Sandstorm is of course a huge boon of Regirock. It boosts its Sp. Def through the roof and let Regirock be a great support to the team through status, Stealth Rock and its new Teleport to pivot away. Heat Crash is another coverage option, especially to deter some pesky Steels though Edgequake should be enough for most purposes. It can also be a finisher through Rock Polish: while it is not the hardest hitter nor the fastest one, its bulk let it have *many* opportunities to put a dent.

Snow is arguably the worst weather but when you account for Regice great bulk, Boltbeam coverage and oh did I mention Teleport + Aurora Veil, it becomes a force to be reckoned with. Compared to other setters, Regice can't hold Light Clay for those sweets 3 more turns but can come more often thanks to its bulk and Teleport let it freely pivot to something else.

Uh, it can tank hits even under favourable weather? That's quite noticeable actually: band Barraskeweda fail to 2KO for example with Waterfall and it can obviously ruin the day of any Aurora Veil setters (sorry Regice). Mega-Registeel has lackluster offenses and may seem little more than a bulky punching bag (especially compared to its brethens) but it more than make up with a little toy called Teleport + Doom Desire, enabling it to support its team the same way Slowbro/king do. Mega-Registeel trades overall longevity (no Regenerator + HDB make a huge difference) for a slightly more power and more immediate bulk.

I really wanted to keep a theme between the three Regis and a weather-theme seems perfectly fitting, especially considering they come from the same generation as Kyogre, Groudon and Rayquaza. They all get the same bonuses to offensive (+50) and defensive (+30) stats. Finally, they get an offensive new move and Teleport which should give them a very peculiar niche as pivots.

In Samuel Taylor Coleridge's poem Kubla Khan, Coleridge recounts a dream he had that involved a "sunny pleasure-dome with caves of ice". This particular line struck me more than anything else in the poem, because the imagery of a cave of giant clear ice crystals with sunlight twinkling through them is absolutely beautiful.

Mega Regice has good stats across the board (except Attack but who cares). It's pretty strong, pretty fast, and incredibly bulky.

Registeel is probably my second least favorite Pokemon after Watchog. Every time I face this stupid lump of metal, all it does it sit there and tank hits until it dies. It doesn't deal much damage. It can't heal itself. All it does is set up rocks and die twenty turns later.

Boosts to Defense and Special Defense and the neutralization of a weakness with Heatproof make Mega Registeel even tankier than before, but with a sizable boost to Attack and the addition of Heavy Slam to its moveset in Crown Tundra, the bastard can finally stop hitting like a pool noodle and deal respectable damage.

Description: I based this mega off of law because Regice's T on pattern looked like a scale to me when I was younger. The idea behind this mega is that you use ice beam on a pokemon (let's say Clefable), and you can now switch in on their moonblast for free every time. This idea is very cool because after you trigger polar verdict, you now have to work with a pokemon that doesn't get recovery and has to run illuminate. It's a slick trade off imo, especially since Regice can't run leftovers. Theoretically, you can run rest, but without a chesto berry even rest might be difficult. All in all, similar to Mega Honchkrow (which this was based off of, shoutouts to Ausma), this pokemon becomes more of a burden after you trigger the ability, but it's super threatening with the ability. I really hope you enjoy!

Ability: Ubiquitous (This pokemon's stab moves cure all pokemon on the field from a status condition. If a status condition was cured, this pokemon sets automatically sets aqua ring. This ability cannot trigger when aqua ring is on the field).

Description: I really like pokemon that allow the other player to benefit from some of their moves, but never as much as it benefits the Registeel player. I present to you, ubiquitous. This ability technically allows Registeel to be a great switch in on status moves, as it's immune to toxic and can clear its own paralysis and burn. However, this ability also lessens the power of your own team, as a competent opponent will switch in their toxic-ed pokemon on your stab move to get it removed. Nonetheless, Registeel getting passive healing from aqua ring makes it become a pretty strong behemoth. I decided to give it surf over scald to prevent it from being able to give a burn, still allowing physical ground types to be a good check for it. Enjoy!

Having a non-HP base stat above 248 is broken. Not broken as in overpowered. I mean literally broken. Basically, the highest a raw stat can go is 654, as anything above that will overflow. In the case of the defenses, if they overflow to 0 (as in, if the raw stat is exactly 655), then the damage formula breaks and any attacks directed at them deal 2 damage (in that case it is also broken as in overpowered).

Description: I wanted to have Mega Regice be reminiscent of the new Regis; not very good at anything but clicking its stab move, but really, really good at that. Its ability is a far better tinted lens, not only making it so 4x resists don’t resist, but also (more importantly) making dual-type pokemon which have one type that is weak to ice and another that is resistant to ice become weak to Mega Regice’s ice moves.

Unlike Regieleki and Regidraco, Mega Regice has no immunities (nor, by nature of its ability, resists) to its stab. However it is also significantly weaker than them: even without considering them getting an item slot, transistor/dragon’s maw with 100 base attacking stats is effectively equal to an attacking stat of 159 (assuming 0 ev investment, 174 assuming 252 ev investment) without an ability. Eleki and Draco both also have higher base power moves to work with than Regice in Rising Voltage and Dragon Energy. Of course, Regice has real coverage moves (thunder/thunderbolt, focus blast, and flash cannon, as well as superpower, or if you're brave, focus punch, to try to break through the blobs).

Walls:
You can't break spd clefable without getting a flash cannon spd drop, a crit, or a freeze.

Summary: this mon gets a kill against offense every time it comes in, but terrible speed, worthless defensive typing (that also leaves it very hazard weak), and abysmal physical bulk makes it difficult for it to come in often, and most offensive mons can live one ice beam and threaten to ohko it back in return if they're physical. Blizzard can get ohkos, but unless you're running this mon on a hail team, blizzard is very unreliable. Against bulkier teams, this mon can't do much unless spd walls are chipped slightly, in which case it becomes rather terrifying.

Ability: Unmendable (While this pokemon is active all active pokemon cannot heal. This pokemon takes halved residual damage.)

Description: As with regice, registeel becomes far more offence-focused. Instead of slowly healing up with leftovers and protect or using rest, Mega Registeel prevents either pokemon from healing. Taking halved residual was added both to let Mega Registeel stick around a bit longer now that it cannot heal off damage and to let it make use of steel beam.

A 140 base power move coming off a 165 special attack stat is clearly very scary, especially when the defensive mon in front of you can't heal off the damage you just did, but steel is a bad offensive type and you can only click steel beam 4 times at most + any chip damage you take further decreases that number. If you want to preserve any longevity you need to use flash cannon which is still fairly weak even coming off a base 165 special attack stat. Your only coverage moves are thunder/thunderbolt and focus blast.

Summary: Mega Registeel is a bulky mon that trades hits with other offensive mons, and is able to put defensive mons in a tough spot due to it denying them healing, but the fact that its strongest stab move deals 25% to itself combined with it struggling to do enough damage to mons not weak to steel, electric, or fighting without using steel beam means it gets worn down quickly.

Tldr: click steel beam

(Note: as it currently is I think there's a high risk of this mon being too good. Against offence, its bulk is still good enough to let it trade one-for-one most of the time, and against bulkier teams it cripples at least one mon, quite possibly more. If anyone has an idea of how to nerf it while still keeping the core idea the same let me know.)

While this is indeed a thing, I don't think that it's really an issue to just add overflow clause to this pet mod (which prevents you from running a nature that increases a stat to the point where it would overflow)

Since the Legendary Titans have deep connection to each other, I decided to give them the same ability while still performing different specific roles. The ability gives them 3 additional resistances to the types they have as a trio while also making them vulnerable to the type they share a weakness to: the Fighting type.

Just watch out for Fighting-type coverage and priority.

Twin 105 attacking stats give Registeel good offensive power, allowing it to run other attacking moves other than Seismic Toss and Body Press. Can be used as a support wall or a Curse sweeper. Keep it away from Fighting-types.

For those who are unfamiliar, Freeze Clause Mod is a feature of some formats - including official ones, like the console-based games Pokémon Stadium, Colosseum, XD: Gale of Darkness and Battle Revolution, which have used for official tournaments in the past - that prevents two Pokémon from being frozen on the same team. Essentially, it's just sleep clause but for freeze, since freeze is just as debilitating a status as sleep and removes freedom in much the same way.
As per usual, this will require a 60% supermajority to pass, and it will stay open until slate 21 is voted in and it's time for me to code the next patch!

First of all, I am super excited for this slate - there aren't many Legendary or Mythical Pokémon we felt comfortable giving Megas this early on, but these three are some of my favorites, and I'm so happy we agreed as a council that they were safe picks! I haven't prepared a sub yet myself, but I think I totally will for at least one of them in the next few days!

That said, I do want to reiterate what was said in the announcement post - the fact that these are Legendary Pokémon is not a reason to go wild with powerful effects and make them as strong as possible!
If anything, it's just the opposite; these three really need to be handled carefully, because even if their base forms aren't the best in their current states, the opportunity to change their Abilities and give them new moves, in conjunction with their already-high base stat totals and relatively optimized stat distributions, makes it pretty easy for them to end up stronger than you'd expect.
I think everyone has done a good job of this so far, but I just feel the need to emphasize the point, haha. Thank you guys for understanding and cooperating!! (and I'm actually a huge fan of many of the subs so far!!)

Buuut yeah, I actually am disallowing this, sorry.
We're not doing anything with stats that's known to be impossible on cartridge - we already don't allow custom Abilities that are unrealistic, and we have other rules specifically restricting stat spreads that would be implausible and bad for optics whether they're balanced or not.
Everyone knows and respects the more conventional limit of 255 in a stat - no one would argue that a stat of 260 should be allowed even if it could be coded on Showdown, right? - but that's also just a matter of abiding to cartridge limitations. Following the more accurate cartridge limitation shouldn't be any different from that; I don't think it should be a problem to restrict this for better cartridge accuracy and realism or see any reason to accommodate extreme stat spreads that can't exist on cartridge.

That in mind, this applies to your Regice, too - I'm sorry it wasn't announced in the thread sooner, but you aaare going to have to cut that down. At least two points.

Yyyeah, no, that's not allowed.
Ice is already an exceptionally good attacking type, coveted even by non-STAB users for coverage; it hits four important types super effectively, and Regice comes with a reliable 90 BP STAB and/or a less reliable 110 BP STAB if it needs the damage.
Eliminating all resistances is not something to be taken lightly - at best, we would allow the existing Tinted Lens, an Ability normally reserved for exceptionally bad Pokémon with exceptionally bad types and exceptionally bad stats.
But the difference between Tinted Lens and Crystalline Lens is massive - this doesn't just give it pseudo-unresisted STAB but makes its STAB super effective against a ton of Pokémon it shouldn't be. A large number of dual-typed Pokémon that currently have neutralities to Ice (thanks to combinations like Fire/Flying, with one type that's weak to Ice but another that resists it) would gain weaknesses to Regice's moves, and even Pokémon like Heatran that double-resist Ice are just as affected as anything else.
While Regice is theoretically held back by its low Speed and Defense, it can still come in easily on special attackers and doesn't need to make any prediction or judgment calls at all on what will switch in to replace them; it's always 100% safe to click the same move no matter what.
It's true that it doesn't hit as hard as Regieleki and Regidrago specifically, but it also doesn't... really... have anything in common with those two at all - the point of them is that they're stuck with STABs that aren't always safe, because immunities to Electric and resistances to Dragon are on every team and it takes support to get either of them into a position to sweep. This Regice just completely eliminates the idea of defensive counterplay altogether.
Admittedly, I'm also automatically disposed to dislike something that can be described with "this mon gets a kill against offense every time it comes in," and I've complained about this exact quality as a selling point in the context of other Pokémon from Generation VIII. Is this... really something people like or want to see added to the meta? I don't mean to be rude, but it doesn't really sound engaging to play with or against this - whether it's well-balanced or effective at its job or not, it doesn't really get to do anything interesting other than damage.

Description: Shining brightly like a crystal, Mega Regice appears! Yes, the effect of its ability is very strong, but there's some caveats with it that keep it from being overwhelming, which involve its item slot. Firstly, it can't hold Light Clay, so it has to keep coming into battle to put up the veil. Compared with AlolaTales, Mega Regice doesn't need to spend a turn putting up the veil. But because AlolaTales can hold Light Clay, it actually gives its team more turns with the veil. This means Regice will need to pivot in and out to set up the Veil again, which complicates things because it also can't hold HDB, so it takes hazard damage every time it comes in. Without access to any recovery, except Rest, it simply can't come in and out a lot to refresh the Veil, which may need to happen a lot due to Defog. If Regice switches in during a turn, the veil count will still drop at the end of the turn. And Regice needs to switch back out for its teammate to come in to take advantage of it, leaving it with only 3 turns of support.

To further ensure it won't be overwhelming, I 'threw away' half of its mega stats into Atk and Spe, both of which are still too low to care about. Mega Evolving also gives it an opportunity cost, as there are lots of great megas that would want Regice's effect on their team, but they both can't coexist on it. Outside of being a veil-bot, it really does nothing outside of T-Wave hax. Its movepool is still barren with Focus Blast and Flash Cannon being its only coverage moves, so it gets walled fairly easily. And despite being defensive, it still has its awful typing for defense, which, again, limits how frequently it can enter battle.
Hi! Sorry if this is disappointing, but... we've been pretty strict about autosetting team support this strong in the past (I would consider this a similar case to some submissions we vetoed on the Discord for Ariados - more than one person wanted an autosetter of Sticky Web - and to Aurorus - many people wanted Aurora Veil-related effects that were too easily set and too consistent, and these, too, were deemed too strong as a result), and after discussing this on the Discord, I'm afraid we've decided that we reeeally don't want to allow this.
The balancing factors you listed make sense to the extent that Regice itself can't capably abuse this effect to any unreasonable extent, but the problem is that it doesn't need to - Aurora Veil is a form of team support first and foremost, and all Regice needs to do to accomplish that much is exist. Arguably, you could have a Regice whose only move was Rest to recover from hazard damage, and it would still do its job just fine and its team could realistically be under the effects of Aurora Veil for a majority of the battle.
We feel that it doesn't really matter how much is working against Regice or how strong or weak Regice is, because Regice is not the Pokémon that's meant to use it; what matters here is that Regice switching in and switching out gets its teammates three free turns of dual screens (and all it has to do is take one hit with doubled defenses), Regice replacing a fainted Pokémon and switching out gets its teammates four free turns of dual screens (and in this case it doesn't even need to take a hit).
Even the argument that it's balanced by not having pivoting access doesn't really work here, because it's still less dangerous for that teammate to come in when it has a free Veil up and pretty much strictly better for it than if Regice weren't on its team; in terms of raw damage, it's not consistently taking more from the halved damage on the switch-in and the halved damage on the boosting turn than it would be if it were just spending a turn to set up without a Veil, which is to say that it's still generally fine or even better off as it sets up and then still gets three absolutely free turns of Veil afterwards.
With all of that in mind, this one is going to have to be vetoed - sorry again if that's disappointing.

Description: I decided to be creative for this one, so I made the ability make all the steel move it uses become magnets and trap steel types. This pokemon traps in opposing steel types and can wallop them with Body Press or Earthquake. Although lots of steel types get earthquake themselves and are most likely faster then this titan. This pokemon has bullet punch for trapping in steel types better.
After discussing this on the Discord, we also feel that this is too many unrelated effects for one Ability.
Trapping Steel-types is already another Ability in itself, while preventing pivoting moves is unlike any other form of trapping and really seems like it should be the primary effect of the Ability or not there at all.
Moreover, dual-typed moves are a notoriously unintuitive mechanic, and we've discouraged taking them lightly and introducing more of them without cause in the past; in this case, it doesn't seem like something that's necessary for or used meaningfully by the submission and is only really there for flavor, so I would rather avoid that?
I would recommend just going with the already-existing Magnet Pull, personally - it's a more reliable Ability anyway, and it's much simpler than this.

It would definitely pair well with a Ghost Type so that Focus Blast isn't instead instantly clicked. It still dies to Ice Type attacks.

Description:Let's face it, Ice is a very bad defensive type so what I tried to do with regice was to focus on one move, Rock Polish so Mega Regice was made to be a good Rock Polish sweeper. It uses it's new stab combo of Ice and Fighting alongside Thunderbolt to give it near perfect coverage and after a Rock Polish it outspeeds base 120 scarfers and below after a Rock Polish. However it can struggle to beat bulker pokemon like sp.def Clef and Blissey meaning it can have a hard time vs bulky teams

Hi again! I'm here with a couple of small announcements:

It turns out that base Dragapult has just been banned from National Dex! The implications of this on M4A were previously discussed on the Discord, and it sounds like people are mostly in favor of giving back Recover and undoing the stat nerfs we already made to our Mega Dragapult for the time being, since it's not going to be playable in OU anyway and changing it from the original submission is no longer necessary.
If there are no objections to this, then I think we'll revert it to its original state just as soon as it's no longer usable!

Something I think is worth bringing up again is that we will eventually have a playable Ubers tier for Megas for All, and Mega Dragapult will be a part of it - it just hasn't begun yet.
That said, there are some key differences between our own format and the closest equivalent that already exists (National Dex AG) - M4A Ubers won't be based on AG because we don't want Rayquaza overshadowing the new Megas we introduce, and we also will most likely have a Dynamax Clause, so there's no real way to get a picture of M4A Ubers as a tier yet.
With that in mind, I feel that - once we actually introduce M4A Ubers, which will not be for a while yet - it would be best to debut it a bit in advance of the first full slate and give people a chance to get used to the format before we start trying to add to it, and I think Dragapult actually gives us a reasonably good opportunity to do that!
I would personally be in favor of starting M4A Ubers with Dragapult in its original state, but then formally retooling Mega Dragapult to tailor it specifically for Ubers, say, a week or two before we make our first full Ubers-based slate? I think we can make use of Mega Dragapult's debut and subsequent retooling process to get used to M4A Ubers as a format, and to learn what Pokémon are viable and how our new creations need to interact with them. (It's somewhat uncharted territory as far as I know, so I think it would be a bad idea to jump right into making new Ubers before it's been played at all!)

Ubers aside, though, there's also the more immediate question of whether Dragapult and Mega Dragapult should be banned from Mega Spooky Cup or not!
We'll definitely remove it from our main format right away for consistency with National Dex (at the same time that we update with the next slate), but Mega Spooky Cup will only be around for the remainder of the ongoing tour anyway, so there's no reason to force the ban on that if people are fine as it is.
I haven't personally heard anyone complain about Dragapult in this format, and it's been going on for long enough with Dragapult, so I'm willing to go either way - do people want it gone, or should it be allowed to stick around for the remaining rounds of the tour before we undo the nerfs?
I would appreciate hearing people's thoughts on this, here or in the Discord, before we come to a decision on it!
(I'm hesitant to run a regular Strawpoll because only a few M4A players are even involved in the Mega Spooky Cup tour - if there's a clear consensus among those players one way or another, we might as well just go with that! Sucker Punch is for killing pokemon that attack you but would out speed and may not take you out but would still stop your ability from activating.
I would just like to ask you to include credit to Pokémon Uranium for Rebuild (and in general, if you're knowingly taking a custom Ability directly from someone else's work, always acknowledge that)!
I'm admittedly not really sold on doing this regardless - I don't really agree with just taking an Ability entirely as a reference to an unrelated fan work, and it kind of seems like you only gave it this because Regirock's flavor is so similar to Gargryph's and not because the Ability is particularly interesting or unique on it? Even if you're working with a mechanic someone else created, I would personally encourage you to ignore the flavor they gave it and focus on making original use of the effect of the Ability, not make the entire thing a copy of theirs, flavor and all.
That second bit is more just my personal preference, though - the important thing here is just to note that this Ability (and its name and flavor) came from Uranium!

Ability: Unmendable (While this pokemon is active all active pokemon cannot heal. This pokemon takes halved residual damage.)

Description: As with regice, registeel becomes far more offence-focused. Instead of slowly healing up with leftovers and protect or using rest, Mega Registeel prevents either pokemon from healing. Taking halved residual was added both to let Mega Registeel stick around a bit longer now that it cannot heal off damage and to let it make use of steel beam.

A 140 base power move coming off a 165 special attack stat is clearly very scary, especially when the defensive mon in front of you can't heal off the damage you just did, but steel is a bad offensive type and you can only click steel beam 4 times at most + any chip damage you take further decreases that number. If you want to preserve any longevity you need to use flash cannon which is still fairly weak even coming off a base 165 special attack stat. Your only coverage moves are thunder/thunderbolt and focus blast.

Summary: Mega Registeel is a bulky mon that trades hits with other offensive mons, and is able to put defensive mons in a tough spot due to it denying them healing, but the fact that its strongest stab move deals 25% to itself combined with it struggling to do enough damage to mons not weak to steel, electric, or fighting without using steel beam means it gets worn down quickly.

Tldr: click steel beam

(Note: as it currently is I think there's a high risk of this mon being too good. Against offence, its bulk is still good enough to let it trade one-for-one most of the time, and against bulkier teams it cripples at least one mon, quite possibly more. If anyone has an idea of how to nerf it while still keeping the core idea the same let me know.)
Sorry I didn't include this in my last post (I was way too distracted by the Regice, haha - I didn't even notice this OTL), but I would... discourage doing this as well?
I mean, I think you'd definitely have to drop the Special Attack at least a little either way, but I also want to point out that this Ability already exists in the mod without having the benefit of decreasing residual damage, and I'm not really comfortable with the idea that this might just outclass one of our other Megas at filling the same role.
I know they have different types and all, and Registeel isn't necessarily going to be used exactly the same way or fit onto exactly the same teams, but this is a Steel-type (which basically automatically makes it easier to use than a Normal/Flying-type with worse bulk and no Boots) and has a ridiculously strong attack in Steel Beam with reduced recoil (Staraptor is already recoil-reliant and will probably be taking about as much from its own moves but has much less power backing them).
In addition, as important as Speed is in general, I don't think having 20 less Speed is nearly enough of a trade in the context of the role these two are trying to fill, as their usual targets are still slower than Registeel anyway.
I think this is as compelling a reason as I need to ask you to remove that part of the effect - I would either maybe give this Showdown as it is (Heal Block for both sides, no positive effect) or just drop the Heal Block effect entirely.

I'm mostly okay with this, I think! but I would like to ask you to drop Sticky Web specifically, if that's alright? Sticky Web is kind of a major role-defining move with really limited distribution, and it's really big for the few Pokémon that can have it - especially since it's mainly for Bug-types, and they really appreciate having something as rare and valuable as this. I'm less worried that it would specifically be broken on your Mega and more so that just giving this to Registeel - Mega or not - would make it outclass a lot of Pokémon that rely on this to stand out, and I would sorta feel bad doing that, especially since Registeel is already the best of these three Regis and doesn't really need that much help.

Description:
230 physical Defense mirrors Shuckle's and Mega Steelix's highest defense stat. Mega Regirock is more of a tank that can actually threaten with Body Press, especially if it's boosted by Iron Defense. Its ability allows it to make better use of its defensive nature, especially when combined with Protect and Sand Storm. Moreover, it makes sense as the Pokédex entry emphasizes its ability to repair its body when hurt.

Heat Crash is another coverage option, especially to deter some pesky Steels though Edgequake should be enough for most purposes. It can also be a finisher through Rock Polish: while it is not the hardest hitter nor the fastest one, its bulk let it have *many* opportunities to put a dent.

Description: This pokemon's dex entries state that you could submerge this pokemon in magma and it wouldn't melt so I made that into an ability. This pokemon is the ultimate counter for fire types. The only problem is if they have steel or rock coverage which most do so it isn't unbalanced. Freeze Dry is for the fact that it is so cold it would freeze water easily. Icicle Crash is because this thing is a giant icicle so it only makes sense. Hydro Pump is for countering fire types more but that can be removed if it is too strong.

Description:
Poké-Scientists know that the ice from the Ice Age makes Regice's body unaffected by magma, but they never really understood why that was so, especially since the Ice Age is long gone. Thanks to Mega Evolution, they found out that while Regice's body is extremely cold on the outside, it stores all the warm energy in its core. Combined with its gravitational force, Regice's body can maintain its solid form. Moreover, these scientists were quite surprised when they saw that when hit by a Fire move, Mega Regice would restructure its body to make it extremely hot and solid/liquid at the same time.

If you're wondering where I got this idea: In real life, scientists discovered hot ice on a planet. Through testing, they found out that, under extreme pressure and heat, ice will be actually solid and liquid (don't ask me how, all I got was that it seems to be a new state) and extremely hot.
That said, I imagine Mega Regice to be black to mirror hot ice, and blue if it's shiny.
Its access to Fire moves like Overheat and Burn Up can be explained by the fact that it stores warm energy in the inside, similar to how some planets are extremely cold on the outside, but the deeper you go into the inner, the warmer it gets. When the temperature reaches its zenith, Regice will unleash it via Overheat/Burn Up. Interestingly enough, only a Fire Pkm can actually use Burn Up because if you are no longer a Fire type, it won't affect the opposing Pkm. So, Regice can use Burn Up only if it's mega-evolved and turned into an Ice/Fire Pkm. Furthermore, Burn Up helps it to get rid off its secondary Fire type if you want.
Its immunity to hazards when it's Ice/Fire can be explained by the fact that the extreme pressure turned its body super solid.
As for its Special Defense, that's as high as Shuckle's, which makes sense if it actually wants to show its titanic Special Defense.

Snow is arguably the worst weather but when you account for Regice great bulk, Boltbeam coverage and oh did I mention Teleport + Aurora Veil, it becomes a force to be reckoned with. Compared to other setters, Regice can't hold Light Clay for those sweets 3 more turns but can come more often thanks to its bulk and Teleport let it freely pivot to something else.

In Samuel Taylor Coleridge's poem Kubla Khan, Coleridge recounts a dream he had that involved a "sunny pleasure-dome with caves of ice". This particular line struck me more than anything else in the poem, because the imagery of a cave of giant clear ice crystals with sunlight twinkling through them is absolutely beautiful.

Mega Regice has good stats across the board (except Attack but who cares). It's pretty strong, pretty fast, and incredibly bulky.

Description: I based this mega off of law because Regice's T on pattern looked like a scale to me when I was younger. The idea behind this mega is that you use ice beam on a pokemon (let's say Clefable), and you can now switch in on their moonblast for free every time. This idea is very cool because after you trigger polar verdict, you now have to work with a pokemon that doesn't get recovery and has to run illuminate. It's a slick trade off imo, especially since Regice can't run leftovers. Theoretically, you can run rest, but without a chesto berry even rest might be difficult. All in all, similar to Mega Honchkrow (which this was based off of, shoutouts to Ausma), this pokemon becomes more of a burden after you trigger the ability, but it's super threatening with the ability. MegaRegice has an Ice Type Flash Fire, giving it a bit more resistance, and Power Gem let's it fight back against the likes of a Zard-Y. Stealth Rock gives it a utility to help against those Fire Types that may otherwise feel brave enough to risk stepping into a 155 SpA Ice Beam. It would definitely pair well with a Ghost Type so that Focus Blast isn't instead instantly clicked. It still dies to Ice Type attacks.

Description:Let's face it, Ice is a very bad defensive type so what I tried to do with regice was to focus on one move, Rock Polish so Mega Regice was made to be a good Rock Polish sweeper. It uses it's new stab combo of Ice and Fighting alongside Thunderbolt to give it near perfect coverage and after a Rock Polish it outspeeds base 120 scarfers and below after a Rock Polish. However it can struggle to beat bulker pokemon like sp.def Clef and Blissey meaning it can have a hard time vs bulky teams

Description: I decided to be creative for this one so I made Registeel a steel type counter with magnet pull. This pokemon traps in opposing steel types and can wallop them with Body Press or Earthquake. Although lots of steel types get earthquake themselves and are most likely faster then this titan. This pokemon has bullet punch for some priority.

Description:
In the Trading Card Game, Registeel is often seen with moves that have sth. to do with beams. Therefore, I decided to mirror it in this mod where it could exert some offensive pressure as a tank, especially if it uses Block on a Pkm. The ability is balanced out by its rather low offensive stats and by moves like U-Turn or Volt Switch since the new Pkm that comes in isn't affected by Registeel's ability, logically.
Mega Registeel's defensive spread mirrors the spread development of my Mega Regice and Mega Regirock. Note how Mega Registeel's defensive stats are exactly 50 points lower than the highest stat of Mega Regice and Mega Regirock, just like their non Mega form.

Uh, it can tank hits even under favourable weather? That's quite noticeable actually: band Barraskeweda fail to 2KO for example with Waterfall and it can obviously ruin the day of any Aurora Veil setters (sorry Regice). Mega-Registeel has lackluster offenses and may seem little more than a bulky punching bag (especially compared to its brethens) but it more than make up with a little toy called Teleport + Doom Desire, enabling it to support its team the same way Slowbro/king do. Mega-Registeel trades overall longevity (no Regenerator + HDB make a huge difference) for a slightly more power and more immediate bulk.

Registeel is probably my second least favorite Pokemon after Watchog. Every time I face this stupid lump of metal, all it does it sit there and tank hits until it dies. It doesn't deal much damage. It can't heal itself. All it does is set up rocks and die twenty turns later.

Boosts to Defense and Special Defense and the neutralization of a weakness with Heatproof make Mega Registeel even tankier than before, but with a sizable boost to Attack and the addition of Heavy Slam to its moveset in Crown Tundra, the bastard can finally stop hitting like a pool noodle and deal respectable damage.

Description: I really like pokemon that allow the other player to benefit from some of their moves, but never as much as it benefits the Registeel player. I present to you, ubiquitous. This ability technically allows Registeel to be a great switch in on status moves, as it's immune to toxic and can clear its own paralysis and burn. However, this ability also lessens the power of your own team, as a competent opponent will switch in their toxic-ed pokemon on your stab move to get it removed. Nonetheless, Registeel getting passive healing from aqua ring makes it become a pretty strong behemoth. I decided to give it surf over scald to prevent it from being able to give a burn, still allowing physical ground types to be a good check for it. Enjoy!

Description: A setup sweeper that is immune to Toxic, Thunder Wave, AND Will-O-Wisp, making it the only Pokemon in the game (that I know of) to have this distinction. However, it's hampered by its triple weakness to Ground and its just okay speed tier, though the latter can be taken care of with Rock Polish.

Reminder on Voting Rules

For a reminder, Megas for All uses a variation on instant runoff voting, meaning that it uses a systematic process of elimination to find the submission that's supported by the most people. This system takes into account both the total number of people who voted for the submission at all and how those people ranked it in relation to any other submissions that have not been eliminated.

Your votes should consist of however many submissions you like.​
Including a submission in your post at all is "voting for it," but you can vote for as many (or as few) as you want! It doesn't have to be exactly three.​
Your votes should also be ranked from most preferred to least preferred, just like they were in the previous system.​

It's also now acceptable to self-vote in first!​
One of the benefits of the new system is that you get less extreme an advantage from this and there's not as much room for one individual to swing the results dramatically in their own favor, so we can afford to loosen up the rules in that area.​
That said, I would still ask you to include at least two other people in your vote if one of your votes is for yourself (this was already in the rules before).​

Slate 22, Freeze Clause Poll and Dragon Heaven

Based on the results of the latest poll, slate 22 will be a theme of Pokémon with two double-weaknesses, suggested by zxgzxg, with :magcargo: Mega Magcargo, :bastiodon: Mega Bastiodon and :leavanny: Mega Leavanny!

To keep the thread organized, I ask that you refrain from posting your submissions here until the submission phase begins, but remember that the
Discord is always a fantastic place to discuss ideas and get feedback on your submissions even before the slate opens!

There's also another poll in light of the results of slate 20!
As previously noted, with our winning Mega Feraligatr comes the first Pokémon with a chance of more than 10% to freeze the target from one move, with its Savage-boosted Ice Fangs coming out to nearly a 28% chance to freeze in total (or just over 26.5% accounting for the move's 95% accuracy).
With that in mind, I brought up the possibility of introducing Freeze Clause Mod to our format, partly because I feel it would help with Feraligatr and partly because it should really be there anyway, haha. It so rarely matters under normal circumstances, but when it does come up, wouldn't you pretty much always rather have it than not? The only time it's getting activated anyway is if you're facing unusually debilitating hax, haha.

For those who are unfamiliar, Freeze Clause Mod is a feature of some formats - including official ones, like the console-based games Pokémon Stadium, Colosseum, XD: Gale of Darkness and Battle Revolution, which have used for main series tournaments in the past - that prevents two Pokémon from being frozen on the same team. Essentially, it's just sleep clause but for freeze, since freeze is just as debilitating a status as sleep and removes player freedom in much the same way; I think the only reason most formats don't bother with it is because freeze is rare enough for this not to be a concern in most cases.
As per usual, this will require a 60% supermajority to pass, and it will stay open until voting for slate 21 is over!

In addition, there's an important update on Dragon Heaven, the server where Megas for All is usually playable!
At the moment, Dragon Heaven is down due to an error with Glitch.com, the site that hosts it, but there is a temporary replacement server here!
Unfortunately, a significant portion of DH's code was changed recently to implement Crown Tundra, and it appears the latest version of Megas for All is not currently compatible with the rest of the site.
I can try to work on troubleshooting this in the near future! It depends a lot on how much of it is an issue with the Crown Tundra updates themselves (and whether any other formats work right now) and how much of it is a matter of the M4A code needing to be updated to accommodate for them.
Accordingly, this might be possible to fix alongside the next slate, or it might be a while. OTL

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that the deadline for the next round of the Mega Spooky Cup also no longer applies - we can work out a new one once we're back to being playable, but I can't expect anyone to do their battles without being able to play the mod!

Update!! inkbug beat me to it and has already fixed this!! Dragon Heaven itself is still experiencing technical difficulties, and the aforementioned replacement server will be down for a few minutes at a time as other mods are being updated, but inkbug found the error already and M4A should be playable again once it's up!

Finally, I'm here with a reminder that :dragapult: regular Dragapult was recently banned from National Dex, which is the basis for Megas for All's ruleset!
As previously stated, this means that both Dragapult and Mega Dragapult will have to be banned from Megas for All as well.
This also means that Mega Dragapult's previous nerf can be undone - since its power level is no longer a concern and it isn't playable, it can be returned to the state in which it was originally submitted for the time being, which seems to be what most of the community wants! We'll work on a more deliberate retooling once we have a playable M4A Ubers tier and can see what it takes for it to work well there, but that won't be for a while yet.
Before that can happen, though, I also want to remind everyone that we're still discussing whether Dragapult should be allowed in Mega Spooky Cup!
Obviously we'll wait until after the tournament to un-nerf it regardless, haha - for Mega Spooky Cup only, should we keep Dragapult and Mega Dragapult in their current state until the end of the tournament, or should we ban them right away like the main format?
(So far, only one person has shared any thoughts on this, so we can't really come to a final answer yet, but it sounds like he would also support banning it from Mega Spooky Cup for what that's worth! Let us know if you want it to stay or if you think he's right!)
