[SET COMMENTS]
Mega Swampert is a mainstay on rain teams due to its ability upon Mega Evolution, Swift Swim, which allows it to outpace the entire unboosted metagame while rain is active. Mega Swampert's immunity to Electric is also very useful for rain teams, as they often consist of multiple Water-type Pokemon. Earthquake hits most common Pokemon resistant to Waterfall, such as Toxapex, Kartana, and Gastrodon. Ice Punch hammers Garchomp and Kommo-o while also scoring a 2HKO on Mega Latias after Stealth Rock damage. Flip Turn allows Mega Swampert to act as an offensive pivot against threatening Pokemon such as Tangrowth and Slowbro for teammates such as Zapdos and Manaphy to take advantage of them. Damp is the chosen ability prior to Mega Evolution to situationally block Landorus-T and Mew from using Explosion. A Jolly nature is preferred to Adamant to allow Mega Swampert to outpace Choice Scarf Kartana in rain.

Due to Mega Swampert's dependence on rain in order to be an offensive threat, Pelipper is an absolute necessity. Additionally, due to its poor matchup against bulky Water-types such as Slowbro and Alomomola, teammates such as Ash-Greninja, Manaphy, and offensive Zapdos are important partners. Zapdos is an especially fantastic partner, as not only does it threaten Slowbro, Mega Venusaur, and Tangrowth for Mega Swampert, but it can also defensively handle Rillaboom. Mega Swampert also helps the aforementioned teammates punch through Gastrodon and Ferrothorn while being immune to the Electric-type attacks that they are commonly weak to. Finally, Ferrothorn is an especially nice partner, as it provides entry hazards to weaken Mega Swampert's checks while defensively answering Ash-Greninja and Kyurem.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

Superpower can be used in the last moveslot in order to eliminate Ferrothorn and Kyurem. Stealth Rock is another option, as Mega Swampert threatens the most common entry hazard removers such as Zapdos, Corviknight, and Excadrill when in rain. Bulk Up, while appealing, wastes valuable turns of rain while simply not being better than any other available option. Liquidation's slightly higher Base Power than Waterfall might also look appealing, but it doesn't improve any notable damage rolls, and Waterfall's chance to flinch is more useful overall.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Bulky Water-types**: Physically bulky Water-types such as Slowbro and Alomomola threaten out Mega Swampert due to the risk of a Scald burn. Rotom-W also forces out Mega Swampert with Will-O-Wisp while being immune or resistant to all of its STAB attacks. Toxapex cannot switch into Earthquake, but it can stomach an Earthquake from full health and threaten a Scald burn in return. However, Mega Swampert can use Flip Turn to bring in a teammate such as Manaphy or Zapdos to take advantage of these Pokemon.

**Bulky Grass-types**: Rocky Helmet Tangrowth and Mega Venusaur take minimal damage from Mega Swampert's attacks and threaten it back with an OHKO from Giga Drain. Ferrothorn also threatens Mega Swampert with Power Whip, but it is exploitable due to how easily Mega Swampert and its teammates can wear it down, and it fears Superpower.

**Strong Priority**: Priority moves bypass Mega Swampert's excellent Speed in rain. Rillaboom threatens to OHKO Mega Swampert with Grassy Glide, resists both of its STAB attacks, and is passively kept healthy due to Grassy Terrain, making it a very effective check. However, Rillaboom does have to beware catching an Ice Punch if it switches into Mega Swampert. Ash-Greninja can't switch in to Mega Swampert but threatens it with rain-boosted Water Shuriken. Other priority moves, such as Mega Lopunny and Mega Medicham's Fake Out and Mega Mawile's Sucker Punch, can wear Mega Swampert down quickly.

**Faster Pokemon Outside of Rain**: Mega Swampert's dependence on rain to outspeed the entire metagame can be exploited by Pokemon such as Kyurem, Ash-Greninja, and Mega Medicham when rain is not active. Mega Charizard Y deserves special mention, as it immediately removes rain while scaring out Mega Swampert with Solar Beam.

Mega Swampert is a mainstay on rain teams due to its ability upon Mega Evolution, Swift Swim, which allows Mega Swampert to outpace the entire unboosted metagame while rain is active, while rain also boosts the power of Waterfall. it's not just its ability that makes it a necessity on rain but its typing gives it a very needed electric immune for rain, I think it's worth adding that here Earthquake hits most common resists to Mega Swampert's Water STAB, such as Toxapex, Kartana, and Gastrodon. Ice Punch hammers Garchomp and Kommo-o while also scoring a 2HKO on Mega Latias after Stealth Rock damage. Flip Turn allows Mega Swampert to act as an offensive pivot, being able to pivot out on threatening Pokemon such as Tangrowth and Slowbro for teammates such as Zapdos and Manaphy to take advantage of. Damp is the chosen ability prior to Mega Evolution to situationally block Landorus-T and Mew from using Explosion against hyper offensive teams. A Jolly nature is preferred to Adamant to allow Mega Swampert to outpace a boosted Magearna as well as Choice Scarf Kartana under rain.

Due to Mega Swampert's dependence on rain in order to be an offensive threat, Pelipper is a necessary partner you need to emphasize this much more heavily because its viability is exclusively tied to Pelipper's rain, say how Pelipper is mandatory / an absolute necessity with Mega Swampert . Additionally, due to Mega Swampert's poor matchup against bulky Water-types such as Slowbro and Alomomola, teammates such as Ash-Greninja, Manaphy, and offensive Zapdos are important partners. Zapdos is also a fantastic partner, as not only does it threaten Slowbro, Mega Venusaur, and Tangrowth for Mega Swampert, but it can also defensively handle Rillaboom. it would read better if you move the Zapdos point to where you mention Pokemon that threaten bulky Water-types

Tiny little error that I noticed and wanted to save you some time on, but in the paragraph about bulky Grass types, and when mentioning Ferrothorn, it isn’t “weary” of Superpower, it’s “wary.”
Uhhh I’m not a C&C guy or anything like that but it was just a little thing I noticed that ought to be changed, so there you go.
