Mega Crucibelle

by Yilx

Crucibelle @ Crucibellite
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Head Smash
- Gunk Shot
- U-turn
- Stealth Rock / Low Kick

Mega Crucibelle is the premier offensive pivot in the CAP metagame. Once Mega-Evolved, Mega Crucibelle gets Magic Guard, negating the recoil of Head Smash and making it extremely spammable late-game. Mega Crucibelle can take advantage of common Pokemon in the tier like Jumbao, Tornadus-T, and Clefable, giving it ample opportunities to come in and pivot around or break down Pokemon. Mega Crucibelle is also a great Stealth Rock setter thanks to its ability to pressure many common Defoggers. Krilowatt is Mega Crucibelle's most common partner, as they form a great VoltTurn core together: they both are very fast, they both have Magic Guard, which means they aren't bothered by entry hazards, and they both can weaken each other's checks. Mega Crucibelle also massively benefits from Spikes because they can consistently wear down its common switch-ins, so Pokemon such as Syclant and Ferrothorn are good teammates to set Spikes.

On phone but here's your check.

Crucibelle has a great ability, Regenerator, which allows it to consistently stay healthy while pivoting around and switching into hazards.
This statement only applies to Base Cruci, make that clear.

Thanks to Mega Crucibelle's high Base-Power STAB moves in Head Smash and Gunk Shot it's extremely hard to switch into for defensive and offensive Pokemon alike
I don't think the Head Smash mention is necessary, simply because we just got a whole sentence on how good and spammable it is. The first part of this also kinda feels like the Head Smash sentence doesn't exist, so possibly making it flow together better would also be better.

Krilowatt is Mega Crucibelle's most common partner, they form a great VoltTurn core together, as they are both are very fast, allowing them to easily keep momentum up. Mega
I can name multiple pivots faster than Krillowatt, so speed isn't the sole factor. Both have Magic Guard, so they can consistently pivot in & out safely.

Otherwise looks good, QC 1/1
