Mega Mirrors (Slate 16.5 - Discussion)

Name of Pokemon: Ampharos
Name of New Mega Stone [X or Y]: Ampharosite X
New Mega's Type: Electric/Fire
New Mega's Ability: Elemental Body*
New Mega's Stats: 100/125/105/105/105/70
Good sub, but Mega Evolutions can't change HP, so you'll need to put those 10 points elsewhere. Also, you're only allowed to give a new Mega up to 2 new moves, so just remove 2 moves from Amph and 1 from Audino.

Name of Pokemon: Ampharos
Name of New Mega Stone [X or Y]: Ampharosite X
New Mega's Type: Electric/Fire
New Mega's Ability: Elemental Body*
New Mega's Stats: 90/130/105/105/110/70
New Moves (if any): Roaring Crush**, Wild Charge,
Flavor (Optional): Mega Ampharos X uses its immense bulky stature to crush or Slam into its opponents, who often can’t handle Mega Ampharos X’s huge body temperature. While its firepower is a force to be reckoned with, MAX can electrocute its opponents with merely a swish of a tail or any contact. Lots of MAX’s fur round its head has been singed away with its own fire, leaving it with a terrifying blackened head. MAX works hard to stay away from humans, as it fears that it may harm them accidentally.
Competitive description: with great offensive stats and reasonable bulk, this Pokemon often hurts people with its strong physical moves. Elemental body allows it to paralyse or burn on 75 BP priority.

*Elemental Body- Has 10% to paralyse and 10% to burn when any contact happens with this Pokemon (MAX using contact, and foe using contact triggers the possibility)
**Roaring Crush- 75 BP physical Fire move which has +1 priority and 20% to paralyse

Name of Pokemon: Audino
Name of New Mega Stone [X or Y]: Audinite Y
New Mega’s type: Normal/Ghost
New Mega's Ability: Phantom’s Spirit*
New Mega's Stats: 103/50/74/130/88/100
New Moves (if any): Phantom Force, Focus Blast
Flavor (Optional): MAY floats around unnoticed in any room it’s in, occasionally entering one’s mind to possess him/her.
Competitive Description: Mega Audino Y has a greate Spak stat, utilising Hyper Voice And Shadow Ball to hurt the opponent. It’s unique Normal/Ghost typing allows is to beat popular coverage like normal/ghost and fighting/ghost, while using some very good coverage itself. It’s amazing ability lets it take advantage of lower accuracy moves in order for more hax, and parafuse seems like a miserable option for the opposition.

*Phantom’s Spirit- whenever the foe misses a move or whenever they become statused or switch in while they’re statused, the foe becomes confused.
Long story short, this guy made an account on my iPad so he got banned because of ‘smogon alts’. Taking his submission for myself, with his approval.

Name of Pokemon: Ampharos

New Moves (if any): Superpower, Bulk Up
Flavor (Optional): Instead of awakening a sleeping dragon inside it, this Mega stone revitalizes the spirit of a powerful warrior inside Ampharos, and its arms become buffer.
Competitive Description: Mega Ampharos X is a powerful physical attacker with Galvanize Return and Superpower as its main STABs. It can potentially set up with Bulk Up to sweep, and its typing combined with its physical bulk allow it to wall dangerous Pokemon like Scizor/Mega Scizor and Bisharp.

New Mega's Type:

Name of New Mega Stone [X or Y]: Banettite Y

Name of Pokemon: Audino
Name of New Mega Stone [X or Y]: Audinite Y
New Mega's Type: Fighting / Fairy
New Mega's Ability: Triage
New Mega's Stats: 103 / 90 (+30) / 106 (+20) / 90 (+30) / 106 (+20) / 50 (545 BST)
New Moves (if any): Moonlight, Bulk Up
Flavor (Optional): Audino still gives priority to being a healer, but in this form it focuses on healing itself. This change in focus results in Audino gradually becoming more and more selfish as it is Mega Evolved, caring less about healing others.
Competitive Description: This Mega Audino sacrifices bulk and the chance to heal allies' statuses in doubles for strength and an ability that lets it circumvent its lacking Speed stat. It can notably choose to utilize Calm Mind with Draining Kiss or Bulk Up with Drain Punch, which is boosted thanks to its unique Fighting/Fairy type combination. It can then run moves like Wish, Protect, Moonlight, Refresh and Heal Bell in its last slots to provide enough longevity for a full sweep. The lower bulk and extra weaknesses from its new typing prevent this Mega from being unstoppable, but it is still threatening and provides a fitting OU viable user of Triage.

Name of Pokemon: Banette
Name of New Mega Stone [X or Y]: Banettite Y
New Mega's Type: Ghost / Dark
New Mega's Ability: Voodoo (The user's contact moves have a 30% chance to inflict a Curse on the target)
New Mega's Stats: 64 / 140 (+25) / 95 (+30) / 83 / 83 (+20) / 90 (+25)
New Moves (if any): Swords Dance, Drain Punch
Flavor (Optional): This Mega's new power is fuelled by malevolent spirits that lend it their power in return for Banette's conscience.
Competitive Description: While not as strong as Mega Banette X and not having access to the utility of Prankster, Mega Banette Y provides something much more interesting; an offensive Ghost / Dark type. This typing leaves it weak to only Fairy, which gives it more setup opportunities than its fairly average bulk might suggest. It also provides access to a STAB Knock Off and Sucker Punch. Having a chance to afflict your opponent with a Curse is an extremely big boon for Mega Banette as it generally means a free 25% off on the target, easing the lack of a boosting item compared to other offensive mons in the meta. It also makes it much harder for defensive answers to try and take repeated hits. However, this Mega does have downsides; its Speed is still only average at best, and its bulk isn't exactly amazing meaning neutral hits will still sting.

Name of Pokemon: Ampharos
Name of New Mega Stone [X or Y]: Ampharosite X
New Mega's Type: Electric/Ice
New Mega's Ability: Refrigerate
New Mega's Stats: 90 / 125 (+50) / 120 (+35) / 140 (+25) / 100 (+10) / 35 (-20)
New Moves (if any): Hyper Voice, Earthquake
Flavor (Optional): Ampharos is buffed up and fluffed up by this Mega Evolution and stands on all fours, making it somewhat resemble a giant Mareep with Mega Ampharos Y's colourings. This form is a reversion back to Ampharos' rare and powerful ancestors during the Ice Age which were hunted to extinction by hungry Mamoswines.
Competitive Description: A tank that offers a unique niche in being the only viable Pokémon with BoltBeam STAB, which allows it to be extremely threatening under Trick Room. Its respectable Attack and moves such as Earthquake and Refrigerate Double-Edge allow it to function as a mixed attacker that is extremely hard to wall, as well as being fairly hard to take down thanks to its great Defenses. It still suffers the same problems as any TR sweeper, that being the short duration. Its typing, while great offensively, also leaves quite a lot to be desired defensively, meaning most teams will be able to take it down without many casualties outside of Trick Room.

New Moves (if any): U-Turn
Flavor (Optional): Mega Banette X opens the zipper. On the other hand, Mega Banette Y closes the zipper and stuffs itself with more fluffy plush doll filling.
Competitive Description: Reliable utility mon with Will-o-Wisp, Pain Split, Knock-Off, Destiny Bond, Pursuit, Thunder Wave, Taunt and newly gained U-Turn. Very solid defensive typing and ability, but not too strong because of lackluster HP stat and unreliable recovery in the form of Pain Split only.

New Mega's Type: Normal/Psychic
New Mega's Ability: Magic Guard
New Mega's Stats: 103/60/86/130/86/80
New Moves (if any):
Flavor (Optional): Mega Audino Y uses witchcraft and bloodmagic to cure other Pokemon.
Competitive Description: Mega Audino Y takes advantage of its great special movepool with its 130 base Special Attack. Its new typing gives it a strong STAB to use while Magic Guard prevents it from being worn down by passive damage.

Name of New Mega Stone [X or Y]: Banettite Y

As stated last slate, buffing slates will take place after all normal slates are done, so buffs to Audino X, Ampharos Y, and Banette X will have to wait. With that, on to the next slate!

Slate 4:

Mega Beedrill Y: Ability Limit of 4.5
Mega Blastoise X: Ability Limit of 4
Mega Camerupt X: Ability Limit of 4.5

Name of Pokemon: Beedrill
Name of New Mega Stone [X or Y]: Beedrillite Y
New Mega's Type:

New Mega's Ability: Thick Fat
New Mega's Stats: 65 / 120 / 80 / 15 / 110 / 105 = 495 BST (+30 Atk, +40 Def, -30 SpA, +30 SpD, +30 Spe)
New Moves (if any): Leech Life, Spikes
Flavor (Optional): Based on digger bees, Mega Beedrill Y grows a thick covering of fur that insulates it from attacks.
Competitive Description: Thick Fat removes two of its weaknesses and gives it some sense of bulk (for a Beedrill). It still has a good attack stat and Swords Dance, as well as a moderate speed stat. Its strongest STABs are Leech Life and Drill Run, so it might not do very much damage before setting up.

Name of Pokemon: Blastoise
Name of New Mega Stone [X or Y]: Blastoisinite X
New Mega's Type:

New Mega's Ability: Sheer Force
New Mega's Stats: 79 / 125 / 116 / 85 / 105 / 120 = 630 BST (+42 Atk, +16 Def, +42 Spe)
New Moves (if any): Iron Head, Superpower
Flavor (Optional): Blastoise's cannons reverse to point backward, and it hunkers down on all fours. Its cannons now jet water backwards with great power, shooting Blastoise forward like a missile, and Mega Blastoise X charges and rams opponents at high speed.
Competitive Description: Mega Blastoise X gains a helpful Steel typing for a second STAB, and Sheer Force boosts the power of its main STABs Liquidation and Iron Head. It also gains a massive speed boost.

Name of Pokemon: Camerupt
Name of New Mega Stone [X or Y]: Cameruptite X
New Mega's Type:

New Mega's Ability: Regenerator
New Mega's Stats: 70 / 150 / 90 / 105 / 75 / 70 = 560 BST (+50 Atk, +20 Def, +30 Spe)
New Moves (if any): Flare Blitz, Gunk Shot
Flavor (Optional): Inside the body of Mega Camerupt X, toxic gases emitted from the magma build up and can be used as a poisonous weapon. It fires this poison through its new double humps.
Competitive Description: Mega Camerupt X becomes part Poison type and a physical attacker with STAB Flare Blitz and Gunk Shot.

Name of Pokemon: Beedrill
Name of New Mega Stone [X or Y]: Beedrillite Y
New Mega's Type:

New Mega's Ability: Prankster
New Mega's Stats: 65 / 120 / 90 / 15 / 100 / 105 (+30 Atk, +50 Def, -30 SpA, +20 SpD, +30 Spe)
New Moves (if any): Destiny Bond, Taunt
Flavor (Optional): The sight of Mega Beedrill Y causes people to be suicidal. Cover your eyes when you encounter this Pokemon, or better yet, use a blindfold! Mega Beedrill Y is incredibly afraid of birds though, so pack a Flying-type to repel this creature.
Competitive Description: Beedrill has a plethora of status moves that it couldn't use due to its poor bulk. With added bulk and Prankster, it now can! It can be a utility mon with Toxic Spikes and Defog, and it can set-up with priority Swords Dance (screw Taunt). Priority Roost keeps it healthy over the course of the match. If Mega Beedrill Y has done its purpose in a match, it can even use Destiny Bond to get a cheap KO.

Name of Pokemon: Blastoise
Name of New Mega Stone [X or Y]: Blastoisinite X
New Mega's Type:

New Mega's Ability: Galvanize
New Mega's Stats: 79 / 143 / 115 / 85 / 130 / 78 (+60 Atk, +15 Def, +25 SpD)
New Moves (if any): Drain Punch, Double-Edge
Flavor (Optional): The Kanto Power Plant mutated Blastoise's genes which gives it Hydroelectric energy when exposed to Blastoisinite X.
Competitive Description: Wallbreak with Galvanize-boosted Returns/Double-Edges. It can also opt to run a dual-priority set with Aqua Jet and Galvanize Fake Out to pick off frail opponents. One of its unique traits is Electric Rapid Spin which hits its usual Ghost-type switch-ins. Even Ground types are not safe as it packs a powerful Liquidation to smack them. Drain Punch allows it to recover health, alleviating Blastoise's biggest issue.

Name of Pokemon: Camerupt
Name of New Mega Stone [X or Y]: Cameruptite X
New Mega's Type:

New Mega's Ability: Simple
New Mega's Stats: 70 / 140 / 110 / 105 / 95 / 40 (+40 Atk, +40 Def +20 SpD)
New Moves (if any): Accelerock, Flare Blitz
Flavor (Optional): Exhaustion from too many eruptions has left Camerupt simple. The lava spewn by Camerupt has hardened, turning them into Rock.
Competitive Description: One Simple Rock Polish allows Camerupt to outspeed the metagame. It can also set-up with Curse and Amnesia to exponentially boost its power and bulk. It can also be used on a Sun Team with Growth, which triples its offenses. Rock-typing allows to turn the tables on Pokemon that would have countered Mega Camerupt Y, such as Dragonite and Mantine.
