Mega Lopunny’s high Speed and Attack, unresisted STAB combination with Scrappy, and STAB priority in Fake Out make it simultaneously one of the best revenge killers and anti-offense choices in the metagame. Fake Out can force respectable chip damage onto faster threats and priority users, like Rillaboom and Choice Scarf Landorus-T, and even slower attackers that it brings to KO range like Mega Medicham. U-turn takes advantage of how easily Mega Lopunny can force switches by keeping up momentum on the likes of Slowbro, Clefable, Toxapex, and Slowking. Ice Punch can be run over U-turn to handle Gliscor and Landorus-T more effectively, but Mega Lopunny loses out on a lot of offensive utility. Limber can prevent paralysis before Mega Evolving.

Mega Lopunny fits best on bulky offense teams that appreciate the Speed and ability to pivot on forced switches that it provides. As such, wallbreakers such as Choice Specs Kyurem, Ash-Greninja, and Choice Band Victini make excellent partners, and Mega Lopunny can clean up holes in cores they make. Similarly, setup sweepers such as Reuniclus and Nasty Plot Hydreigon also appreciate being pivoted into passive Pokemon such as Slowbro. Mega Lopunny’s defensive stats are quite subpar, so walls like Clefable and specially defensive Heatran are good partners. Pivots such as U-turn Greninja variants, Rotom-W, and Choice Band Rillaboom make great options as well to get Mega Lopunny in safely. Slowking and Slowbro deserve special mention, as they can fulfill the aforementioned defensive role while using Future Sight + Teleport to let Mega Lopunny break through almost all common counterplay options, such as Toxapex, Zapdos, and Tangrowth. Magnezone can trap and remove common switch-ins to Mega Lopunny, like Mega Scizor and Corviknight, and pressure others like Clefable and Toxapex. Entry hazards from the likes of Ferrothorn, Greninja, and Garchomp are fantastic with Mega Lopunny in order to maximize the pressure it places on defensive cores and chip down foes into Fake Out range faster. Clefable especially makes an excellent partner, as it can fulfill hazard-setting duties and also support Mega Lopunny defensively,

Other Options
=============

Mega Lopunny’s expansive movepool leaves a lot of room for theoretical utility either offensively or support oriented. Toxic and Thunder Wave can be run over U-turn in order to harass defensive answers, but they aren’t worth dropping the ability to reliably pivot on most teams. Quick Attack and Facade can be offensively useful, but only situationally. Healing Wish is an option but faces competition from Choice Scarf Jirachi, which boasts a better defensive typing, as well as the ability to effectively cripple walls before sacrificing itself.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Physically Defensive Walls**: The likes of Toxapex, Bold Clefable, and defensive Zapdos can easily take all of Mega Lopunny’s attacks. However, all of these must be at or near full health, cannot switch in whatsoever if Future Sight also hits that turn - and bar Static Zapdos - are susceptible to a loss of momentum from U-turn. Slowbro can afford chip damage, but its Psychic typing exacerbates the effectiveness of Mega Lopunny’s U-turn. This can lead to scenarios where the combination of Return and U-turn either forces Slowbro to waste turns using Slack Off or risk being excessively whittled down over the course of the match.

**Faster Attackers**: Faster attackers such as Choice Scarf Landorus-T, Excadrill in sand, and Mega Swampert in rain can take advantage of Mega Lopunny’s defensive woes and either KO it outright or take advantage of the forced switch into a passive wall. However, none of these can switch (added space) in reliably, and they are additionally susceptible to being chipped down by Fake Out with the exception of Excadrill.

**Priority Moves**: Attackers with priority moves, such as Ash-Greninja, Weavile, Mega Medicham, and Rillaboom, can easily revenge kill Mega Lopunny due to its awful defensive attributes. However, they cannot come in directly, struggle with Fake Out, and - with the exception of Rillaboom - require significant chip damage to actually KO Mega Lopunny.

Mega Lopunny’s high Speed and Attack, plus Lopunny’s unresisted STAB combination in conjunction with STAB priority in Fake Out allow it to function as one of the best revenge killers in the metagame. Fake Out can force a respectable amount of chip onto offensive threats like Dragapult, Choice Scarf Landorus-T, and even slower attackers who need the extra chip damage to fall to a STAB attack like Cinderace. U-turn is a great pivoting option that takes advantage of how easily Mega Lopunny can force switches by keeping up momentum. Mega Lopunny also has a variety of options that can be ran over Fake Out or U-Turn, such as Ice Punch to handle Gliscor and Landorus-T and Quick Attack to handle Ash Greninja and Dragapult more reliably, but these options are often situational and team-dependent, making them not as reliable. Limber is the best pre-Mega Evolution ability, preventing it from being hit from an untimely paralysis, which notably helps against Static Zapdos.

Mega Lopunny fits best on bulky offense teams that appreciate the speed control and Mega Lopunny’s ability to pivot on forced switches. As such, wallbreakers such as Choice Specs Kyurem -Metronome Kyurem's a good partner as well- Cinderace, Heatran, Kartana, Choice Specs or Calm Mind + Pain Split Magearna, and Choice Band Victini make excellent partners, as Mega Lopunny can safely pivot them in on slower walls, while also being able to clean up holes in cores made by those wallbreakers -mentioning wallbreakers is perhaps the most important thing to do in this analysis, so it's much better to point out multiple examples instead of just a few- . Similarly, setup sweepers such as Reuniclus and Nasty Plot Hydreigon also appreciate Mega Lopunny’s ability to pivot them in for an opportunity to start boosting their stats on passive walls Mega Lopunny forces in such as Slowbro, Toxapex, Zapdos, Hippowdon, and Tangrowth. -Future Sight support should absolutely be mentioned here; the extra pressure against Toxapex, Tangrowth, Hippowdon, Zapdos, and Clefable is invaluable support- Mega Lopunny’s defensive stats are quite subpar, making it prone to faster attackers, priority users, and Choice Scarf users such as Dragapult, Ash-Greninja, Mega Scizor, and Kartana. so d Defensive walls like Clefable, Toxapex, Corviknight, and Zapdos are good partners to make up for this. Magnezone can be a good teammate as well, as it can trap and remove common switchins to Lopunny, like Mega Scizor and Corviknight -Skarmory as well- in addition to being able to pressure other Mega Lopunny switchins like Clefable and Toxapex. Lastly, entry hazard setting from the likes of Ferrothorn, Ash-Greninja, and Garchomp is a necessity with Mega Lopunny in order to maximize the pressure Mega Lopunny can place on defensive cores, as well as chipping down faster foes into Fake Out range faster. Clefable and Hippowdon especially make excellent partners, as they can fulfill hazard setting duties with the addition of supporting Mega Lopunny defensively, as mentioned above.

Mega Lopunny’s high Speed and Attack, an unresisted STAB combination a bit of a nitpick but you should say due to its ability because normal / fighting isn't unresisted on its own (ghosts are complete immune w/o scrappy) , and STAB priority in Fake Out allow it to function as one of the best revenge killers and speed control choices in the metagame. Fake Out can force a respectable amount of chip onto offensive threats like Rillaboom, Choice Scarf Landorus-T, and even slower attackers who need the extra chip damage to fall to a STAB attack like Cinderace. U-turn is a great pivoting option that takes advantage of how easily Lopunny can force switches by keeping up momentum. give some examples on who gets taken advantage of by it, slowbro and clefable come to mind Ice Punch can be ran over Fake Out mega lopunny can't afford to drop fake out a LOT of the time i feel as its far too important to its role or U-Turn to handle Gliscor and Landorus-T more effectively, but Lopunny loses out on a lot of offensive utility by doing so. Limber is the best pre-Mega Evolution ability, preventing it from being hit from an untimely paralysis.

Lopunny’s expansive movepool leaves a lot of room for theoretical utility either offensively or support oriented. For the former category, Quick Attack, Facade, and Retaliate can all respectively situationally be useful, but are not actually useful in the vast majority of situations. For the latter descriptor, the likes of Copycat, Heal Bell, and Encore can be used to aid Mega Lopunny’s team in specific scenarios, but aren’t consistent in their utility either. Toxic and Thunder Wave can be ran over Fake Out U-turn dropping fake out is very detrimental over uturn when toxic cripples the Pokemon that lopunny pivots on, like slowbro and zapdos, dropping fake out just makes its amazing offense mu much harder in order to harass defensive threats, and are better than any of the previously stated options, but aren’t worth dropping the reliable STAB priority on most teams.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Physically Defensive Walls**: The likes of Toxapex, Bold Clefable, and Defensive Zapdos can all easily masticate all of Lopunny’s attacks due to their solid defensive stats. However, all of these must be at or near full, cannot switchin whatsoever if Future Sight also hits on the same turn, and are susceptible to a loss of momentum from U-Turn bar the latter’s choice to use Static as its ability. Slowbro avoids the former problem, but its Psychic typing further exacerbates the effectiveness of Mega Lopunny’s U-Turn. This can lead to scenarios where the combination of Return and U-Turn either force the opponent to waste turns using Slack Off, or risk being whittled down over the course of the match.

**Faster Attackers**: Faster attackers such as that of Choice Scarf Landorus-T, Rillaboom using Grassy Glide, and Mega Swampert in the rain can take advantage of Mega Lopunny’s defensive woes and either KO it outright or take advantage of the forced switch into a passive wall. However, none of these can switchin reliably, and are additionally susceptible to being chipped down by Fake Out themselves.

i think you could make priority moves their own catagory. grassy glide from rillaboom, ice shard from weavile, opposing fake out from mega medicham etc are stuff that mega lopunny is susceptible after it uses fake out when it comes in

Mega Lopunny’s high Speed and Attack, unresisted STAB combination with Scrappy, and STAB priority in Fake Out allow it to function as one of the best revenge killers and speed control choices in the metagame. I would also add that these traits give Mega Lopunny one of the best offense matchups in the metagame. Fake Out can force a respectable amount of chip onto offensive threats like Rillaboom, Choice Scarf Landorus-T, and even slower attackers who need the extra chip damage to fall to a STAB attack like Mega Medicham. Mention specific VoltTurn mons here; not only does it let Lopunny enter the field safely, it also makes remarkable VoltTurn cores here. By extension, I would move the Slowbro/Slowking section at the bottom of the paragraph up to here. Magnezone can be a good teammate as well, as it can trap and remove common switchins to Lopunny, like Mega Scizor and Corviknight in addition to being able to pressure other Lopunny switchins like Clefable and Toxapex. A little verbose for my taste, and there are a few grammar issues with regards to commas, but for the most part, this gets the QC 2/2 stamp!

Similarly, setup sweepers such as Reuniclus and Nasty Plot Hydreigon also appreciate Lopunny’s ability to pivot them in passive setup fodder appreciate being pivoted into passive Pokemon such as Slowbro. Mega Lopunny’s defensive stats are quite subpar, so defensive walls like Clefable and specially defensive Heatran are good partners to take hits Lopunny cannot. Pivots such as U-turn Greninja variants, Rotom-Wash, and Choice Band Rillaboom make great options as well to get Mega Lopunny in safely. Slowking and Slowbro also deserve special mention, as they can fulfill the aforementioned defensive role while also being able to use the combination of Future Sight and Teleport to allow Mega Lopunny to using Future Sight + Teleport to let Mega Lopunny break through almost all commonly used counterplay options, such as Toxapex, Zapdos, or and Tangrowth. Magnezone can be a good teammate as well, as it can trap and remove common switchins to Lopunny, switch-ins to Mega Lopunny, like Mega Scizor and Corviknight, (AC) in addition to being able to pressure other Lopunny switchins and pressure others like Clefable and Toxapex. Hazard setting Entry hazards from the likes of Ferrothorn, Greninja, and Garchomp is are fantastic with Mega Lopunny in order to maximize the pressure Lopunny can place it places on defensive cores and to chip down foes into Fake Out range faster. Clefable especially makes an excellent partner, as it can fulfill hazard setting duties with the addition of supporting hazard-setting duties and also support Mega Lopunny defensively,

Mega Lopunny’s expansive movepool leaves a lot of room for theoretical utility either offensively or support oriented. Toxic and Thunder Wave can be ran run over U-turn in order to harass defensive threats, answers, but they aren’t worth dropping the ability to reliably pivot on most teams. Quick Attack and Facade can be both respectively be expected offensively useful situationally, but are not actually useful in the vast majority of situations. offensively useful, but only situationally. Healing Wish can be used to heal a teammate back to full in a pinch, but it is an option but faces competition in this role from Choice Scarf Jirachi, who which boasts a better overall defensive typing, (AC) as well as the ability to effectively cripple walls before sacrificing itself.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Physically Defensive Walls**: The likes of Toxapex, Bold Clefable, and defensive Zapdos can all easily chew take all of Mega Lopunny’s attacks due to their solid defensive stats. However, all of these must be at or near full health, cannot switch (added space) in whatsoever if Future Sight also hits on the same turn, that turn, and—bar Static Zapdos—are susceptible to a loss of momentum from U-turn bar the latter’s choice to use Static as its ability. Slowbro avoids the former problem, can afford chip damage, (I imagine?) but its Psychic typing further exacerbates the effectiveness of Mega Lopunny’s U-turn. This can lead to scenarios where the combination of Return and U-turn either force the opponent forces Slowbro to waste turns using Slack Off (RC) or risk being excessively whittled down over the course of the match.

**Faster Attackers**: Faster attackers such as Choice Scarf Landorus-T, Excadrill in sand, and Mega Swampert in rain can take advantage of Mega Lopunny’s defensive woes and either KO it outright or take advantage of the forced switch into a passive wall. However, none of these can switch (added space) in reliably, and they are additionally susceptible to being chipped down by Fake Out themselves with the exception of Excadrill.

**Priority Moves**: Attackers with priority moves, such as Ash-Greninja, (added hyphen) Weavile, Mega Medicham, and Rillaboom, (AC) can easily revenge kill Mega Lopunny due to its awful defensive attributes. However, they cannot come in directly, struggle with Fake Out, (AC) and—with the exception of Rillaboom—require (replaced comma) significant chip damage to actually KO Mega Lopunny.
