* Thanks to its great physical bulk, utility, and excellent typing, Alomomola fills valuable niches on bulkier balance teams. Alomomola is useful as a defensive pivot that can shrug off damage thanks to Regenerator, as a status spreader, and as a Wish passer that increases the longevity of its teammates.
* Toxic allows Alomomola to cripple the longevity of Ho-Oh, Primal Groudon, and support Arceus formes lacking Refresh. Toxic is especially useful against Primal Groudon and Zygarde, as it keeps Alomomola from being easily set up on while forcing Zygarde to waste Rest PP.
* Wish allows Alomomola to increase its longevity as well as the longevity of its teammates by providing recovery for allies such as Primal Groudon, Primal Kyogre, Giratina-O, and Specially Offensive Yveltal that have no reliable recovery options. A slow Flip Turn allows Alomomola to safely pass a Wish to the aforementioned Pokemon. Increased longevity allows these teammates to check Zacian-C, Primal Groudon, Arceus, and Marshadow with more efficiency during the game.
* Protect allows Alomomola to more easily receive a Wish from itself, scout Choice item sets from Marshadow, Yveltal, and Eternatus, and maximize Toxic damage on the foe.
* Heavy-Duty Boots allows Alomomola to freely pivot without worrying about entry hazards.
* The first EV spread maximizes Alomomola's mixed bulk, allowing it to shrug off hits from support Arceus formes and Eternatus. The second EV spread maximizes Alomomola's physical bulk, allowing it to survive a +3 Wild Charge from Zacian-C and two uses of Glacial Lance from Choice Band Calyrex-I. Having 0 Speed IVs allows Alomomola to perform a slow Flip Turn against Chansey and Calyrex-I.
* Tera Dark allows Alomomola to absorb powerful Psychic-type attacks such as Light that Burns the Sky from Ultra Necrozma and Psycho Boost from Deoxys-A. Tera Dark also makes Alomomola one of the few walls capable of handling Deoxys-A thanks to Alomomola's low weight lessening the power of Low Kick. After switching in, Alomomola can immediately threaten to OHKO Deoxys-A with Flip Turn after Stealth Rock and a turn of Life Orb damage.
* Tera Poison prevents Alomomola from becoming poisoned, allowing it to serve as a switch-in to Toxic Ho-Oh and utility Arceus formes. Tera Poison also allows Alomomola to absorb Toxic Spikes from Eternatus to keep teammates such as Primal Groudon, Primal Kyogre, and support Arceus formes status-free, although switching into Primal Groudon and Arceus-Ground becomes harder.
* Alomomola is able to swap into any unboosted physical attack besides Bolt Strike from Zekrom throughout the game consistently, since it can use Regenerator to heal itself back up. It can swap in on Mega Salamence or Arceus-Ground and pivot with Flip Turn to safely bring in an answer such as Arceus-Fairy or Arceus-Dark.
* Thanks to Alomomola's Wish support, teammates without reliable recovery such as Primal Groudon and Giratina-O can switch into Primal Kyogre and Arceus more aggressively throughout the game without worrying about slowly being chipped down.
* Wallbreaker Primal Kyogre makes it near impossible for Alomomola to safely pass a Wish, so teammates such as Ferrothorn and Primal Groudon are helpful.
* Alomomola will often get overwhelmed by physical attackers such as Zacian-C, Mega Salamence, and Arceus, so teammates such as Primal Groudon and Arceus-Dark help ease Alomomola's workload.
* Alomomola provides excellent slow pivoting, so Pokemon that capitalize on a free switch such as Deoxys-A, Choice Band Marshadow, Choice Band Chien-Pao, and Meteor Beam Eternatus make excellent teammates.

  • Thanks to its great physical bulk, excellent utility, and excellent typing, Alomomola fills valuable niches on balance and stall teams. Alomomola is useful as a Flip Turn defensive pivot that can shrug off damage thanks to Regenerator, as a status spreader, and as a Wish passer that increases the longevity of its teammates.
  • Toxic allows Alomomola to cripple the longevity of Ho-Oh, Primal Groudon, and support Arceus formes lacking Refresh. Toxic is especially useful against Primal Groudon, as it keeps Alomomola from being easily set up on.
  • Wish allows Alomomola to increase its longevity as well as the longevity of its teammates by providing recovery for allies such as Primal Groudon, Primal Kyogre, Giratina-O, and Ferrothorn that have less effective or no reliable recovery options. This allows these teammates to check Zacian-C, Primal Groudon, Arceus, and Primal Kyogre with more efficiency during the game. Wish in conjunction with a slow Flip Turn allows Alomomola to safely pass a Wish.
  • Scald allows Alomomola to potentially cripple Zacian-C, Arceus, Arceus-Ground add hyphen, fix other instances of this, and Calyrex-I with a burn. Protect can be used instead to allow Alomomola to more easily receive a Wish from itself, scout choice item sets from Marshadow and Eternatus, and maximize Toxic damage on the opponent.
  • Heavy-Duty Boots allows Alomomola to freely pivot without worrying about entry hazards. Rocky Helmet can be used to punish contact attacks from foes such as Zacian-C, Marshadow, Arceus, Rayquaza and Mega Salamence.
  • Tera Dark allows Alomomola to absorb powerful Psychic attacks such as Light that Burns the Sky and Psycho Boost. should specify the users of the previous Psychic-type moves to minimize vagueness Tera Dark also makes Alomomola one of the few walls capable of handling the dangerous stall breaker in mixed attacker Deoxys-A that's the name of the set, to avoid confusion with other sets that run both physical and special moves thanks to its low weight. Specify that this matters for Low Kick After a burn to Deoxys-A, Alomomola can effectively wall it. Flip Turn OHKOes after minimal chip, if anything rephrase this on being able to comfortably come into it then pivot while also applying offensive pressure to it, I'd also note that Alomomola is an inconsistent check for mixed attacker Deoxys-A sets with Ice Beam (it's a slashed option) after Terastallizing, so just add somewhere something like "bar variants with Ice Beam".
  • Tera Poison provides a useful immunity to poison, allowing Alomomola to serve as a switch-in to Toxic Ho-Oh, Arceus Fairy, and Arceus Water. Tera Poison also allows Alomomola to absorb Toxic Spikes from Glimmora or Eternatus to keep teammates such as Primal Groudon, Primal Kyogre, and support Arceus formes status free, although switching into Primal Groudon and Arceus Ground becomes harder.
  • Alomomola should be able to swap into unboosted physical attacks throughout the game consistently since it can use Regenerator to heal itself back up. It can swap in to absorb an attack from Mega Salamence or Arceus Ground and Flip Turn to bring in an answer such as Primal Arceus Fairy or Arceus Dark in safety, healing itself and preventing its teammate from taking any unnecessary damage.
  • Thanks to Alomomola Wish support, teammates without reliable recovery such as Primal Groudon and Giratina-O can switch more aggressively into Primal Kyogre and Arceus throughout the game without worrying about slowly being chipped down.
  • Alomomola has trouble providing Wish support against Primal Groudon, so teammates that can deal with it such as Arceus Dark and Giratina-O with Toxic are appreciated. Primal Kyogre also makes it near impossible for Alomomola to safely pass a Wish, so teammates such as Special Defense Ferrothorn That's its only set in this meta and Primal Groudon are helpful.
  • Alomomola will often get overwhelmed by physical attackers such as Zacian-C, Mega Salamence, and Arceus, so teammates such as Primal Groudon and Arceus Dark help ease Alomomola’s workload.

Implemented! I don’t know why I keep forgetting about set credits. Ready for QC2!

Due to some issues with other analyses please tag me when you've done qc2 so I can stamp it. Also adding r8 to the set credits as he is the one who has primarily developed Alo and I consulted r8 to make sure my knowledge is correct as I've primarily used the physically defensive set.

[SET COMMENTS]

*Thanks to its great physical bulk, excellent utility, and excellent typing, Alomomola fills valuable niches on bulkier balance and stall teams. Alomomola is useful as a Flip Turn redundant defensive pivot that can shrug off damage thanks to Regenerator, as a status spreader, and as a Wish passer that increases the longevity of its teammates. Alo doesn't fit on stall teams. It is a bulky pivot that anchors (pun intended) bulky balance teams due to its ability to keep mons healthy such as Primal Groudon which lack recovery or bring in breakers.

*Toxic allows Alomomola to cripple the longevity of Ho-Oh, Primal Groudon, and support Arceus formes lacking Refresh. Toxic is especially useful against Primal Groudon, as it keeps Alomomola from being easily set up on. Zygarde is another big target as it is forced to Rest significantly more often which makes it quite difficult for Zygarde to make progress. It may be worth mentioning that protect enables Alo to force more Toxic damage while enabling it to scout Choice locked Pokemon such as Marshadow and Yveltal.

*Wish allows Alomomola to increase its longevity as well as the longevity of its teammates by providing recovery for allies such as Primal Groudon, Primal Kyogre,rc Giratina-O, and Ferrothorn Ferrothorn is generally fine w Leech Seed. Allowing specially offensive Yveltal to offset Stealth Rock damage is a more relevant example that have no reliable recovery options. This allows these teammates to check Zacian-C, Primal Groudon, Arceus, and Primal Kyogre with more effectively efficiency during the game. Wish in conjunction with Aa slow Flip Turn allows Alomomola to safely pass a Wish. This sentence should probably be moved up a bit..."A slow Flip turn allows Alo to safely pass a Wish to allies such as..."

*Scald allows Alomomola to potentially cripple Zacian-C, Arceus, Arceus-Ground, and Calyrex-I with a burn. Protect can be used instead to allow Alomomola to more easily receive a Wish from itself, scout choice item sets from Marshadow and Eternatus, and maximize Toxic damage on the opponent. Scald is being removed from the set.

*Heavy-Duty Boots allows Alomomola to freely pivot without worrying about entry hazards. Rocky Helmet can be used to punish contact attacks from foes such as Zacian-C, Marshadow, Arceus, Rayquaza, and Mega Salamence. RH is being removed from the set.

Bullet on the different EV spreads can go here. Phys def is a good pivot to Zacian-C as it survives +3 Wild Charge. The relevant mons for mixed defences are listed above. The 0 speed IVs is relevant for Mola being able to slow pivot on Chansey and Calyrex-I. Checking CB Caly-I could be mentioned somewhere.

*Tera Dark allows Alomomola to absorb powerful Psychic attacks such as Light that Burns the Sky from Ultra Necrozma and Psycho Boost from Deoxys-A. Tera Dark also makes Alomomola one of the few walls capable of handling the dangerous stall breaker in mixed attacker Deoxys-A thanks to Alomomola’s low weight lessening the power of Low Kick. After switching in, Alomomola can immediately threaten to OHKO a slightly chipped Deoxys-A with Flip Turn. Alomomola is more inconsistent handling Deoxys-A sets with Ice Beam though. Mola OHKOes Deoxys-A with Flip Turn after Stealth Rock and one round of Life Orb Chip. Not really sure what you're getting at with IB. Even phys def Mola shrugs off Ice beam while mixed is close to 5HKOed. If the calc is kept it probably belongs in the moves section. Mola has a poor matchup into Deo-A and Psyspam generally even with Tera Dark. If anything it fears Meteor Beam from Deoxys-A.

*Tera Poison provides a useful immunity to poison, allowing Alomomola to serve as a switch-in to Toxic Ho-Oh,rc and utility Arceus Formes Arceus-Fairy, and Arceus-Water. Tera Poison also allows Alomomola to absorb Toxic Spikes from Glimmora No one is teraing Mola T1 or Eternatus to keep teammates such as Primal Groudon, Primal Kyogre, and support Arceus formes status free, although switching into Primal Groudon and Arceus-Ground becomes harder.

*Alomomola is should be able to swap into unboosted physical attacks throughout the game consistently since it can use Regenerator to heal itself back up. Are there are phyiscal attacks that Mola cannot switch into? It can swap in to pivot on absorb an attack from Mega Salamence or Arceus-Ground and Flip Turn to safely bring in an answer such as Arceus-Fairy or Arceus-Dark in safety, healing itself and preventing its teammate from taking any unnecessary damage. Mola has difficulty doing all of this at once while remaining healthy as it allows Mega Mence to get a lot of boosts.

*Thanks to Alomomola Wish support, teammates without reliable recovery such as Primal Groudon and Giratina-O can switch more aggressively into Primal Kyogre and Arceus throughout the game without worrying about slowly being chipped down.

*Alomomola has trouble providing Wish support against Primal Groudon, so teammates that can deal with it such as Arceus-Dark and Giratina-O with Toxic are appreciatedMola can stall out Primal Groudon with Toxic + Protect. Wallbreaker Primal Kyogre also makes it near impossible for Alomomola to safely pass a Wish, so teammates such as Ferrothorn and Primal Groudon are helpful. Mola pivots and can wish to Primal Groudon perfectly fine against defensive Primal Kyogre.

*Alomomola will often get overwhelmed by physical attackers such as Zacian-C, Mega Salamence, and Arceus, so teammates such as Primal Groudon and Arceus-Dark help ease Alomomola’s workload. Please list some offensive partners for Mola. One of the things that makes it as good as it is the ability to bring in mons such as Choice Band Marshadow for free. Meteor Beam Eternatus is another example. Overall there is a bit too much emphasis on Mola needing to Wish pass in order to its job when often just being able to pivot and / or scout is more than enough.

* The given EV spread maximizes Alomomola’s mixed bulk, allowing it to shrug off hits from support Arceus formes and Eternatus. +3 for Caly-I isn't really relevant. Please change it to something along the lines of 'is 3HKOed by Choice Band Calyrex-I.' After that feel free to tag the gp team. Great job!

* The given first EV spread maximizes Alomomola's (change apostrophe type to ASCII) mixed bulk, allowing it to shrug off hits from support Arceus formes and Eternatus. The second EV spread maximizes Alomomola's (apostrophe type) physical bulk, allowing it to survive a +3 Wild Charge from Zacian-C and is 3HKOed by two uses of Glacial Lance from Choice Band Calyrex-I. The Having 0 Speed IVs allows Alomomola to be perform a slow Flip Turn against Chansey and Calyrex-I.
* Tera Dark allows Alomomola to absorb powerful Psychic-type attacks such as Light That Burns the Sky from Ultra Necrozma and Psycho Boost from Deoxys-A. Tera Dark also makes Alomomola one of the few walls capable of handling Deoxys-A thanks to Alomomola's (apostrophe type) low weight lessening the power of Low Kick. After switching in, Alomomola can immediately threaten to OHKO Deoxys-A with Flip Turn after Stealth Rock and a turn of Life Orb damage.
* Tera Poison provides a useful immunity to poison prevents Alomomola from becoming poisoned, allowing Alomomola it to serve as a switch-in to Toxic Ho-Oh and utility Arceus formes. Tera Poison also allows Alomomola to absorb Toxic Spikes from Eternatus to keep teammates such as Primal Groudon, Primal Kyogre, and support Arceus formes status-free (ah), although switching into Primal Groudon and Arceus-Ground becomes harder.
* Alomomola is able to swap into any unboosted physical attack besides Bolt Strike from Zekrom throughout the game consistently, (ac) since it can use Regenerator to heal itself back up. It can swap in to pivot on Mega Salamence or Arceus-Ground and pivot with Flip Turn to safely bring in an answer such as Arceus-Fairy or Arceus-Dark.
* Thanks to Alomomola's Wish support, teammates without reliable recovery such as Primal Groudon and Giratina-O can switch more aggressively into Primal Kyogre and Arceus more aggressively throughout the game without worrying about slowly being chipped down.
* Wallbreaker Primal Kyogre makes it near impossible for Alomomola to safely pass a Wish, so teammates such as Ferrothorn and Primal Groudon are helpful.
* Alomomola will often get overwhelmed by physical attackers such as Zacian-C, Mega Salamence, and Arceus, so teammates such as Primal Groudon and Arceus-Dark help ease Alomomola's (apostrophe type) workload.
* Alomomola provides excellent slow pivoting, so Pokemon that capitalize on a free switch such as Deoxys-A, Choice Band Marshadow, Choice Band Chien-Pao, and Meteor Beam Eternatus make excellent teammates.

Toxic is especially useful against Primal Groudon and Zygarde, (ac) as it keeps Alomomola from being easily set up on while forcing Zygarde to waste Rest PP.
* Protect allows Alomomola to more easily receive a Wish from itself, scout Choice item sets from Marshadow, Yveltal, and Eternatus, and maximize Toxic damage on the opponent foe.
