Mega Pinsir is a fearsome sweeper thanks to its high Attack stat, decent Speed stat, its ability Aerilate and access to Swords Dance. Return allows it to take care of Fighting-, Grass-, and opposing Bug-types such as Urshifu-R, Mega Venusaur, and Volcarona. Quick Attack is mainly for revenge killing faster Pokemon such as Mega Gallade and Keldeo. Close Combat enables Mega Pinsir to hit Steel-, Dark-, Ice-, Rock-, and Normal-types like Heatran, Hydreigon, Tyranitar, Kyurem, and Blissey. Mega Pinsir should try to setup against passive Pokemon such as Blissey and Ferrothorn and Pokemon it forces out like Tyranitar and Bisharp. Moxie or Hyper Cutter are both good pre-evoleuton abibtiys on Pinsir as the former allows it to gain a boost after KOing a Pokemon while the latter enables it to avoid having its attack lowered from Intimidate from Landorus-T. Pinsirite enables Pinsir to Mega Evolve into Mega Pinsir, and gains a Flying-typing along with Aerilite. A Jolly nature allows Mega Pinsir to outpace Pokemon such as Kyurem, Urshifu-R, and Celebi.

Pokemon like Galvantula and Araquanid are great to pair with Mega Pinsir to get up Sticky Web that enables Mega Pinsir to outpace faster threats such as Mega Gallade and Keldeo. Galvantula is also very useful in the Water-type matchup with using Thunder and Energy Ball to take care of Pokemon like Toxapex and Swampert that can Haze or phase out Mega Pinsir while Araquanid is more useful in coming in on Fire-type attacks from Torkoal, Blacephalon, and Volcarona and putting them on a timer with Toxic, or taking care of them with its Water STAB attack. Rapid Spin users like Forretress and Armaldo are necessary to get rid of Stealth Rock that hinders Mega Pinsir from repeatedly coming in. Forrtress can also provide Spikes support and can safely pivot in Mega Pinsir with Volt Switch. Both of these can set up Stealth Rock to make it easier for Mega Pinsir to sweep. Scizor is another great teammate that can take of Rock-types such as Terrakion and Mega Diancie that threaten Mega Pinsir, while also being vital in the Dragon-type matchup as a boosted Swords Dance Scizor can take care of fast threats like Latias, Latios, and Hydreigon with Bullet Punch after some chip damage. Volcarona is another vital teammate that greatly helps in the Steel-type matchup with using Fiery Dance and Hidden Power Ground to take care of Steel-types Mega Pinsir has trouble dealing with like Skarmory, Excadrill, and Heatran. Volcarona is also very helpful with dealing with Ice-types like Weavile and Avalugg that Mega Pinsir cannot beat. In return, Mega Pinsir can take care of Blissey for it while Volcarona can take care of Celesteela. Buzzwole is a great Choice Scarf user that greatly help in the Dragon-type matchup with Ice Punch and Leech Life, while its Fighting STAB is useful in taking care of fast Ice-, Electric-, and Fire-types such as Weavile, Tapu Koko, and Cinderace that outspeed Mega Pinsir. Heracross is another good Choice Scarf User that can Pursuit trap Victini, and take care of Ice-, Electric-, and Fire-types like Mamoswine, Zeraora, and Volcanion.

Earthquake can be used over Close Combat to allow Mega Pinsir to take care Aegislash and Heatran, but most often is not worthwhile due to falling short against Celesteela, and Rotom-W. Frustration can be used over Return to make happy Ditto do little damage. Facade can be used to become utilize Scald burns from Mantine and Toxapex that turns it to a threatening attack, but is not worthwhile most of the time due to Return doing more damage without status.

Mega Pinsir a fearsome wallbreaker and sweeper thanks to its high Attack stat, decent Speed stat, its ability Aerilate and setting up with Swords Dance. Return is it its main attack, allowing it to take care of Fighting-, Grass-, and opposing Bug-types such as Urshifu-S, Mega Venusaur, and Volcarona. Quick Attack is mainly for revenge killing faster Pokemon such as Mega Gallade and y[forgot to add the "y" example here]. Close Combat enables Mega Pinsir to hit Steel-, Dark-, Ice-,(AC) and Normal-types like Heatran, Tyranitar, Kyurem, and Blissey. Mega Pinsir should try to setup against passive Pokemon such as Blissey and Ferrothorn and Pokemon it forces out like Tyranitar and Bisharp. Its item Pinsirite enables Pinsir to Mega Evolve into Mega Pinsir, and gains a Flying-typing along with Aerilite. Having 252 Attack EVs makes Mega Pinsir as strong as possible and 252 Speed EVs with a Jolly nature allows Mega Pinsir to outpace Pokemon such as Kyurem, Urshifu-S, and Celebi.

Pokemon like Galvantula and Araquanid are great to pair with Mega Pinsir to get up Sticky Web that enables Mega Pinsir to outpace Mega Gallade and Keldeo. Galvantula is also very useful in the Water-type matchup with using Thunder and Energy ball[Capitilize the B] to take care of Pokemon like Toxapex and Swampert that can phaze out Mega Pinsir [Mention the moves that phazes Mega Pinsir out when referring to Toxapex and Swampert. I'd make the Galvantula and Araquanid points separate aswell]. while Araquanid is more useful in coming in on Fire-type attacks from Torkoal, Balcephalon, and Volcarona and putting them on a timer with Toxic, or take care of them with its Water STAB attack. Rapid Spin users like Forretress and Armaldo are a nesstivity to get rid of Stealth Rock that hinders Mega Pinsir from repeatly repeatedly coming in. Both of these can set up Stealth Rock to make it easier for Mega Pinsir to sweep. Scizor is another great teammate that can take of Terrakion and Mega Diancie, while also being vital in the Dragon-type matchup as a boosted Swords Dance Scizor can take care of Latias, Latios, and Hydreigon with Bullet Punch after some chip damage. Volcarona is another vital teammate that greatly helps in the Steel-type matchup with using Fiery Dance[Change this to Fire-type attacks or Fire STAB attacks instead] and Hidden Power Ground to take care of Steel- and Ice-types Mega Pinsir has trouble dealing with like Skarmory, Excadrill, Avalugg and Weavile[I'd mention Heatran in the examples here since you mentioned Hidden Power Ground as a target to steel Pokemon whereas Skarm & Exca dies to Fiery Dance] . Buzzwole is a great Choice Scarf user that greatly help in the Dragon-type matchup with Ice Punch and Leech Life, while its Fighting STAB is useful in taking care of fast Ice-, Electric-, and Fire-types such as Weavile, Tapu Koko, and Cinderace.

Earthquake can be used over Close Combat to make Mega Pinsir take care Aegislash and Heatran, but is not worthwhile due to not being able to do good damage against Tyranitar, Celesteela, and Rotom-W.

* Mention Frustration over Return
* Mention Facade to make use of status/Scald-burn from Pokemon like Toxapex and Mantine

Checks and Counters
===================

Bug
--------

**Rock-types**: Rock-types such as Mega Diance, Terrakion, and Nihilego all outpace Mega Pinsir and take care of it with their STAB attacks.

**Electric-types**: Fast Electric-types like Tapu Koko, Alolan Raichu, and Zeraora can OHKO Mega Pinsir with their attacks.

**Ice-types**: Ice-types like Alolan Ninetales, Weavile, and Galarian Darmanitan can take care of Mega Pinsir with their super effective attacks.

**Fire-types**: Fire-types like Cinderace, Mega Charizard Y, and Victini(AC) and OHKO Mega Pinsir with their respective STAB attacks.

[I'd honestly just make a section for "Super Effective Attacks" the one-liners seems pretty straight forward and grouping them seems less excessive maybe]

**Stealth Rock**: Once Mega Evolved, Mega Pinsir will take 50% of its HP to Stealth Rock, and greatly hinders it from switching in.

**Physical Walls**: Physical walls such as Skarmory, Toxapex, and Galarian Weezing all can safely come in on Mega Pinsir's attack and either phaze it out [with what? list some examples in correlation to how you listed the counter/checks] or use Will-O-Wisp or Toxic to hinder it.

Mega Pinsir is a fearsome wallbreaker and sweeper thanks to its high Attack stat, decent Speed stat, its ability Aerilate and setting up with access to Swords Dance which boosts its Attack stat. Return is it its main STAB Flying-type attack, allowing it to take care of Fighting-, Grass-, and opposing Bug-types such as Urshifu-S, Mega Venusaur, and Volcarona. Quick Attack is mainly for revenge killing faster Pokemon such as Mega Gallade and y[forgot to add the "y" example here]. Close Combat enables Mega Pinsir to hit [Add Rock and an example of a Rock-type, Rock and Steel are the most important since they resist Return] Steel-, Dark-, Ice-,(AC) and Normal-types like Heatran, Tyranitar, Kyurem, and Blissey. Mega Pinsir should try to setup against passive Pokemon such as Blissey and Ferrothorn and Pokemon it forces out like Tyranitar and Bisharp. Both of these can set up Stealth Rock to make it easier for Mega Pinsir to sweep. Volcarona is another vital teammate that greatly helps in the Steel-type matchup with using Fiery Dance and Hidden Power Ground to take care of Steel- and Ice-types Mega Pinsir has trouble dealing with like Skarmory, Excadrill, Avalugg and Weavile [Reword this sentence, first mention Fire STAB + HP Ground deal with Steel-types and HP Ground hits Heatran. In a new sentence mention that Volcarona can also help against Ice-types that threaten Mega Pinsir, give examples. Add that they also deal with each other's checks, for examples Mega Pinsir deals with Blissey for Volcarona while Volcarona deals with Celesteela/Skarmory for Mega Pinsir]. Buzzwole is a great Choice Scarf user [Mention Heracross as a Choice Scarf user too] that greatly help in the Dragon-type matchup with Ice Punch and Leech Life, while its Fighting STAB is useful in taking care of fast Ice-, Electric-, and Fire-types such as Weavile, Tapu Koko, and Cinderace that outspeed Mega Pinsir.

**Electric-types**: Fast Electric-types like Tapu Koko, Alolan Raichu, and Zeraora can OHKO Mega Pinsir with their super effective STAB attacks. [Mention that they also resist Return and Quick Attack]

[Electric-types can have its own category since they're super effective + Pinsir has no coverage to hit them for supereffective damage. Ice, Rock and Fire can come under Super Effective Attacks as Roxiee mentioned]

**Stealth Rock**: Once Mega Evolved, Mega Pinsir will take lose 50% of its HP to Stealth Rock on switch in, and which greatly hinders its ability to reliably switch in multiple times. from switching in.

[SET]
- ability should be Moxie / Hyper Cutter (it's the pre mega). former allows u to rack a boost before u mega, and latter bypasses intimidate

[SET COMMENTS]
- take away "boosts its Attack stat" in the first sentence. obvious thing sd does
- similarly, get rid of return's desc (it's obvious too)
- for cc, just say it hits rocks/steels/certain electrics that resist return. everything else you mentioned is hit hard by return
- remove the attack evs desc (p obvious)
- "252 Speed EVs with a Jolly nature" -> "a Jolly nature"
- add a desc for both of its useful pre-mega abilities

- shorten Galvantula and Araquanid side descs. say Galvantula is useful in the water/fly mus because of its coverage, while Araquanid checks threatening fire-types (give examples) with water bubble
- remove "rapid spin users such as..."; Forretress and Armaldo are the only things removing anyway
- "Scizor is another great teammate that can take care of Rock-types such as Terrakion and Mega Diancie". mention ice-types as well in this phrase
- remove the Dragon matchup part; regular isn't ever running sd sets since mega just does them much better
- rework the Volcarona part. you should say Volcarona takes care of certain Steel-types / physical walls (skarmory, avalugg, zapdos) while Mega Pinsir helps it by removing special walls
- just say Buzzwole is a revenge killer that takes care of faster Pokemon that outspeed Mega Pinsir. no need to have that Dragon matchup part
- "Heracross is another good Choice Scarf User ... Zeraora, and Volcanion." -> "Similarly, Heracross is another good Choice Scarf User that is able to Pursuit trap weakened threats like Victini and (example)."

==== OO ====

- Close Combat nails Heatran too; instead, mention Earthquake allows it to do more damage to Toxapex
