[OVERVIEW]
Psychic
========

Slowbro's high Defense and Water typing makes it a good defensive pivot on Psychic teams, able to easily check threats such as Diggersby and Excadrill. In addition, Slowbro's ability Regenerator complements its role as a defensive pivot by healing it every time it chooses to switch out, extending its longevity throughout the battle. Furthermore, upon Mega Evolution, Slowbro's massive Defense and access to Calm Mind allow it to serve as a potent wincon late-game, and its ability, Shell Armor, supports its ability to sweep with Calm Mind by protecting it from critical hits. Slowbro also helps in the Steel matchup because it is a good switch-in to Excadrill and can threaten many Steel-type Pokemon such as Mega Scizor and Ferrothorn with Fire Blast and Heatran with Scald. Mega Slowbro also does well in matchups such as Poison, as it is able to directly take on every Poison-type with Calm Mind-boosted Psychic and takes little damage from Alolan Muk's attacks while removing it with Scald. However, despite its high physical bulk, Slowbro's Special Defense stat is lackluster, leaving it open to many special attackers such as Latios and Landorus. Being a Water-type leaves Slowbro weak to Electric- and Grass-type attacks, a trait exploited by common metagame threats such as Tapu Koko and Tapu Bulu. Mega Slowbro is vulnerable to status conditions, namely Toxic, which greatly hinders its role as a setup sweeper, and it faces competition from other Mega Evolutions on Psychic such as Mega Latias and Mega Gallade, with the former punching holes in types such as Normal and the latter doing well in matchups such as Water and Flying.

Moves
========

Scald is Slowbro's main attack and can cripple physical attackers like Gyarados and Mega Lopunny with a burn. Slack Off is a form of reliable recovery and is used to ensure that Slowbro stays healthy throughout the battle. Thunder Wave is used to cripple fast Pokemon that cannot otherwise be beaten through Scald and Slack Off like Hydreigon, Greninja, and Latios. Fire Blast is used to hit Steel- and Grass-type Pokemon like Scizor, Bisharp, and Ferrothorn.

Set Details
========

Maximum HP and Defense EVs along with a Bold nature are used in order to let Slowbro serve as an effective physical wall. Colbur Berry is the preferred item on Slowbro, as it gives Slowbro the ability to take a Dark-type attack, which can be crucial when checking huge threats like Mega Sharpedo and Bisharp. A huge reason why Slowbro is an effective pivot lies in its ability Regenerator, which keeps it healthy throughout the duration of the game by healing it a bit every time it switches out.

Usage Tips
========

Send Slowbro in to soak up physical attacks like Mega Lopunny's Return and Excadrill's Earthquake and shield your other Pokemon from getting damaged. Use Slowbro as a pivot that can consistently heal itself with Slack Off and Regenerator. If Slowbro gets hit with a very strong attack, switch it back out in order to keep it healthy. Utilize Regenerator throughout the battle by constantly switching out Slowbro to keep its HP high. Because of the aforementioned reason, Slowbro is great for soaking up moves like U-turn. Avoid Toxic users such as Porygon2 and Gastrodon, as being badly poisoned wears Slowbro down and hinders its ability to check physical attackers reliably. In some situations, using Thunder Wave twice in a row is recommended, when the opposing player may switch a check directly into Slowbro, in order to cripple the Pokemon that is sent out. Use Scald frequently in order to inflict burns and wear down bulky Pokemon such as Toxapex and Celesteela. Preserve Slowbro's Colbur Berry until it is necessary to check Dark-type Pokemon, most notably Mega Sharpedo and Bisharp, later in the game. Use Thunder Wave in order to cripple Pokemon that cannot otherwise be beaten through using Slack Off and Scald such as Mega Lopunny and Mega Sharpedo. Thunder Wave is also useful in situations where you would need to cripple faster Pokemon such as Mega Sharpedo and Mega Pidgeot, while fishing for burns with Scald would be more useful against physical attackers or bulky Pokemon that can be crippled or worn down by burn such as Garchomp and Celesteela. Be wary of Taunt users like Mega Gyarados looking to shut Slowbro down; use Scald on a predicted Taunt in order to fish for burns, crippling the opposing Pokemon.

Team Options
========

Choice Scarf Victini is a good partner for Slowbro, as it takes care of many of Slowbro's offensive checks such as Tapu Koko and Tapu Bulu. When using a Choice Band, Victini can break past Slowbro's defensive checks such as Chansey and Porygon2. Victini will often need to switch out sooner or later because of V-create and U-turn, and Slowbro is an excellent partner for Victini to pivot out to, being able to switch into Water- and Ground-type Pokemon such as Mega Swampert and Excadrill for Victini. Choice Scarf Latios is able to offensively check many of Slowbro's checks such as Hydreigon and Blacephalon. Similarly to Victini, Choice Specs Latios can also beat defensive Pokemon that Slowbro struggles against. Latios also checks Grass- and Electric-types that would otherwise threaten Slowbro. Latios and Latias pair well with Slowbro for their Defog support, being able to remove Toxic Spikes and other hazards, while Latias is also able to heal Slowbro with Healing Wish. Celebi supports Slowbro using its Grass typing, which allows it to switch into Electric- and Grass-type attacks for Slowbro. Celebi can also use U-turn to pivot into Slowbro and can absorb Toxic poison with Natural Cure. Mega Latias pairs well defensively with Slowbro because Slowbro's physical bulk protects Mega Latias from strong wallbreakers such as Excadrill and Mega Lopunny that may threaten Mega Latias before it sets up with Calm Mind. Mega Gallade can beat defensive Pokemon such as Chansey and Porygon2 for Slowbro. Slowbro can also use Thunder Wave to slow down opposing threats such as Greninja that could otherwise check Mega Gallade. Jirachi forms a solid defensive core with Slowbro, since it appreciates Slowbro's ability to switch into Fire-type attacks aimed at Jirachi, while Jirachi can switch into special attackers such as Latios and Mega Diancie that threaten Slowbro thanks to its Steel typing. Mew is a good partner for Slowbro because it beats Slowbro's defensive checks with Knock Off and Taunt and can also run Defog, which is especially good because it clears hazards such as Toxic Spikes that can threaten Slowbro's health. Offensive Mew sets also appreciate the speed control that comes from Slowbro's Thunder Wave, which can cripple fast threats and pave the way for Mew to sweep.

[SET]
name: Calm Mind Mega (Psychic)
move 1: Calm Mind
move 2: Slack Off
move 3: Scald
move 4: Psychic
item: Slowbronite
ability: Regenerator
nature: Bold
evs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD

[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
========

Calm Mind is Mega Slowbro's main form of setup, raising its Special Attack and Special Defense in order to sweep. Slack Off acts as Mega Slowbro's reliable recovery and works in tandem with Calm Mind in order to let it set up safety and heal off damage. Scald is Slowbro's most spammable attack and is useful for crippling physical attackers and wearing down Pokemon. Psychic allows Mega Slowbro to hit Poison-type Pokemon super effectively and is used over Psyshock in order to hit Toxapex harder.

Set Details
========

Maximum HP and Defense EVs with a Bold nature ensure that Mega Slowbro will be able to take physical hits comfortably after Mega Evolving, notably Choice Band Diggersby's Return, and safely boost with Calm Mind. Slowbro Mega Evolves through Slowbronite, increasing its Defense and Special Attack. Regenerator is the preferred ability before Mega Evolving because it allows Slowbro to serve as a defensive pivot. Shell Armor, Mega Slowbro's ability, protects Mega Slowbro from critical hits.

Usage Tips
========

Before Mega Evolution, utilize Slowbro as a defensive pivot that can heal itself with Slack Off and Regenerator. Be aware that Mega Slowbro loses Regenerator once it Mega Evolves. Thus, it is best to hold off on Mega Evolving and setting up until Mega Slowbro's checks and counters like Mantine and Tapu Koko have been removed. Mega Evolving Slowbro is also a good idea if the extra bulk is needed to check a certain threat that Slowbro wouldn't be able to otherwise such as Choice Band Diggersby or Dragonite. Take advantage of Pokemon Choice-locked into a move that does not threaten Mega Slowbro such as Victini's V-Create and Landorus-T's Earthquake in order to freely use Calm Mind. Try to remove entry hazards such as Toxic Spikes and Spikes before Slowbro comes in, as the former will leave Slowbro poisoned, putting a timer on it, and the latter will slowly wear it down when it switches in, hurting Slowbro's ability to switch into threats. Spikes aren't a huge threat to Slowbro until it has Mega Evolved, though, as then it cannot regenerate the chip damage caused by them as easily anymore. Steer Slowbro away from Toxic users like Porygon2, as being badly poisoned impedes its ability to set up and sweep. Similarly, in matchups such as Normal where Slowbro will be threatened by Toxic users, it is best to use it to bait burns or paralysis so that it cannot be affected by Toxic any longer. In matchups where Mega Slowbro does not have many setup opportunities, such as Fairy with Tapu Koko and Tapu Bulu, prioritize attacking and fishing for burns with Scald over trying to set up.

Team Options
========

Victini in particular is a good partner for Mega Slowbro, as its Choice Scarf set helps keep faster foes in check and beats Pokemon such as Tapu Koko, while its Choice Band set serves as an effective wallbreaker that can punch holes in Pokemon that Mega Slowbro struggles against such as Chansey, Mantine, and Mega Venusaur. Mega Slowbro is also able to switch into Pokemon like Excadrill and Diggersby that could potentially harm Victini in return. Latios pairs well with Mega Slowbro because it can Defog away entry hazards, mainly Toxic Spikes, and it can support Mega Slowbro through the power it packs with its offensive Life Orb and Soul Dew sets. Latias, like Latios, is also able to support Mega Slowbro by checking many Pokemon that threaten it, such as Choice Scarf Heracross and Hydreigon, while also giving Mega Slowbro more setup opportunities by healing it with Healing Wish. Additionally, using Latias and Latios along with Slowbro can confuse the opposing player as to which Mega Evolution you are actually using. Mew is a good partner for Mega Slowbro because it is able to deal with many of Mega Slowbro's defensive checks by using Taunt and Knock Off with its stallbreaker set and use Defog to remove hazards such as Toxic Spikes that may potentially damage Mega Slowbro. Jirachi can switch into special attackers such as Latios and Mega Diancie thanks to its high Special Defense and can also heal Mega Slowbro with Healing Wish; in return, Mega Slowbro is able to protect Jirachi from physical attackers such as Excadrill and Garchomp.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

Rocky Helmet can be used on Slowbro instead of a Colbur Berry because of its ability to punish physical attackers, and Leftovers is an option to increase Slowbro's overall longevity; however, not using a Colbur Berry hinders Slowbro's ability to check Dark-type Pokemon such as Mega Sharpedo well. Ice Beam is an option over Thunder Wave to hit Dragon- and Flying-type Pokemon such as Dragonite and Garchomp; however, dropping Thunder Wave means that Slowbro cannot cripple Pokemon such as Mega Sharpedo and Hydreigon by spreading paralysis. An Iron Defense / Calm Mind / Scald / Rest set can be used, as Iron Defense lets Mega Slowbro wall setup sweepers such as Gyarados, Calm Mind raises its Special Defense, and Rest makes it immune to status, making Mega Slowbro very hard to knock out after it accumulates a few boosts. However, Rest makes Mega Slowbro vulnerable to attacks while it sleeps. Psyshock can be used over Psychic to hit more specially defensive Pokemon such as Mantine, although most specially defensive Pokemon have ways of dealing with Mega Slowbro, like Haze in Mantine's case.

Checks and Counters
===================

Psychic
--------

**Electric-types**: Electric-type Pokemon such as Tapu Koko, Magnezone, and Alolan Raichu deal immense damage to Slowbro with their STAB attacks and can grab momentum using Volt Switch.

**Grass-types**: Grass-type Pokemon such as Mega Venusaur, Tapu Bulu, and Celebi threaten Slowbro with their Grass-type attacks, although some of them such as Breloom and Ferrothorn can't afford to get hit by Fire Blast.

**Bug-types**: Bug-type Pokemon such as Scizor, Heracross, and Volcarona threaten Slowbro with their STAB attacks. However, most Bug-type Pokemon are afraid of getting hit by Fire Blast or Thunder Wave.

**Special Wallbreakers**: Special wallbreakers such as Gengar, Blacephalon, and Hydreigon do immense damage to Slowbro because of its poor special bulk. However, Mega Slowbro is able to take on special attackers after boosting several times with Calm Mind.

**Toxic**: Toxic users such as Gastrodon, Chansey, and Swampert wear Slowbro down by using badly poisoning it with Toxic. Being badly poisoned puts Mega Slowbro on a timer, preventing it from sweeping late-game.

**Specially Defensive Pokemon**: Specially defensive Pokemon such as Mantine, Zapdos, and Chansey wall non-Calm Mind Slowbro, while Mega Slowbro cannot do much in return due to Toxic and Haze making an attempt to sweep futile.

**Haze and Phazers**: Pokemon such as Toxapex and Mantine that carry Haze check Mega Slowbro by wiping out its stat boosts, while phazers such as Whirlwind Skarmory and Roar Swampert force Mega Slowbro to switch and remove its stat boosts.

**Taunt**: Taunt users such as Mew and Hydreigon lock Slowbro into attacking moves, which means it cannot heal itself with Slack Off, cripple Pokemon with Thunder Wave, or set up with Calm Mind.

[OVERVIEW]
Psychic
========

* Mega Slowbro supports huge defensive bulk, with 95 HP and 180 Defense. Therefore, it is able to naturally check a variety of physical attackers from Landorus-Therain and Dragonite to Mega Lopunny and Excadrill, and allows Mega Slowbro to take some super effective hits such as Bisharp's Knock Off, Mega Scizor's Bug Bite, and Tapu Bulu's Wood Hammer by using just its sheer bulk.
* Before Mega Evolving, Slowbro is gifted with a very useful ability in Regenerator, allowing itself to support team as a defensive pivot before Mega Evolving and aiming to sweep with Calm Mind.
* Upon Mega Evolution, Mega Slowbro gets Shell Armor, an ability that supports Mega Slowbro's ability to sweep with Calm Mind by protecting it from critical hits. This makes Mega Slowbros job as a win condition much more reliable.
* Being part Water-type provides Mega Slowbro with many useful resistances such as Water, Fire, and Steel that make dealing with threats like Mega Swampert, Mega Charizard X, and Jirachi easier.
* Mega Slowbro has a decent utility movepool containing Calm Mind, Iron Defense, and Thunder Wave. Calm Mind and Iron Defense are used to sweep late game, while Thunder Wave cripples threats by paralyzing them. Mega Slowbro also has access to decent special coverage. Fire Blast and Flamethrower can be used to hit Steel-type and Grass-type Pokemon, Ice Beam can be used to deal with Dragon- and Flying-type Pokemon, and Grass Knot surprises Pokemon such as Gastrodon, Swampert, and Seismitoad that may want to switch into Slowbro.
* Despite its high physical bulk, Mega Slowbro's Special Defense stat is lackluster, leaving it open to many special attackers such as Latios and Landorus.
* Slowbro synergizes with a lot of Psychic Pokemon, using its physical bulk to serve as a pivot and therefore protect other Pokemon.
* Mega Slowbro is vulnerable to status conditions, namely Toxic, which greatly hinders its role as a setup sweeper when badly poisoned and makes a sweep much more harder, if not impossible, to achieve.
* Mega Slowbro, being a Mega Evolution, faces competition from other Mega Evolutions on Psychic such as Mega Latias and Mega Gallade for the Mega Evolution slot.
* Mega Slowbro loses Regenerator upon Mega Evolution, leaving the player the responsibility to Mega Evolve Slowbro in a position where it does not need Regenerator anymore.
* Setup opportunities can sometimes be very rare for Mega Slowbro, as the opponent will most likely keep a few of its checks alive to ensure that it will not sweep. Therefore, Mega Slowbro can drain momentum when one of its checks or counters switches in on it.
* Being a Water-type leaves Mega Slowbro weak to Electric- and Grass-type attacks, a trait commonly exploited by common metagame threats such as Tapu Koko and Tapu Bulu. It also stacks a Dark-, Bug-, and Ghost-type weakness on Psychic teams.
* Mega Slowbro's low speed ensures that it will be outsped most of the time.

* Scald is Slowbro's Water attack and has a useful burn chance that Slowbro can use to cripple Pokemon.
* Slack Off is Slowbro's main form of reliable recovery, and is used to ensure that Slowbro stays healthy throughout the battle.
* Thunder Wave is used to cripple fast Pokemon like Mega Sharpedo, Greninja and Tapu Bulu and is used as a form of speed control.
* Toxic can be used over Thunder Wave to wear down bulky walls such as Porygon2 and Zapdos. However, by not using Thunder Wave Slowbro loses out on the ability to directly cripple faster threats such as Mega Sharpedo and Mega Lopunny.
* Fire Blast can be used in the last slot to hit Steel- and Grass-type Pokemon like Ferrothorn, Mega Scizor, and Bisharp.
* Ice Beam can be used in the same slot to hit Flying- and Dragon-type Pokemon such as Dragonite and Hydreigon.
* Grass knot is an option on Slowbro in order to surprise Pokemon like Seismitoad, Gastrodon, and Mega Sharpedo.

Set Details
========

* Colbur Berry is the preferred item on Slowbro as it gives Slowbro the ability to take a Dark-type attack, which can be crucial when checking huge threats in Mega Sharpedo, Bisharp, and many other Dark-type Pokemon.
* Regenerator is the best ability on Slowbro because it can keep Slowbro healthy by switching out.
* Maximum Defense EVs and HP EVs along with a Bold nature are used in order to let Slowbro serve as an effective physical pivot.
* The 4 EVs are dumped into Special Defense to support Slowbro's low special bulk.

Usage Tips
========

* Send Slowbro in to soak up physical attacks and therefore shield your other Pokemon from getting damaged.
* Switch Slowbro out constantly so that it will replenish its health and therefore keep itself healthy with Regenerator.
* Avoid Toxic users with Slowbro, and switch Slowbro out if you suspect that the opposing Pokemon may be carrying Toxic. Being badly Poison puts a timer on Slowbro and hinders its ability to check physical attackers reliably.
* In some situations, using Thunder Wave twice is recommended when the opposing player may switch a check directly into Slowbro, in order to cripple the Pokemon that is sent out.
* Use Scald constantly in order to inflict burns and wear down bulky Pokemon such as Toxapex and Celesteela for later on in the game.
* Use Slack Off constantly in order to keep Slowbro healthy.
* Utilize the Colbur Berry so that Slowbro is able to check Dark-type Pokemon most notably Mega Sharpedo and Bisharp later in the game. Do not recklessly use it so that it will be eaten before said Pokemon gets checked.
* Use Thunder Wave in order to cripple Pokemon such as Mega Lopunny and Mega Sharpedo by lowering their Speed. Using Thunder Wave on a slower Pokemon is also doable if being paralyzed will make it easier to take down through being immobilized.
* Status moves such as Thunder Wave and Toxic can be used twice if you suspect a double switch. Doing so leaves the Pokemon that switches in with a status condition.
* Use attacking moves, most likely Scald, on predicted Taunt users such as Mew to inflict a burn on said stallbreaker.
Team Options
========

* Victini is a good partner for Slowbro as it takes care of many Slowbro's offensive checks such as Tapu Koko and Tapu Bulu with a Choice Scarf and Slowbro's defensive checks such as Chansey and Mantine with a Choice Band. Slowbro, in return, is able to switch into Water- and Ground-type Pokemon such as Mega Swampert and Excadrill for Victini.
* Latios is able to offensively check many of Slowbro's checks such as Hydreigon and Tapu Koko with a Choice Scarf. Similarly to Victini, it can also break down Slowbro's Defensive checks with Choice Specs. Latios also provides a Grass and Electric resistance that can be useful for switching into Grass- and Electric-type Pokemon and attacks that would otherwise threaten Slowbro.
* Jirachi forms a defensive core with Slowbro since it appreciate's Slowbro's high defense and Water typing that lets Slowbro switch into Fire- type attacks for Jirachi. Slowbro, in return, appreciates Jirachi's special bulk and Steel-typing, which is a good switchin for Special Attackers such as Latios and Mega Diancie that threaten Slowbro because of its low special bulk.
* Mew is a good partner for Slowbro because it can break down Slowbro's defensive checks with Knock Off and Taunt. Mew can also run Defog, which is especially good because it clears hazards such as Toxic Spikes and keeps Slowbro healthy. Offensive Mew sets also appreciate the speed control that comes from Slowbro's Thunder Wave, being able to cripple fast threats and pave the way for Mew to sweep.
* Mega Gardevoir pairs well with Slowbro because it can knock out Dark-type Pokemon such as Hydreigon that Slowbro fears.Slowbro offers speed control through Thunder Wave, and is also able to support Mega Gardevoir by switching in on any physical attackers such as Dragonite and Landorus-Therain that may knock Mega Gardevoir out due to its poor defense.

* A Rocky Helmet can be used on Slowbro because of its ability to punish physical attackers, but not using a Colbur Berry hinders Slowbro's ability to check Dark-type Pokemon such as Mega Sharpedo well.
* Leftovers can be used for longevity, but Colbur Berry is the better option for checking Dark-type Pokemon more reliably.
* Calm Mind is an option on Slowbro for setting up and serving as a wincon, however without Mega Slowbro's improved bulk, Slowbro ends up getting forced out to often and proves a sweep ineffective.

* Scald is Slowbro's Water attack, has a chance to burn and is useful for crippling physical attackers and wearing down Pokemon.
* Slack Off is Mega Slowbro's form of reliable recovery and works in tandem with Calm Mind in order to let Mega Slowbro set up safety and heal off damage.
* Calm Mind is Mega Slowbro's main form of setup, raising its Special Attack and Special Defense to extreme levels in order to sweep.
* Flamethrower is a coverage option that can be used on Mega Slowbro to hit Steel- and Grass-type Pokemon for super effective damage.
* Psyshock is another option which hits Poison-type Pokemon such as Toxapex and Mega Venusaur for super effective damage, while hitting Pokemon that Scald is less effective against such as Mantine and Suicune.
* Iron Defense is a move that works well with Calm Mind. The point of using Iron Defense + Calm Mind together is to make Mega Slowbro very bulky on both sides and impossible to break, although missing out on a coverage option can sometimes be beneficial to Mega Slowbro.

Set Details
========

* Slowbro Mega Evolves through Slowbronite, increasing its Defense and Special Attack.
* Regenerator is the preferred ability because it allows Slowbro to serve as a defensive pivot before Mega Evolving.
* Max Defense and HP with a Bold nature ensures that Mega Slowbro will be able to take physical hits comfortably and therefore with Calm Mind.
* The 4 EVs are dumped into Special Defense to support its lackluster special bulk.

Usage Tips
========
* Before Mega Evolution, utilitze Slowbro as a defensive pivot that can heal itself with Slack Off and Regenerator. Be aware that Mega Slowbro loses Regenerator once it Mega Evolves, and therefore does not gain any passive recovery through switching out after Mega Evolution.
* Do not Mega Evolve and set up with Calm Mind until Mega Slowbro's checks and counters have been removed. However, sometimes it is better to use Calm Mind to force a Pokemon out. In that case, do not Mega Evolve Slowbro as you will most likely be switching out when the check comes in.
* Mega Evolve Slowbro when its checks and counters have been knocked out or worn down. Mega Evolving Slowbro is also a good idea if the extra bulk is needed to check a certain threat.
* It is a good idea to use Calm Mind in front of choice locked Pokemon such as Victini, Dragonite, and Landorus that cannot do reasonable damage to Mega Slowbro. This will ensure that Mega Slowbro will get to use Calm Mind multiple times safety.
* Try to remove entry hazards such as Toxic Spikes and Spikes before Slowbro comes in, the former will leave Slowbro poisoned, putting a timer on it and the latter slowly wears Slowbro down upon switchin, making Slowbro's ability to switch into threats sometimes shaky.
* Steer away from Toxic users with Mega Slowbro, as being badly poisoned renders its ability to set up and sweep, as it will need to switch out often in order to keep itself from being worn down.
* Use Scald to throw off burns, even when you can't sweep. This allows Mega Slowbro wear down opponents for later in the game.
* When Mega Slowbro does not have many setup opportunities in a game, make use of its coverage options to take down opponents.
* Switch Mega Slowbro out of its checks and counters in order to avoid getting knocked out.
* Use Scald on predicted Taunt users such as Mew to inflict burn on them.

Team Options
========

* Victini is an excellent partner for Mega Slowbro because it can beat Mega Slowbro's offensive checks such as Tapu Koko and Tapu Bulu with a Choice Scarf and break down Mega Slowbro's defensive checks such as Mantine, Chansey, and Zapdos using a Choice Band.
* Latios pairs well with Mega Slowbro as it can Defog away hazards, namely Toxic Spikes and can check Mega Slowbro's offensive checks such as Tapu Koko and Hydreigon with a Choice Scarf.
* Mew is a good partner for Mega Slowbro because its able to deal with many of its defensive checks by using Taunt and Knock Off with its stallbreaker set, while being able to use Defog to remove hazards that may potentially damage Mega Slowbro such as Toxic Spikes which may let it potentially sweep.
* Latias, like Latios, is also able to support Mega Slowbro by checking many Pokemon that threaten it, such as Tapu Koko and Hydreigon, while also giving Mega Slowbro more setup oppurtunities by healing it with Healing Wish. Additionally, using Latias and Latios along with Slowbro is able to confuse the opposing player which Mega Evolution Psychic team is actually using.
* Jirachi is a good defensive teammate for Mega Slowbro. It's Steel typing lets it switch into Grass-type Pokemon that may threaten Mega Slowbro, and its high Special Defense lets it switch into special attackers such as Latios and Mega Diancie that may try to badly damage Mega Slowbro with their Special Attacks, while in return Mega Slowbro is able to protect Jirachi from physical attackers such as Excadrill and Bisharp that threaten Jirachi with Earthquake and Knock Off respectively. Jirachi, like Latias, can also use Healing Wish to support Mega Slowbro by healing it.

Psychic
--------
* A Rest + Sleep Talk set can be used to avoid status while setting up with Calm Mind, but being asleep leaves Mega Slowbro open to opposing threats and Sleep Talk is very unreliable.
* A Slack Off + 3 attacks set can be used with Scald, Ice Beam, and Flamethrower, but not having Calm Mind neuters Mega Slowbro's ability to set up and sweep late game.
* Toxic can be used over Calm Mind or a coverage option in order to catch Mega Slowbro's switchins off gaurd such as Mantine and Rotom Wash, but giving up Calm Mind neglects the main reason to use Mega Slowbro as a setup sweeper and dropping a coverage option will result in Mega Slowbro getting walled out by certain Pokemon.
*A Trick Room set can be used with Slack Off, Scald, and Flamethrower on Trick Room Psychic teams, but Trick Room Psychic is not a consistent archetype which deems Trick Room Mega Slowbro unnecessary.

**Electric-types**: Electric-type Pokemon such as Tapu Koko, Zapdos, and Rotom Wash force Mega Slowbro out with their Electric-type attacks, while using Mega Slowbro's incoming switch to grab momentum with U-Turn or Volt Switch.

**Grass-types**: Grass-type Pokemon such as Breloom, Tapu Bulu, and Mega Venusaur threaten Mega Slowbro with their Grass-type attacks, although they must be careful about getting hit with a Fire Blast, Ice Beam, or getting paralyzed by Thunder Wave.

**Dark-Types** Dark-type Pokemon such as Hydreigon and Mega Sharpedo threaten Slowbro with their Dark-type attacks, however they must be careful of getting paralyzed by Slowbro's Thunder Wave.

**Special Wallbreakers** Speicial wallbreakers such as Latios and Porygon-Z do immense damage to Mega Slowbro because of its poor special bulk. However, Mega Slowbro gradually fears special wallbreakers less when it uses Calm Mind a decent amount of times.

**Ghost-types** Ghost-type Pokemon such as Gengar and Blacephalon threaten Mega Slowbro with their Ghost-type attacks. However, many Ghost-type Pokemon do not enjoy taking a Scald or Psyshock, as most of them have poor bulk.

**Bug-types** Bug-type Pokemon such as Scizor and Heracross punch holes in Mega Slowbro using their Bug-type attacks. However, not many Bug-type Pokemon enjoy taking Flamethrower or being crippled with Thunder Wave.

**Toxic Users** Toxic users such as Gastrodon, Chansey, and Swampert wear Mega Slowbro down by using badly poisoning it with Toxic. Being badly poisoned puts Mega Slowbro on a timer. This is particularly bad for Calm Mind, as it makes the chances of Mega Slowbro sweeping very slim because of the need to switch out very often to keep itself healthy.

**Specially Defensive Pokemon** Specially Defensive Walls such as Mantine, Zapdos, and Chansey wall Mega Slowbro while Mega Slowbro cannot do much in return due to their high Special Defense stats.
This analysis is going to need some work before this can be checked. Currently there is literally just way too much writing without enough of a focus on what exactly is important about Slowbro / Mega Slowbro. There are a lot of details throughout that are simply fluff or unnecessarily lengthy. Please put this back into WIP for now and try and cut this down to only the information that is crucial for this analysis. Also clarify what sets you are talking about, i.e. "Defensive Pivot" and "Calm Mind Mega" and give each set it's own list of information in the Overview. Once you do this we can check it.

[OVERVIEW]
Psychic
========
Well first off, you should definitely talk about regular Slowbro first. You use the entire overview only talking about its Mega set which isn't as good as its Colbur set. Say everything you’re gonna say about regular Slowbro and then mention “Upon Mega Evolving, Mega Slowbro does x y and z.” I'd write more information about regular Slowbro than Mega Slowbro. When you mention their drawbacks I’d lump both of them together since they have similar weaknesses. (low Speed, special bulk, common weaknesses)

* Talk about Slowbro (regular)'s role on Psychic teams in this bullet.
* Then immediately talk about its Water typing and how it benefits Psychic. Include the threats that it can check for Psychic teams and how it's an excellent fit on balance builds.
* Transition the above bullet and emphasize its superior physical bulk.
Mention this right as you're done talking about Colbur Slowbro. Important to emphasize the massive increase to physical bulk as well.
* Being part Water-type provides Mega Slowbro with many useful resistances such as Water, Fire, and Steel that make dealing with threats like Mega Swampert, Mega Charizard X, and Jirachi easier.
* Mega Slowbro has a decent utility movepool options containing including Calm Mind, Iron Defense, and Thunder Wave. Calm Mind and Iron Defense are used to sweep set up late game, while Thunder Wave cripples threats by paralyzing them. Separate utility and coverage options into two different bullets.
If you add the points above then this info isn't necessary. If you're gonna mention synergy with other Pokemon you should also give examples.
Rewrite this and emphasize how it's not always wise to Mega Evolve instantly in cases where keeping Regenerator is wanted.

[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
========

I would remove Toxic. I mean, the only reason you're running Colbur Berry is to have a reliable answer for Mega Sharpedo, Greninja, Hydreigon, etc. Without Thunder Wave you can't really check any of these.
Move this to OO.

Set Details
========

This is what makes it such an effective pivot in the first place, so I'd put more emphasis on this.
* Maximum Defense EVs and HP EVs along with a Bold nature are used in order to let Slowbro serve as an effective physical pivot.
* The 4 EVs are dumped into Special Defense to support Slowbro's low special bulk. Unnecessary.

Usage Tips
========

* Send Slowbro in to soak up physical attacks and therefore shield your other Pokemon from getting damaged.
* Switch Slowbro out constantly so that it will replenish its health and therefore keep itself healthy with Regenerator.
* Avoid Toxic users such as... with Slowbro, and switch Slowbro out if you suspect that the opposing Pokemon may be carrying Toxic. Being badly Poison puts a timer on Slowbro and hinders its ability to check physical attackers reliably.
* In some situations, using Thunder Wave twice is recommended when the opposing player may switch a check directly into Slowbro, in order to cripple the Pokemon that is sent out. Mention this after your next Thunder Wave bullet.
* Use Scald constantly in order to inflict burns and wear down bulky Pokemon such as Toxapex and Celesteela for later on in the game.
* Use Slack Off constantly in order to keep Slowbro healthy. This needs to be a bit more specifically. Should I just use Slack Off every single turn then?
* Emphasize its huge impact in the Dark matchup to preface the Colbur bullet.

========

It doesn't need a Choice Band to KO Mantine.
* Mega Latias
* Mega Gallade

I don't think Mega Gardevoir is viable/relevant enough to warrant it being a team option.

Other Options
=============

The analysis is supposed to have one single Other Options section instead of one for every set. Merge everything here to the one below, and when mentioning other options, clarify which set the OO is actually for.

* A Rocky Helmet can be used on Slowbro because of its ability to punish physical attackers, but not using a Colbur Berry hinders Slowbro's ability to check Dark-type Pokemon such as Mega Sharpedo well.
* Leftovers can be used for increasing overall longevity, but Colbur Berry is the better option for checking Dark-type Pokemon more reliably.
* Calm Mind is an option on Colbur Berry Slowbro for setting up and serving as a wincon, however without Mega Slowbro's improved bulk, Slowbro ends up getting forced out to often and proves a sweep ineffective.

Moves
========

I would move this to OO.

Set Details
========

You should never mention the leftover 4 EVs in an analysis.

Usage Tips
========
Compress this point into the one before it; you're basically saying the same thing.
* It is a good idea to use Calm Mind in front of choice locked Pokemon such as Victini, Dragonite, and Landorus that cannot do reasonable damage to Mega Slowbro. This will ensure that Mega Slowbro will get to use Calm Mind multiple times safety. Second sentence seems rather redundant to me. It probably won't be able to Calm Mind "multiple times" because the player will likely send in an answer to it immediately. Rewrite or remove.
Mention how this allows it to get stalled out by Pokemon like Porygon2.
This seems way too obvious to me. Maybe mention specific teammates it can switch out into specific threats or remove.
* Use Scald on predicted Taunt users such as Mew to inflict burn on them.

Team Options
========

Other Options

Psychic
--------
* A Rest + Sleep Talk set can be used to avoid status while setting up with Calm Mind, but being asleep leaves Mega Slowbro open to opposing threats and Sleep Talk is very unreliable.

Checks and Counters
===================

Psychic
--------

Once again, you're stuck on talking about Mega Slowbro only and not mentioning regular Slowbro at all. If mentioning Dark-types, clarify that most don't check Slowbro if its Colbur Berry is active.

All it takes is one, really. Also, Latios isn't a reliable check since once it's Special Attack is halved, it cannot dent Slowbro or Mega Slowbro much and becomes setup bait for Calm Mind.

The second sentence seems unnecessary, and seems to ignore the best Ghost-type in the metagame, Mega Sableye. Rephrase or remove.

**Bug-types** Bug-type Pokemon such as Scizor and Heracross punch holes in Mega Slowbro using their Bug-type attacks. However, not many Bug-type Pokemon enjoy taking Flamethrower or being crippled with Thunder Wave. I'd remove this actually. Mega Scizor needs Bug Bite, and Choice Scarf Heracross cannot 2HKO it with Megahorn (Mega.) Other relevant Bug-types like Armaldo and Volcarona without Bug Buzz don't really match up well with Mega Slowbro at all.

Lots of stuff to go over like iLlama said. Just an AM check but I believe this will be QC ready if implemented!

[OVERVIEW]
Psychic
========
* Slowbro's defensive bulk makes it the best defensive pivot on Psychic teams.
* Slowbro's high Defense and Water typing makes it a good defensive pivot on Psychic teams as it can easily check threats such as Mega Swampert and Mega Charizard X.
* Slowbro's ability, Regenerator, supports its role as a defensive pivot by healing it every time it chooses to switch out, giving it longevity throughout the battle.
* Bullet talking about how Mega Slowbro is a defensive setup, allowing it to be a potent win condition in the late game. This will more readily flow into the next bullet.
* Upon Mega Evolution, Mega Slowbro gets Shell Armor, and an ability thatwhich supports Mega Slowbro'sits ability to sweep with Calm Mind by protecting it from critical hits. This, along with a Defense boost, makes Mega Slowbros job as a win condition much more reliable.
* Slowbro has decent utility options containing Calm Mind, Iron Defense, and Thunder Wave. Calm Mind and Iron Defense are used to set up late game, while Thunder Wave cripples threats by paralyzing them. These are two different sets, I wouldn't talk about them together in the overview.

* Slowbro also has access to decent special coverage. This really isn't saying anything important for an overview. I wouldn't mention Ice Beam or Grass Knot here anyways. If anything, I guess you could write about how Slowbro helps in the Steel matchup specifically, as that'd be a reason to use it on your team.
* Despite its high physical bulk, Slowbro's Special Defense stat is lackluster, leaving it open to many special attackers such as Latios and Landorus.
* Mega Slowbro is vulnerable to status conditions, namely Toxic, which greatly hinders its role as a setup sweeper when badly poisoned and makes a sweep much more harder, if not impossible, to achieve.
* Mega Slowbro faces competition from other Mega Evolutions on Psychic such as Mega Latias and Mega Gallade for the Mega Evolution slot. (Very briefly mention what those other two do)
* Being a Water-type leaves Slowbro weak to Electric- and Grass-type attacks, a trait commonly exploited by common metagame threats such as Tapu Koko and Tapu Bulu. It also stacks a Dark-, Bug-, and Ghost-type weakness on Psychic teams.
* Slowbro's low speed ensures that it will be outsped most of the time.

Set Details
========

* Colbur Berry is the preferred item on Slowbro as it gives Slowbro the ability to take a Dark-type attack, which can be crucial when checking huge threats inlike Mega Sharpedo and Bisharp, and many other Dark-type Pokemon.
* A huge reason why Slowbro is an effective pivot lies in its ability, Regenerator, which keeps it healthy throughout the duration of the game by healing it a bit every time it switches out. This lets Slowbro serve as an effective pivot as it does not need to use Slack Off as much to keep itself healthy. Repeated essentially the same thing twice.
* Maximum Defense EVs and HP EVsHP and Defense along with a Bold nature are used in order to let Slowbro serve as an effective physical pivotwall.

Usage Tips
========

* Send Slowbro in to soak up physical attacks (like?) and therefore shield your other Pokemon from getting damaged.
* Switch Slowbro out constantly when it is low on health so that it will replenish its health and therefore keep itself healthy with Regenerator.
* Avoid Toxic users such as Swampert and Celesteela with Slowbro, and switch Slowbro out if you suspect that the opposing Pokemon may be carrying Toxic. as being badly poisoned puts Slowbro on a timer on Slowbro and hinders its ability to check physical attackers reliably.
* Use Slack Off in order to replenish Slowbro's health when it is about to faint. :megathink:
* Slowbro performs a huge role in the Dark matchup by holding a Colbur Berry, which lets it check many Dark-type Pokémon through taking a Dark-type attack consuming the Colbur Berry and crippling the opposing Pokémon with Thunder Wave. This says essentially the same thing as the next bullet.
* Utilize the Colbur Berry so that Slowbro is able to check Dark-type Pokemon most notably Mega Sharpedo and Bisharp later in the game. Do not recklessly use it so that it will be eaten before said Pokemon gets checked. This is a huge factor in the Dark matchup as Slowbro checks numerous amounts of threats for its teammates to revenge kill.
* Use Thunder Wave in order to cripple Pokemon such as Mega Lopunny and Mega Sharpedo by lowering their Speed. Using Thunder Wave on a slower Pokemon is also doable if being paralyzed will make it easier to take down through being immobilized.
* Use attacking moves, most likely Scald, on predicted Taunt users such as MewMega Gyarados to inflict a burn and wear them downon said stallbreaker.

Team Options

* Victini is a good partner for Slowbro as it takes care of many Slowbro's offensive checks such as Tapu Koko and Tapu Bulu with a Choice Scarf and Slowbro's defensive checks such as Chansey and Porygon2 with a Choice Band. Slowbro, in return, is able to switch into Water- and Ground-type Pokemon such as Mega Swampert and Excadrill for Victini.
* Latios is able to offensively check many of Slowbro's checks such as Hydreigon and Tapu KokoBlacephalon with a Choice Scarf. Similarly to Victini, it can also break down Slowbro's Defensive checks with Choice Specs. Latios also provides a Grass and Electric resistance that can be useful for switching into Grass- and Electric-type Pokemon and attacks that would otherwise threaten Slowbro.
*Mega Latias pairs well defensively with Slowbro because it resists Electric- and Grass-type attacks, which makes it perfect for switching into Pokemon like Mega Charizard Y that may threaten Slowbro.
*Mega Gallade can beat defensive Pokemon such as Chansey and Porygon2 for Slowbro. Slowbro also offers speed control through Thunder Wave that helps slow opposing threats down and helps Mega Gallade sweep (What does it slow down from Mega Gallade? - Example).
* Jirachi forms a defensive core with Slowbro since it appreciate's Slowbro's high defense and Water typing that lets Slowbro switch into Fire- type attacks, while Jirachi for Jirachi. Slowbro, in return, appreciates Jirachi's special bulk and Steel-typing, which is a good switches into Special Attackers such as Latios and Mega Diancie that threaten Slowbro thanks to its Steel typingbecause of its low special bulk.

Usage Tips
========
* Setup opportunities can sometimes be very rare for Mega Slowbro, as the opponent will most likely keep a few of its checks alive to ensure that it will not sweep. Therefore, Mega Slowbro can drain momentum when one of its checks or counters switches in on it. You talk about this in better detail in the current 5th bullet, so it's not necessary to have it up here.
* As Slowbro loses Regenerator upon Mega Evolution, it is left in certain situations where it has to carefully select where it Mega Evolves. This isn't really a tip, more of a general statement, the tip portion is summarized in the next bullet.
This doesn't really make sense...what're you trying to say?
* The ideal time to Mega Evolve Slowbro is when its checks and counters have been knocked out or worn down.
Rephrase this "Take advantage of Pokemon choice-locked into a move that does not threaten Mega Slowbro such as Victini and Landorus in order to freely use Calm Mind."
* Steer away from Toxic users like Porygon2 with Mega Slowbro, as being badly poisoned renders its ability to set up and sweep, as it will need to switch out often in order to keep itself from being worn down. Common Pokemon such as Porygon2
* Use Scald to throw off burns, even when you can't sweep. This allows Mega Slowbro wear down opponents for later in the game. This doesn't make sense.
* When Mega Slowbro does not have many setup opportunities in a game, make use of its coverage options to take down opponents. You need to give examples of matchups where you won't reasonably be able to setup.
* Switch Slowbro out of its checks and counters in order to avoid getting knocked out. Teammates such as Jirachi, Latios and Latias switch into Grass- and Electric-type attacks that could potentially knock Slowbro out.
* Use Scald on predicted Taunt users such as Mew to inflict burn on them.

Additionally, using Latias and Latios along with Slowbro is able to confuse the opposing player which Mega Evolution Psychic team is actually using. Move this to immediately after Latios.
* Calm Mind is an option on Colbur Berry Slowbro for setting up and serving as a wincon, however without Mega Slowbro's improved bulk, Slowbro ends up getting forced out to often and proves a sweep ineffective.
* Grass knot is an option on Colbur Berry Slowbro in order to surprise Pokemon like Seismitoad and Gastrodon.
* A Rest + Sleep Talk set can be used on Mega Slowbro to avoid status while setting up with Calm Mind, but being asleep leaves Mega Slowbro open to opposing threats and Sleep Talk is very unreliable.
* A Slack Off + 3 attacks set can be used on Mega Slowbro with Scald, Ice Beam, and Flamethrower, but not having Calm Mind neuters Mega Slowbro's ability to set up and sweep late game.
* Toxic can be used over Calm Mind or a coverage option on Mega Slowbro in order to catch Mega Slowbro's switchins off gaurd such as Mantine and Rotom Wash, but giving up Calm Mind neglects the main reason to use Mega Slowbro as a setup sweeper and dropping a coverage option will result in Mega Slowbro getting walled out by certain Pokemon.
*A Trick Room set can be used with Slack Off, Scald, and Flamethrower on Trick Room Psychic teams, but Trick Room Psychic is not a consistent archetype which deems Trick Room Mega Slowbro unnecessary.
* Iron Defense is a move that works well with Calm Mind on Mega Slowbro. The point of using Iron Defense + Calm Mind together is to make Mega Slowbro very bulky on both sides and impossible to break, although missing out on a coverage option can sometimes be beneficial to Mega Slowbro.

Checks and Counters
===================

Psychic
--------

**Super Effective Attackers**: Just combined all of the super-effective things below into one bullet. It's repetitive. See how iLlama did it in his jirachi analysis.

**Electric-types**: Electric-type Pokemon such as Tapu Koko, Zapdos, and Rotom Wash force Slowbro out with their Electric-type attacks, while using Slowbro's incoming switch to grab momentum with U-Turn or Volt Switch.

**Grass-types**: Grass-type Pokemon such as Breloom, Tapu Bulu, and Mega Venusaur threaten Slowbro with their Grass-type attacks, although they must be careful about getting hit with a Fire Blast, Ice Beam, or getting paralyzed by Thunder Wave.

**Dark-Types** Dark-type Pokemon such as Hydreigon and Mega Sharpedo threaten Slowbro with their Dark-type attacks. However, most Dark-type Pokemon do not check Slowbro if Colbur Berry has not been consumed yet and in return gets paralyzed by Slowbro's Thunder Wave.

**Special Wallbreakers** Special wallbreakers such as Mega Charizard Y and Porygon-Z do immense damage to Slowbro because of its poor special bulk. However, Mega Slowbro gradually fears special wallbreakers less when it uses Calm Mind a decent amount of times.

**Ghost-types** Ghost-type Pokemon such as Gengar and Blacephalon threaten Slowbro with their Ghost-type attacks.

**Toxic** Toxic users such as Gastrodon, Chansey, and Swampert wear Slowbro down by using badly poisoning it with Toxic. Being badly poisoned puts Mega Slowbro on a timer, preventing it from sweeping in the late game. This is particularly bad for Calm Mind, as it makes the chances of Mega Slowbro sweeping very slim because of the need to switch out very often to keep itself healthy.

**Specially Defensive Pokemon** Specially Defensive Walls such as Mantine, Zapdos, and Chansey wall Slowbro while Mega Slowbro cannot do much in return due to their high Special Defense stats.

**Haze and Phaze**:

**Taunt**:
Okay I think I'm done... Decemm please tag me when you finish implementing so I can look at it again.

[OVERVIEW]
Psychic
========
* Mega Slowbro's ability to defensively set up allows it to massive defense and access to Calm Mind allows it to serve as a potent win condition in the late game.
* Upon Mega Evolution, Mega Slowbro gets Shell Armor, which supports its ability to sweep with Calm Mind by protecting it from critical hits.
* Slowbro helps in the Steel matchup, as it is a good switchin to Excadrill and can threaten many Steel-type Pokemon such as Mega Scizor and Ferrothorn with Fire Blast and Heatran with Scald.
* Despite its high physical bulk, Slowbro's Special Defense stat is lackluster, leaving it open to many special attackers such as Latios and Landorus.
* Mega Slowbro is vulnerable to status conditions, namely Toxic, which greatly hinders its role as a setup sweeper when badly poisoned and makes a sweep much more harderdifficult, if not impossible, to achieve.
* Mega Slowbro faces competition from other Mega Evolutions on Psychic such as Mega Latias and Mega Gallade for the Mega Evolution slot, the former being another Calm Mind sweeper and the latter being a Swords Dance sweeper.
Make this the bullet immediately after the one where you talk about it's low SpD.

[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
========

* Scald is Slowbro's Watermain attack and has a useful burn chance that Slowbro can use to cripple physical attackers like Gyarados and Mega Lopunny.
* Slack Off is Slowbro's main form of reliable recovery, and is used to ensure that Slowbro stays healthy throughout the battle.
* Thunder Wave is used to cripple fast Pokemon like Mega Sharpedo, Greninja, and Tapu Bulu.
* Fire Blast can be used in the last slot is used to hit Steel- and Grass-type Pokemon like Ferrothorn, Mega Scizor, and Bisharp.

Set Details
========

* Colbur Berry is the preferred item on Slowbro as it gives Slowbro the ability to take a Dark-type attack, which can be crucial when checking huge threats like Mega Sharpedo and Bisharp.
* A huge reason why Slowbro is an effective pivot lies in its ability, Regenerator, which keeps it healthy throughout the duration of the game by healing it a bit every time it switches out.
* Maximum HP and Defense along with a Bold nature are used in order to let Slowbro serve as an effective physical wall. Make this the first bullet.

Usage Tips
========

* Send Slowbro in to soak up physical attacks like Mega Lopunny's Return or Excadrill's Earthquake and therefore shield your other Pokemon from getting damaged.
* Switch Slowbro out constantly when it is low on health so that it will replenish its health and therefore keep itself healthy with Regenerator. Change this bullet so it sounds better - "Utilize Regenerator throughout the battle by constantly switching out Slowbro to maintain its high HP."
* Avoid Toxic users such as Swampert and Celesteela with Slowbro, as being badly poisoned puts Slowbro on a timer and hinders its ability to check physical attackers reliably.
* In some situations, using Thunder Wave twice is recommended when the opposing player may switch a check directly into Slowbro, in order to cripple the Pokemon that is sent out.
* Use Scald constantly in order to inflict burns and wear down bulky Pokemon such as Toxapex and Celesteela.
* Utilize thePreserve Slowbro's Colbur Berry so that Slowbroit is able to check Dark-type Pokemon most notably Mega Sharpedo and Bisharp later in the game.
* Use Thunder Wave in order to cripple Pokemon such as Mega Lopunny and Mega Sharpedo by lowering their Speed.
* Be wary of Taunt users like Mega Gyarados looking to prevent Slowbro from utilizing Thunder Wave and Taunt. Use Scald on a predicted Taunt in order to fish for burns, crippling the opposing Pokemon.Use attacking moves, most likely Scald, on predicted Taunt users such as Mega Gyarados to inflict a burn and wear them down.

Team Options
========

* Latios is able to offensively check many of Slowbro's checks such as Hydreigon and Blacephalon with a Choice Scarf.
I don't think this is really a good enough reason to use Mega Latias as a partner - just having defensive synergy isn't a clear reason. By this logic, I could say that Bronzong is a good partner for Slowbro.
*Mega Gallade can beat defensive Pokemon such as Chansey and Porygon2 for Slowbro. Slowbro also offers speed control through Thunder Wave that helps slow opposing threats down such as Greninja and helps Mega Gallade sweep.
* Jirachi forms a defensive core with Slowbro since it appreciate's Slowbro's high defense and Water typing that lets Slowbro switch into Fire- type attacks, while Jirachi switches into Special Attackers such as Latios and Mega Diancie that threaten Slowbro thanks to its Steel typing.

[SET]

[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
========
* Calm Mind is Mega Slowbro's main form of setup, raising its Special Attack and Special Defense to extreme levels in order to sweep.
* Slack Off is Mega Slowbro's form of reliable recovery and works in tandem with Calm Mind in order to let Mega Slowbro set up safety and heal off damage.
* Scald is Slowbro's Water attack, has a chance to burn and is useful for crippling physical attackers and wearing down Pokemon.
* Psyshock allows it to hit Poison-type Pokemon such as Toxapex and Mega Venusaur for super effective damage, while hitting Pokemon that Scald is less effective against such as Mantine and Suicune.

Set Details
========
* Max Defense and HP with a Bold nature ensures that Mega Slowbro will be able to take physical hits comfortably and therefore boost with Calm Mind.
* Slowbro Mega Evolves through Slowbronite, increasing its Defense and Special Attack.
* Regenerator is the preferred ability because it allows Slowbro to serve as a defensive pivot before Mega Evolving.
* Shell Armor, Mega Slowbro's ability, protects Mega Slowbro from critical hits.

Usage Tips
========
* Before Mega Evolution, utilize Slowbro as a defensive pivot that can heal itself with Slack Off and Regenerator. Be aware that Mega Slowbro loses Regenerator once it Mega Evolves, and therefore does not gain any passive recovery through switching out after Mega Evolution.
* Do not Mega Evolve and set up with Calm Mind until Mega Slowbro's checks and counters like x and x have been removed.
* The ideal time to Mega Evolve Slowbro is when its checks and counters have been knocked out or worn down. Mega Evolving Slowbro is also a good idea if the extra bulk is needed to check a certain threat. The first half of this says the same exact thing as the previous bullet, remove it. For the second half of this bullet, name some Pokemon that it needs the extra bulk in order to check.
* Take advantage of Pokemon choice-locked into a move that does not threaten Mega Slowbro such as Victini and Landorus in order to freely use Calm Mind.
* Steer away from Toxic users like Porygon2, as being badly poisoned renders its ability to set up and sweep, as it will need to switch out often in order to keep itself from being worn down.
* Fishing for burns with Scald is recommended in order to wear down the opposing Pokemon over time.
* When Mega Slowbro does not have many setup opportunities in matchups such as Fairy that have Pokemon such as Tapu Koko and Tapu Bulu, make use of its coverage options to take down opponents.

Team Options
========

* Jirachi's high Special Defense lets it switch into special attackers such as Latios and Mega Diancie that may try to badly damage Mega Slowbro with their Special Attacks and can heal Mega Slowbro with Healing Wish. In return, Mega Slowbro is able to protect Jirachi from physical attackers such as Excadrill and Garchomp.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============
* A Rocky Helmet can be used on Slowbro instead of a Colbur Berry because of its ability to punish physical attackers, but not using a Colbur Berry hinders Slowbro's ability to check Dark-type Pokemon such as Mega Sharpedo well.
* Leftovers can be used over Colbur Berry for increasing overall longevity, but Colbur Berry is the better option for checking Dark-type Pokemon more reliably.
* Ice Beam is an option over Thunder Wave to hit Dragon- and Flying-type Pokemon such as Dragonite and Garchomp.
* An Iron Defense / Calm Mind / Scald / Rest set can be used on Mega Slowbro, as Iron Defense raises its physical defense, Calm Mind raises its special defense, and Rest makes it immune to status, making Mega Slowbro very hard to Knock Out after a few boosts. However, Rest makes Mega Slowbro vulnerable to attacks while it sleeps for 2 turns.

For example Mega Gallade really threatens Poison and Normal, while Mega Latias can bop through Flying and Water.

* Use Thunder Wave in order to cripple Pokemon such as Mega Lopunny and Mega Sharpedo by lowering their Speed. Again clarify that Thunder Wave should be used instead of fishing for burns with Scald when against Pokemon that Slowbro cannot beat with Scald / Slack Off (encore mega lop, mega shark) or pokemon who pose a larger threat to the rest of the team with full speed
* Be wary of Taunt users like Mega Gyarados looking to prevent Slowbro from utilizing Thunder Wave and Taunt. Use Scald on a predicted Taunt in order to fish for burns, crippling the opposing Pokemon.

* I don't know if you need to make an entire bullet about this, but you should talk about deciding between fishing for burns or paralyzing with Thunder Wave, and when each Status is preferable.

Team Options

* Calm Mind is Mega Slowbro's main form of setup, raising its Special Attack and Special Defense to extreme levels in order to sweep.
* Slack Off is Mega Slowbro's form of reliable recovery and works in tandem with Calm Mind in order to let Mega Slowbro set up safety and heal off damage.
* Scald is Slowbro's Water attack, has a chance to burn and is useful for crippling physical attackers and wearing down Pokemon. Scald should be described as Slowbro's most spammabale attack.
* Psyshock allows it to hit Poison-type Pokemon such as Toxapex and Mega Venusaur for super effective damage, while hitting Pokemon that Scald is less effective against such as Mantine and Suicune. Psyshock is used over Psyshock for hitting a handful of specific targets, such as opposing Calm Mind users like Suicune.

Set Details

* Max Defense and HP with a Bold nature ensures that Mega Slowbro will be able to take physical hits comfortably and therefore boost with Calm Mind. to There are specific hits that this spread is meant to stomach; for example it allows Slowbro to switch in on Diggersby pre-mega, then mega and take another hit without getting KOd. This should be mentioned when talking about the spread.

* Mega Evolving Slowbro is also a good idea if the extra bulk is needed to check a certain threat, such as Tapu Bulu and Choice Band Diggersby that Slowbro wouldn't able to check otherwise.
* Take advantage of Pokemon choice-locked into a move that does not threaten Mega Slowbro such as Victini and Landorus in order to freely use Calm Mind. Specify Landorus Therian, since Landorus-I is rarely locked into moves
* Steer away from Toxic users like Porygon2, as being badly poisoned renders its ability to set up and sweep, as it will need to switch out often in order to keep itself from being worn down.
* When Mega Slowbro does not have many setup opportunities in matchups such as Fairy that have Pokemon such as Tapu Koko and Tapu Bulu, make use of its coverage options to take down opponents. Instead of "make use of it's coverage options" instead say something like "prioritize attacking and fishing for burns with Scald over trying to setup"

Team Options
========

This bullet is almost identical to the one for the previous set.
* Latios pairs well with Mega Slowbro as it can Defog away hazards, namely Toxic Spikes and can check Mega Slowbro's offensive checks such as Tapu Koko and Hydreigon with a Choice Scarf. Latios is not a very good Tapu Koko check with Choice Scarf. You might also mention the support offensive LO / Soul Dew Latios sets offer Mega slowbro?
* Latias, like Latios, is also able to support Mega Slowbro by checking many Pokemon that threaten it, such as Tapu Koko and Hydreigon, while also giving Mega Slowbro more setup oppurtunities by healing it with Healing Wish. Additionally, using Latias and Latios along with Slowbro is able to confuse the opposing player which Mega Evolution Psychic team is actually using. Again, Latias isn't a great Tapu Koko check. Maybe use Scarf Heracross as a better example?
* Mew is a good partner for Mega Slowbro because its able to deal with many of its defensive checks by using Taunt and Knock Off with its stallbreaker set, while being able to use Defog to remove hazards that may potentially damage Mega Slowbro such as Toxic Spikes.

* Ice Beam is an option over Thunder Wave to hit Dragon- and Flying-type Pokemon such as Dragonite and Garchomp. What's the downside of dropping Thunder Wave?
* An Iron Defense / Calm Mind / Scald / Rest set can be used on Mega Slowbro, as Iron Defense raises its physical defense, Calm Mind raises its special defense, and Rest makes it immune to status, making Mega Slowbro very hard to Knock Out after a few boosts. However, Rest makes Mega Slowbro vulnerable to attacks while it sleeps for 2 turns. What is the benefit of using Iron Defense? What Pokemon does this let Mega Slowbro wall that it couldn't otherwise?

Checks and Counters
===================

Psychic
--------

**Super Effective Attackers** Pokemon that carry Dark, Electric, Bug, Grass, and Ghost-type attacks such as Hydreigon, Tapu Koko, and Tapu Bulu beat Slowbro by taking advantage of its common weaknesses. This is very vague and I think you should be a bit more specific. Separate this into a couple of bullets.

**Electric-types**: This definitely deserves it's own bullet, considering how much more common threatening electric types are than some of mega-slowbro's other weaknesses; Magnezone, Tapu Koko, Alolan Raichu

**Grass-types**: This also deserves it's own bullet. Mega Venusaur, Tapu Bulu, Celebi are all big threats to both sets.

**Bug-types**: Choice Band Scizor, Heracross, Galvantula, etc.

Dark-types don't need their own bullet since you have Colbur on one set and the other set can manage most Dark-types between reducing Knock Off's power and calm mind to manage weak dark pulses (like Greninja's). The most dangerous dark type to Slowbro is Hydreigon, which you can mention in the below bullet, Special Wallbreakers. The same can be said of Ghost, where Mega Slowbro / Slowbro only really fears Gengar and Blacephelon, which both also fit into the Special Wallbreaker section.

-

**Special Wallbreakers** Special wallbreakers such as Mega Charizard Y and Porygon-Z do immense damage to Slowbro because of its poor special bulk. However, Mega Slowbro is able to take on special attackers after boosting several times with Calm Mind. As I said above, add examples for Ghost- and Dark-type threats such as Hydreigon, Blacephelon, and Gengar. Also Porygon-Z isn't a wallbreaker and should never set up on Slowbro and risk getting T-waved (unless it's Electric conversion)

**Toxic** Toxic users such as Gastrodon, Chansey, and Swampert wear Slowbro down by using badly poisoning it with Toxic. Being badly poisoned puts Mega Slowbro on a timer, preventing it from sweeping in the late game.

**Specially Defensive Pokemon** Specially Defensive Walls such as Mantine, Zapdos, and Chansey wall Slowbro while Mega Slowbro cannot do much in return due to their high Special Defense stats. Clarify that they only wall non-Calm Mind Slowbro. Granted, all three of these pokemon have ways of crippling calm mind mega slowbro, but haze / phaze / toxic are covered in other bullets so.

**Haze and Phaze** Pokemon such as Toxapex and Mantine that carry Haze check Mega Slowbro by wiping out its stat boosts, while phazers such as Whirlwind Skarmory and Roar Swampert force Mega Slowbro to switch and remove its stat boosts.

**Taunt** Taunt users such as Mew and Hydreigon lock Slowbro into attacking moves, which means it cannot heal itself with Slack Off, cripple Pokemon with Thunder Wave, or set up with Calm Mind.
Looks good QC 2/3

Overview:
- I wouldn't really bother talking about stacking weaknesses. That's part of being Monotype. The majority of Pokemon will stack weaknesses.
- Talk about Mega Slowbro being able to beat Poison teams relatively easily.

Defensive Pivot:
Moves:
- Your Thunder Wave examples probably shouldn't be Pokemon that hate being burned (Mega Sharpedo, Tapu Bulu), since if they get burned, they can't beat Slowbro anymore. Something like say Hydreigon or Latios.

Usage Tips:
- Toxic doesn't really put Slowbro on a timer when it can just use Regenerator to switch out. Yes it's crippled, but the phrase "put on a timer" doesn't really apply here, since it only really works if Slowbro is your last Pokemon or incapable of switching out.
- The Taunt line makes it sound like Slowbro uses Taunt too.
- Talk about using Slowbro as a pivot
- In a similar sense, talk about using Slowbro to soak up U-turn

Team Options:
- Talk about using Slowbro and Victini as a specific core. Victini loves using V-create and U-turn, both of which means Victini is switching out (soon or immediately, respectively), and Slowbro works fantastically for that purpose.
- Celebi
- Latias and Latios for Defog (and Healing Wish from Latias)

Calm Mind Mega:
Set:
- Psychic should be the move not Psyshock. You need Psychic to beat Haze Toxapex, since otherwise it can Haze before you hit it and unboosted Psyshock does pitiful damage. In addition, against the Pokemon you mentioned, Suicune PP stalls Psyshock for free with Substitute + Protect. Haze Mantine also beats Psyshock regardless. For both Haze Pokemon, if it isn't Haze, you beat it regardless (although Mantine will probably Toxic poison you), so it wouldn't matter in those cases.

Usage Tips:
- You aren't going to Mega Evolve to check Tapu Bulu. You aren't going to check Tapu Bulu with Mega Slowbro to begin with in fact.
- Spikes isn't a problem unless you've Mega Evolved already. Note that
- Right after talking about Toxic, you should talk about trying to bait your opponent into burning or paralyzing Slowbro. If either of those happen, it cannot be Toxic poisoned. Of course, this only applies to matchups where Slowbro is likely to get Toxic poisoned at all.

Other Options:
- Psyshock for Mega Slowbro can go here.

Checks and Counters:
- Should be noted that Grass-types (and only some) are only afraid of Fire Blast.
- Most Bug-types are afraid of Fire Blast too in addition to Thunder Wave

Psychic
========
add line break
Slowbro's high Defense and Water typing makes it a good defensive pivot on Psychic teams because as it can easily check threats such as Diggersby and Excadrill. In addition To support this, Slowbro's ability, Regenerator, supports its role as a defensive pivot by healing it every time it chooses to switch out, giving extending its longevity throughout the battle. Mega I assume you're still talking about just Slowbro at this point, given you introduce mego evolution in the next sentence. If not, I recommend adding "Upon Mega Evolution, Slowbro..." after this line to make clear the difference between forms Slowbro's massive Defense allows it to and access to Calm Mind allows it to serve as a potent wincon win condition in the late-(AH)game. Upon Mega Evolution, Mega Slowbro gets Shell Armor, which supports its ability to sweep with Calm Mind by protecting it from critical hits. Slowbro also helps in the Steel matchup,(RC) as because it is a good switch-(AH)in to Excadrill and can threaten many Steel-type Pokemon such as Mega Scizor and Ferrothorn with Fire Blast and Heatran with Scald. Despite its high physical bulk, Slowbro's Special Defense stat is lackluster, leaving it open to many special attackers such as Latios and Landorus. Being a Water-type leaves Slowbro weak to Electric- and Grass-type attacks, a trait commonly exploited by common metagame threats such as Tapu Koko and Tapu Bulu. Mega Slowbro is vulnerable to status conditions, namely Toxic, which greatly hinders its role as a setup sweeper when badly poisoned and makes a sweep much more difficult, if not impossible, to achieve. Although Mega Slowbro does well in matchups such as against Poison, it Mega Slowbro faces competition for the Mega Evolution slot from other Mega Evolutions on Psychic such as Mega Latias and Mega Gallade for the Mega Evolution slot, with the former punching holes in types such as Normal and the latter doing well in matchups such as Water and Flying, while itself does well in matchups such as Poison where it's able to use Scald to hit Alolan Muk and Psychic to damage everything else after a few Calm Mind boosts. the end of this sentence is overly specific and thus unnecessary. I think it makes more sense to limit it to a matchup it does well in because the point of the sentence is to contrast how m-slowbro matches up vs certain types with how gallade/latios match up with the types they do well against.

Scald is Slowbro's main attack and has a useful burn chance that Slowbro can use to cripple physical attackers like Gyarados and Mega Lopunny. Thunder Wave is used to cripple fast Pokemon that cannot otherwise be beaten through Scald and Slack off like Hydreigon, Greninja, and Latios. Maximum HP and Defense EVs along with a Bold nature are used in order to let Slowbro serve as an effective physical wall. Colbur Berry is the preferred item on Slowbro,(AC) as it gives Slowbro the ability to take a Dark-type attack, which can be crucial when checking huge threats like Mega Sharpedo and Bisharp. A huge reason why Slowbro is an effective pivot lies in its ability, Regenerator, which keeps it healthy throughout the duration of the game by healing it a bit every time it switches out.

Usage Tips
========

Send Slowbro in to soak up physical attacks like Mega Lopunny's Return or Excadrill's Earthquake and therefore shield your other Pokemon from getting damaged. Use Slowbro as a pivot that can consistently heal itself with through Slack Off and Regenerator. If Slowbro gets hit with a very strong attack,(AC) switch it back out in order to keep it healthy. Utilize Regenerator throughout the battle by constantly switching out Slowbro to keep maintain its high HP high. Because of the aforementioned reason, Slowbro is great for soaking up moves like U-turn simultaneously. Simultaneous to what? I assume you mean to say that because of regenerator, slowbro can take moves like u-turn because it can just heal its hp? if so, you don't need "simultaneously." not sure if there's another meaning you going after here Avoid Toxic users such as Porygon2 and Gastrodon, as being badly poisoned wears Slowbro down and hinders its ability to check physical attackers reliably. In some situations, using Thunder Wave twice in a row is recommended when the opposing player may switch a check directly into Slowbro, in order to cripple the Pokemon that is sent out. Use Scald constantly in order to inflict burns and wear down bulky Pokemon such as Toxapex and Celesteela. Preserve Slowbro's Colbur Berry when until it is nessecary necessary to check Dark-type Pokemon, most notably Mega Sharpedo and Bisharp,(AC) later in the game. Use Thunder Wave in order to cripple Pokemon by lowering their Speed that cannot otherwise be beaten through using Slack Off and Scald such as Mega Lopunny and Mega Sharpedo by lowering their Speed. Thunder Wave is also useful used in situations where you would need to cripple faster Pokemon such as Mega Sharpedo and Mega Pidgeot, while fishing for burns with Scald would be more useful against physical attackers or bulky Pokemon that can be crippled and worn down by burn such as Garchomp and Celesteela that may be crippled and worn down by burn. Be wary of Taunt users like Mega Gyarados looking to prevent Slowbro from using its think you forgot to end this sentence here Use Scald on a predicted Taunt in order to fish for burns, crippling the opposing Pokemon.

Victini is a good partner for Slowbro as it takes care of many Slowbro's offensive checks such as Tapu Koko,(AC) and Tapu Bulu with a Choice Scarf,(AC) and Slowbro's defensive checks such as Chansey and Porygon2 with a Choice Band. I'm assuming here P2 does not use a choice band. Guessing you forgot a Pokemon somewhere. Using V-create and U-turn means that Victini will switch out sooner or later because of the former's Defense and Speed drops and the latter's pivot side effect, which means that Slowbro is an excellent partner for Victini to pivot into. Slowbro, in return, is able to switch into Water- and Ground-type Pokemon such as Mega Swampert and Excadrill for Victini. Latios is able to offensively check many of Slowbro's checks such as Hydreigon and Blacephalon with a Choice Scarf Is it Latios that's holding the Scarf? If so, move the phrase to "Latios with a choice scarf" or "choice scarf latios" otherwise makes it seem like blace is holding the scarf (obv keep if intended). Similarly to Victini, Choice Specs Latios it can also beat defensive Pokemon that Slowbro struggles against with Choice Specs. Latios also provides a resistance to Grass-(AH) and Electric-(AH)type moves that would otherwise threaten Slowbro. Latios and Latias pair well with Slowbro with their Defog support, being able to remove Toxic Spikes and other hazards, while Latias is also able to heal Slowbro with Healing Wish. Celebi supports Slowbro using its it's Grass typing,(AC) which allows it to switch into Electric- and Grass-type attacks for Slowbro.(AP),(RC) as well as Celebi synergizes well with Slowbro because it is able to use U-turn to pivot into Slowbro, which activates activating Regenerator,(AC) and can switch back into a potential Toxic for Slowbro and heal itself off with its Natural Cure. I rewrote this long sentence in an attempt to help it flow better. Slowbro also offers speed control through Thunder Wave that helps slow down opposing threats down such as Greninja that could otherwise check Mega Gallade. Jirachi forms a defensive core with Slowbro since it appreciates appreciate's Slowbro's high Defense and Water typing that lets Slowbro switch into Fire-(remove space)type attacks aimed at Jirachi, while Jirachi can switches into special attackers such as Latios and Mega Diancie that threaten Slowbro thanks to its Steel typing. Mew is a good partner for Slowbro because it beats Slowbro's defensive checks with Knock Off and Taunt and can also run Defog, which is especially good because it clears hazards such as Toxic Spikes that can threaten and keeps Slowbro's health healthy. Offensive Mew sets also appreciate the speed control that comes from Slowbro's Thunder Wave, which can being able to cripple fast threats and pave the way for Mew to sweep.

Before Mega Evolution, utilize Slowbro as a defensive pivot that can heal itself with Slack Off and Regenerator. Be aware that Mega Slowbro loses Regenerator once it Mega Evolves,(RC) and therefore does not gain any passive recovery through switching out after Mega Evolution. Thus Therefore, it is best to not Mega Evolve and set up with Calm Mind until Mega Slowbro's checks and counters like Mantine and Tapu Koko have been removed. Mega Evolving Slowbro is also a good idea if the extra bulk is needed to check a certain threat that Slowbro wouldn't be able to otherwise, such as and Choice Band Diggersby and Dragonite that Slowbro wouldn't able to check otherwise. Spikes also aren't a huge threat to Slowbro until it has Mega Evolved, as it cannot regenerate as easily the chip damage caused by them anymore. Take advantage of Pokemon choice-locked into a move that does not threaten Mega Slowbro such as Victini and Landorus-Therain should specify the specific moves here in order to freely use Calm Mind. Try to remove entry hazards such as Toxic Spikes and Spikes before Slowbro comes in, as the former will leave Slowbro poisoned, putting a timer on it,(AC) and the latter will slowly wears Slowbro down when it upon switches in, hurting making Slowbro's ability to switch into threats sometimes shaky. Steer Slowbro away from Toxic users like Porygon2, as being badly poisoned impedes renders its ability to set up and sweep, as because it will need to switch out often in order to keep itself from being worn down. Similarly, in matchups such as Normal where Slowbro will be threatened by Toxic users, it is best to use it to bait burns or paralysis so that it will be immune to Toxic. When Mega Slowbro does not have many setup opportunities in matchups such as Fairy that have Pokemon such as Tapu Koko and Tapu Bulu, prioritize attacking and fishing for burns with Scald over trying to set(add space)up.

Victini in particular is a good partner for Mega Slowbro, as its Choice Scarf set supports Slowbro with speed control,(RC) and beats Pokemon such as Tapu Koko, while its Choice Band set serves as an effective wallbreaker that can punch holes in Pokemon that Mega Slowbro struggles against such as Chansey, Mantine, and Mega Venusaur that Mega Slowbro struggles against. Mega Slowbro is also able to switch into Pokemon like Excadrill or Diggersby that could potentially harm Victini in return. Latios pairs well with Mega Slowbro because as it can Defog away entry hazards, namely Toxic Spikes,(AC) and can support Mega Slowbro through the power it packs with its offensive Life Orb and Soul Dew sets. Latias, like Latios, is also able to support Mega Slowbro by checking many Pokemon that threaten it, such as Choice Scarf Heracross and Hydreigon, while also giving Mega Slowbro more setup opportunities oppurtunities by healing it with Healing Wish. Additionally, using Latias and Latios along with Slowbro is able to can confuse the opposing player as to which Mega Evolution you are Psychic team is actually using. Mew is a good partner for Mega Slowbro because its it is able to deal with many of its I assume that this "its" refers to Mega Slowbro, and you should clarify this by using the actual name of the Pokemon you are referring to defensive checks by using Taunt and Knock Off with its stallbreaker set,(RC) while being able to and use Defog to remove hazards such as Toxic Spikes that may potentially damage Mega Slowbro such as Toxic Spikes. Does Mew run Defog commonly? It's not a move listed in its analysis so seems kinda weird to mention it here (but obligatory "I don't play pkmn) Jirachi's high Special Defense lets it switch into special attackers such as Latios and Mega Diancie that may try to badly damage Mega Slowbro with their Special Attacks I feel this is redundant and thus should be removed and can also heal Mega Slowbro with Healing Wish;(semicolon) and in return,(AC) Mega Slowbro is able to protect Jirachi from physical attackers such as Excadrill and Garchomp.

A Rocky Helmet can be used on Slowbro instead of a Colbur Berry because of its ability to punish physical attackers, but not using a Colbur Berry hinders Slowbro's ability to check Dark-type Pokemon such as Mega Sharpedo well. Leftovers can be used over Colbur Berry to increase its for increasing overall longevity, but Colbur Berry is the better option for checking Dark-type Pokemon more reliably. Ice Beam is an option over Thunder Wave to hit Dragon- and Flying-type Pokemon such as Dragonite and Garchomp,(RC);(semicolon) however,(AC) dropping Thunder Wave means that you cannot cripple Pokemon by through spreading paralysis. An Iron Defense / Calm Mind / Scald / Rest set can be used on Mega Slowbro, as Iron Defense raises Mega Slowbro's its physical Defense and therefore lets it wall setup sweepers such as Gyarados, while Calm Mind raises its Special Defense, and Rest makes it immune to status, making Mega Slowbro very hard to knock out after it accumulates a few boosts. However, Rest makes Mega Slowbro vulnerable to attacks while it sleeps for 2 two turns. I think you might want to add to this by connecting this fact to why this set isn't common/as good as the sets above. Psyshock can be used over Psychic to hit more specially defensve defensive Pokemon such as Mantine, although most specially defensive Pokemon have ways of dealing with Mega Slowbro, like Haze in Mantine's case.

**Electric-types**:(colon) Electric-type Pokemon such as Tapu Koko, Magnezone,(AC) and Alolan Raichu deal immense damage to Slowbro with their Electric-type attacks and can grab momentum using Volt Switch.

**Grass-types**:(colon) Grass-type Pokemon such as Mega Venusaur, Tapu Bulu, and Celebi threaten Slowbro with their Grass-type attacks, although some Grass-type Pokemon such as Breloom and Ferrothorn can't afford to get getting hit by Fire Blast.

**Special Wallbreakers**:(colon) Special wallbreakers such as Gengar, Blacephalon, and Hydreigon do immense damage to Slowbro because of its poor special bulk. However, Mega Slowbro is able to take on special attackers after boosting several times with Calm Mind.

**Toxic**:(colon) Toxic users such as Gastrodon, Chansey, and Swampert wear Slowbro down by using badly poisoning it with Toxic. Being badly poisoned puts Mega Slowbro on a timer, preventing it from sweeping in the late game.

**Specially Defensive Pokemon**:(colon) Specially defensive Pokemon Walls such as Mantine, Zapdos, and Chansey wall non-Calm Mind Slowbro because while Mega Slowbro it cannot do much in return due to their high Special Defense stats without Calm Mind boosts. The latter half of this sentence after "while" was confusing to me because I wasn't sure what the difference between non-CM slowbro and the "mega slowbro" you refer to. I switched it to one potential meaning, but you should take a look and adjust to make sure it follows what you were originally trying to say. I think the key here is to make sure you make clear what Slowbro sets you are referring to. Is "Mega Slowbro" CM Slowbro? Are they the same? etc.

**Haze and Phazers**:(colon) Pokemon such as Toxapex and Mantine that carry Haze check Mega Slowbro by wiping out its stat boosts, while phazers such as Whirlwind Skarmory and Roar Swampert force Mega Slowbro to switch and remove its stat boosts.

**Taunt**:(colon) Taunt users such as Mew and Hydreigon lock Slowbro into attacking moves, which means it cannot heal itself with Slack Off, cripple Pokemon with Thunder Wave, or set up with Calm Mind.

Moves

Scald is Slowbro's main attack and has a useful burn chance that Slowbro can use to cripple physical attackers like Gyarados and Mega Lopunny with a burn. Slack Off is Slowbro's main form of reliable recovery and is used to ensure that Slowbro stays healthy throughout the battle. Thunder Wave is used to cripple fast Pokemon that cannot otherwise be beaten through Scald and Slack Off like Hydreigon, Greninja, and Latios. Fire Blast is used to hit Steel- and Grass-type Pokemon like Ferrothorn, Mega Scizor, and Bisharp.

Set Details
========

A huge reason why Slowbro is an effective pivot lies in its ability (RC) Regenerator, which keeps it healthy throughout the duration of the game by healing it a bit every time it switches out.

Usage Tips
========

Send Slowbro in to soak up physical attacks like Mega Lopunny's Return or and Excadrill's Earthquake and therefore shield your other Pokemon from getting damaged. In some situations, using Thunder Wave twice in a row is recommended, (AC) when the opposing player may switch a check directly into Slowbro, in order to cripple the Pokemon that is sent out. Use Scald constantly in order to inflict burns and wear down bulky Pokemon such as Toxapex and Celesteela. Preserve Slowbro's Colbur Berry until it is necessary to check Dark-type Pokemon, most notably Mega Sharpedo and Bisharp, later in the game. Use Thunder Wave in order to cripple Pokemon by lowering their Speed that cannot otherwise be beaten through using Slack Off and Scald such as Mega Lopunny and Mega Sharpedo. Be wary of Taunt users like Mega Gyarados looking to prevent shut Slowbro from using its utility moves and therefore shutting it down; (SC) use Scald on a predicted Taunt in order to fish for burns, crippling the opposing Pokemon.

Team Options

Choice Scarf Victini is a good partner for Slowbro, (AC) as it takes care of many of Slowbro's offensive checks such as Tapu Koko and Tapu Bulu. When using a Choice Band, Victini can break past Slowbro's defensive checks such as Chansey and Porygon2. Using V-create and U-turn means that Victini will switch out sooner or later because of the former's Defense and Speed drops and the latter's pivot side effect, which means that and Slowbro is an excellent partner for Victini to pivot into. Slowbro, in return, is out to, being able to switch into Water- and Ground-type Pokemon such as Mega Swampert and Excadrill for Victini. Latios is able to offensively check many of Slowbro's checks such as Hydreigon and Blacephalon with a Choice Scarf. Similarly to Victini, Choice Specs Latios can also beat defensive Pokemon that Slowbro struggles against. Latios also provides a resistance to Grass- and Electric-type that would otherwise threaten Slowbro. Latios and Latias pair well with Slowbro with for their Defog support, being able to remove Toxic Spikes and other hazards, while Latias is also able to heal Slowbro with Healing Wish. Celebi supports Slowbro using its Grass typing, which allows it to switch into Electric- and Grass-type attacks for Slowbro. Celebi synergizes well with Slowbro because it is able to use U-turn to pivot into out to Slowbro, which activates Regenerator, and can switch back into a potential Toxic for Slowbro and heal itself off with its Natural Cure. Slowbro also offers speed control through Thunder Wave that helps slow down opposing threats such as Greninja that could otherwise check Mega Gallade. Jirachi forms a solid defensive core with Slowbro, (AC) since it appreciates Slowbro's high Defense and Water typing that lets Slowbro switch into Fire-type attacks aimed at Jirachi, while Jirachi can switch into special attackers such as Latios and Mega Diancie that threaten Slowbro thanks to its Steel typing.

(Makes it less contradictory if the sentence about spikes is placed here) Steer Slowbro away from Toxic users like Porygon2, as being badly poisoned impedes its ability to set up and sweep.

========

Mew is a good partner for Mega Slowbro because it is able to deal with many of its Mega Slowbro's defensive checks by using Taunt and Knock Off with its stallbreaker set and use Defog to remove hazards such as Toxic Spikes that may potentially damage Mega Slowbro. Jirachi can switch into special attackers such as Latios and Mega Diancie thanks to its high Special Defense and can also heal Mega Slowbro with Healing Wish; in return, Mega Slowbro is able to protect Jirachi from physical attackers such as Excadrill and Garchomp.

Other Options
=============

Ice Beam is an option over Thunder Wave to hit Dragon- and Flying-type Pokemon such as Dragonite and Garchomp; however, dropping Thunder Wave means that you Slowbro cannot cripple Pokemon such as Mega Sharpedo and Hydreigon by spreading paralysis.

===================

Psychic
