Megas For All: V4! (Voting - Lickilicky, Togekiss, Dusknoir)

Would you guys be interested if I had MFA include Gen 8 mons when it comes out?

Thundurus: Ezaphs, Anaconja, Shoopz_Whisper

Tornadus: Ezaphs, Anaconja, Shoopz_Whisper

Landorus: Ezaphs, Anaconja, Shoopz_Whisper

Ezaphs wins Thundurus and Landorus, and Anaconja wins Tornadus. Next slate is as follows:

Pokemon who gained the Fairy-type in Gen 6
2 new moves for each. Azumarill can have any ability level, as the base form has a level 5 ability, the rest have a limit of 4.

Fairies. Are. Cute. Or not. Let's change how we see Fairies by giving them mega evolutions that will stop at nothing to destroy their opponents!

Azumarill-Mega
Ability: Thick Fat / Sap Sipper / Huge Power ----> Huge Power
Typing: Water/Fairy

Stats:

HP: 100 ----> 100
Attack: 50 ----> 90 (+40)
Defense: 80 ----> 90 (+10)
Special Attack: 60 ----> 40 (-20)
Special Defense: 80 ----> 90 (+10)
Speed: 50 ----> 110 (+60)
Base Stat Total: 420 ----> 520
Movepool Additions: Fake Out, Swords Dance
Description: This guy really knows what's moving around in the rivers and what's not! Mega Azumarill's sensing skills have only gotten better, being able to recognize different kinds of prey from as far as 200 miles. With its improved bulk, speed, and base attack, as well as Swords Dance, this guy can and will make for one of the most potent wallbreakers in OU. Despite this, its main downside is somewhat average speed tier meaning that this guy can find itself in trouble against some Choice Scarf users and offensive teams, not to mention that its SD set can be better accomplished by pokemon such as Garchomp and Mega Mawile; the former doesn't take up your mega slot and has more immediate power even without SD, while the latter, again, has more immediate power but can afford to forego Steel-Type STAB for coverage moves to hit some of its checks/counters.

Mr. Mime-Mega
Ability: Soundproof / Filter / Technician ----> Magic Guard
Typing: Psychic/Fairy

Stats:

HP: 40
Attack: 45 ----> 25 (-20)
Defense: 65 ----> 95 (+30)
Special Attack: 100 ----> 140 (+40)
Special Defense: 120
Speed: 90 ----> 140 (+50)
Base Stat Total: 460 ----> 560
Movepool Additions: Moonblast, Recover
Description: Wondering why all of your hazards can't chip down this guy? Well, I'll answer your question: that's all you're going to do around Mega Mr. Mime, and probably nothing else of note. With its passable bulk, great speed, solid offenses, and access to Nasty Plot, once this guy gets off a Nasty Plot, good luck walling this - for your team is already pretty much getting shredded into pieces. Unless you have a Choice Scarf user or something. (Trust me, you do not want to switch in on this guy if it's at +2. Just warning you).

Granbull-Mega
Ability: Intimidate / Quick Feet / Rattled ----> Tough Claws
Typing: Fairy/Dark

Stats:

HP: 90
Attack: 120 ----> 130 (+10)
Defense: 75 ----> 115 (+40)
Special Attack: 60 ----> 30 (-30)
Special Defense: 60 ----> 95 (+35)
Speed: 45 ----> 90 (+45)
Base Stat Total: 450 ----> 550
Movepool Additions: Swords Dance, Pursuit
Description: Timid and sensitive - turned vicious and ready to kill. Yep. That's how you describe Mega Granbull. This hellhound, once a timid bulldog, will stop at nothing to tear its prey into bloody bits and eat the remains of its helpless victims. With significantly better bulk, improved speed tier, decently high attack stat, and access to Swords Dance, not to mention a good movepool to back it up, this hellhound will ravage the OU meta as it is right now, and leave nothing but burning and battered destruction in its wake. Good thing pokemon such as Magearna are already popular as otherwise this hound could potentially just turn the OU meta into a post-apocalyptic wasteland!

In no world is 100 attack+pure power, alongside 100 speed and 100/95/95 bulk AND belly drum AND STAB priority ever balanced.
Never mind, Mega Azumarill doesn't even need Belly Drum! It can go all-out offensive and not give a heck about Belly Drum. Also, yeah, that attack stat was too much, reduced it to 90.
EDIT: Removed Belly Drum mention, made speed a bit higher to reduce over-reliance on priority (Fake Out is NOT STAB).

awesome gaming

Granbull-Mega
Stats:
90 / 130 (+10) / 125 (+50) / 60 / 100 (+40) / 45 (550 BST)
Ability: Intimidate
New Moves: Iron Head, Slack Off
Type: Fairy/Steel
Description: Granbull gains spiked brass knuckles and grows a little helmet over his ears and forehead. His collar grows bigger and bright red with a label that says "Mega Granbull" on it as if it were a real life dog tag.

Azumarill-Mega
Stats:
100 / 75 (+25) / 105 (+25) / 60 / 115 (+35) / 65 (+15) (520 BST)
Ability: Huge Power
New Moves: Dragon Tail, Fake Out
Type: Water/Fairy
Description: much more fluffy with tail having a big fist at the end

Mr. Mime-Mega
Stats:
40 / 45 / 125 (+60) / 100 / 150 (+30) / 100 (+10) (560 BST)
Ability: Mage Hand
Mage Hand: Physical moves run off this Pokemon's special attack stat and gain a 1.3x boost
New Moves: +Play Rough, Rock Slide
Type: Psychic/Fairy
Description: Its hands have detached, grown in size and constantly prop up pink glass barriers that rotate around it.

Azumarill-Mega
Ability: Thick Fat / Sap Sipper / Huge Power ----> Sap Sipper
Typing: Water/Fairy

Stats:

HP: 100 ----> 100
Attack: 50 ----> 80 (+30)
Defense: 80 ----> 120 (+40)
Special Attack: 60 ----> 60 (+0)
Special Defense: 80 ----> 100 (+20)
Speed: 50 ----> 60 (+10)
Base Stat Total: 420 ----> 520
Movepool Additions: Pain Split, Bulk Up
Description: Tapu Fini in OU, but with Perish Song, recovery (albeit unreliable), and immunity to grass. It does still exchange not being able to hold Leftovers, being a mega, and no status immunity, but it will do nicely as a pivot in OU.

Mr. Mime-Mega
Ability: Soundproof / Filter / Technician ----> Dazzling
Typing: Psychic/Fairy

Stats:

HP: 40
Attack: 45 ----> (+0)
Defense: 65 ----> 80 (+15)
Special Attack: 100 ----> 145 (+45)
Special Defense: 120 ----> 120 (+0)
Speed: 90 ----> 130 (+40)
Base Stat Total: 460 ----> 560
Movepool Additions: Moonblast, Nasty Plot
Description: Mr Mime Mega becomes a late game sweeper with Nasty Plot and powerful STABs. It does struggle to get past steels, in combination with its low bulk, but it should still be a good addition in OU with support from the likes of Magnezone, Heatran, etc.

Granbull-Mega
Ability: Intimidate / Quick Feet / Rattled ----> Magic Guard
Typing: Fairy/Fighting

Stats:

HP: 90
Attack: 120 ----> 130 (+10)
Defense: 75 ----> 95 (+20)
Special Attack: 60 ----> 60 (-0)
Special Defense: 60 ----> 90 (+30)
Speed: 45 ----> 85 (+40)
Base Stat Total: 450 ----> 550
Movepool Additions: Slack Off, Flare Blitz
Description: Designed to be a stall breaker in OU, this thing takes a physical, more offensive role than our other Magic Guard Fairy pokemon, Clefable. While it’s typing is a bit worse and it is more susceptible to mons like Landorus-Thedian, it makes up with good moves to pair with its ability and better stats in general.

Special Defense: 120 ----> 130 (+10)
Speed: 90 ----> 120 (+30)
Base Stat Total: 460 ----> 560
Movepool Additions: Moonblast, Recover
Description: Shadow Shield is based on Mr. Mime's ability to create invisible barriers. It also aids Mr. Mime in setting up Nasty Plot and sweep. Mooblast gives it a stronger Fairy STAB while Recover lets it regain its bulk-gaining ability.

Granbull-Mega
Ability: Intimidate / Quick Feet / Rattled----> Strong Jaw
Typing: Fairy/Dark

Stats:

HP: 90 ----> 90
Attack: 120 ----> 150 (+30)

Special Defense: 60 ----> 100 (+40)
Speed: 45 ----> 45
Base Stat Total: 450 ----> 550
Movepool Additions: Psychic Fangs, Drain Punch
Description: Granbull is a Pokemon whose bite is definitely stronger than its bark. Strong Jaw because of of its remarkable lower Jaw. Dark-typing to give Crunch a further boost while Drain Punch gives it decent recovery thanks to its high Attack stat.

Azumarill-Mega
Ability: Thick Fat / Huge Power / Sap Sipper ----> Water Bubble

So do ability limits not exist btw?? Seems kinda pointless to set them in place if they're able to be ignored, no?

Competitive: Azumarill-Mega receives a heavy attack boost. This matches up with the likes of Mega Medicham and Mega Mawile. Adding too much bulk would make this thing broken, so some stats are dumped into special attack. Azumarill receives no speed upon mega evolving. It can compromise with access to STAB priority Aqua Jet. No Sitrus Berry or Normalium Z makes Belly Drum bad, even with the added bulk. Earthquake allows Azumarill to nail Toxapex and Magearna super effectively. It also hits Pokemon like Amoonguss or Ferrothorn for neutral damage, similarly to Knock Off. With access to Stealth Rock, Azu becomes quite the reliable setter. Offensively, it can pressure a majority of opposing hazard setters and hazard removers. Having Huge Power upon mega evolution means Azumarill can afford to run Sap Sipper before evolving, making Pokemon like Serperior or Charizard-Mega-Y think twice before clicking a Grass-type attack.

Flavor: To pay homage to Azurill, Mega Azumarill appears to be sitting on a bubble (like how Azurill sat on its tail). Its ears grow black tips like Pikachu. The circular patterns on Azumarill's body become ring-like patterns upon mega evolution. Underneath each arm, Mega Azu also has small "waves" of water flowing out.

Azumarill @ Azumarite
Ability: Sap Sipper
EVs: 84 HP / 252 Atk / 172 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Liquidation
- Stealth Rock / Aqua Jet
- Play Rough
- Earthquake

Competitive: Mr. Mime-Mega is a premier stallbreaker. It adds heavy pressure to common stall megas such as Sableye- or Aggron-Mega. Due to its ability to force many switches, Spikes is a solid option on offensive sets. 40/80/142 bulk leaves a lot to be desired on the physical side, making it still prone to Pokemon like Scarf Landorus, Sucker Punch users, etc.

Flavor: Mr. Mime's mega evolution grows small wings, and it barely levitates over the ground. Its "ears" grow in size and curl around at the ends. On its knees and elbows, Mega Mr. Mime has small translucent walls attached. It also grows a large pink ball on top of its head.

Mr. Mime @ MrMimite
Ability: Soundproof
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Psychic
- Moonblast
- Focus Blast
- Taunt / Spikes

Competitive: Granbull goes from a support Pokemon to the forefront. Its role is as a potent wallbreaker. Sporting nearly perfect coverage, Granbull-Mega can punish many switches. Its flaws lie in its poor speed and lackluster 90/100/70 bulk. Intimidate (before evolving) allows Granbull to find opportunities against physical attackers, though. It appreciates slow pivots to bring it in safely and to provide chip damage.

Flavor: Granbull-Mega has two large boxing gloves that are torn up by its large claws. A pink cloud foams from Granbull's mouth. Its collar and wrist-wear become covered in spikes and are hot pink. A small, broken chain is visible extending from its collar. Granbull-Mega belly becomes hot pink.

Granbull @ Granbullite
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 184 HP / 252 Atk / 72 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Play Rough
- Close Combat
- Psychic Fangs
- Thunder Wave / Heal Bell / Drain Punch

I guess adding Quiver Dance was crossing the line lol. Changed it to Work Up, at least it's now stuck at 50 Speed without any defensive boosts and special priority.

Pokemon: Granbull-Mega
Type: Fairy/Ground
Ability: Thick Fat
Stats: 90 HP / 140 Atk (+20) / 95 Def (+20) / 60 SpA / 120 SpD (+60) / 45 Spe (550 BST)
Move Additions: Slack Off, Stealth Rock
Description: OH LAWD HE COMIN'. Granbulls aren't exactly the most active species, and Mega Granbull takes it to the next level, becoming a right chonker of a spoiled housepet. It's not all bark and no bite, either, with a fearsome STAB combination backed up by a Base 140 Attack stat and infinite coverage. Less timid but more stubborn than its base form, good luck moving this absolute unit out of your way.

Granbull @ Granbulite
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpD
Impish Nature
- Play Rough
- Earthquake
- Stealth Rock / Heal Bell
- Slack Off

Physically defensive Mega Granbull is an interesting option over Mega Aggron for stallier teams, losing the immunity to Toxic (if not running Heal Bell) and a better matchup vs Grasses but gaining reliable recovery and a better matchup vs Electrics and Fires. Ice Punch or Fire Punch can be run over either STAB move to maim their usual targets.

Granbull @ Granbulite
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 248 HP / 252 SpD / 8 Def
Careful Nature
- Play Rough
- Earthquake
- Bulk Up
- Slack Off / Rest

Okay, chonk jokes aside, this is the set I designed this thing for. Bulk Up has very few good users, but with massive special bulk, excellent two-move coverage and recovery, this should be one of them. For example, it 1v1s Ferro even without Fire Punch, which is just ridiculous considering that it's weak to both Grass and Steel.

+2 0 Atk Granbull Earthquake vs. 252 HP / 24 Def Ferrothorn: 223-264 (63.3 - 75%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery and Leech Seed recovery
0 Atk Ferrothorn Power Whip vs. +2 248 HP / 8 Def Granbull: 128-152 (33.4 - 39.6%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Leech Seed damage

Mega Mr. Mime

Ability -
Soundproof, Filter, Technician → Trace
HP - 40 → 40
Atk - 45 → 40 (-5)
Def - 65 → 40 (-15)
SpA - 100 → 160 (+60)
SpD - 120 → 160 (+40)
Spe - 90 → 120 (+30)
BST - 460 → 560 (+100)

Megastone → Mimite
Movepool Additions → Recover
Competitive Analysis → Trace fits perfectly because, you know, Mime? But it allows it to act as a Heatran check and kind of resemble Mega Alakazam in a way, pros include better special bulk, Nasty Plot, and a secondary STAB, offset by lower Speed and Special Attack.

Mega Azumarill

Ability -
Thick Fat, Huge Power, Sap Sipper → Huge Power
HP - 100 → 100
Atk - 50 → 60 (+10)
Def - 80 → 100 (+20)
SpA - 60 → 80 (+20)
SpD - 80 → 100 (+20)
Spe - 50 → 80 (+30)
BST - 420 → 520 (+100)

Megastone → Azumarrite
Movepool Additions →
Competitive Analysis →
Azumaril but slightly stronger, bulkier, and faster. Making it less reliant on Aqua Jet to clean up, but still bait to the likes of Lele, Mega Breloom, and fast water resists. Not much to say, really.

Mega Granbull

Ability -
Intimidate, Quick Feet, Rattled → Intimidate
HP - 90 → 90
Atk - 120 → 150 (+30)
Def - 75 → 90 (+15)
SpA - 60 → 50 (-10)
SpD - 60 → 120 (+60)
Spe - 45 → 50 (+10)
BST - 450 → 550 (+100)

Megastone → Granbullite
Movepool Additions → Slack Off, Power Trip
Competitive Analysis → Mega Granbull can act as a strong physical pivot / wall, with a really good typing (both offensively and defensively) and a one-time double Intimidate to stop nearly any physical setup sweeper. Your standard double STAB + Slack Off + Thunder Wave set is sure to be great and Bulk Up + Power Trip is also a reasonable option with special defense investment. Nothing groundbreaking, but I feel like it should be alright.

Hey, when is voting going to start? I would hate to see this thread die as this has got to be one of my favorite Pet Mods - it allows for creativity and really utilizes your imagination. (Next time, to the owner of this Pet Mod, you might want to specify a timeframe for submissions and voting.)

Yung Dramps

awesome gaming
I think submission/voting time can be cut down significantly to like 3-4 days each. I know from managing or looking at other pet mods that the bulk of submissions happen in that time and drawing it out for too long can lead to longevity issues.
