[OVERVIEW]

Psychic
========

Mega Gardevoir fills a supportive role as a Wish passer thanks to its part-Fairy typing, solid special bulk, and Will-O-Wisp. Because of its outstanding Special Attack, serviceable Speed tier, and Pixilate-boosted Hyper Voice, Mega Gardevoir also has a remarkable offensive presence that shines against Dark and Dragon teams. Mega Gardevoir's part-Fairy typing makes it immune to Dragon and neutral to Dark and Bug, allowing it to better take on Dragonite, Mega Sharpedo, and Heracross. However, it has low HP for a Wish user, and even with investment, Mega Gardevoir is still unable to deal with faster physical wallbreakers. It also competes with Mega Latias and Mega Gallade for a slot. Mega Latias can switch into special wallbreakers like Landorus, Mega Charizard Y, and Keldeo, while Mega Gallade poses a major threat to Normal, Steel, and Psychic teams with its STAB Fighting-type coverage and Knock Off + Shadow Sneak.

[SET COMMENTS]
With Wish + Protect, Mega Gardevoir can scout foes, remain healthy while attacking, and provide support to its teammates. Mega Gardevoir's Pixilate-boosted Hyper Voice poses a massive threat to Dark and Dragon teams and deals notable damage to special walls such as Zapdos and Gastrodon. Will-O-Wisp cripples physical attackers like Mamoswine and wears down opposing walls such as Empoleon. Trace lets Gardevoir copy Gyarados's Intimidate and Tornadus-T's Regenerator prior to Mega Evolving. 16 Speed EVs with a Timid nature allow Mega Gardevoir to outpace base 70 Speed foes like Bisharp and Breloom.

All of Mega Gardevoir's teammates, Jirachi and Victini in particular, appreciate it providing Wish support and taking care of troublesome Dark-types like Weavile and Mega Sharpedo. Jirachi is a specially defensive pivot that can set Stealth Rock and cripple foes with Toxic or Thunder Wave. Choice Scarf Victini is a phenomenal revenge killer that provides pivot support and checks Steel-types outside of Heatran. Choice Band variants are particularly useful for overwhelming special walls like Chansey and Zapdos. Thanks to its part-Dragon typing and high Special Attack and Speed, Choice Specs Latios can check most slower attackers, Mega Venusaur, and Fire-types like Mega Charizard Y and Victini. Choice Scarf Latias is a Ground-immune Defogger that can also provide Healing Wish support. Colbur Berry users like Slowbro and Celebi act as secondary countermeasures to Mega Sharpedo and Mega Gyarados. Slowbro can also tank physical attacks and take care of Fire-types like Darmanitan, Choice Scarf Victini, and Heatran. Celebi can alternatively run a Nasty Plot set to demolish Water and Ground teams with its combination of Giga Drain and Earth Power. With its BoltBeam coverage and unrivaled Speed tier, Deoxys-S can threaten Flying-types with high Special Defense like Zapdos, Gliscor, and Mega Charizard Y. Calm Mind Reuniclus and stallbreaker Mew are options to help ease matchups against Steel and Normal teams and wear down bulky foes like Gastrodon.

Other Options

Psychic
--------
Mega Gardevoir may opt to run 16 Speed EVs with a Bold nature to better deal with Heracross, Mega Gyarados, and Mega Sharpedo while still outpacing neutral base 70 Speed foes. Alternatively, it can use 112 Speed EVs with a Timid nature to outspeed Gallade, Mega Gyarados, and Adamant Sharpedo.

Checks and Counters
===================

Psychic
--------
**Chansey**: Chansey can freely switch into Mega Gardevoir and wear it down with Toxic and Seismic Toss.

**Mega Venusaur**: Mega Venusaur counters Mega Gardevoir with its high Special Defense, reliable recovery, and STAB Sludge Bomb.

**Fire-types**: Fire-types with good special bulk like Heatran, Mega Charizard Y, Volcarona, and Victini can come in on Mega Gardevoir and force it out.

**Special Walls**: Special walls such as Zapdos, Empoleon, and Bronzong can tank attacks from Mega Gardevoir and threaten it with Toxic.

**Revenge Killers**: Scizor and faster threats like Gengar, Choice Specs Keldeo in rain, and Choice Scarf Magnezone can revenge kill Mega Gardevoir after prior chip damage.

**Physical Wallbreakers**: Faster physical wallbreakers like Sand Rush Excadrill, Mega Heracross, and Mega Pinsir can overwhelm Mega Gardevoir's lackluster Defense.

**Paralysis**: Paralysis hinders Mega Gardevoir's ability to function and prevents it from dealing with slower threats such as Bisharp.

**Residual Damage**: Toxic poison, burn, and all forms of entry hazards wear down Mega Gardevoir and force it to waste turns using Wish and Protect.

Overview:
- Think you wanna better emphasize on the fact that Mega Gardevoir has all the tools it needs to flip the Dark matchup on its head
- Even with investment, Mega Gardevoir’s physical bulk is still poor and can easily be taken advantage of by wallbreakers

Set comments:

“Calm Mind Reuniclus and stallbreaker Mew are options to help ease matchups against Steel and Normal teams and bulky Pokemon

C&C:

- Would add a physical wallbreaker section w mons like Excadrill and Diggersby

- Add to the residual damage section that it forces Mega Gardevoir to waste turns using Wish and Protect

Nice work, QC 1/2
