Nat Dex Mega Garchomp

Garchomp-Mega @ Garchompite
Ability: Rough Skin
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Scale Shot
- Earthquake
- Fire Fang / Stone Edge
- Swords Dance

Mega Garchomp has recently become a fearsome wallbreaker in the metagame, with its moves ripping through physical walls such as Corviknight and Slowbro. Scale Shot even grants it a Speed boost, allowing it to potentially clean weakened teams that are unable to revenge kill it due to its excellent bulk. Fire Fang reliably breaks through Corviknight and Skarmory, but Stone Edge is an option to more reliably hit weakened Landorus-T as opposed to using Scale Shot, whose defense drop can lessen Garchomp's chances of a sweep. Some pairings that work well with Mega Garchomp include Choice Scarf Jirachi, providing Healing Wish support to wallbreak a second time or even potentially sweep. Tapu Fini can give Mega Garchomp completely free entry into Toxapex with Misty Terrain and provide a buffer to prevent priority users like Ash-Greninja or Weavile from cleaning up your team. Serperior also pairs well with Mega Garchomp, as Glare support can assist Mega Garchomp's rather awkward Speed tier and gives it an easier time setting up against Heatran.

Mega Garchomp has recently risen to be a fearsome breaker in the metagame, with its boosted Earthquakes and Fire Fangs i don't think specifying moves here is really necessary, just say "with its moves ripping through physical walls at +2" ripping through ripping through popular pivots physical walls in Corviknight and Slowbro. Scale Shot even grants it a speed boost, allowing it to potentially clean weakened teams that are unable to revenge kill it due to its excellent bulk. Fire Fang provides you it with a reliable way to break through Corviknight and Skarmory, but Stone Edge is also an option to have a more reliable hit versus weakened Landorus-T as opposed to using Scale Shot, which in certain situations can lessen your chances of a sweep. Some pairings that work well with Mega Garchomp are Choice Scarf Jirachi, providing Healing Wish to potentially get another chance at a sweep this makes it sound like Mega Garchomp is a setup sweeper, when it is a wallbreaker that can sometimes sweep depending on the situation, reword this. , or Tapu Fini, who gives Mega Garchomp completely free entry into Toxapex with Misty Terrain and provides a buffer to prevent the popular Ash-Greninja from revenging you. i think it's worth adding how Tapu Fini can check Weavile, which is one of the few revenge killers for Mega Garchomp

if you have space, mention Serperior here, Glare is such a huge boon for Mega Garchomp since that helps with its very awkward Speed tier and Mega Garchomp can force out / beat Heatran and Zapdos pretty reliably.
lmk if this is over the character limit, QC 1/1
