[SET COMMENTS]
Mega Venusaur is a great defensive Pokemon for Poison teams thanks to its decent movepool, recovery in two reliable forms, and amazing defensive typing, which allow it to threaten Water-types like Mega Swampert and Keldeo and come in on Electric-types such as Tapu Koko and Magnezone. Its great bulk allows it to also take on physical attackers such as Mega Lopunny and Excadrill. Giga Drain hits Ground-, Rock-, and Water-types like Hippowdon, Gastrodon, Azumarill, Terrakion, and Mega Diancie. Sludge Bomb is Mega Venusaur's strongest STAB option that greatly dents Fairy-and Grass-types like Tapu Koko, Tapu Bulu, and Rillaboom. It is also useful for its 30% poison chance against specially defensive walls like Mega Sableye, Mantine, and Zapdos. Mega Venusaur can use Leech Seed over Sludge Bomb to give it and its teammates passive recovery. Hidden Power Fire makes does good damage to Excadrill and prevents Mega Venusaur from being fodder for Mega Scizor's setup and Ferrothorn's entry hazards. Synthesis keeps Mega Venusaur healthy throughout the match. Venusaur gains Thick Fat upon Mega Evolution, which halves damage taken from Fire- and Ice-type attacks from Blacephalon, Greninja, and Alolan Ninetales, and it also prevents a 2HKOfrom Choice Scarf Victini 's V-create. 16 Speed EVs are used to outpace Adamant Azumarill. The remaining EVs maximize Mega Venusaur's physical bulk so it can tank physical attacks from Pokemon such as Landorus-T, Mega Lopunny, and Excadrill.

Toxapex forms a great defensive core with Mega Venusaur, providing Haze to check setup sweepers that exploit Mega Venusaur such as Dragonite, Aegislash, Volcarona, and Mega Scizor. It switches into Mega Charizard Y and pressures the opposition with Toxic Spikes and Scald as well. Mega Venusaur in return can check Electric-types like Zeraora and Tapu Koko and switch into Ground-type attacks from Gastrodon and Hippowdon. Nihilego can set Stealth Rock and take care of Fire- and Flying-types like Mega Charizard Y, Tornadus-T, and Zapdos. Nidoking can also provide Stealth Rock support while also being a great wallbreaker that can 2HKO Mega Sableye using Earth Power, and break through Heatran + Celesteela. Nidoking can also beat Flying-types such as Zapdos and Gliscor, and in return, Mega Venusaur can switch into Ice- and Water-types like Weavile and Urshifu-R. Levitate Galarian Weezing gives the team immunity to Dragon and Ground as well as support in Will-O-Wisp and Defog. Drapion can set Toxic Spikes and switch into Psychic-type attacks from Tapu Lele, Latias, and Latios and Pursuit trap them. Alolan Muk is another Dark-type option that can use Curse, Rest, and Knock Off to take care of Psychic-types. Both Dark-types switch into Ghost-type attacks from Pokemon such as Gengar as well. Galarian Slowking can help against special attackers such as Kyurem and switch in on Psychic-types like Tapu Lele, Latios, and Alolan Raichu.

- Reword the first sentence to "Mega Venusaur is a great defensive Pokemon for Poison thanks to its access to a decent movepool, recovery in two reliable forms and amazing defensive typing which allows it to threaten Water-types like [add examples] and allows it to come in on Electric-types such as Tapu Koko and Magnezone. Its great bulk allows it to take on physical attackers such as Mega Lopunny and Excadrill."
- Remove the Leech Seed mention in the first sentence and move it after the Sludge Bomb mention.
- Add that Giga Drain hits Ground-, Rock- and Water-types followed by the examples you've already mentioned in the order of the types
- Add that Giga Drain also recovers HP and acts as a passive form of recovery
- Mention that Sludge Bomb is Venusaur's strongest available STAB option
- Add that Sludge Bomb also has a 30% Poison chance which can help greatly against defensive walls like Mantine, Mega Sableye, and Zapdos
- In the Synthesis sentence add that Synthesis is its main form of recovery
- Remove Jirachi as a threat that HP Fire helps against, add Celesteela as a threat that HP Fire helps against and add that it prevents Mega Scizor from using Venusaur as setup bait
- Rephrase the first bit of the Mega Evolving sentence to mention that Venusaurite is used to mega evolve Venusaur
- Add that Thick Fat also helps against V Create from Victini, preventing the 2HKO from Scarf Victini
- "....Thick Fat which allows it to tank halves damage taken from Fire- and Ice-type attacks..."
- "252 HP with 240 Defensive EVs and a Bold nature allows maximizes Mega Venusaur's physical bulk allowing it to tank physical attacks from Pokemon such as Landorus-T, Mega Lopunny and Excadrill."

- Remove Greninja as a Water type that Venusaur helps against since they run Extrasensory sometimes, change to Mega Swampert
- Remove Cinderace as a threat that the physical bulk helps against since they run Zen Headbutt often, replace with something like Weavile or Mamoswine
- Add that Toxapex + Mega Venusaur form a solid defenesive backbone for Poison
- Add that Toxapex can also reliably switch in against some of Mega Venusaur's threats like Mega Charizard-Y
- Rephrase the Haze sentence to something like "Haze helps against setup users like x, y and z that can take advantage of Mega Venusaur." Add Dragonite and Aegislash as threats that Haze helps against
- Add that Toxapex can also provide Toxic Spikes support and spread burns with Scald and in return Mega Venusaur also provides a resistance against Electric-type attack and a Ground neutrality
- Add that Nidoking is a strong wallbreaker and add Mega Sableye as a threat that it helps against which Venusaur may struggle against since Earth Power 2HKOs Mega Sableye. Add that Thunderbolt + Ice Beam also helps significantly against Flying-types since it hits all Flying types for supereffective damage and mention Mega Venusaur in return gives you a switch in against Ice- and Water-type attacks directed at Nidoking
- Add Galarian Weezing as a teammate, its sometimes preferred over Crobat. Add that it gives you a immunity against Dragon-type attacks and a Ground immunity thanks to Levitate. It can also spread burns with Will-O-Wisp and provide Defog support. However, mention that Mold Breaker Excadrill can deal with it.
- Add that Crobat provides Defog support as well and Taunt sets can check walls like Ferrothorn and Blissey. Brave Bird helps against some threats to Mega Venusaur like Mega Gallade
- Rephrase the Alolan Muk sentence to mention that it can pursuit trap Psychic-type threats (Latios, Latias, Tapu Lele etc) and provides an immunity against Psychic-type attacks
- Add Drapion along with Alolan Muk as a Dark-type that helps with Psychic-types, since Drapion is sometimes used over Muk after the berry nerf and mention that it can also provide Toxic Spikes support. Add that both of them also provide a resistance against Ghost-type attacks from Spectrier and Gengar.
- Add that Nihilego can run Stealth Rocks at times
- Add Galarian Slowking as a teammate option. Add that it helps against threats like Specs or Sub Kyurem and special attacks in general. Provides a secondary switch in against Psychic type special attacks as well

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]

- "Mega Venusaur is a great defensive Pokemon for Poison thanks to its access to a decent movepool, recovery in two reliable forms and amazing defensive typing which allows it to threaten Water-types like and allows it to come in on Electric-types such as Tapu Koko and Magnezone." You missed out on adding the Water-type examples that it helps against
- "Its great bulk that allows it to take on physical attackers such as Mega Lopunny and Excadrill."
- "Toxapex is a great partner to pair with Mega Venusaur as they form a great defensive core, provide Haze helps against setup sweepers such as Dragonite, Aegislash, and Volcocrona and Mega Scizor that would try to take advangte of it."
- "Mega Venusaur in return can serve as a resistence to Electric-type attacks from Zeraora and be neutral to Ground-type attacks from Gastrodon and Hippowdon." Add Tapu Koko as an example of Electric-types
- "Nidoking can also use Ice Beam and Thunderbolt to beat Flying-types such as Zapdos and Gliscor that Mega Venusaur struggles with and in return, can switch into Ice- and Water-types for Mega Venusaur." Mega Venusaur switches into Ice- and Water-types, not the other way around, reword that
- "Crobat is essential for Poison-type teams as its Flying-typing allows it to come in on Ground-type attacks from Landorus that could give Mega Venusaur trouble and Earthquake for its other teammates." Remove the word essential since its not mandatory, reword the sentence accordingly
- Add that Galarian Weezing gives you an immunity against a Ground immunity thanks to Levitate. It can also spread burns with Will-O-Wisp and provide Defog support.
- "Both Alolan Muk and Drapion provide resistence from Grass-type attacks from Pokemon such as Spectrier and Gengar."

- hpfire barely touches celesteela
- replace the infernape example, its kinda irrelevant
- poison doesn't really need mega venu to beat weavile or mimikyu, toxapex takes both on better anyway

Toxapex is a great partner to pair with Mega Venusaur as they form a great defensive core, provide Haze helps against setup sweepers such as Dragonite, Aegislash, and Volcorona Volcarona, Mega Scizor that would try to take advantage of it.

Nidoking provides Stealth Rock, while also being a great wallbreaker to 2HkO 2HKO Mega Sableye using Earth Power, and can use the combonation combination of Earth Power and Flamethower to get rid of Heatran and Celesteela that Mega Venusaur has trouble beating.

- give examples of what water and ice type attacks mvenu switches into for nidoking
- remove crobat as a teammate, galar weezing is far superior
- would make drapion the main example of a dark type then mention alolan muk w/ a curse rest set after it
- move nihilego up in teammates to right below toxapex

[other options]
- earth power should only be used over sludge bomb, never drop hpfire
- for the evs that outpace jolly azu, make it max hp, then the rest in defense after u invest in speed

[checks & counters]
- alolan raichu is a weird psychic example since its p weak before a nasty plot boost

**Flying-types**: Flying-types such as Tornudus-T Tornadus-T, Zapdos, Dragonite and Corviknight can outpace and either 2HKO or OHKO Mega Venusaur with Hurricune Hurricane, Dual Wingbeat, or Brave Bird.

**Wallbreakers**: Pokemon like Mega Charizard Y, Choice Specs users like Hydreigion Hydreigon and Kyurem, Choice Band users such as Victini, Dragonite, and Mamoswine and Life Orb users like Landorus can all take care of Mega Venusaur with their powerful attacks.

**Stallbreakers**: Heatran, Mew, and Gliscor carry Taunt which hinders Mega Venusaur from using Sythensis Synthesis and Leech Seed and can take care of it with their attacks.

There were far too many common moves, pokemon, and im sure other things misspelled in this analysis. I know you can do better, so at least check for this basic stuff before submitting future things into qc and double check this before it goes into gp, thanks!
