Mega Medicham is a fearsome wallbreaker due to its great Attack powered up with Pure Power, its vast movepool, access to priority such as Fake Out and Bullet Punch, and its Fighting-typing allows it to tear apart Normal-. Dark-, and put pressure on Steel and Poison-type teams. Fake Out allows Mega Medicham to get off decent chip damage. High Jump Kick allows it to break the defesive cores of Blissey and Porygon2, Drapion and Tyranitar, while threatening Steel-types like Heatran, Ferrothorn, and Melmetal. Zen Headbutt allows it to take care of Toxapex, Mega Venusaur, and Breloom. Ice Punch can be ran over Zen Headbutt to give Medicham a way to majorly dent or OHKO Flying- and Dragon-types like Landorus, Gliscor, Zapdos, and Latias and Latios on the switch. Bullet Punch greatly helps with being able to OHKO Mega Diancie and Alolan Ninetales while greatly denting other Fairy- and Ice-types such as Tapu Bulu, Galarian Darmanitan, Weavile, and Mamoswine. Lastly, Thunder Punch can be ran over Bullet Punch and with Ice Punch to give it BoltBeam coverage. Thunder Punch is able to take care of Flying- and Water-types like Moltres, Mantine, Slowking and Tapu Fini. A Jolly nature with 252 Speed Evs is used to outpacing Hyredgion, Urshifu-R, and Kyurem while 252 EVs in Attack makes Mega Medicham as strong as possible.
Every teammate appricate Mega Medicham's wallbreaking power to break defensive core of Blissey and Porygon2, Toxapex and Tapu Fini, and Mega Venusaur and Drapion. Victini is an excellent partner for Mega Medicham as they can form a Steel-type breaking core and Victini can take care of Aegislash and Celesteela that Mega Medicham has trouble breaking. Mega Medicham loves Stealth Rock and Thunder Wave from Jirachi to help Mega Medicham being able to sweep, outpace Pokemon such as Latios and Mega Latias when paralyzed, threaten Fairy-types like Tapu Lele and Jirachi can bring it in via its slow U-turn. Slowbro is an excellent partner for Mega Medicham as it can come in on physcial attacks from Excadrill and Garchomp and bring Mega Medicham in with Teleport. Latias is a great Choice Scarf user that can outpace Terrakion, Speciter, and Tapu Koko, a great Defog user that can help get rid of entry hazards that can easily wear Mega Medicham down or hinder it with getting Poisoned, and use Healing Wish to restore Mega Medicam back to full health, at the cost of losing Latias. Tapu Lele is able to summon Psychic tertian, which allows it to take care of Bisharp and can take care of Mega Sableye and Mandibuzz that Mega Medicham has trouble beating.
