[OVERVIEW]
Mega Mawile is a force to be reckoned with in the 1v1 metagame, able to deal with top-tier threats such as Mega Gyarados, Porygon-Z, and Tapu Lele. Its ability, Huge Power, grants it the highest effective base Attack in the game, which it can boost even further with Swords Dance. A very solid typing in Steel / Fairy allows it to resist prevalent types like Normal, Psychic, Dark, and Fairy. Its natural bulk and pre-Mega ability Intimidate allow Mega Mawile to survive most neutral hits and even some super effective ones. However, Mega Mawile's abysmal Speed tier does it no favors, other than allowing it to almost always land Metal Burst successfully. There are also many common Fire- and Ground-types, such as Charizard, Heatran, and Donphan, which can handle Mega Mawile effectively.

Moves
========

Play Rough is Mega Mawile's go-to STAB move, resisted only by Fire-, Steel-, and Poison-types. It allows Mega Mawile to 2HKO Pokemon such as Gyarados and Dragonite and OHKO most frail offensive Pokemon like Porygon-Z. Sucker Punch makes up for Mawile's terrible Speed and allows it to finish off foes after any of Mega Mawile's other moves, such as against Meloetta. It can also sometimes outright OHKO targets such as Blacephalon. Iron Head is Mega Mawile's secondary STAB move that lets it hit Rock- and Fairy-type Pokemon, such as Crustle and Tapu Bulu, for super effective damage, as well as hitting Pokemon like Magearna and Mega Venusaur for neutral damage. Alternatively, Taunt is a very potent status move that allows Mega Mawile to check stall Pokemon, such as Porygon2 and Pyukumuku, and prevents foes like Magearna and Mega Altaria from using status moves to set up or heal themselves, while Fire Fang allows Mega Mawile to hit Steel-types such as Ferrothorn and Kartana for super effective damage. Swords Dance allows Mega Mawile to boost its Attack to even further heights to defeat bulkier Pokemon. This can allow it to break past defensive walls like Chansey without fear of Counter. Metal Burst is always a good option to have for Choice item users like Garchomp as well as foes that do not have recovery like Tapu Fini.

Set Details
========

Maximum HP investment along with 104 Defense EVs specifically allow Mega Mawile to survive an Earthquake from Adamant Gyarados followed by another Earthquake after it Mega Evolves into Mega Gyarados. The rest of the EVs are put into Attack to maximize damage output. Intimidate is the preferred ability that lets Mawile lower the opposing Pokemon's Attack stat, which allows it to survive many hits it normally wouldn't be able to take, such as Choice Band Garchomp's Earthquake and two Earthquakes from Adamant Dragonite.

Usage Tips
========

Mega Mawile is useful against Pokemon running STAB moves it resists or lacking STAB super effective moves. These include Pokemon such as Mega Gyarados, Dragonite, Porygon-Z, Tapu Lele, Meloetta, Mega Gardevoir, Crustle, and Mega Tyranitar. Against offensive foes that do not resist Fairy and cannot 2HKO Mega Mawile, simply use Play Rough twice. If they are left on a sliver of health after the first Play Rough, use Sucker Punch to finish them off. Do not send Mega Mawile in on Pokemon that resist Fairy, unless it is a Steel-type that is 4x weak to Fire Fang if you are running it, such as Kartana or Ferrothorn. For defensive foes such as Mega Venusaur, Swords Dance can be used to boost past their defenses. Do send Mega Mawile in on stall Pokemon that rely on only status moves and do not carry Taunt themselves, such as Wide Lens Jumpluff. Against foes that may carry Counter, it is better to use a weaker move like Sucker Punch or Metal Burst to scout for Counter before committing to a stronger move. The matchup with Mega Metagross is a tossup. If you have Metal Burst, use that first, and if not, use Sucker Punch first. Be wary that Mega Metagross can render Sucker Punch useless with Bullet Punch, so play accordingly.

Team Options
========

Pokemon that can deal with both Mega Charizard X and Mega Charizard Y, such as Water-type Pokemon like Primarina and Mega Gyarados and Dragon-types like Garchomp and Zygarde, are good partners for Mega Mawile. Mega Mawile can cover Pokemon that threaten them such as Porygon-Z and Meloetta. Mega Mawile needs checks to Sturdy Pokemon like Donphan and Golem, so physically bulky Pokemon like Mega Slowbro, Mega Sableye, and defensive Mew are much appreciated. Mega Mawile also helps to check the Dark-types that threaten these Pokemon, like Hoopa-U and Mega Gyarados. Ground-type Pokemon like Donphan and Landorus-T pair well with Mega Mawile, as their STAB attacks are super effective against all foes that resist Fairy, namely Steel-, Poison-, and Fire-types like Mega Aggron, Naganadel, and Mega Charizard X. Meanwhile, Mega Mawile takes care of Water- and Grass-types like Mega Gyarados and Tapu Bulu as well as some of the bulkier Dragon-types like Dragonite, Mega Altaria, and Kommo-o.

Moves
========

Play Rough is Mega Mawile's most powerful STAB move that allows it to OHKO or 2HKO most of the metagame, including Mega Gyarados, Dragonite, Porygon-Z, and Tapu Lele. Metal Burst allows Mega Mawile to retaliate after surviving opposing Pokemon's moves. This is a great move to lure Pokemon that are unable to OHKO Mega Mawile, such as Genesect and Choice Specs Greninja. Sucker Punch is a great priority finisher that allows Mega Mawile to finish off weakened Pokemon, such as Crustle after a Play Rough. Taunt forces opposing Pokemon to attack, preventing them from recovering HP and also letting Mega Mawile get off a guaranteed Metal Burst, shutting down setup Pokemon like Fairium Z Magearna. Swords Dance is an option to boost Mega Mawile's already insane Attack stat. When used in conjunction with Taunt, this can allow Mega Mawile to break through certain stall Pokemon like Chansey and Necrozma.

Set Details
========

Maximum HP and Special Defense investment allows Mega Mawile to survive as many attacks as possible, Modest Primarina's Oceanic Operetta in particular. It allows Mega Mawile to survive many special attacks in general, such as Aegislash's Never-Ending Nightmare and Choice Specs Greninja's Hydro Cannon. The rest of the EVs are put into Attack. Intimidate lowers the opponent's Attack and also improves Mega Mawile's survivability. 0 Speed IVs with a Sassy nature help Mega Mawile be slower so Metal Burst does not fail.

Usage Tips
========

Use Mega Mawile against special attackers that usually have the upper hand against offensive sets. This set does well against Choice item users that cannot OHKO Mega Mawile, as Mega Mawile can simply return any damage it takes through Metal Burst or outright OHKO them with Play Rough. These include Choice Scarf Garchomp, Choice Scarf Landorus-T, Choice Specs Greninja, Choice Specs Genesect, and Choice Specs Necrozma. As this is a lure set, it is best used to surprise the opponent. If they are aware of your strategy, Pokemon such as Primarina and Electrium Z Magnezone can take advantage of Metal Burst and use status moves like Substitute and Metal Sound to prevent taking heavy damage.

Team Options
========

Rock- and Ground-type Pokemon such as Mega Tyranitar and Golem work well with Mega Mawile, as they deal with the omnipresent Mega Charizard X and Mega Charizard Y, while Mega Mawile can deal with the Water-type Pokemon that threaten them, like Mega Gyarados and Tapu Fini. Mega Mawile also pairs well with special attackers like Normalium Z Porygon-Z, Mega Charizard Y, and Choice Specs Greninja that can handle physical walls like Mega Slowbro and Mew. Mega Mawile then threatens specially defensive Pokemon like Meloetta and Dragonite.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

Hyper Cutter is another option over Intimidate that prevents opposing Pokemon from weakening Mawile's Attack with Intimidate or moves like Charm. Combined with Swords Dance, Mega Mawile can boost its Attack to nigh-unstoppable levels. This can help against Pokemon such as Charm Mega Venusaur and Chansey but sorely restricts its defensive utility, losing out matchups like Choice Band Garchomp and Mega Gyarados. Other moves such as Counter, Endure, Ice Punch, and Thunder Punch can be run; however, they are hard to fit on Mega Mawile's tight moveset, as you lose out on either priority with Sucker Punch, utility with Taunt, or setup with Swords Dance. Counter hits physical attackers harder, such as Mega Aggron. Endure can be used to lure recharge move users such as Blast Burn Mega Charizard Y and Hydro Cannon Water-type starter Pokemon. Ice Punch hits some Pokemon harder, having a higher chance of OHKOing uninvested Dragonite. Thunder Punch eases the Mega Gyarados and Tapu Fini matchup and provides a way to hit Celesteela and Mega Charizard X that do not Mega Evolve fearing Play Rough. An EV spread with maximum Attack and Speed investment can be used to outspeed some threats such as uninvested Magearna, but this loses out on the defensive utility that other spreads offer Mega Mawile.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Pokemon with Super Effective STAB Moves**: Pokemon such as Mega Charizard X, Mega Charizard Y, and Groundium Z Donphan and Garchomp can OHKO Mega Mawile before it has a chance to strike back.

**Powerful Special Attackers**: Pokemon with strong special attacks such as Choice Specs Naganadel and Electrium Z Magnezone are usually able to OHKO Mega Mawile, unless Mega Mawile is running a specially defensive set.

**Pokemon that Resist Mega Mawile's STAB Moves**: Steel-types like Mega Aggron do not fear any of Mega Mawile's moves and can 3HKO back with Heavy Slam. Mega Venusaur resists Play Rough and can chip away at Mega Mawile, unless Mega Mawile uses Swords Dance and carries Iron Head as well.

**Defensive Pokemon**: Pokemon that can lower Mega Mawile's Attack or boost their physical bulk, such as stall Mew and Mega Slowbro, are good checks to Mega Mawile. Mega Mawile cannot use Taunt to defeat these Pokemon, as Mew has a faster Taunt and Slowbro has Oblivious.

Bolded is additions, strikethrough is stuff that should be removed, underline needs to be edited in some way, red is comments. All information I bring are based on 1630 Usage stats (considering anything at or above 6% as of Dec 2018 usage relevant) and Calcs.

[OVERVIEW]
- Mega Mawile is a force to be reckoned with in the 1v1 metagame, able to deal with top tier threats such as Mega Gyarados, Porygon-Z and Tapu Lele.
- Mega Mawile's ability, Huge Power, grants it the highest Base Attack in the game. mention swords dance
- With a very solid typing in Steel and Fairy allowing it to resist prevalent types like Normal-, Psychic- and Fairy-type, decent bulk post Mega-Evolving, and Intimidate, Mega Mawile is capable of surviving most neutral hits. Nothing wrong but the wording here is strange. You start by saying you resist x types, and its worded to seem like its leading up to mawile surviving most neutral hits. Split the useful resists and usable bulk into two sentences/bullet points
- mention utility in moves like Taunt and Metal Burst.
- Mega Mawile's abysmal Speed tier does it no favours, other than allowing it to almost always land Metal Burst last.
- Common Fire- and Ground-types, such as both Mega Charizards, Heatran and Donphan can handle Mega Mawile effectively.
- Mega Mawile is quite a straightforward Pokemon, and is therefore predictable. Not really a necessary point, a lot of great mons in 1v1 like Mega Gyarados, zard y, Mega Slowbro, etc are very predictable, plus thats pretty subjective anyway, as thats more based on skill level rather than calcs

Is metal burst any good for offensive? you don't have the same spdef as the second set but basically the same def and hp, if there are any relevant physical threats metal burst is good for i'd suggest slashing it on the 4th slot.

- Play Rough is Mawile's go-to STAB move, resisted only by Fire-, Steel- and Poison- types. what does it beat tho?
- Sucker Punch makes up for Mawile's terrible speed and allows it to finish off many opponents such as? after Play Rough.
- Iron Head is Mawile's secondary STAB move that lets it hit Rock-type Pokemon for Super Effective damage, as well as hitting Pokemon like Magearna and Mega Venusaur for neutral damage. Neither of those are super consistent matchups. What about hitting fairies like Bulu and Whimsicott? Also I'm not sure you need iron head to beat the relevant rock types, but if theres something I'm missing lmk. If not consider talking in 1v1 QC about removing iron head
- Fire Fang allows Mega Mawile to hit Steel-types such as Ferrothorn, Genesect Flamethrower nukes you, 80% usage, Kartana and Magnezone Electrium nukes you for Super Effective damage.
- Swords Dance allows Mawile to boost its Attack to even further heights, to defeat bulkier Pokemon. This can allow it to break past defensive walls like Chansey without fear of Counter.
- Taunt is a very potent status move that allows Mawile to have a fighting chance against check stall Pokemon, such as Wide Lens Jumpluff and Pyukumuku. a fighting chance makes it sound like it shouldn't be on the set at all. Mention how it stops set up, healing and stat debuffs from charm users,

Set Details
========

- Max 248 why not run 252 hp? HP ensure that Mawile is able to tank as many hits as possible any relavant examples?, while max Attack lets Mawile hit as hard as possible. The rest of the EVs are put into Mawile's weaker Special Defense.
- Intimidate lets Mawile weaken the opponent's Attack stat, which allows it to survive many hits it normally wouldn't be able to take, such as Earthquake Mega Gyarados and hyper cutter makes it a 50/50 Choice Scarf Garchomp. have you considered running EVs: 248 HP / 200 Atk / 60 Def as a set, to live Choice Band Garchomp? This also prevents max attack dnite eq from 2hkoing 99% of the time. You may want to if the 200 attack evs doesn't make a difference compared to 252
- Hyper Cutter prevents opponents from weakening Mawile's attack stat with moves like Charm, or Intimidate. Combined with Swords Dance, Mawile can achieve nigh unstoppable Attack. When does this matter?

Usage Tips
========

- Mawile is useful against Pokemon running STAB moves it resists, or who do not have STAB Super Effective moves. These include Pokemon such as Mega Gyarados, Porygon-Z, Tapu Lele, Meloetta and Dragonite.
- Against offensive opponents who do not resist Fairy and do not 2HKO you, simply use Play Rough twice. If they are left on a sliver of health after the first Play Rough, use Sucker Punch to finish them off. Mention to be careful of Pokemon who can set up, as they can use that to avoid Sucker Punch, and make 50/50s
- Do not send Mawile on Sturdy Pokemon, unless you are sure that they do not run Counter, and do not carry STAB Groundium Z. Well, Magnezone and carracosta should ohko/be inconsistent, and aggron probably wins as well, so the end point is inaccurate.
- Do not send Mawile on Pokemon that resist Fairy, unless it is a Steel-type that is weak to Fire Fang if you are running it, such as Genesect or Ferrothorn.
- For defensive opponents such as?, Swords Dance can be used to boost past their defenses, but generally, do not send Mawile in on defensive walls.
- Do send Mawile in on stall Pokemon that rely on only status moves and do not carry Taunt themselves, such as Wide Lens Jumpluff.
- Against opponents who may carry Counter such as?, it is better to use a weaker move like Metal Burst or Sucker Punch, before finishing them off.
- Dragonite and Mega Metagross are complex matchups 50/50s for Mawile. For non Weakness Policy unset/not used Dragonite, it is better to Play Rough first. After that, attempt to Sucker Punch. The issue here is that Extreme Speed outprioritises Sucker Punch, and will cause Mawile's attack to fail. As such, use Play Rough or Sucker Punch based on your own judgement. Again, that ev spread would make the matchup vs physical dnite guaranteed.
- For Mega Metagross, if you have Metal Burst, use that first, and if not, then use Sucker Punch first. Be wary that Mega Metagross can render Sucker Punch useless with Bullet Punch, and so play accordingly.

- Play Rough is Mawile's most powerful STAB move that has the best coverage. what does it hit?
- Metal Burst allows Mawile to retaliate after surviving opponents' moves, even if they resist. Who is this good against?
- Sucker Punch is a great finisher that has +1 priority as long as the opponent does not use a faster priority move or a non-damaging move. when is this needed?
- Taunt lets Mawile forces the opposing Pokemon to attack, preventing it from recovering HP, and also letting Mawile get off a guaranteed Metal Burst.
- Swords Dance is an option to boost Mawile's already insane Attack stat.
- Iron Head is good for more coverage against certain types like Rock-, Poison- and Fairy-Steel-type Pokemon, like Crustle, Mega Venusaur and Magearna. as i said before, none of these are reliable

Okay in general just give more examples for the moves section. Really except for Iron Head a reader will have no idea who to use these moves against.

Set Details
========

- Max HP and SpDef allow Mawile to survive as many attacks as possible, given Mawile's low base SpDef. anything in particular? say, z-shadow ball aegislash, or something like that
- Intimidate lowers the opponent's Attack stat and also improves Mawile's survivability.
mention 4 evs in attack

Usage Tips
========
- Use this Mawile on Special Attackers that usually have the upper hand on the regular set.
- These include Primarina, Magnezone Metal sound should win after the lure works, but mons like Aegislash will be 50/50s, Aegislash and Choice Specs Greninja.
- As this is a lure set, it is best used to surprise the opponent. If they are aware of your strategy, these Pokemon can take advantage and use status moves like Substitute or Metal Sound to prevent being Metal Bursted on.
- If played correctly, they will attack with their stronger STAB moves, and Mawile will be able to survive and return OHKO with Metal Burst, or Metal Burst into Sucker Punch.

- This set does well against Choiced attackers that cannot OHKO Mawile, as Mawile can simply return any damage it takes through Metal Burst, or outright OHKO with Play Rough. These include Choice Scarf Garchomp, Choice Scarf Landorus-Therian, and Choice Specs Necrozma. put this point first, since these are guaranteed matchups. Put Choice Specs Greninja here too, since thats also guaranteed, as compared to the non choice users.
- Otherwise, use this like the standard Mawile set.
just switch around the order, and emphasize that matchups like aegi and magnezone aren't guaranteed. Also, don't include mons that you only beat once, and will win 100% of the time afterwards.
Team Options
========

- Rock-type Pokemon work well with Mawile, as they deal with the omnipresent Mega Charizard formes, while Mawile can deal with the Water-type Pokemon that threaten them, like Mega Gyarados, Greninja, Primarina and Tapu Fini.
- Mawile pairs well with Special Attackers like Normalium Z Porygon-Z, Mega Charizard Y and Choice Specs Greninja that can handle physical walls like Mega Slowbro and Mew.
again, ground types
[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

- Thunder Punch can be run as a coverage option for Water-type Pokemon like Primarina, no, prima tanks however Play Rough is generally enough to handle most threats. i would remove this unless you have a better example
- Ice Punch can also be considered to hit some Pokemon harder, having a higher chance of OHKOing speedy Dragonite.
- Counter can be run to hit physical attacker harder, such as Mega Aggron.
- A set of Max Attack and Max Speed can be used to outspeed some threats such as uninvested Magearna.
- Endure can be used to lure Recharge moves such as Blast Burn from Mega Charizard Y, or Hydro Cannon from Water-type starter Pokemon.
- Snatch is a very obscure move that can allow Mega Mawile to steal certain status moves from the opponent, including Substitute. This can be helpful against Pokemon like Zygarde, which frequently utilise Coil and Substitute, both of which can be 'snatched'. no zygarde should lose to mawile, they just z into thousand waves

Checks and Counters
===================

**Pokemon with Super Effective STAB Moves**: Pokemon such as both Mega Charizard formes, Donphan, and Garchomp can OHKO Mega Mawile before it has a chance to strike back.

**Powerful Special Attackers**: Pokemon with strong nukes such as Primarina, Choice Specs Naganadel and Magnezone are usually able to OHKO Mega Mawile.

**Pokemon that resist Mega Mawile's STAB Moves**: Steel-types like Mega Aggron do not fear any of Mega Mawile's moves, and can 3HKO back with Heavy Slam. It also does not fear Metal Burst from Mawile as Mega Aggron is slower than Mawile. Mega Venusaur resists Play Rough and can chip away at Mawile, unless Mawile uses Swords Dance and carries Iron Head as well.

**Defensive Pokemon**: Pokemon that can lower Mawile's attack or boost their physical defenses, such as stall Mew and Mega Slowbro, are good checks to Mawile. Mawile cannot use Taunt to defeat these Pokemon as Mew has a faster Taunt and Slowbro has Oblivious.

refer to Mawile as Mega Mawile unless its about specifically a unevolved Mawile trait (such as "have Intimidate on Mawile" or something).

also flesh this out a bit more with more examples.

- 248 HP with 60 Def specifically allows Mega Mawile to survive Earthquake from a Jolly Choice Band Garchomp after Intimidate. The rest of the EVs are put into Attack to maximise damage output.
- The odd HP lets Mega Mawile take one more turn of Leech Seed. What is this helpful for?
- Intimidate lets Mawile weaken the opponent's Attack stat, which allows it to survive many hits it normally wouldn't be able to take, such as Choice Band Garchomp's Earthquake and 2 Earthquakes from Max Attack Adamant Dragonite.
- Hyper Cutter prevents opponents from weakening Mawile's attack stat with moves like Charm, or Intimidate. Combined with Swords Dance, Mawile can achieve nigh unstoppable Attack. This can help against Pokemon such as Charm Mega Venusaur and Chansey.

- Mega Mawile is useful against Pokemon running STAB moves it resists, or who do not have STAB Super Effective moves. These include Pokemon such as Mega Gyarados, Porygon-Z, Tapu Lele, Meloetta and Dragonite.

- Do not send Mega Mawile in on Sturdy Pokemon. Crustle/Sawk/Avalugg/Carracosta? I'd suggest just broadening this to offensive mons with STABs that are super effective against you and special nukes that you don't resist.
- Do not send Mega Mawile on Pokemon that resist Fairy, unless it is a Steel-type that is weak to Fire Fang if you are running it, such as Kartana or Ferrothorn.
- For defensive opponents, such as Mega Venusaur, Swords Dance can be used to boost past their defenses.

- With some of these, you seem to rely on using the same example of mons you beat a lot, in addition to only providing one example for some sections. I don't think that's necessarily wrong, it just seems to be a bit too narrow of a perspective, imo.

- Mega Mawile pairs well with Special Attackers like Normalium Z Porygon-Z, Mega Charizard Y and Choice Specs Greninja that can handle physical walls like Mega Slowbro and Mew. And what does Mawile do in return for them?

Checks and Counters
===================

**Pokemon with Super Effective STAB Moves**: Pokemon such as both Mega Charizard formes, Donphan, and Garchomp Both of these need Groundium in order to do so can OHKO Mega Mawile before it has a chance to strike back.

**Powerful Special Attackers**: Pokemon with strong nukes such as Choice Specs Naganadel and Magnezone are usually able to OHKO Mega Mawile.

**Pokemon that resist Mega Mawile's STAB Moves**: Steel-types like Mega Aggron do not fear any of Mega Mawile's moves, and can 3HKO back with Heavy Slam. It also does not fear Metal Burst from Mega Mawile as Mega Aggron is slower than Mega Mawile They are the same speed Mega Venusaur resists Play Rough and can chip away at Mega Mawile, unless Mega Mawile uses Swords Dance and carries Iron Head as well.

**Defensive Pokemon**: Pokemon that can lower Mega Mawile's attack or boost their physical defenses, such as stall Mew and Mega Slowbro, are good checks to Mega Mawile. Mega Mawile cannot use Taunt to defeat these Pokemon as Mew has a faster Taunt and Slowbro has Oblivious.

[OVERVIEW]
Mega Mawile is a force to be reckoned with in the 1v1 metagame, able to deal with top tier threats such as Mega Gyarados, Porygon-Z
and Tapu Lele. Its ability, Huge Power, grants it the highest Base Attack in the game.
It also learns Swords Dance which can boost this even further. A very solid typing in Steel and Fairy allows it to resist prevalent types like Normal-, Psychic-, Dark- and Fairy-types. Its natural bulk and ability Intimidate allows Mega Mawile to survive most neutral hits, and even some Super-Effective ones. However, Mega Mawile's abysmal Speed tier does it no favours, other than allowing it to almost always land Metal Burst last. There are also many common Fire- and Ground-types, such as Charizard, Heatran and Donphan, which can handle Mega Mawile effectively.

Moves

Play Rough is Mega Mawile's go-to STAB move, resisted only by Fire-, Steel- and Poison- types. It allows Mega Mawile to 2HKO Pokemon such as Gyarados and Dragonite, and can OHKO most frail offensive Pokemon, like Porygon-Z. Sucker Punch makes up for Mawile's terrible speed and allows it to finish off many opponents after any of Mega Mawile's other moves, such as against Meloetta. It can also sometimes straight up OHKO opponents such as Blacephalon. Iron Head is Mega Mawile's secondary STAB move that lets it hit Rock-type and Fairy-type Pokemon, such as Crustle and Tapu Bulu, for Super Effective damage, as well as hitting Pokemon like Magearna and Mega Venusaur for neutral damage. Taunt is a very potent status move that allows Mega Mawile to check stall Pokemon, such as
Wide Lens Jumpluff we decided that it's better not to mention this matchup at all,for,regardinh Grassium-Z Infestation Jumpluff,while Mawile probably has a higher win chance,it can still lose,and thus any statement on the matter would be incorrect Porygon2 and Pyukumuku.
It prevents the opponent from using status moves to set up or heal themselves. Fire Fang allows Mega Mawile to hit Steel-types such as Ferrothorn and Kartana for super effective damage. Swords Dance allows Mega Mawile to boost its Attack to even further heights, to defeat bulkier Pokemon. This can allow it to break past defensive walls like Chansey without fear of Counter. Metal Burst is always a good option to have for Choiced attackers like Garchomp, as well as opponents that do not have recovery like Tapu Fini.

Set Details
========

248 HP with 60 Def specifically allows Mega Mawile to survive Earthquake from a Jolly Choice Band Garchomp after Intimidate. The rest of the EVs are put into Attack to maximise damage output. The odd HP lets Mega Mawile take one more turn of Leech Seed, to give Mega Mawile more chances to break past Leech Seed stallers like Jumpluff. Intimidate is the preferred ability that lets Mawile weaken the opponent's Attack stat, which allows it to survive many hits it normally wouldn't be able to take, such as Choice Band Garchomp's Earthquake and 2 Earthquakes from Max Attack Adamant Dragonite. Hyper Cutter is another option that prevents opponents from weakening Mawile's attack stat with moves like Charm, or Intimidate Hyper Cutter should go to other options
. Combined with Swords Dance, Mawile can achieve nigh unstoppable Attack. This can help against Pokemon such as Charm Mega Venusaur and Chansey.

Usage Tips
========

Mega Mawile is useful against Pokemon running STAB moves it resists, or who do not have STAB Super Effective moves. These include Pokemon such as Mega Gyarados, Dragonite, Porygon-Z, Tapu Lele, Meloetta, Mega Gardevoir, Crustle, Mega Tyranitar. Against offensive opponents who do not resist Fairy and do not 2HKO you, simply use Play Rough twice. If they are left on a sliver of health after the first Play Rough, use Sucker Punch to finish them off. Do not send Mega Mawile on Pokemon that resist Fairy, unless it is a Steel-type that is 4 times weak to Fire Fang if you are running it, such as Kartana or Ferrothorn. For defensive opponents, such as Mega Venusaur, Swords Dance can be used to boost past their defenses. Do send Mega Mawile in on stall Pokemon that rely on only status moves and do not carry Taunt themselves, such as Wide Lens Jumpluff. Against opponents who may carry Counter, it is better to use a weaker move like Metal Burst You wouldn't benefit from using Metal Burst at all,Counter has double the PP and Metal Burst deals no damage unless you are attacked anyway.
or Sucker Punch, before finishing them off. The matchup with Mega Metagross is a 50/50. If you have Metal Burst, use that first, and if not, then use Sucker Punch first. Be wary that Mega Metagross can render Sucker Punch useless with Bullet Punch, and so play accordingly.

Team Options

Pokemon that can deal with both Charizard formes, such as Water-type Pokemon like Primarina and Mega Gyarados, and Dragon-types like Garchomp and Zygarde, are good partners for Mega Mawile. Mega Mawile can cover Pokemon that threaten them such as Porygon-Z and Meloetta. Mega Mawile needs checks to Sturdy Pokemon like Donphan and Golem, so physically bulky Pokemon like Mega Slowbro, Mega Sableye and defensive Mew are much appreciated. Mega Mawile also helps to check the Dark-types that threaten these Pokemon like?

Moves

Play Rough is Mega Mawile's most powerful STAB move that allows Mega Mawile to OHKO or 2HKO most of the meta, including Mega Gyarados, Dragonite, Porygon-Z and Tapu Lele. Metal Burst allows Mega Mawile to retaliate after surviving opponents' moves, even if they resist. This is a great move to lure Pokemon that are unable to OHKO Mega Mawile, such as Genesect and Choice Specs Greninja. Sucker Punch is a great finisher that has +1 priority as long as the opponent does not use a faster priority move or a status move. This allows Mega Mawile to finish off weakened opponents, such as Crustle after taking a Play Rough. Taunt forces opposing Pokemon to attack, preventing them from recovering HP, and also letting Mega Mawile get off a guaranteed Metal Burst, shutting down set up Pokemon like Fairium Z Magearna. Swords Dance is an option to boost Mega Mawile's already insane Attack stat. When used in conjunction with Taunt, this can allow Mega Mawile to break through certain stall Pokemon like Chansey and Necrozma.

248 HP and max SpDef EVs allow Mega Mawile to survive as many attacks as possible, in particular Modest Primarina's Oceanic Operetta. It allows Mega Mawile to survive many Special attacks such as Aegislash's Neverending Nightmare, and Hydro Cannon from Choice Specs Greninja. The rest of the EVs are put into Attack. Intimidate lowers the opponent's Attack stat and also improves Mega Mawile's survivability. 0 Spe IVs with a Sassy nature help Mega Mawile be slower so Metal Burst does not fail.

motogp implemented most things, just want to confirm Thunder Punch in discord.

Things I haven't changed:
Z Conversion Pz isn't really an issue I reckon, as long as you have Taunt, which both sets do contain. If you want we can test it out, or I can flesh out the matchup in more details in like Usage or something, but I think generally Taunt Mawile has a reliable winning matchup vs any Porygon-Z.
C&C:
- Choice Band Garchomp isn't necessary, the first set lives it guaranteed.
- Naganadel I've also left, as I wasn't sure if Modest was going to be regarded as a 'standard', as that always has a better chance of beating mawile, i've added a note after though.

(Also idk if you were doing this on mobile or whatever but the formatting is horrible and it looks like you've copypasted the whole thing twice in a random place.)

Usage Tips

Use Mega Mawile on against special attackers that usually have the upper hand on against the regular set offensive sets. (generalisting to avoid cross-set reference) This set does well against Choiced attackers Choice item users that cannot OHKO Mega Mawile, as Mega Mawile can simply return any damage it takes through Metal Burst (RC) or outright OHKO them with Play Rough. These include Choice Scarf Garchomp, Choice Scarf Landorus-Therian, Landorus-T, Choice Specs Greninja, Choice Specs Genesect, (AC) and Choice Specs Necrozma. =============

Hyper Cutter is another option over Intimidate that prevents opponents opposing Pokemon from weakening Mawile's attack stat with Intimidate or moves like Charm, or Intimidate. Combined with Swords Dance, Mawile can achieve nigh unstoppable boots its Attack to nigh-unstoppable levels. This can help against Pokemon such as Charm Mega Venusaur and Chansey (RC) but sorely restricts its defensive utility, losing out matchups like Choice Band Garchomp and Mega Gyarados. Other moves such as Counter, Endure, Ice Punch, (AC) and Thunder Punch can be run; (SC) however, (AC) it is they are hard to fit on Mega Mawile's tight move set moveset, as you either lose out on either priority with Sucker Punch, utility with Taunt, (AC) or set up setup with Swords Dance. Counter can be run to hit hits physical attackers harder, such as Mega Aggron. Endure can be used to lure recharge move users such as Blast Burn from Mega Charizard Y, or and Hydro Cannon from Water-type starter Pokemon. Ice Punch can also be considered to hit hits some Pokemon harder, having a higher chance of OHKOing uninvested Dragonite. Thunder Punch eases the Mega Gyarados and Tapu Fini matchup (RC) as well as providing a way to hit Celesteela and Mega Charizard X that do not Mega Evolve (RH) fearing Play Rough. An EV set spread of maximum Attack and maximum Speed can be used to outspeed some threats such as uninvested Magearna, but this loses out on the defensive utility that other sets spreads offer Mega Mawile.

Checks and Counters

**Defensive Pokemon**: Pokemon that can lower Mega Mawile's Attack or boost their physical defenses bulk, such as stall Mew and Mega Slowbro, are good checks to Mega Mawile. Mega Mawile cannot use Taunt to defeat these Pokemon, (AC) as Mew has a faster Taunt and Slowbro has Oblivious.

For defensive foes, (RC) such as Mega Venusaur, Swords Dance can be used to boost past their defenses. Do send Mega Mawile in on stall Pokemon that rely on only status moves and do not carry Taunt themselves, such as Wide Lens Jumpluff. Against foes that who may carry Counter, it is better to use a weaker move like Sucker Punch or Metal Burst to scout for Counter before committing to a stronger move. The matchup with Mega Metagross is a tossup. If you have Metal Burst, use that first, and if not, use Sucker Punch first. Be wary that Mega Metagross can render Sucker Punch useless with Bullet Punch, so play accordingly.

Team Options

Pokemon that can deal with both Mega Charizard formes X and Mega Charizard Y, such as Water-type Pokemon like Primarina and Mega Gyarados and Dragon-types like Garchomp and Zygarde, are good partners for Mega Mawile. Ground-type Pokemon like Donphan and Landorus-T pair well with Mega Mawile, as their STAB attacks are super effective against all foes that resist Fairy, namely Steel-, Poison-, (AC) and Fire-types like Mega Aggron, Naganadel, (AC) and Mega Charizard X. Meanwhile, (AC) Mega Mawile takes care of Water- and Grass-types like Mega Gyarados and Tapu Bulu, (RC) as well as some of the bulkier Dragon-types like Dragonite, Mega Altaria, and Kommo-o.

Moves
========

Set Details
========

252 HP and maximum Special Defense EVs Maximum HP and Special Defense investment allows Mega Mawile to survive as many attacks as possible, in particular Modest Primarina's Oceanic Operetta in particular. It allows Mega Mawile to survive many special attacks in general, such as Aegislash's Never-Ending Nightmare and Choice Specs Greninja's Hydro Cannon. The rest of the EVs are put into Attack. Intimidate lowers the opponent's Attack stat and also improves Mega Mawile's survivability. 0 Speed IVs with a Sassy nature help Mega Mawile be slower so Metal Burst does not fail.

Usage Tips
========

========

Rock- and Ground-type Pokemon such as Mega Tyranitar and Golem work well with Mega Mawile, as they deal with the omnipresent Mega Charizard formes X and Mega Charizard Y, while Mega Mawile can deal with the Water-type Pokemon that threaten them, like Mega Gyarados and Tapu Fini.

Other Options
=============

Hyper Cutter is another option over Intimidate that prevents opposing Pokemon from weakening Mawile's Attack stat with Intimidate, (RC) or moves like Charm. Other moves such as Counter, Endure, Ice Punch, and Thunder Punch can be run; however, they are hard to fit on Mega Mawile's tight moveset, as you lose out on either priority with Sucker Punch, utility with Taunt, (AC) or setup with Swords Dance. Thunder Punch eases the Mega Gyarados and Tapu Fini matchup as well as providing and provides a way to hit Celesteela and Mega Charizard X that do not Mega Evolve fearing Play Rough. An EV spread of with maximum Attack and maximum Speed investment can be used to outspeed some threats such as uninvested Magearna, but this loses out on the defensive utility that other spreads offer Mega Mawile.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Pokemon with Super Effective STAB Moves**: Pokemon such as both Mega Charizard X, Mega Charizard Y, formes and Groundium Z Donphan, (AC) and Garchomp can OHKO Mega Mawile before it has a chance to strike back.
