[SET COMMENTS]
Mega Swampert is a staple pick on rain teams due to its high speed in rain, Electric immunity, and spammable STABs. Additionally, Swampert possesses fantastic bulk for its role as an physical wallbreaker.
Waterfall is Swampert’s strongest attack in the rain and is preferred over Aqua Tail thanks to its improved accuracy and chance to flinch. Earthquake is a powerful secondary STAB that has good coverage with Waterfall, enabling Swampert to deal with conventional rain checks such as Tapu Fini and Toxapex. Ice Punch is mandatory as it enables Mega Swampert to nail problematic Grass and Dragon types that resist its STAB and otherwise wall Mega Swampert. Stealth Rock is the preferred choice in the fourth slot due to Swampert’s ability to force switches, giving it many opportunities to set them throughout a match. However, Superpower can nail Pokemon such as Ferrothorn for greater damage, Stone Edge prevents Swampert from being walled by Mantine and Pelipper, while Power-Up Punch can potentially boost Swampert’s attack to dangerous levels, allowing it to sweep late-game.
Swampert prefers a simple minmaxed offensive EV spread. A Jolly nature is preferable as it enables Swampert to outrun as much of the metagame as possible, while a potential Adamant nature pairs well with a fourth attack that let Swampert hit as hard and as many targets as possible. Damp is the preferred ability because it will always Mega evolve as soon as possible so Torrent will never see use while Damp means it could theoretically switch in on Explosion or Mind Blown.
Teammates that appreciate Swampert's presence include Water types such as Manaphy, Ash-Greninja, and Pelipper, as Swampert packs an immunity to Electric and a resistance to Rock. Ash-Greninja is of particular note as Swampert is able to break down Greninja’s checks such as Tapu Fini and Toxapex, making it much easier for Greninja to transform and sweep. Swampert also deals with Fire types that threaten Ferrothorn and Corviknight, though it must be wary of burns from various sources.
Swampert, while a powerful offensive presence, requires rain support to achieve its maximum offensive potential. As such, Pelipper is mandatory to set rain, allowing Swampert to break walls and sweep. Pelipper also provides role compression in its Flying typing and Hurricane dealing with Grass types, U-turn to bring Swampert in safely, and Defog to deal with hazards. Manaphy can absorb status and deal with opponents Swampert would otherwise struggle to break. Ferrothorn is a great sponge for Grass type attacks and can free up Swampert's fourth moveslot by carrying Stealth Rock itself. Ash-Greninja provides additional entry hazard support and priority to prevent setup sweepers from getting out of hand. Defoggers such as Zapdos and Corviknight are helpful by providing free switches, Grass resistances, and hazard removal.

This formatting is very off. Please refer to other analyses and how they structure their paragraphs, there should be two paragraphs with one going over set and move details and the other talking about good teammates and how to use Mega Swampert. We will check this after it is updated.
