Ability: Huge Power
Stats:
- HP: 90
- Atk: 70 --> 100 (+30)
- Def: 80 --> 100 (+20)
- SpA: 70 --> 90 (+20)
- SpD: 95 --> 105 (+10)
- Spe: 70 --> 90 (+20)
- BST: 475 --> 575
New Moves: Icicle Crash, Agility

Dewgong's always had trouble standing out in the competitive scene. It's too weak to be an offensive mon, and its poor defensive typing and lack of recovery prevent it from entering a support role. With this upgrade, I'm attempting to transform it from a passive grinning doofus into a destructive living torpedo. Its playstyle will mostly revolve around getting it in safely and spamming Icicle Crash and Liquidation until something dies, or sending it in after a KO to score a revenge kill with Aqua Jet or Ice Shard. (Or Fake Out. Did you know that this thing gets Fake Out?)

This isn't to say that Mega Dewgong is unstoppable, of course. Its decent-at-best speed and bad defensive typing ensure that it's pretty easy to wear down, especially since it's weak to Stealth Rock. Additionally, Ice/Water isn't a very good offensive typing either, and its coverage options are limited, which means that bulky waters like Slowbro and Alomomola can usually switch into it without a problem.

Lapras-Mega
Ability: Water Absorb/Shell Armor/Hydration ----> Solid Rock
Typing: Water/Ice

Stats:
HP:
130 ----> 130
Attack: 85 ----> 115 (+30)
Defense: 80 ----> 100 (+20)
Special Attack: 85 ----> 115 (+30)
Special Defense: 95 ----> 115 (+20)
Speed: 60 ----> 60
BST: 535 ----> 635 (+100)
Movepool Additions: Calm Mind, Icicle Crash
Height: 2.5m -> 2.8m (+0.3m)
Weight: 220kg -> 250kg (+30kg)
Description: You get both CM and Curse at your disposal, not to mention Icicle Crash to make Curse sets actually worth using. Also Drill Run helps a lot, though Bug/Waters will give you trouble. Still, neither of you likes Rocks, and CM sets get Thunderbolt to remedy this issue, on top of STABs to get BoltBeam and Water for whatever resists that. (Lanturn and Seaking, with the right abilities, resist all three moves, but both have to be wary of Curse sets) Also decent 130/100/115 bulk for a mon with nice Attack and SpA and moves that can bolster said offenses further alongside their corresponding defenses.

Mega Dewgong
Ability
: Hydration/Ice Body/Thick Fat ----> Serene Grace
Typing: Water/Ice ----> Water
Stats:
HP: 90
Attack: 70 ----> 70 (+0)
Defense: 80 ----> 110 (+30)

Base Stat Total: 475 ----> 575 (+100)
Movepool Additions: Scald, Dragon Tail
Description: Dewgong finally gains a niche as a status spreader with Scald and Serene Grace, and loses many weaknesses by becoming pure Water. However, while STAB Scald with 60% chance to burn may seem overpowered, Mega Dewgong still has no reliable recovery, and takes SE damage from rocks before mega evolving.

Mega Walrein
Ability
: Ice Body/Thick Fat/Oblivious ----> Fatty (Fluffy clone, takes 1/2 damage from non-contact moves, but takes double damage from Grass-type moves.)
Typing: Water/Ice

Movepool Additions: Slack Off, Thunderbolt
Description: Mega Walrein becomes a solid bulky offense option, with 110/120/100 bulk and taking half from non-contact moves. It still has to watch out for Grass Knot, most Fighting-type moves, and some Rock and Electric-type moves that are super-effective contact moves.

Shell Armor/Water Absorb/HydrationStorm Drain

New Moves
: Wish, Draco Meteor

  • Water/Dragon is a better typing defensively than Water/Ice, though it's not as strong offensively
  • Amazing 130/120/135 bulk allows Lapras to sponge hits from even powerful attackers.
  • Storm Drain allows pseudo setup by Lapras on projected Water type moves.
  • Wish gives Lapras a semi reliable form of recovery while also supporting its teammates; Draco Meteor is a powerful Dragon STAB for offensive sets
Calcs:

Thick Fat/Hydration/Ice BodyThick Fat

New Moves
: Scald, Slack Off

  • Water/Steel is a significantly better defensive typing than Water/Ice. 90/120/135 bulk is pretty good and allows Dewgong to compete against a bunch of solid offensive Pokemon.
  • Thick Fat provides the same boost as it did before, making Fire type moves a resistance from being neutral and Ice type moves a 1/8th resistance
  • Scald is a must for a defensive oriented water type; Slack Off provides Dewgong with much needed reliable recovery.

Calcs:

Thick Fat/Ice Body/ObliviousBlubber Shield (Thick Fat clone, damage from fighting and rock type moves is halved)

New Moves: Slack Off, Scald

  • Fantastic mixed 110/135/135 bulk.
  • While “Blubber Shield” doesn't grant Walrein a new resistance and allow it to sponge ice type moves as well as Thick Fat, it removes two extremely common and kind of crippling weaknesses.
  • Slack Off is desperately needed reliable recovery for Walrein, since it lacks any outside of Rest. Scald is a fantastic move for a defensive water type.
  • Ice/water is still not a good type defensively. Trading Thick Fat for its clone means Walrein only has two resistances.

Gonna copy and paste my format from Mega Mirrors over here lol.

Name of Pokemon: Lapras-Mega
Name of New Mega Stone [X or Y]: Laprasite
New Mega's Type:

New Mega's Ability: Snow Warning
New Mega's Stats: 130 / 80 / 95 / 125 / 95 / 110 (-5 Atk, +15 Def, +40 SpA, +50 Spe)
Weight Change (if any): No change in weight at all, Mega form stays at 220kg
New Moves (if any): Draco Meteor, Focus Blast
Flavor (Optional): In the distant past, unlike the one that we are used to today, Lapras were powerful, but extremely rare dragons that chose to make their home in the coldest and harshest places possible, in order to avoid contact with dangerous foreigners and to protect their homes. Over time, they made their home there, adapting to slide across the snow and ice at blistering speeds and even summon terrible blizzards themselves in order to hide their families from the outside world. However, over time, many were chased out of their home by the likes of Mamoswines and Glalies, and as a result fled into the oceans to get away. Their bodies once again adapted to their new environment, swimming across the seas with the same comfort as they had slid across snow. After many confrontations with kind and helpful explorers sailing across the seas, they lost their hostile approach to the world, and as a result not only became commonplace to see alongside people and trainers, but also lost their connection to the terrible blizzards and draconic background that defined their ancestors. However, this mega stone, forged in the cold of a mountain known for its hostile winds and blizzards, was created with the aim to bring back this forgotten side and potential of Lapras. Its mind reverts back to its ancient state, becoming distrustful and cautious of the world around it once more, and unleashing the blizzards that had once been its home.

Yes, Dewgong, finally!

Mega Dewgong
Ability:
Moxie
HP: 90
Atk: 70 --> 115 (+45)
Def: 80 --> 105 (+25)
SpA: 70 --> 80 (+10)
SpD: 95 --> 95 (+0)
Spe: 70 --> 90 (+20)

New Moves: Sucker Punch, Extreme Speed
Description: Of course I'm going to make it revolve around its priorities! Dewgong might be a nice, calm seal but Dewgong-Mega turns into a leopard seal and is here to eat you alive. Its whiskers lets it react much more faster to the preys it wants to surprise, thus the heavy use of priority moves.
Moxie because it gets stronger when it kills and devours its prey.
It has to either set up or prey on weak foes but it can snowball quite easily once it starts feeding. It can use Liquidation to get an easier time killing, or go full priority for coverage.
Like in real life, it fears big bulky attackers that will kill poor Dewgong before it can feast upon their bodies.

Mega Lapras
Ability:
Solid Rock
HP: 130
Atk: 85 --> 110 (+25)
Def: 80 --> 105 (+25)
SpA: 85 --> 85 (+0)
SpD: 95 --> 115 (+20)
Spe: 60 --> 90 (+30)

New Moves: Rock Slide, Stone Edge
Description: A powerful Dragon Dancer using its ability, bulk and/or Substitute to set up. Water/Rock has great coverage in itself and Lapras has good moves like Smart Strike/Iron Head, Drill Run, Ice Shard/Avalanche, etc. Be wary of its accuracy, with many of its moves being between 80 and 95%.
Still, the new crystal-shell Lapras is a force of nature you can't underestimate!

Mega Walrein
Ability:
Gooey
HP: 110
Atk: 80 --> 110 (+30)
Def: 90 --> 110 (+20)
SpA: 95 --> 105 (+10)
SpD: 90 --> 130 (+40)
Spe: 65 --> 65 (+0)

New Moves: Clear Smog, Poison Fang
Description: That's what you get when you let your heir grow too much without shampooing them a lot. You get dirty, stinky and poisonous.
Can be an aggressive Curse set that spreads status while hitting super hard (Ice/Poison is a surprisingly nice coverage especially with Earthquake).
It can be a Smogger/Roarer that prevents set-up while destroying your HP with Super Fang. And of course it keeps Toxic and the tools it already has.
Definitely not OU but a nice Mega that has good options and a cool meme typing.

Dewgong-Mega
Ability: Thick Fat / Hydration / Ice Body ---> Refrigerate
Typing: Water/Ice

Stats:

HP: 90 ----> 90
Attack: 70 ----> 130 (+60)
Defense: 80 ----> 100 (+20)
Special Attack: 70 ----> 70
Special Defense: 95 ----> 105 (+10)
Speed: 70 ----> 80 (+10)
Base Stat Total: 475 ----> ~575
Movepool Additions: Swords Dance, Double-Edge
Description: Mega Dewgong has Refrigerate-boosted Fake Out to chip down or revenge kill its opponents, especially Dragon-types and Landorus-T. It can also run a dual-priority set with Aqua Jet or Ice Shard. It can also function as a wallbreaker with Liquidation and Refrigerate-boosted Double-Edge. Swords Dance is also an option for effective sweeping.

Lapras-Mega
Ability: Water Absorb / Shell Armor (Hydration) ----> Swift Swim
Typing: Water/Ice

Stats:

HP: 130 ----> 130
Attack: 85 ----> 85
Defense: 80 ----> 100 (+20)
Special Attack: 85 ----> 135 (+50)
Special Defense: 95----> 105 (+10)
Speed: 60 ----> 80 (+20)
Base Stat Total: 535 ----> 635
Movepool Additions: Psyshock, Calm Mind
Description: Lapras' main attraction in the games and anime is its surfing role (it even gets its own surfing sprite!) so I wanted to make its Mega Evolution to be based on it. What differentiates Mega Lapras from other Rain sweepers is its Ice STAB, allowing it to plow through usual Rain checks such as Tangrowth and Ferrothorn. It is also very bulky, allowing it to set up its own Rain if need be. Lapras has an excellent special movepool to choose from which includes Thunderbolt, Freeze-Dry, and Psychic. Psyshock and Calm Mind are options to break through Chansey.

Walrein-Mega
Ability: Thick Fat / Ice Body (Oblivious) ----> Strong Jaw
Typing: Ice/Dark

Stats:

HP: 110 ----> 110
Attack: 80 ----> 120 (+40)
Defense: 90 ----> 90
Special Attack: 95 ----> 105 (+10)
Special Defense: 90 ----> 90
Speed: 65 ----> 115 (+50)
Base Stat Total: 530 ----> 630
Movepool Additions: Psychic Fangs, Thunder Fang
Description: Walrein's tusks give it an incredible biting power. Strong Jaw gives a power boost on its physical STABs, Crunch and Ice Fang. It also gets important coverage moves such as Stomping Tantrum, Aqua Tail, Iron Head, and Psychic Fangs. It gets a massive Speed boost because we all know Ice-types really need it.

Dewgong-Mega
Ability: Thick Fat / Hydration / Ice Body --> Lightning Rod
Typing: Water/Ice

Stats:
HP: 90
Attack: 70
Defense: 80 + 40 = 120
Special Attack: 70 + 30 = 100
Special Defense: 95 + 40 = 135
Speed: 70 - 10 = 60
Base Stat Total: 475 + 100 = 575
New Moves: Defog
Competitive Analysis: Compared to most bulky waters, Dewgong kinda sucks. To rectify this, Dewgong should get a boost both defenses and special attack to do decent damage. Lightning Rod would used by his horn, and would stop a pesky weakness. Defog gives Dewgong support in an area few bulky water have.

Lapras-Mega
Ability: Water Absorb / Shell Armor / Hydration --> Refrigerate
Typing: Water/Ice

Stats:
HP: 130
Attack: 85 + 45 = 130
Defense: 80 + 15 = 95
Special Attack: 85
Special Defense: 95 + 40 = 135
Speed: 60
Base Stat Total: 535 + 100 = 635
Competitive Analysis: It's been a while since using curse on a Lapras was a legitimate strategy. It's time we change that. With a boost to its defenses, augmented by its already immense HP, Lapras becomes very tanky. Combining this with a sizable attack boost and refrigerate turns Lapras into a powerful tank. A Resttalk set will be able to contend with even the other bulky waters in OU.

Walrein-Mega
Ability: Thick Fat / Ice Body / Oblivious --> Let it go! Ice King (Ice Body+Ice-Type Water Absorb)
Typing: Ice/Water

Stats:
HP: 110
Attack: 80 + 20 = 100
Defense: 90 + 35 = 125
Special Attack: 95 + 25 = 120
Special Defense: 90 + 35 = 125
Speed: 65 - 15 = 50
Base Stat Total: 530 + 100 = 630
Movepool Additions: Slack Off, Scald
Competitive Analysis: An insane tank that thrives in Hail teams. 110/125/125 bulk along with good recovery is more than enough to get around the bad typing. Not to mention his new ability stats assists his tanking power on teams hail and against hail teams. Boosted attack stats also help.

Ability: Thick Fat
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Ice Shard / Aqua Jet
- Liquidation / Taunt
- Drill Run
- Icicle Spear

Dewgong has access to powerful Icicle Spears, with each hit having 37 base power. Technician boosted Ice Shards will do major damage, OHKO'ing a 0 HP Tornadus-Therian after Stealth Rock. 252 HP Torn-T variants have a 68.8% chance of being OHKO'd after Stealth Rock damage. If Ice-weak Pokemon are not a problem for your team, Aqua Jet holds some merit, allowing Dewgong-Mega to nail Volcarona, Blacephalon, Victini, or other frail cleaners. Liquidation offers a strong Water-STAB, but Taunt is also viable to prevent Toxapex from recovering on Drill Run, as it does not 2HKO (68.4% chance with Stealth Rock). Dewgong-Mega's speed tier makes it slower than max speed, Timid Heatran if running Adamant. Defensively, Dewgong holds little usage due to a poor defensive typing. Pivots such as Rotom-Wash and Landorus-Therian, both of which can remove hazards for Dewgong, make great partners.

New Moves: Draco Meteor, Scald

Lapras @ Laprasite
Ability: Water Absorb
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Outrage
- Waterfall / Ice Beam
- Drill Run

Lapras-Mega can run a Dragon Dance set to perform late game cleans. A +1 STAB Outrage will dent most, and Waterfall acts as a reliable Water-STAB. Ice Beam has some potential to destroy Gliscor, Landorus, and Garchomp more reliably. As a Dragon Dance user, Charizard-Mega-X and Gyarados-Mega do its job far better.

Lapras @ Laprasite
Ability: Water Absorb
EVs: 248 HP / 252 SpA / 8 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Draco Meteor
- Scald
- Ice Beam
- Hidden Power Fire / Substitute

Mega Lapras puts a stop to a lot of the tier's Defog users thanks to Competitive. Lapras-Mega acts as a bit of a tank with with an average special attack stat. The Dragon-typing allows Lapras to better handle Pokemon such as Kartana, Ferrothorn, or Zapdos and their menacing STABs.

Overall, Mega Lapras would struggle to find a niche in higher tiers, and would probably find a home in NU or RU at best. (It's pretty hard to make a viable Mega Lapras, and I did not want to go the "Just put an -ate ability" route.)

New Moves: Spikes, Slack Off

Walrein @ Walreinite
Ability: Thick Fat
EVs: 248 HP / 144 Def / 116 SpD
Careful Nature
- Slack Off
- Spikes
- Earthquake
- Toxic / Avalanche

Walrein-Mega makes for one of the best defensive Ice-types with reliable recovery and Spikes. Walrein's bulk is nearly on par with Cresselia's, and it has the offenses to not be completely passive, too. Thick Fat is a blessing of an ability that lets Walrein tank even a Modest Z-Magma Storm into Magma Storm from Heatran! Walrein sets up Spikes on a lot of the tier, including Garchomp, Tapu Koko, and even Landorus. Toxic can be used to punish Tangrowth or Rotom-Wash, while Avalanche will do direct damage to the former and will heavily damage Pokemon weak to it. A faster utility spread with 248 HP / 28 Def / 232+ Spe can be used to always outpace Heatran and below.

Pokemon: Dewgong-Mega
Ability: Adaptability
Typing: Water/Ice
Stats:
HP: 90
Attack: 70 ---> 50 (-20)
Defense: 80 ---> 90 (+10)
Special Attack: 70 ---> 110 ( +40)
Special Defense: 95 ---> 125 (+30)
Speed: 70 ---> 110 (+40)
Movepool Additions: Freeze Dry, Hydro Pump
Description: Thanks to Freeze Dry and Adaptability, Dewgong-Mega can run nothing but STAB moves. Adaptability effectively gives a 33% damage boost to every attack it's likely to use, giving it an effective 162 base Special Attack. It can break Toxapex

Pokemon: Walrein-Mega
Ability: Stamina
Typing: Ice/Water
Stats:
HP: 110
Attack: 80 ---> 90 (+10)
Defense: 90 ---> 135 (+45)
Special Attack: 95 ---> 105 ( +10)
Special Defense: 90 ---> 135 (+45)
Speed: 65 ---> 55 (-10)
Movepool Additions: Slack Off, Defog
Description: Pretty hard to make a wall out of an Ice/Water type, but damnit I'm trying. Hey, if Avalugg can see OU useage in the SPL, maybe this can get something done on the right team.

Pokemon: Walrein-Mega
Ability: Bulletproof
Typing: Water/Steel
Stats:
HP: 130
Attack: 85 ---> 115 (+30)
Defense: 80 ---> 90 (+10)
Special Attack: 85 ---> 95 ( +10)
Special Defense: 95 ---> 115 (+20)
Speed: 60 ---> 70 (+10)
Weight: 555 kg
Movepool Additions: Stealth Rock, Heavy Slam
Description: A tank of a Dragon Dance or Curse sweeper. 130 / 90 / 115 defenses on top of superb defensive Water / Steel typing with Bulletproof should let it set up multiple times; however, it will need mutliple setups due its poor Speed tier and lackluster offensive typing, and it has no reliable recovery, so it shouldn't be overpowered. It also functions as a Stealth Rock tank, thanks to some of its other nice support moves like Thunder Wave and Heal Bell.

Lapras-Mega

Type: Water • Ice
Ability: No Guard
HP • 130
Atk • 85 >> 90 (+5)
Def • 80 >> 105 (+25)
SpA • 85 >> 135 (+50)
SpD • 95 >> 105 (+10)
Spe • 60 >> 70 (+10)
BST • 535 >> 635 (+100)

Description: With No Guard, Lapras becomes an interesting status-spreading powerhouse with access to a perfectly accurate hydro pump, blizzard, zap cannon, and sing (pretty nice off of 70 speed, the same as Breloom). Its speed tier is still somewhat awkward but its 130/105/105 bulk lets it play as a bulky attacker, similar to its gen 1 status-spreading offensive tank role.

Completeting my votes soon, but at least I came up with a theme : Mothim, Throh/Sawk = clothing vs common clothes moths

Dewgong : WTCO, EyedMoon
Lapras : Scoopapa, KirbyRider1337, EyedMoon
Walrein : -Latios-, Anaconja, MegaFlareon

Can we post any mega or do we have to wait specifically for the mon to be chosen for selection, as well as what about for a mon which has already collected a mega.

Also, is it possible to simply use the workshop to create a mon and copy it into the builder? So we wouldn't have to bother anyone else and can simply play with whichever custom mega we want.(edited)

WTCO wins Dewgong, Lapras is tied between Scoopapa and Latios, and Anaconja wins Walrein. I'll break the tie on Lapras by voting Latios.

3.5 for Ludicolo and 4 for the others. All will have 2 new moves.
