjunction with Poison Heal gives Mega Audino status protection, strong passive healing, and allows Mega Audino to absorb Knock Off after Toxic Orb has been activated. This allows Mega Audino to counter some offensive Poison Heal Pokemon like Mega Mewtwo X, Primal Kyogre, and Xerneas, and be able to switch in to defensive Pokemon better with Poison Heal negating chip damage. In addition, Mega Audino's Fairy typing gives it an immunity to Core Enforcer which forces out other Poison Heal Pokemon. why would it being immune to core enforcer force out opposing phers? unless im getting this wrong

Usage Tips
========

* Mega Audino is capable of safely switching in against most defensive Pokemon thanks to its typing providing immunities and resistances against common utility moves and Poison Heal providing it with a status immunity and passive healing against chip damage. This includes Giratina, Zygarde-Complete, Registeel, and others.
* It can also safely switch-in to some offensive Pokemon such as Poison Heal Mega Mewtwo X, Xerneas, and Primal Kyogre.
* Due to its low speed and ability to completely wall Pokemon such as Giratina, Yveltal, and the aforementioned offensive Poison Heal users, Mega Audino is an excellent pivot, and U-turn is generally a safe move to click.
* Don’t attempt to stay in against powerful attackers such as Mega Mewtwo Y and Mega Diancie, as Mega Audino doesn’t have the advantageous typing nor exceptional bulk to take them on. merge this w/ the next point
In addition, Mega Audino cannot reliably answer many Pokemon it used to be able to answer such as Zygarde-C and Poison Heal users until it is healthy enough.
* If Mega Audino is carrying Spiky Shield, leading it and using Spiky Shield can guarantee a safe Toxic Orb activation. Later on in the game Spiky Shield can also scout for attacks from unknown movesets or Choice locked Pokemon. like what
* Against faster opposing defensive Pokemon such as Giratina, Yveltal, and Primal Kyogre, Core Enforcer is a good move to click to remove abilities, this is especially useful against Poison Heal and Regenerator.
* Knock Off is fairly spammable, because in general, the opponent will eventually to pivot out and thanks to Mega Audino's slow speed, they will most likely fail to underspeed Mega Audino to slow pivot, allowing you to remove the switch-in's items. This is especially effective on Pokemon like Primal Kyogre and Aegislash.

Team Options
========

* Steel type Pokemon like Registeel, Aegislash, and Celesteela are good partners because they can take on many strong wallbreakers such as Mega Mewtwo Y, Pixilate Mega Diancie, and Aerilate Mega Rayquaza that can pressure Mega Audino.
* Bulky physical walls such as Mega Slowbro and Prankster Giratina can answer Mega Mewtwo X, Kartana, and Primal Groudon, all of which easily force Mega Audino out.
* Mega Audino is weak to Mega Gengar's Poison type STABs, so Pokemon like RegenVest Yveltal and Primal Kyogre are useful to switch-in against it with their high special bulk.
* Mega Audino can give opportunities for opposing Pokemon such as Mega Mewtwo X, Mega Mewtwo Y, and Kartana to set up, so answers to setup sweepers are needed, examples include Unaware and Prankster Pokemon such as Zygarde-C, Giratina, Registeel, and Primal Kyogre.
* Imposter can scout for opposing movesets and determine if Mega Audino can safely switch in, example include Shell Smash vs Defensive variants of Mega Tyranitar i dont understand this still and Belly Drum Necrozma Dusk-Mane. Imposter Chansey can also switch in to the dangerous attackers that Mega Audino struggles to deal with. Mega Audino can also slow pivot Imposter in to safely scout opponents without fearing trapping moves.
* Mega Audino can imposter proof many defensive Pokemon such as Giratina and Yveltal, in return they can check dangerous attackers that overwhelm Mega Audino, for example, Giratina can check Regigigas and Mega Mewtwo X, while Yveltal can check Mega Mewtwo Y and Mega Gengar.
* Since this Mega Audino set deters opposing Imposter Pokemon from switching in by being able to deny recovery from it or cripple it with Will-o-Wisp or Knock Off, Pokemon such as Sheer Force Mega Mewtwo Y, Choice Specs Aerilate Mega Rayquaza. and Contrary users such as Mega Sceptile and Mega Mewtwo Y appreciate opposing Imposter Pokemon being crippled or weakened.

Other Options
=============

* Spikes can be used over Stealth Rock to pressure the opposing team more with hazards, but it prefers reliable Rapid Spin support to have the best effects. im unsure what this means It can also be annoying when Imposter is trapped and lays them down.
* Purify is an option over Defog on the Magic Bounce set to defeat Poison Heal users in tandem with Knock Off. This comes at a cost of requiring another hazard remover and removing some possibilities of imposter proof Pokemon such as Poison Heal Pokemon.
* Refresh is another option over Defog on the Magic Bounce set no i dont think this is good, youre welcome to ask other qc people but im gonna ask you to remove this to cure status inflicted by Toxic Spikes or Poison Fang, it is very situational though and can end up taking up a valuable moveslot for no use, and requires another hazard remover.
* A combination of Substitute + Baton Pass can be used on the Poison Heal set to aid offensive teammates in setting up or firing strong attacks. Mega Audino will be strapped for moveslots and Imposter can take advantage of Substitute itself if Shore Up is chosen over Spiky Shield, however.
* Fur Coat is a possible set that can check some dangerous physical attackers like Mega Garchomp. However, it is much less useful than the other sets and Sunsteel Strike threatens Mega Audino through Fur Coat. In addition, Mega Garchomp is uncommon, which means Mega Audino would rather have another ability the majority of the time.
* Prankster is another possible set to act as a setup check while retaining Mega Audino's ability to gain momentum from Pokemon like Giratina. Most other Pokemon like Registeel and Giratina perform the job better though.
* An Unaware set with Shore Up, Spectral Thief, U-turn, and Core Enforcer is possible to check dangerous setup sweepers such as Contrary Mega Rayquaza and Mega Sceptile and Triage Mega Rayquaza.
* A Soundproof set with Shore Up, Parting Shot, Anchor Shot, and Core Enforcer is a decent -ate check, being able to handle Pokemon like Choice Specs or Mixed Aerilate Mega Rayquaza and Pixilate Mega Diancie.
unaware and soundproof should be the first oos these people see
discuss the merits of scald on poison heal, namely how it can bypass bounce.

Checks and Counters
===================

It must be careful of Knock Off though, as all Mega Gengar sets hate losing its item, whether it is Spooky Plate or Choice Scarf or Choice Specs.

**Strong Wallbreakers**: Mega Audino doesn't resist a lot of common offensive typings and doesn't have exceptional bulk, so strong wallbreakers like Mega Mewtwo Y, Mega Mewtwo X, and Primal Groudon can break through. Primal Groudon also doesn't fear any of Mega Audino's moves thanks to its high bulk, immunity to burns, and reduced damage from Knock Off.

**Setup Pokemon**: Mega Audino tends to be passive, which allows Pokemon to setup and overwhelm it. Poison Heal Regigigas and Xerneas in particular doesn't fear most of Mega Audino's moves apart from the rare Knock Off + Purify, Core Enforcer for Regigigas' case, and Spectral Thief for Xerneas' case. Regigigas can 2HKO it with Facade or set up while Xerneas can set up for free.

**Imposter Users**: While Imposter users usually cannot hard switch in due to the threat of trapping, sets that do not self imposter proof are very vulnerable to Imposter users switching in to freely recover.

overview
for the last point, say how not having many resistances hinders it, in particular it doesn't provide that much defensive utility to a team and can make ur squad unable to take on some offensive threats

bounce
remove core its really bad. entrain is almost always better.
slash topsy after knock and entrain, it beats gar and xern and has more pp so xern cant beat you with pp stall nonsense. checking unboosted contrary is also great as anchor aud
slash volt switch after anchor, allows u to imposter proof with trapper grounds and avoid helmet damage but very team specific. use it with pdon or something.

moves
for anchor, mention what audino gives up by forgoing uturn (no momentum, can be forced to sack a mon vs some attackers because youre unable to uturn into the check)

usage tips
keep hazards off, they can rly limit audinos ability to handle attackers especially if they have tspikes.
staying in vs diancie and mmy is fine as long as the opponent has a mon that audino can recover on. removing lo/plate can be huge for damage rolls and uturn can work out really well, also denying hazards to diancie is good.
beware of hard switching mega audino in on mons it walls if the opp has something that can easily break it like kart. they could pivot or even double out on the switch to bring in the wallbreaker.

team options
for steels mention that they can easily take on moves that hit mega audino super effectively which is neat
hazard setters are kinda nice actually, you can hard switch mega audino in on most hazard removers easily and put them in a really bad spot. if they defog you get momentum, if they pivot out hazards remain up while the switchin gets chipped.

poison heal
again remove core tbh. getting walled by xerns is actually really bad and knock provides more utility, and if ur only concerned about ph mmx i would run moonblast instead honestly. can be kept as a mention in moves tho.

moves
for knock mention eviolite as something it bops
for rocks a cool aspect of it is that youre able to force bouncers to come in, this allows you to pressure these specific mons way more effectively and is overall really nice because it prevents everything in the game from being able to switch in on audino. (example is when they have something that can check but not counter ur offensive guys, audino can pivot on him but cant hope to actually force him out without rocks)

set details
nothing

moves
spiky shield prevents shed from killing you, its not great bc he can get rocks up and ur still at 25% for the next mon with shield as the recovery move but its still a notable feature

usage tips
spiky shield to activate orb t1 is a play but it puts you at risk of opposing setup, orb activations, and other stuff. only do it if ur not scared of anything on the other team pretty much
why are all the points copy pasted? you should honestly write them by hand because even with similar sets theyll end up being slightly different. for example the knock point would now include poison fang regenvest users, shed (if ur shield), etc. i would like to see all the copy pasted stuff replaced.

team options
again what is up with the copy paste here man? you can be more specific with some of the stuff, for example steela can be better with ph than other steels because it doesnt get chipped by spikes, and it doesnt die to coverage from ates so u can safely run relaxed audino.

other options
mention why unaware and soundproof are worse than the other sets: unaware is weak to sunsteel which sucks and loses out on status move protection which is generally pretty important for audino, same for soundproof which has a pretty beneficial typing but can be chipped into espeed range fairly easily.
say why there are better prank users. audinos typing is generally not great for prank because it resists like nothing and is weak to sunsteel, and relying on uturn as ur attack can be a hindrance against setup spam.
for scald mention how its unreliable because it only has a 30% burn rate so if ur up against an offensive dude who 2hkos you its not in your favor
for subpass instead of "strapped for moveslots" just say that mega audino loses out on a lot of the utility it would otherwise have, i think this wording is more clear

checks/counters
for setup why are you mentioning ph? audino is immune to sleep, their biggest way of disrupting stuff, and it can live some hits like xern moonblast pretty comfortably. some sets run stuff like entrain too. threatening setup is stuff that just blows past it like contrary and stuff
sunsteel strike should be listed under setup not as its individual move

qc 2/3

[OVERVIEW]
Mega Audino has solid 103/126/126 mixed bulk and a fantastic typing that offers key immunities to Dragon and Ghost along with a resistance to Bug which allows it to be one of the best switch ins to defensive Pokemon. This is amplified by immunities and resistances to common utility moves such as Spectral Thief, Core Enforcer, U-turn, and Knock Off, along with a slow base 50 speed that underspeeds most of the other defensive Pokemon Note specifically defensive pivots such as Giratina, Dialga, Primal Kyogre, Zygarde-C and Aegislash. Also would note that the Core immunity enables it to run PH and Mbounce sets to great success. Defensively, its typing also offers an immunity to powerful moves like Draco Meteor, Moongeist Beam, and boosted Power Trip. This allows it to run abilities like Unaware to check some setup sweepers that rely on Moongeist Beam or Power Trip to break Unaware or Soundproof to counter -ate Pokemon The Soundproof point is more in line with its great mixed bulk rather then its typing as it does not resist any notable -ate coverage moves or boosted Espeeds and the like. Unfortunately, Mega Audino’s typing leaves it weak to Steel and Poison type attackers Would provide examples of common coverage moves such as Anchor Shot, Sunsteel, and to a lesser extent Poison Fang here, this combined with its passivity allows dangerous attackers in such as Kartana, Necrozma-Dusk-Mane, and Mega Gengar. In addition, it’s typing doesn’t offer too many resistances, it also doesn't have spectacular bulk to offset this, meaning it doesn't provide much defensive utility against strong wallbreakers such as Sheer Force Mega Mewtwo Y and Adaptability Mega Mewtwo X add Specs Mega Rayquaza and Primal Groudon here as well. This means that the team would potentially not cover some offensive threats.

Shore Up keeps Mega Audino healthy, it is chosen since Mega Audino is a solid switch in into the most common Sand Stream user, Mega Tyranitar. U-turn allows Mega Audino to pivot, with its slow base 50 speed it is able to underspeed most Pokemon and bring in a teammate safely. It is chosen over other pivot moves because it is unblockable and can break Focus Sashes seems like fluff information, would remove. Alternatively, Anchor Shot allows Mega Audino to trap Imposter Pokemon and PP stall it. However, Mega Audino will need to forgo U-turn, meaning it can lose momentum in situations and can no longer provide slow pivoting. Volt Switch is on option over U-turn to allow Mega Audino to be imposter-proofed by Ground-types with trapping moves such as Primal Groudon or Zygarde-C. It also bypasses Rocky Helmet, Baneful Bunker, and Spiky Shield. Knock Off is an useful utility move that can remove defensive items like Leftovers, Rocky Helmet, and Safety Goggles. It can also annoy offensive Pokemon by removing their boosting item and scout for Z-Crystals. It can also remove Mega Gengar's Spooky Plate which is important given its an Mbouncer and can counteract NormaGar shenanigans. Also note that it can koff Evio from Imposters who would like a free turn to come in and recover HP. Entrainment allows Mega Audino to remove abilities such as Poison Heal, which allows it to defeat Poison Heal Xerneas thanks to Mega Audino's solid special defense and immunity to Lovely Kiss. Combined with Anchor Shot it can trap and remove Xerneas. However, note that Xerneas can overwhelm Mega Audino with enough Quiver Dance boosts, so running Spectral Thief or Topsy-Turvy is recommended. It also deters other Poison Heal Pokemon such as Primal Kyogre and Regigigas from switching in. Defog is a good choice for teams that lack hazard removal, as Magic Bounce and Defog will prevent hazards from being set again after Mega Audino uses Defog. Spectral Thief is an option to deter setup and allows Mega Audino to take on Poison Heal Xerneas better.

Set Details
========

A negative speed nature and minimum speed allows Mega Audino to underspeed most defensive Pokemon to slow pivot and gain momentum. Sassy nature lets Mega Audino take special attacks like Primal Kyogre's Revelation Dance, Normalize Mega Gengar’s Boomburst, and Poison Heal Xerneas's Moonblast better. Leftovers gives Mega Audino passive recovery, allowing it to mitigate chip damage. Alternatively, Rocky Helmet punishes contact moves, including the omnipresent U-turn, it also can KO Sturdy Shedinja after its Protective Pads have been removed. Add in a mention of Lagging Tail, to ensure underspeed of Imposter and other mons like Registeel and FC Chansey. Magic Bounce bounces back status moves such as entry hazards and Spore, making Mega Audino a reliable switch in to defensive Pokemon and offensive Pokemon that rely on status such as Poison Heal Mega Mewtwo X, Giratina, and Zygarde-C.

Usage Tips
========

Mega Audino is capable of safely switching in against most defensive Pokemon thanks to its typing and Magic Bounce. This includes Giratina, Zygarde-C, Registeel, and others. However, some defensive Pokemon run Poison Fang, which can cripple Mega Audino, so scout for it before freely switching in. Mega Audino also needs to be careful if the opposing Pokemon has a teammate wallbreaker such as Choice Band Mega Mewtwo X or Kartana that can threaten Mega Audino, as the opposing Pokemon can double switch out or pivot with U-turn. Would also mention scouting mons that Mega Audino is typically used to check, such as Mega Ray which can demolish it if it is Specs. Mega Audino can also safely switch in to some offensive Pokemon such as Poison Heal Mega Mewtwo X, Normalize Mega Gengar, and Poison Heal Xerneas if Mega Audino carries Entrainment. Due to its low speed and ability to completely wall many defensive Pokemon such as Giratina and Yveltal, Mega Audino is an excellent pivot, and U-turn is generally a safe move to click. Don’t attempt to stay in against powerful attackers such as Mega Mewtwo Y and Mega Diancie, as while Mega Audino can potentially take a hit, proper checks such as Registeel are much better answers. However, if the opponent has a Pokemon that Mega Audino can recover for free on, then staying in to use Knock Off or U-turn is a plausible option to remove their item or scout for the set. Keep hazards off since Mega Audino is susceptible to all forms of entry hazards, especially Toxic Spikes. It also requires to be healthy to check some offensive Pokemon such as Poison Heal Xerneas and hazards can chip it into range. While Mega Audino can prevent hazards from some Pokemon such as Giratina and Poison Heal Mega Mewtwo X, other hazard setters like Primal Groudon and Mega Diancie can force Mega Audino out. While Mega Audino can beat Normalize Mega Gengar, scouting the set is important as Mega Gengar's Poison STAB will threaten Mega Audino a lot. The Adaptability set is particularly dangerous, as unlike Mold Breaker, the ability does not reveal itself, allowing it to bluff Normalize. Merge this with thew Specs Ray point above. Knock Off is very spammable, because in general, the opponent will eventually to pivot out and thanks to Mega Audino's slow speed, they will most likely fail to pivot after the Knock Off, allowing you to remove the switch-in's items. This is especially effective on Pokemon like Primal Kyogre and Aegislash that will always outspeed Mega Audino. Also note it being a great choice when combined with Lagging Tail, enabling it to cripple incoming mon as Imposter pivots out.

Team Options
========

Steel type Pokemon are good partners because they can take on many strong wallbreakers that can pressure Mega Audino such as Mega Mewtwo Y and -ate users such as Mega Rayquaza and Mega Diancie. Registeel, Celesteela, and Aegislash are good choices. They can also take on the Poison and Steel type moves that threaten Mega Audino super effectively. Would note specifically mons like FF Celesteela and Aegi as they can better handle threats like Contrary Mega Ray, Primal Groudon and Contra MMX. Bulky physical walls such as Mega Slowbro and Prankster Giratina can answer Mega Mewtwo X, Kartana, and Necrozma-DM, all of which easily force Mega Audino out. Mega Audino is weak to Mega Gengar's Poison type STABs, so Pokemon like RegenVest Yveltal and Primal Kyogre are useful to switch-in against it with their high special bulk. Mega Audino can give opportunities for opposing Pokemon to set up, so answers to setup sweepers are needed, examples include Unaware and Prankster Pokemon. -ate Pokemon like Mega Diancie can also revenge kill opponent setup sweepers. Strong wallbreakers like Mega Mewtwo Y and Mega Gengar appreciate Mega Audino's slow pivots and utility against defensive Pokemon to be able to sponge common utility moves like Spectral Thief, Knock Off, and U-turn. Imposter can scout for opposing movesets and determine if Mega Audino can safely switch in. For example, Mega Audino is a solid switch-in to defensive variants of Mega Tyranitar, but Shell Smash variants can KO Mega Audino with boosted Sunsteel Strike. Poison Fang is another move that Imposter can scout for to prevent Mega Audino from being badly poisoned. Imposter Chansey can also switch in to the dangerous attackers that Mega Audino struggles to deal with. In return, Mega Audino can slow pivot Imposter in to safely scout opponents without fearing trapping moves. Hazard setters can pressure the opposing team and can be imposter-proofed by Mega Audino. Examples include Giratina and Poison Heal Mega Mewtwo X. If Mega Audino isn't running Anchor Shot, an imposter proof is needed. Ghost type Pokemon such as Giratina and Aegislash that can check Shedinja are needed.

Moves
========

Shore Up keeps Mega Audino healthy, it is chosen since Mega Audino is a solid switch in into the most common Sand Stream user, Mega Tyranitar. Spiky Shield allows Mega Audino to safely activate its Toxic Orb, it also scouts moves from Pokemon with Choice Items and Z-Moves. It also lets Audino heal another 12.5% safely. Unlike Shore Up, it cannot recover health as quickly, but denies Imposter from any recovery at all. Spiky Shield also prevents Sturdy Shedinja from being able to KO Mega Audino. Spiky Shield is chosen over Baneful Bunker to not allow Imposter to get poisoned, while King's Shield doesn't prevent Status moves such as Will-O-Wisp and Trick from bypassing protection which doesn't allow a safe Toxic Orb activation. U-turn allows Mega Audino to pivot, and thanks to its slow base 50 speed it is able to underspeed most Pokemon and bring in a teammate safely. It is chosen over other pivot moves because it is unblockable and can break Focus Sashes. Again would remove this sentence to avoid fluff. It has synergy with Spiky Shield to be able to pivot while being Imposter-proof. Spectral Thief deters setup, and allows Mega Audino to check Poison Heal Xerneas. Knock Off is an useful utility move that can remove helpful defensive items like Leftovers, Rocky Helmet, Eviolite, and Safety Goggles. It can also annoy Offensive Pokemon and scout for Z-Crystals. After Toxic Orb activation, Mega Audino doesn't mind Imposter Pokemon using Knock Off on it. Core Enforcer is an option to suppress the opponent’s ability thanks to Mega Audino’s slow speed, and is very useful against Regenerator, Magic Bounce, and Poison Heal on Pokemon like Giratina and Primal Kyogre. Imposter won't affect Mega Audino's Poison Heal thanks to its Fairy typing. However, it is unable to threaten Poison Heal Xerneas. Defog is a good choice for teams that lack hazard removal, as Poison Heal can mitigate some hazard chip damage and Mega Audino has a good match up against many hazard setters like Giratina and Poison Heal Mega Mewtwo X. Stealth Rock is a solid option on Mega Audino thanks to its good match up against most defensive Magic Bouncers such as Giratina. With the passive recovery of Poison Heal, Mega Audino can outlast some hazard removers, along with the opportunity to set it multiple times in a game. It also can pressure the opposing Magic Bounce Pokemon to always come in on Mega Audino, which can be easily exploited by teammates that can pressure it effectively. It also allows Mega Audino to force out opposing Pokemon that it usually cannot threaten. Will-O-Wisp allows Mega Audino to cripple otherwise dangerous physical attackers such as Mega Mewtwo X and Kartana while chipping defensive Pokemon like Registeel and Primal Kyogre. After Toxic Orb activation, Mega Audino doesn't fear Will-o-Wisp being bounced or used by Imposter. In addition, Mega Audino can burn its Imposter Pokemon, helping physical wallbreaker teammates. Purify is an option to be used with Knock Off to check Poison Heal Pokemon by removing their Toxic Orb and curing their poison status. This does give up an utility move and requires a separate Imposter proof Pokemon.

While all this info is good, I would like it to be cut down a bit more and be more straight to the point or moved to usage tips. This sections should highlight the important aspects as to why the move is ran rather then breaking down each scenario as to when the moveslot can potentially come into play.

Set Details
========

A negative speed nature and minimum speed allows Mega Audino to underspeed most defensive Pokemon to slow pivot and gain momentum. A Relaxed nature lets Mega Audino always avoid the 2HKO from unboosted Poison Heal Regigigas' Facade while taking Anchor Shots from defensive Pokemon like Registeel and PH MMX better. On the other hand, a Sassy nature lets Mega Audino take special moves like Primal Kyogre's Revelation Dance and Poison Heal Xerneas' Moonblast better. It also allows Mega Audino to stay in on -ates better if required. A Toxic Orb in conjunction with Poison Heal gives Mega Audino status protection, strong passive healing, and allows Mega Audino to absorb Knock Off after Toxic Orb has been activated. This allows Mega Audino to counter some offensive Poison Heal Pokemon like Mega Mewtwo X, Primal Kyogre, and Xerneas, and be able to switch in to defensive Pokemon better with Poison Heal negating chip damage. In addition, Mega Audino's Fairy typing gives it an immunity to Core Enforcer, which normally forces out other Poison Heal Pokemon.

Usage Tips
========

Mega Audino can safely switch in against most defensive Pokemon thanks to its typing providing immunities and resistances against common utility moves and Poison Heal providing it with a status immunity and passive healing against chip damage. This includes Giratina, Zygarde-Complete, Registeel, and others. It can also safely switch-in to some offensive Pokemon such as Poison Heal Mega Mewtwo X, Xerneas, and Primal Kyogre. Due to its low speed and ability to completely wall Pokemon such as Giratina, Yveltal, and the aforementioned offensive Poison Heal users, Mega Audino is an excellent pivot, and U-turn is generally a safe move to click to gain momentum. If the opponent stays in, Mega Audino can easily switch back in and recover chip damage with Poison Heal. Don’t attempt to stay in against powerful attackers such as Mega Mewtwo Y and Mega Diancie, as Mega Audino doesn’t have the advantageous typing nor exceptional bulk to take them on. In addition, against Pokemon that have super effective STABs, such as Kartana and non-Normalize Mega Gengar, Mega Audino risks getting OHKOed. Furthermore, Mega Audino cannot reliably answer many Pokemon it used to be able to answer such as Zygarde-C and Poison Heal users until it is healthy enough. If Mega Audino is carrying Spiky Shield, leading it and using Spiky Shield can guarantee a safe Toxic Orb activation. This could allow the opposing Pokemon to setup or activate their own Toxic Orb, so it should only be used if there are no Pokemon on the opposing team that can effectively threaten your team. Later on in the game Spiky Shield can also scout for attacks from unknown movesets or Choice locked Pokemon such as Choice Specs Aerilate Mega Rayquaza. Knock Off is a fairly spammable move, since most defensive Pokemon cannot threaten Mega Audino effectively, combined with Mega Audino's slow speed preventing most opponents from slow pivoting out Mega Audino can threaten to remove the switch-ins item. Thanks to the status immunity, it can switch-in to most RegenVest users, even if they carry Poison Fang, and threaten to remove their Assault Vest. If it carries Spiky Shield, it can even stay in on Sturdy Shedinja to remove its Protective Pads.

Very well done and informative! Would just note that if it carries Spiky Shield, it generally should be pivoting and be played more aggressively due to it lacking the ability of reliable recovery.

Team Options
========

Steel-type Pokemon like Registeel, Aegislash, and Celesteela are good partners because they can take on many strong wallbreakers such as Mega Mewtwo Y, Pixilate Mega Diancie, and Aerilate Mega Rayquaza that can pressure Mega Audino. Celesteela can blanket check -ates and isn't vulnerable to Spikes compared to other steels, which allows Mega Audino to run a Relaxed nature as it no longer needs to stay in against -ates because the steel cannot safely switch in. They also appreciate Mega Audino's ability to take a hit to scout the set if needed. Again would stress Flash Fire steel especially since they can be used to check most -ates and Contrary mons alongside Cele checking Pdon. Bulky physical walls such as Mega Slowbro and Prankster Giratina can answer Mega Mewtwo X, Kartana, and Primal Groudon, all of which easily force Mega Audino out. In return, Mega Audino provides a status absorber and a slow pivot to gain momentum. Mega Audino is weak to Mega Gengar, so Pokemon like RegenVest Yveltal, RegenVest Dialga, and Primal Kyogre are useful to switch-in against it with their high special bulk. Mega Dino can also absorb Koff which can threaten RegenVest mons specifically. Mega Audino can give opportunities for opposing Pokemon such as Mega Mewtwo X, Mega Mewtwo Y, and Kartana to set up, so answers to setup sweepers are needed, examples include Unaware and Prankster Pokemon such as Zygarde-C, Giratina, Registeel, and Primal Kyogre. Other slow pivots like Registeel and Mega Slowbro can let Mega Audino in safely to activate its Toxic Orb should it not carry Spiky Shield. Strong but frail wallbreakers like Mega Mewtwo Y and Mega Gengar appreciate Mega Audino's ability to switch-in to checks such as Yveltal and Primal Kyogre and slow pivot out, gaining momentum. Imposter can scout for opposing movesets and determine if Mega Audino can safely switch in. For example, Mega Audino is a solid switch-in to defensive variants of Mega Tyranitar, but Shell Smash variants can KO Mega Audino with boosted Sunsteel Strike. Dont repeat the same point twice. Imposter Chansey can also switch in to the dangerous attackers that Mega Audino struggles to deal with. In return, Mega Audino can slow pivot Imposter in to safely scout opponents without fearing trapping moves as well as providing a status absorber and a switch-in against imposter-proof Poison Heal Pokemon like Xerneas and Mega Mewtwo X. Mega Audino can imposter proof many defensive Pokemon such as Giratina and Yveltal, in return they can check dangerous attackers that overwhelm Mega Audino, for example, Giratina can check Regigigas and Mega Mewtwo X, while Yveltal can check Mega Mewtwo Y and Mega Gengar. Since this Mega Audino set deters opposing Imposter Pokemon from switching in by being able to deny recovery from it or cripple it with Will-o-Wisp or Knock Off, Pokemon such as Sheer Force Mega Mewtwo Y, Choice Specs Aerilate Mega Rayquaza. and Contrary users such as Mega Sceptile and Mega Mewtwo Y appreciate opposing Imposter Pokemon being crippled or weakened. If Purify is run, a separate Imposter proof is needed, this can be any Pokemon that doesn't mind having its item removed such as Registeel, Ferrothorn, and Ho-Oh.

Other Options
=============

An Unaware set with Shore Up, Spectral Thief, U-turn, and Core Enforcer is possible to check dangerous setup sweepers such as Contrary Mega Rayquaza and Mega Sceptile and Triage Mega Rayquaza. However, due to its weakness to Sunsteel Strike it cannot effectively check physical setup attackers and also loses out on the status protection Magic Bounce and Poison Heal provide. It also generally struggles against Contrary mons due to it being overwhelmed most of the time. A Soundproof set with Shore Up, Parting Shot, Anchor Shot, and Core Enforcer is a decent -ate check, being able to handle Pokemon like Choice Specs or Mixed Aerilate Mega Rayquaza and Pixilate Mega Diancie. However, it can be chipped into Extreme Speed range from -ates and Mega Audino also doesn't like losing status protection. Fur Coat is a possible set that can check some dangerous physical attackers like Mega Garchomp. However, it is much less useful than the other sets and Sunsteel Strike threatens Mega Audino through Fur Coat. In addition, Mega Garchomp is uncommon, which means Mega Audino would rather have another ability the majority of the time. Prankster is another possible set to act as a setup check while retaining Mega Audino's ability to gain momentum from Pokemon like Giratina. Most other Pokemon like Registeel and Giratina perform the job better though with their better typing as Mega Audino is weak to Sunsteel Strike, a common move used on setup Pokemon. Mega Audino will also be very passive with U-turn as the only damaging move. Spikes can be used over Stealth Rock to pressure the opposing team more with hazards, but it prefers reliable Rapid Spin support to not clear entry hazards on the opponent's side. It can also be annoying when Imposter is trapped and lays them down. Purify is an option over Defog on the Magic Bounce set to defeat Poison Heal users in tandem with Knock Off. This comes at a cost of requiring another hazard remover and removing some possibilities of Imposter proof Pokemon such as Poison Heal Pokemon. Scald is an interesting option on the Poison Heal set as a way to burn opposing Pokemon without being blocked by Magic Bounce, unlike Will-O-Wisp. It is much more unreliable than Will-O-Wisp with its 30% burn chance, which can be important in situations against physical attackers than can 2HKO Mega Audino. A combination of Substitute + Baton Pass can be used on the Poison Heal set to aid offensive teammates in setting up or firing strong attacks. However, Mega Audino will lose a lot of the utility provided by other moves and Imposter Pokemon can take advantage of Substitute itself if Shore Up is chosen over Spiky Shield.

Checks and Counters
===================

It must be careful of Knock Off though, as all Mega Gengar sets hate losing its item, whether it is Spooky Plate or Choice Scarf or Choice Specs. Also mention MBounce being a great NormaGar check in general.

Shell Smash users can easily setup if Mega Audino isn't carrying Spectral Thief, and threaten it immediately at +2. Contrary users can threaten Mega Audino with powerful attacks while boosting. Some setup Pokemon also carry Sunsteel Strike and or Photon Geyser, which can heavily damage Mega Audino.

**Entry Hazards**: Mega Audino needs to be at high health to reliably check the Pokemon it needs to check, and entry hazards like Stealth Rock and Spikes chip it down.

**Imposter Users**: While Imposter users usually cannot hard switch in due to the threat of trapping, sets that do not self imposter proof are very vulnerable to Imposter users switching in to freely recover. They can also PP stall Mega Dino quite effectively depending on the set as well which can be annoying.

Would also mention status moves, (mainly Poison Fang) threatening the Mbounce set alongside opposing defensive walls being able to outlast Mega Dino due to its general passivity.

Great job! Would like to see this implemented before sending this off to GP tho.

Implemented everything except for Magic Bounce checking Mega Rayquaza which idt it does and the Photon Geyser point at the end, which doesn't do a lot to Mega Audino on setup mons if it is unboosted, and even if it is boosted another move would typically do more (Sunsteel is mentioned for its SE damage)

[OVERVIEW]
Mega Audino's has solid 103/126/126 mixed bulk and a fantastic typing that offers with key immunities to Dragon and Ghost along with and a resistance to Bug which allows allow it to be one of the best switch-ins (AH) to defensive Pokemon. This is amplified by immunities and resistances to common utility moves such as Spectral Thief, Core Enforcer, U-turn, and Knock Off, along with a slow base 50 Speed that underspeeds lets it underspeed most of the other defensive pivots such as Giratina, Zygarde-C, and Primal Kyogre. The Its immunity to Core Enforcer also allows it to run Magic Bounce and Poison Heal very effectively without having them removed. Defensively, its typing also offers an immunity to powerful moves like Draco Meteor (RC) and Moongeist Beam (RC) and a resistance to boosted Power Trip. This allows it to run Unaware to check some setup sweepers that rely on Moongeist Beam or Power Trip to break Unaware. It’s Its solid mixed bulk along with a neutrality to common coverage and STAB moves from -ate Pokemon allows for also makes a Soundproof set viable. (it's only in OO though) Unfortunately, Mega Audino’s typing leaves it weak to Steel- (AH) and Poison-type (AH) moves, including common coverage moves such as Sunsteel Strike and Anchor Shot, this which combined with its passivity allows dangerous attackers in such as Kartana, Necrozma-Dusk-Mane, Necrozma-DM, and Mega Gengar to switch in safely. In addition, it’s its typing doesn’t offer too many resistances (RC) and it also doesn't have spectacular bulk to offset this, meaning it doesn't provide much defensive utility against strong wallbreakers such as Sheer Force Mega Mewtwo Y, Choice Band Mega Mewtwo X, Choice Specs Mega Rayquaza, and Primal Groudon (RC) This means that and the team would potentially might not cover some offensive threats.

Moves

Shore Up keeps Mega Audino healthy, it is chosen since and often gets a recovery boost because Mega Audino is a solid switch-in (AH) into the most common Sand Stream user, Mega Tyranitar. U-turn allows Mega Audino to pivot, and with its slow low base 50 speed it is able to underspeed most Pokemon and bring in a teammate safely. Alternatively, Anchor Shot allows Mega Audino to trap Imposter Pokemon and PP stall it them. However, Mega Audino will need having to forgo U-turn, meaning it means Mega Audino can lose momentum in situations and can no longer provide slow pivoting. Volt Switch is on option over U-turn to allow Mega Audino to be Imposter-proofed by Ground-types with trapping moves such as Primal Groudon or and Zygarde-C. It also bypasses Rocky Helmet, Baneful Bunker, and Spiky Shield. Knock Off is an useful utility move that can remove defensive items like Leftovers, Rocky Helmet, and Safety Goggles, (comma) It can also annoy offensive Pokemon by removing their boosting item, (AC) and scout for Z-Crystals. It can also notably remove Mega Gengar's Spooky Plate, (comma) and letting Mega Audino act as a great check to it thanks to Magic Bounce and its immunity to Ghost-type moves. Knock Off also deters Imposter Chansey from switching in (RH) freely by threatening to remove its Eviolite. Entrainment allows Mega Audino to remove abilities such as Poison Heal, which notably allows it Mega Audino to defeat Poison Heal Xerneas thanks to Mega Audino's its solid Special Defense and immunity to Lovely Kiss, (comma) especially combined with Anchor Shot it can to trap and remove Xerneas it,(comma) and deters other Poison Heal Pokemon such as Primal Kyogre and Regigigas from switching in. However, note that Xerneas can overwhelm Mega Audino with enough Quiver Dance boosts, so running Spectral Thief or Topsy-Turvy is recommended. It also deters other Poison Heal Pokemon such as Primal Kyogre and Regigigas from switching in. Defog is a good choice for teams that lack entry hazard removal, as Magic Bounce and Defog will prevent hazards from being set again after Mega Audino uses Defog. Spectral Thief is an option to deter setup and allows Mega Audino to take on Poison Heal Xerneas better.

Set Details

A negative Speed nature and minimum Speed allows allow Mega Audino to underspeed most defensive Pokemon to provide a slow pivot and gain momentum. Sassy nature lets Mega Audino take special attacks like Primal Kyogre's Revelation Dance, Normalize Mega Gengar’s Boomburst, and Poison Heal Xerneas's Moonblast better. Leftovers gives Mega Audino passive recovery, allowing it allows Mega Audino to mitigate chip damage. Alternatively, Rocky Helmet punishes contact moves, including the omnipresent U-turn, it and also can KO Sturdy Shedinja after its Protective Pads have has been removed. Lagging Tail is an option to guarantee underspeeding Imposter Pokemon and other base 50 Speed Pokemon like Registeel and Chansey. Magic Bounce bounces back status moves such as entry hazards and Spore, making makes Mega Audino a reliable switch-in (AH) to defensive Pokemon and offensive Pokemon that rely on status moves such as Poison Heal Mega Mewtwo X, Giratina, and Zygarde-C.

Usage Tips
========

Mega Audino is capable of safely switching in against most defensive Pokemon thanks to its typing and Magic Bounce. This includes being able to completely wall foes like Giratina, Zygarde-C, Registeel, and others Yveltal. In tandem with its low Speed, this makes Mega Audino an excellent pivot, and U-turn is generally a safe move to click. (grouping related stuff together, double check content etc) However, some defensive Pokemon run Poison Fang, which can cripple Mega Audino, so scout for it before freely liberally switching in. Scouting for offensive Pokemon that Mega Audino can check is important, (AC) as a different set many Pokemon can heavily damage if not outright KO Mega Audino if they're running a different set. This includes These include Mega Gengar, who which can bluff Normalize with Adaptability, and Dark-types, which can bluff defensive sets with offensive sets carrying Sunsteel Strike. Mega Audino also needs to be careful if the opposing Pokemon's team has a teammate wallbreaker such as Choice Band Mega Mewtwo X or Kartana that can threaten Mega Audino, as the opposing Pokemon can double switch out or pivot with U-turn. Mega Audino can also safely switch in to into some offensive Pokemon such as Poison Heal Mega Mewtwo X, Normalize Mega Gengar, and Poison Heal Xerneas if Mega Audino it carries Entrainment. Keep entry hazards off the field, (AC) since Mega Audino is susceptible to all forms of entry hazards them, especially Toxic Spikes. It also requires to be healthy to check some offensive Pokemon such as Poison Heal Xerneas, (AC) and hazards can chip wear it down into KO range. While Mega Audino can prevent hazards from some Pokemon such as Giratina and Poison Heal Mega Mewtwo X, other hazard setters like Primal Groudon and Mega Diancie can force Mega Audino out. Knock Off is very spammable, because in general, the opponent opposing Pokemon will eventually want to pivot out, (AC) and thanks to Mega Audino's slow low Speed, they will most likely fail to pivot after the Knock Off, allowing you to remove the switch-in's items item. This is especially effective on Pokemon like Primal Kyogre and Aegislash that will always outspeed Mega Audino. If combined with Lagging Tail, Mega Audino will always go after the opposing Pokemon, guaranteeing the removal of the switch-in's item.

Team Options
========

Steel type Pokemon such as Registeel, Celesteela, and Aegislash are good partners because they can take on many strong wallbreakers that can pressure Mega Audino such as Mega Mewtwo Y and -ate users such as Mega Rayquaza and Mega Diancie. Registeel, Celesteela, and Aegislash are good choices. They can also take on the Poison- (AH) and Steel-type (AH) moves that threaten Mega Audino super effectively. Flash Fire Celesteela can also check Primal Groudon, (AC) while Aegislash can check Mega Mewtwo X. Bulky physical walls such as Mega Slowbro and Prankster Giratina can answer Mega Mewtwo X, Kartana, and Necrozma-DM, all of which easily force Mega Audino out. Mega Audino is weak to Mega Gengar's Poison-type (AH) STAB attacks, so specially bulky Pokemon like RegenVest Yveltal and Primal Kyogre are useful to switch in (RH) against it with their high special bulk. Mega Audino can give opportunities for opposing Pokemon to set up, so answers to setup sweepers are needed; (SC) examples include Unaware and Prankster Pokemon. (such as?) -ate Pokemon like Mega Diancie can also revenge kill opponent setup sweepers. Strong wallbreakers like Mega Mewtwo Y and Mega Gengar appreciate Mega Audino's slow pivots pivoting and utility against defensive Pokemon to be able ability to sponge common utility moves like Spectral Thief, Knock Off, and U-turn from defensive Pokemon. Imposter users can scout for opposing movesets and determine if Mega Audino can safely switch in. Imposter Chansey can also switch in to into the dangerous attackers that Mega Audino struggles to deal with. In return, Mega Audino can slow pivot Imposter bring Chansey in with a slow pivot to safely scout opponents opposing Pokemon without fearing trapping moves. Entry hazard setters such as Giratina and Poison Heal Mega Mewtwo X can pressure the opposing team and can be Imposter-proofed by Mega Audino. Examples include Giratina and Poison Heal Mega Mewtwo X. If Mega Audino isn't running Anchor Shot, an imposter proof a way to Imposter-proof it is needed. As a result, Ghost-type (AH) Pokemon such as Giratina and Aegislash that can check Shedinja are needed.

Spiky Shield allows Mega Audino to safely activate its Toxic Orb, it also scouts as well as scout moves from Pokemon with Choice items and Z-Moves. It also lets Audino heal and safely gain another 12.5% of its maximum health safely round of Poison Heal Recovery. Unlike Shore Up, While it cannot recover health as quickly as Shore Up, but it denies Imposter users from any recovery at all. Spiky Shield also prevents Sturdy Shedinja from being able to KO Mega Audino. Spiky Shield is chosen over Baneful Bunker to not allow prevent opposing Imposter to get users from getting poisoned, while King's Shield doesn't prevent Status moves such as Will-O-Wisp and Trick from bypassing protection which doesn't allow a safe Toxic Orb activation due to its inability to prevent status moves such as Will-O-Wisp and Trick. U-turn allows Mega Audino to pivot, and thanks to its slow low base 50 speed it is able to underspeed most opposing Pokemon and bring in a teammate safely. It U-turn has synergy with Spiky Shield to be able allow Mega Audino to pivot while being Imposter proof. Knock Off is an useful utility move that can remove helpful defensive items like Leftovers, Rocky Helmet, Eviolite, and Safety Goggles, (comma) It can also annoy offensive Pokemon, (AC) and scout for Z-Crystals. Core Enforcer is an option to suppress the opponent’s opposing Pokemon's ability thanks to Mega Audino’s slow low Speed, (AC) and Imposter it won't affect Mega Audino's Poison Heal when used by its Imposter thanks to its Fairy typing. However, it is unable to threaten Poison Heal Xerneas. Defog is a good choice for teams that lack entry hazard removal, as Poison Heal can mitigate some hazard chip damage and Mega Audino has a good match up matchup against many hazard setters like Giratina and Poison Heal Mega Mewtwo X. Stealth Rock is a solid option on Mega Audino thanks to its good match up matchup against most defensive Magic Bounce users such as Giratina. Will-O-Wisp allows Mega Audino to cripple otherwise dangerous physical attackers such as Mega Mewtwo X and Kartana while chipping defensive Pokemon like Registeel and Primal Kyogre. In addition, Mega Audino can burn its Imposter Pokemon, helping physical wallbreakers teammates on its team. Purify is an option to be used with Knock Off to check Poison Heal Pokemon by removing their Toxic Orb and curing their poison status. However, this does give up an come at the cost of a utility move and requires requiring another Pokemon to Imposter-proof Mega Audino.

A negative Speed nature and minimum Speed allows Mega Audino to underspeed most defensive Pokemon to provide a slow pivot and gain momentum. A Relaxed nature lets Mega Audino always avoid the 2HKO from unboosted Poison Heal Regigigas' Regigigas's Facade while taking Anchor Shots from defensive Pokemon like Registeel better. On the other hand, a Sassy nature lets Mega Audino take special moves like Primal Kyogre's Revelation Dance and Poison Heal Xerneas' Xerneas's Moonblast better. It also allows Mega Audino to stay in on -ate users better if required. A Toxic Orb in conjunction with Poison Heal gives Mega Audino status protection, strong sizable passive healing, and allows Mega Audino the ability to to absorb Knock Off after Toxic Orb has been activated. This allows Mega Audino to counter some offensive Poison Heal Pokemon like Mega Mewtwo X, Primal Kyogre, and Xerneas (RC) and be able to switch in to into defensive Pokemon better, (AC) with Poison Heal negating chip damage. In addition, Mega Audino's Fairy typing gives it an immunity to Core Enforcer, which normally forces out other Poison Heal Pokemon.

Usage Tips
========

Mega Audino can safely switch in against most defensive Pokemon such as Giratina, Zygarde-C, and Registeel thanks to its typing providing immunities and resistances against common utility moves and Poison Heal providing it with a status immunity and passive healing against chip damage. This includes Giratina, Zygarde-Complete, Registeel, and others. It can also safely switch-in to switch into some offensive Pokemon such as Poison Heal Mega Mewtwo X, Xerneas, and Primal Kyogre. Due to its low Speed and ability to completely wall Pokemon such as Giratina, Yveltal, and the aforementioned offensive Poison Heal users, Mega Audino is an excellent pivot, and U-turn is generally a safe move to click to gain momentum. If the opponent opposing Pokemon stays in, Mega Audino can easily switch back in and recover chip damage with Poison Heal. After Toxic Orb activation, Mega Audino is also a fantastic Knock Off absorber. If Mega Audino is carrying Stealth Rock, it can pressure force in the opposing Magic Bounce Pokemon to always come in on Mega Audino on it, which can be easily exploited by teammates that can pressure it effectively. It also allows Mega Audino to force out opposing Pokemon that it usually cannot threaten. Don’t attempt to stay in against powerful attackers such as Mega Mewtwo Y and Mega Diancie, as Mega Audino doesn’t have the advantageous defensive typing nor or exceptional bulk to take them on. Furthermore, Mega Audino cannot can no longer reliably answer many Pokemon it used to be able to answer such as Zygarde-C and Poison Heal users until it is healthy enough. If Mega Audino is carrying Spiky Shield, leading with it and using Spiky Shield can guarantee a safe Toxic Orb activation. However, this could allow the opposing Pokemon to setup set up or activate their its own Toxic Orb, so it should only be used if there are no Pokemon on the opposing team that can effectively threaten your team. Later on in the game, (AC) Spiky Shield can also scout for attacks from unknown movesets or Choice-locked (AH) Pokemon such as Choice Specs Aerilate Mega Rayquaza. Mega Audino should also be played more aggressively with Spiky Shield and pivot frequently, since it lacks the immediate healing. Knock Off is a fairly spammable move, since most defensive Pokemon cannot threaten Mega Audino effectively, combined with and with Mega Audino's slow low Speed preventing most opponents opposing Pokemon from slowly pivoting out, (AC) Mega Audino can threaten to remove the switch-ins item. Thanks to the status immunity, it can switch-in to switch into most RegenVest users, even if they carry Poison Fang, and threaten to remove their Assault Vest. If it carries Spiky Shield, it can even stay in on Sturdy Shedinja to remove its Protective Pads.

Flash Fire Celesteela can blanket check -ate users and Primal Groudon and isn't vulnerable to Spikes compared to other Steel-types, which allows Mega Audino to run a Relaxed nature, (AC) as it no longer needs to stay in against -ates because cover -ate users for the Steel-type Pokemon cannot safely switch in. In return, Mega Audino provides a status absorber and a slow pivot to gain momentum. Mega Audino is weak to Mega Gengar, so specially bulky Pokemon like RegenVest Yveltal, Dialga, and Primal Kyogre are useful to switch in (RH) against it with their high special bulk. In return, Mega Audino acts as a good Knock Off absorber which that could remove their Assault Vests. Mega Audino can give opportunities for opposing Pokemon such as Mega Mewtwo X, Mega Mewtwo Y, and Kartana to set up, so answers to setup sweepers are needed; (SC) examples include Unaware and Prankster Pokemon such as Zygarde-C, Giratina, Registeel, and Primal Kyogre. Other slow pivots like Registeel and Mega Slowbro can let Mega Audino in safely to activate its Toxic Orb should it not carry Spiky Shield. Strong but frail wallbreakers like Mega Mewtwo Y and Mega Gengar appreciate Mega Audino's ability to switch-in to switch into checks such as Yveltal and Primal Kyogre and slow pivot out, gaining gain momentum. Imposter users can scout for opposing movesets and determine if Mega Audino can safely switch in. Imposter Chansey can also switch in to the dangerous attackers that Mega Audino struggles to deal with. In return, Mega Audino can slow pivot Imposter bring Chansey in with U-turn in to safely scout opponents opposing Pokemon without fearing trapping moves as well as providing a status absorber and a switch-in against Imposter-proof Poison Heal Pokemon like Xerneas and Mega Mewtwo X. Mega Audino can Imposter-proof (AH) many defensive Pokemon such as Giratina and Yveltal, which in return they can check dangerous attackers that overwhelm Mega Audino; (SC) for example, Giratina can check Regigigas and Mega Mewtwo X, while Yveltal can check Mega Mewtwo Y and Mega Gengar. Since this Mega Audino set deters opposing Imposter Pokemon from switching in by being able to deny their recovery from it or cripple it them with Will-O-Wisp or Knock Off, Pokemon such as Sheer Force Mega Mewtwo Y (RC) and Choice Specs Aerilate Mega Rayquaza that appreciate opposing Imposter Pokemon being crippled or weakened are good partners. If Purify is run, a separate way to Imposter-proof (AH) Mega Audino is needed; (SC) this can be any Pokemon that doesn't mind having its item removed, (AC) such as Registeel, Ferrothorn, and or Ho-Oh.

An Unaware set with Shore Up, Spectral Thief, U-turn, and Core Enforcer is possible to check dangerous setup sweepers such as Triage Mega Rayquaza. A Soundproof set with Shore Up, Parting Shot, Anchor Shot, and Core Enforcer is a decent check to -ate check users, being able to handle Pokemon like Choice Specs or mixed Aerilate Mega Rayquaza and Pixilate Mega Diancie. However, it can be chipped worn down into -ate Extreme Speed range, (AC) from -ates and Mega Audino also doesn't like losing status protection. A Fur Coat is a possible set that can check some dangerous physical attackers like Mega Garchomp. However, it is much less useful than the other sets, (AC) and Sunsteel Strike threatens Mega Audino through Fur Coat. In addition, Mega Garchomp is uncommon, which means Mega Audino would rather have another ability the majority of the time. Prankster is another possible set to act as a setup check while retaining Mega Audino's ability to gain momentum from Pokemon like Giratina. Most other Pokemon like Registeel and Giratina perform the job better, (AC) though, (AC) with their better typing, (AC) as Mega Audino is weak to Sunsteel Strike, a common move used on setup Pokemon. Mega Audino will also be very passive with U-turn as the its only damaging move. Spikes can be used over Stealth Rock to pressure the opposing team more with entry hazards, but it Mega Audino prefers reliable Rapid Spin support to not clear avoid clearing entry hazards on the opponent's side. It can also be annoying when a trapped Imposter is trapped and lays them down. Purify is an option over Defog on the Magic Bounce set to defeat Poison Heal users in tandem with Knock Off. However, this comes at a cost of requiring another hazard remover and removing some possibilities of Imposter proof Pokemon such as Poison Heal Pokemon users as possible ways to Imposter-proof Mega Audino. Scald is an interesting option on the Poison Heal set as a way to burn opposing Pokemon without being that cannot be blocked by Magic Bounce, unlike Will-O-Wisp. However, Mega Audino will lose a lot of the utility provided by other moves, (AC) and Imposter Pokemon can take advantage of Substitute itself if Shore Up is chosen over Spiky Shield.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Offensive Steel-types**: Mega Audino is weak to Steel, and its passivity leaves it prone open to powerful Steel-types like Kartana, Necrozma-DM, and offensive Dialga to fire firing off strong attacks or setting up.

**Mega Gengar**: Mega Gengar threatens Mega Audino with STAB Poison type moves. It must be careful of Knock Off, (AC) though, as all Mega Gengar sets hate losing its their item, whether it is Spooky Plate, (AC) or Choice Scarf, (AC) or Choice Specs.

**Setup Pokemon**: Mega Audino tends to be passive, which allows Pokemon to setup set up on and overwhelm it. Shell Smash users can easily setup set up if Mega Audino isn't carrying Spectral Thief (RC) and threaten it immediately at +2 after a boost.

**Imposter Users**: While Imposter users usually cannot hard switch into Audino due to the threat of trapping, sets that do not self-Imposter-proof (AH) are very vulnerable to Imposter users switching in to freely recover and PP stall.

**Poison Fang**: Poison Fang can threaten all Mega Audino sets except for Poison Heal with Toxic status, chipping it down throughout the course of the game. This is especially problematic on the Magic Bounce set, (AC) that as it commonly switches into defensive Pokemon such as Giratina and Zygarde-C.

[OVERVIEW]
Mega Audino's solid mixed bulk and fantastic typing with key immunities to Dragon and Ghost and a resistance to Bug (you kind of repeat this in the next sentence) allows it to be one of the best switch-ins to defensive Pokemon. This is amplified by immunities and resistances to common utility moves such as Spectral Thief, Core Enforcer, U-turn, and Knock Off, along with a low base 50 Speed that lets it underspeed most of the other defensive pivots such as Giratina, Zygarde-C, and Primal Kyogre (explain why this is important, eg. "so its U-turn goes last"). Its immunity to Core Enforcer also allows it to run Magic Bounce and Poison Heal very effectively without fear of having them removed. Defensively, its typing also offers an immunity to powerful moves like Draco Meteor and Moongeist Beam and a resistance to boosted Power Trip. This allows it to run Unaware to check some setup sweepers that rely on Moongeist Beam or Power Trip to break Unaware users. Its solid mixed bulk along with a neutrality to common coverage and STAB moves from -ate Pokemon also makes a Soundproof set viable. Unfortunately, Mega Audino’s typing leaves it weak to Steel- and Poison- type moves, including common coverage moves such as Sunsteel Strike and Anchor Shot, which combined with its passivity allows dangerous attackers such as Kartana, Necrozma-DM, and Mega Gengar to switch in safely. In addition, its typing doesn’t offer too many resistances and it also (repetition, you said "in addition") doesn't have spectacular bulk to offset this, meaning that it doesn't provide much defensive utility against strong wallbreakers such as Sheer Force Mega Mewtwo Y, Choice Band Mega Mewtwo X, Choice Specs Mega Rayquaza, and Primal Groudon [and the its team might not be able to cover some offensive threats] (subjective: i would remove the part in [], it doesn't really add anything).

Moves
========

Shore Up keeps Mega Audino healthy, and is preferred over other recovery moves since it can get a recovery boost because Mega Audino is a solid switch-in to the most common Sand Stream user, Mega Tyranitar. U-turn allows Mega Audino to pivot, and with its low base 50 Speed it is able to underspeed most Pokemon and bring in a teammate safely. Alternatively, Anchor Shot allows Mega Audino to trap Imposter Pokemon and PP stall them. However, having to forgo U-turn means that Mega Audino can lose momentum in some situations and can no longer provide slow pivoting. Volt Switch is on option over U-turn to allow Mega Audino to be Imposter-proofed by Ground-types with trapping moves, (AC) such as Primal Groudon and Zygarde-C. It also bypasses Rocky Helmet, Baneful Bunker, and Spiky Shield. Knock Off can remove defensive Pokemons' items like Leftovers, Rocky Helmet, and Safety Goggles, annoy offensive Pokemon by removing their boosting items, and scout for Z-Crystals. Entrainment notably allows Mega Audino to defeat Poison Heal Xerneas thanks to its Mega Audino's solid Special Defense and immunity to Lovely Kiss, especially when combined with Anchor Shot to trap and remove it, and deters other Poison Heal Pokemon such as Primal Kyogre and Regigigas from switching in.

A negative Speed nature and minimum 0 Speed IVs allow Mega Audino to underspeed most defensive Pokemon in order to provide a slow pivot and gain momentum. A Sassy nature lets Mega Audino take special attacks like Primal Kyogre's Revelation Dance, Normalize Mega Gengar’s Boomburst, and Poison Heal Xerneas's Moonblast better. Leftovers allows Mega Audino to mitigate chip damage. Alternatively, Rocky Helmet punishes contact moves, including the omnipresent U-turn, and also can KO Sturdy Shedinja after its Protective Pads has been removed. Lagging Tail is an option to guarantee underspeeding that Mega Audino underspeeds Imposter Pokemon and other base 50 Speed Pokemon like Registeel and Chansey. Magic Bounce makes Mega Audino a reliable switch-in to defensive Pokemon and offensive Pokemon that rely on status moves such as Poison Heal Mega Mewtwo X, Giratina, and Zygarde-C.

Usage Tips
========

Mega Audino is capable of safely switching in against most defensive Pokemon thanks to its typing and Magic Bounce being able to letting it (Mega Audino walls foes, not Magic Bounce) completely wall foes like Giratina, Zygarde-C, Registeel, and Yveltal. In tandem with its low Speed, this makes Mega Audino an excellent pivot, and U-turn is generally a safe move to click. However, some defensive Pokemon run Poison Fang, which can cripple Mega Audino, so scout for it before liberally switching in. Scouting for offensive Pokemon that Mega Audino can check before attempting to check them with Mega Audino (the previous phrasing makes it sound like you already know Mega Audino can check them) is important, as many Pokemon can heavily damage if not outright KO Mega Audino if they are running a different set. These include Mega Gengar, which can bluff Normalize with while running Adaptability, and Dark-types, which can bluff defensive sets with while running offensive sets carrying Sunsteel Strike. Mega Audino also needs to be careful if the opposing Pokemon's team has a wallbreaker such as Choice Band Mega Mewtwo X or Kartana that can threaten Mega Audino, as the opposing Pokemon can double switch out or pivot into said wallbreaker with U-turn. Mega Audino can also safely switch into some offensive Pokemon such as Poison Heal Mega Mewtwo X, Normalize Mega Gengar, and Poison Heal Xerneas if it carries Entrainment. Don’t attempt to stay in against powerful attackers such as Mega Mewtwo Y and Mega Diancie, as while Mega Audino can potentially take a hit from them, proper checks such as Registeel are much better answers. However, if the opponent has a Pokemon that Mega Audino can recover for free on, staying in to use Knock Off or U-turn is a plausible option to remove their item or scout for the their set. Keep entry hazards off the field, since Mega Audino is susceptible to all forms of them, especially Toxic Spikes. It also (this is continuing your talking point about entry hazards, so no "also") requires needs to be healthy in order to check some offensive Pokemon such as Poison Heal Xerneas, and hazards can wear it down into KO range. While Mega Audino can prevent deflect (subjective, but it sounds a lot less awkward imo) hazards from some Pokemon such as Giratina and Poison Heal Mega Mewtwo X, other setters like Primal Groudon and Mega Diancie can force Mega Audino out. Knock Off is very spammable, because in general (RC) the opposing Pokemon will eventually want to pivot out, and thanks to Mega Audino's low Speed, they will most likely fail to pivot after before the it uses Knock Off, allowing you to remove the switch-in's item. This is especially effective on Pokemon like Primal Kyogre and Aegislash that will always outspeed Mega Audino. (you already mentioned Mega Audino's low speed in the previous sentence. if you want to keep the examples you can say: Pokemon like Primal Kyogre and Aegislash will pivot before...) If combined with Lagging Tail, Mega Audino will always go after the opposing Pokemon, guaranteeing the removal of the switch-in's item.

Team Options

Steel-type (AH) Pokemon such as Registeel, Celesteela, and Aegislash are good partners because they can take on many strong wallbreakers that can pressure Mega Audino such as Mega Mewtwo Y and -ate users such as Mega Rayquaza and Mega Diancie. They can also take on the switch into Poison- and Steel- type moves that threaten Mega Audino super effectively. Flash Fire Celesteela can also check Primal Groudon, while Aegislash can check Mega Mewtwo X. Bulky physical walls such as Mega Slowbro and Prankster Giratina can answer check Mega Mewtwo X, Kartana, and Necrozma-DM, all of which easily force Mega Audino out. Mega Audino is weak to Mega Gengar's Poison-type STAB attacks, so specially bulky Pokemon like RegenVest Yveltal and RegenVest Primal Kyogre are useful to switch in against it. Mega Audino can give opportunities for opposing Pokemon to set up, so answers to setup sweepers are needed; examples include Unaware and Prankster Pokemon such as Primal Kyogre, Zygarde-C, and Giratina. -ate Pokemon like Mega Diancie can also revenge kill opponent opposing setup sweepers. For example, Mega Audino is a solid switch-in to defensive variants of Mega Tyranitar, but Shell Smash variants can KO Mega Audino with a boosted Sunsteel Strike. Poison Fang is another move that Imposter users can scout for to prevent Mega Audino from being badly poisoned. Imposter Chansey can also switch into the dangerous attackers that Mega Audino struggles to deal with. In return, Mega Audino can bring Chansey in with a slow pivoting move in order to safely scout opposing Pokemon without fearing fear of trapping moves. Mega Audino fails to threaten Sturdy Shedinja at all, which allows Shedinja to come in on it easily. As a result, Ghost-type Pokemon such as Giratina and Aegislash that can check Shedinja are needed.

Shore Up keeps Mega Audino healthy, and is preferred over other recovery moves since it can get a recovery boost because Mega Audino is a solid switch-in to the most common Sand Stream user, Mega Tyranitar. Spiky Shield allows Mega Audino to safely activate its Toxic Orb, as well as scout moves from Pokemon with Choice items, (AC) and burn Z-Moves, (AC) and safely gain another round of Poison Heal recovery. While it Spiky Shield cannot recover health as quickly as Shore Up, it denies Imposter users from getting any recovery at all. Spiky Shield also prevents Sturdy Shedinja from being able to KO Mega Audino. Spiky Shield It is chosen over Baneful Bunker in order to prevent opposing Imposter users to get from getting poisoned, while King's Shield doesn't allow for a safe Toxic Orb activation due to its inability to prevent status moves such as Will-O-Wisp and Trick. U-turn allows Mega Audino to pivot, and thanks to its low base 50 speed Speed it is able to underspeed most opposing Pokemon and bring in a teammate safely. U-turn has good synergy with Spiky Shield, (AC) to as it allows Mega Audino to pivot while being Imposter-proof (AH). Spectral Thief deters setup and allows Mega Audino to check Poison Heal Xerneas. Knock Off can remove helpful defensive Pokemons' items like Leftovers, Rocky Helmet, Eviolite, and Safety Goggles, annoy offensive Pokemon, and scout for Z-Crystals. Core Enforcer is an option to suppress the opposing Pokemon’s ability, which works well thanks to Mega Audino’s low Speed, and it won't affect Mega Audino's Poison Heal when used by its Imposter thanks to its Fairy typing. However, it is unable to threaten Poison Heal Xerneas. Defog is a good choice for teams that lack entry hazard removal, as Poison Heal can mitigate some chip damage and Mega Audino has a good matchup against many hazard setters like Giratina and Poison Heal Mega Mewtwo X. Stealth Rock is a solid option on Mega Audino thanks to its good matchup against most defensive Magic Bouncer users such as Giratina. Will-O-Wisp allows Mega Audino to cripple otherwise dangerous physical attackers such as Mega Mewtwo X and Kartana while chipping at defensive Pokemon like Registeel and Primal Kyogre. In addition, Mega Audino can burn its Imposter, helping out physical wallbreakers on its team. Purify is an option to be used with Knock Off in order to check Poison Heal Pokemon by removing their Toxic Orb and curing their poison status. However, this does come at the cost of an a utility move and requiring requires another Pokemon to Imposter-proof Mega Audino.

Set Details

A negative Speed nature and minimum 0 Speed IVs allow Mega Audino to underspeed most defensive Pokemon in order to provide a slow pivot and gain momentum. A Relaxed nature lets Mega Audino always avoid the 2HKO from unboosted Poison Heal Regigigas's Facade while taking and take Anchor Shots from defensive Pokemon like Registeel better. On the other hand, a Sassy nature lets Mega Audino take special moves like Primal Kyogre's Revelation Dance and Poison Heal Xerneas's Moonblast better. It also allows Mega Audino to stay in on -ate users better if required. A Toxic Orb in conjunction with Poison Heal gives Mega Audino a status protection immunity, sizable passive healing, and the ability to absorb Knock Off after Toxic Orb has been activated.

Usage Tips
========

Mega Audino can safely switch in against most defensive Pokemon such as Giratina, Zygarde-C, and Registeel thanks to its typing providing immunities and resistances against to common utility moves and Poison Heal providing it with a status immunity and passive healing against chip damage. It can also safely switch into some offensive Pokemon such as Poison Heal Mega Mewtwo X, Xerneas, and Primal Kyogre. Due to its low Speed and ability to completely wall Pokemon such as Giratina, Yveltal, and the aforementioned offensive Poison Heal users, Mega Audino is an excellent pivot, and U-turn is generally a safe move to click in order to gain momentum. If the opposing Pokemon stays in, Mega Audino can easily switch back in after it has pivoted and recover off chip damage with Poison Heal. After Toxic Orb activation, Mega Audino is also a fantastic Knock Off absorber. If Mega Audino is carrying Stealth Rock, it can force in the opposing Magic Bounce Pokemon on it, which can be easily exploited by teammates that can pressure it the Magic Bounce user effectively. It also allows Mega Audino to force out opposing Pokemon that it usually cannot threaten (if the opponent does not want Stealth Rock to go up?). Don’t attempt to stay in against powerful attackers such as Mega Mewtwo Y and Mega Diancie, as Mega Audino doesn’t have the defensive typing nor exceptional bulk to take them on. If necessary, however, Mega Audino can avoid the OHKO from many attacks and pivot out to let in a teammate safely, as Poison Heal can allow it to recover the its health quickly later on. This is risky, and should only be done if the defensive answer cannot safely switch in or (repetition, if your check is weakened then you lack a safe switch-in) the team lacks a safe switch-in to the opposing Pokemon. In addition, against Pokemon that have can hit Mega Audino with ("super effective" needs context) super effective STAB attacks, such as Kartana and non-Normalize Mega Gengar, Mega Audino risks getting OHKOed. Furthermore, Mega Audino can will no longer be able to reliably answer many Pokemon such as Zygarde-C and Poison Heal users until it is healthy enough again. If Mega Audino is carrying Spiky Shield, leading with it and using Spiky Shield can guarantee a safe Toxic Orb activation. However, this could allow the opposing Pokemon to set up or activate its own Toxic Orb, so it should only be used done if there are no Pokemon on the opposing team that can effectively threaten your team. Later on in the game, Spiky Shield can also scout for attacks from unknown movesets or Choice-locked Pokemon such as Choice Specs Aerilate Mega Rayquaza. Mega Audino should also be played more aggressively with Spiky Shield and pivot frequently, since it lacks the immediate healing that Shore Up would provide. Knock Off is a fairly spammable move, since most defensive Pokemon cannot threaten Mega Audino effectively, and with since Mega Audino's its low Speed prevents most opposing Pokemon from slowly pivoting out, Mega Audino can threaten to remove the switch-in's (add apostrophe) item. Thanks to the its status immunity, it can switch into most RegenVest users, even if they carry Poison Fang, and threaten to remove their Assault Vest. If it carries Spiky Shield, it can even stay in on Sturdy Shedinja in order to remove its Protective Pads.

Other Flash Fire Steel-type Pokemon can also check -ate users and other wallbreakers Pokemon. An Unaware set with Shore Up, Spectral Thief, U-turn, and Core Enforcer is possible to check dangerous setup sweepers such as Triage Mega Rayquaza. However, it is much less useful than the other sets since Mega Garchomp is uncommon, and Sunsteel Strike threatens Mega Audino through while ignoring Fur Coat. In addition, Mega Garchomp is uncommon, which means Mega Audino would rather have another ability the majority of the time. Prankster is another possible set to that lets Mega Audino act as a setup check while retaining Mega Audino's its ability to gain momentum from Pokemon like Giratina. Most other Pokemon like Registeel and Giratina perform the job better, though, with due to their better typings; (SC) as Mega Audino is weak to Sunsteel Strike, which is a common move used on setup Pokemon. Mega Audino will also be very passive with U-turn as its only damaging move. Spikes can be used over Stealth Rock in order to pressure the opposing team more with entry hazards, but Mega Audino prefers would require (i think is what you meant?) reliable Rapid Spin support to avoid clearing entry hazards on the opponent's side. It can also be annoying when a trapped Imposter and lays them down. Purify is an option over Defog on the Magic Bounce set to defeat Poison Heal users in tandem with Knock Off. However, this comes at a cost of requiring another hazard remover and removing some Pokemon such as Poison Heal users as possible ways in order to Imposter-proof Mega Audino. Scald is an interesting option on the Poison Heal set as a way to burn opposing Pokemon that cannot be blocked by Magic Bounce, unlike Will-O-Wisp. However, outside of that, (AC) it is much more unreliable than Will-O-Wisp with its only 30% burn chance, which can be important in situations against physical attackers than that can 2HKO Mega Audino. A combination of Substitute + Baton Pass can be used on the Poison Heal set to aid offensive teammates in setting up or firing off strong attacks. However, Mega Audino will lose a lot of the utility provided by other moves, and Imposter Pokemon can take advantage of Substitute itself themselves if Shore Up is chosen over Spiky Shield.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Offensive Steel-types**: Mega Audino's is weak to Steel, and its (you don't need to explain this) passivity leaves it open to powerful Steel-types like Kartana, Necrozma-DM, and offensive Dialga, (AC) which can fire off strong attacks or setting up on it.

**Mega Gengar**: Mega Gengar threatens Mega Audino with its STAB Poison-type (AH) moves. It must be careful cautious of Knock Off, though, as all Mega Gengar sets hate losing their item, whether it is Spooky Plate, Choice Scarf, or Choice Specs. Normalize Mega Gengar is also checked by the Magic Bounce set.

**Strong Wallbreakers**: Mega Audino doesn't resist a lot of common offensive typings types and doesn't have exceptional bulk, so strong wallbreakers like Mega Mewtwo Y, Mega Mewtwo X, and Primal Groudon can break through it. Primal Groudon also doesn't fear any of Mega Audino's moves thanks to its high bulk, immunity to burns, and taking reduced damage from Knock Off.

**Imposter Users**: While Imposter users usually cannot hard switch into Mega Audino due to the threat of trapping, sets that do not self-Imposter-proof (AH) themselves are very vulnerable to Imposter users switching in to freely recover on and PP stall them.

**Poison Fang**: Poison Fang can threaten all Mega Audino sets except for Poison Heal with Toxic bad poison status, chipping it down throughout the course of the game. This is especially problematic on for the Magic Bounce set, (AC) as it commonly switches into defensive Pokemon such as Giratina and Zygarde-C ("that may carry it" or "which it will no longer be able to check if it is poisoned").

Unfortunately, Mega Audino’s typing leaves it weak to Steel- and Poison-(remove space)type moves, including common coverage moves such as Sunsteel Strike and Anchor Shot, which combined with its passivity allows dangerous attackers such as Kartana, Necrozma-DM, and Mega Gengar to switch in safely.

Moves
========

Shore Up keeps Mega Audino healthy, and can get a boost to its recovery boost because Mega Audino is a solid switch-in to the most common Sand Stream user, Mega Tyranitar. U-turn allows Mega Audino to pivot, and with its low base 50 Speed speed it is able to underspeed most Pokemon and bring in a teammate safely.

Set Details
========

Magic Bounce makes Mega Audino a reliable switch-in to both defensive Pokemon and offensive Pokemon that rely on status moves such as Poison Heal Mega Mewtwo X, Giratina, and Zygarde-C.

Usage Tips
========

Mega Audino also needs to be careful if the opposing Pokemon's team has a wallbreaker such as Choice Band Mega Mewtwo X or Kartana that can threaten Mega Audino it, as the opposing Pokemon can double switch out or pivot with U-turn. It also requires to be being healthy to check some offensive Pokemon such as Poison Heal Xerneas, and hazards can wear it down into KO range. While Mega Audino can prevent hazards from some Pokemon such as Giratina and Poison Heal Mega Mewtwo X, other setters like Primal Groudon and Mega Diancie can force Mega Audino out. Knock Off is very spammable, because in general, (remove comma) the opposing Pokemon will eventually want to pivot out, and thanks to Mega Audino's low Speed, (remove comma) they will most likely fail to pivot after the Knock Off, allowing you to remove the switch-in's item. This is especially effective on Pokemon like Primal Kyogre and Aegislash that will always outspeed Mega Audino. If combined with Lagging Tail, Mega Audino will always go after the opposing Pokemon, guaranteeing the removal of the switch-in's item.

Team Options
========

Steel type Pokemon such as Registeel, Celesteela, and Aegislash are good partners because they can take on many strong wallbreakers that can pressure Mega Audino such as Mega Mewtwo Y and -ate users such as Mega Diancie and Kyurem-W. They can also take on the Poison- and Steel-(remove space)type moves that threaten Mega Audino super effectively. Pokemon utilizing -ate abilities Pokemon like Mega Diancie can also revenge kill opponent setup sweepers. (Felt really strange to open a sentence with "-ate" so I thought the phrasing could be changed here.) Strong wallbreakers like Mega Mewtwo Y and Mega Gengar appreciate Mega Audino's slow pivoting and ability to sponge common utility moves like Spectral Thief, Knock Off, and U-turn from defensive Pokemon. Imposter users can scout for opposing movesets and determine if Mega Audino can safely switch in. For example, Mega Audino is a solid switch-in to defensive variants of Mega Tyranitar, but Shell Smash variants can KO it Mega Audino with a boosted Sunsteel Strike.

Moves
========

Shore Up keeps Mega Audino healthy, and can get an extra recovery boost because Mega Audino is a solid switch-in to the most common Sand Stream user, Mega Tyranitar. Spiky Shield allows Mega Audino to safely activate its Toxic Orb, as well as scout moves from Pokemon with Choice items and Z-Moves and safely gain another round of Poison Heal recovery Recovery. U-turn allows Mega Audino to pivot, and thanks to its low base 50 Speed speed it is able to underspeed most opposing Pokemon and bring in a teammate safely. U-turn has synergy with Spiky Shield to allow Mega Audino to pivot while being Imposter-proof(add hyphen). Stealth Rock is a solid option on Mega Audino thanks to its good matchup against most defensive Magic Bounce Bouncer users such as Giratina. However, this does come at the cost of an a utility move and requiring another Pokemon to Imposter-proof Mega Audino.

Set Details
========

A negative Speed nature and minimum Speed IVs allows Mega Audino to underspeed most defensive Pokemon to provide a slow pivot and gain momentum. It Sassy also allows Mega Audino to stay in on -ate users better if required.

Usage Tips
========

Knock Off is a fairly spammable move, since most defensive Pokemon cannot threaten Mega Audino effectively, and with Mega Audino's low Speed preventing most opposing Pokemon from slowly pivoting out, Mega Audino can threaten to remove the switch-in's (add apostrophe) item. Thanks to the status immunity, it can switch into most RegenVest users, even if they carry Poison Fang, and threaten to remove their Assault Vest. If it carries Spiky Shield, it can even stay in on Sturdy Shedinja to remove its Protective Pads.

Team Options
========

In return, Mega Audino provides a status absorber status absorption and a slow pivot to gain momentum. In return, Mega Audino can bring Chansey in with U-turn to safely scout opposing Pokemon without fearing trapping moves as well as providing a status absorber status absorption and a switch-in against Imposter-proof Poison Heal Pokemon like Xerneas and Mega Mewtwo X.

=============

Prankster is another possible set ability to act as a setup check while retaining Mega Audino's ability to gain momentum from Pokemon like Giratina. Most other Pokemon like Registeel and Giratina perform the job better, (remove comma) though, with their better typing, as Mega Audino is weak to Sunsteel Strike, a common move used on setup Pokemon. Mega Audino will also be very passive with U-turn as its only damaging move. Spikes can be used over Stealth Rock to pressure the opposing team more with entry hazards, but Mega Audino prefers reliable Rapid Spin support to avoid clearing entry hazards on the opponent's side. It can also be annoying when a trapped Imposter and lays them down. Purify is an option over Defog on the Magic Bounce set to defeat Poison Heal users in tandem with Knock Off.

===================

**Offensive Steel-types**: Mega Audino is weak to Steel, and its passivity leaves it open to powerful Steel-types like Kartana, Necrozma-DM, and offensive Dialga firing off strong attacks or setting up.

**Mega Gengar**: Mega Gengar threatens Mega Audino with STAB Poison-type(add hyphen) moves. It must be careful of Knock Off, (remove comma) though, as all Mega Gengar sets hate losing their item, whether it is Spooky Plate, Choice Scarf, or Choice Specs.

**Imposter Users**: While Imposter users usually cannot hard switch into Mega Audino due to the threat of trapping, sets that do not self-Imposter-proof(add hyphen) are very vulnerable to Imposter users switching in to freely recover and PP stall.
