[SET COMMENTS]
Mimikyu plays a pivotal role on Fairy teams thanks to its almost perfect coverage between its STAB moves and its unique ability in Disguise, which lets it revenge kill certain key offensive threats such as Azumarill, Victini, and Urshifu-S or freely setup Swords Dance and sweep through already weakened teams with ease. Swords Dance boosts Mimikyu's average Attack stat and, in conjunction with Disguise, allows it to act as a potent late-game wincon. Play Rough is Mimikyu's strongest attack and allows it to deal with dangerous Dragon-, Dark-, and Fighting-type threats such as Hydreigon, Urshifu-S, and Terrakion. Shadow Claw allows Mimikyu to deal with opposing Ghost-types and Psychic-types such as Blacephalon, Gengar, Tapu Lele, and Victini. Shadow Sneak further enhances Mimikyu as a formidable late-game sweeper, being able to deal with weakened threats and OHKO threats like Gengar, Blacephalon, and Latios after a Swords Dance boost, making Mimikyu a key wincon in the Psychic- and Ghost-type matchups. Maximum Speed investment along with a Jolly nature allows Mimikyu to outspeed key threats in Tapu Lele, Nidoking and Excadrill. Life Orb helps ameliorate Mimikyu's subpar Attack stat while also ensuring Shadow Sneak does considerable damage.

Klefki pairs exceptionally well with Mimikyu, as it provides dual screens support, Spikes support, and a Poison-type immunity. Spikes helps weaken foes, allowing Mimikyu to sweep late-game without much trouble, while dual screens make Mimikyu an even more reliable setup sweeper. Klefki can also provide Thunder Wave support, crippling threats that outspeed Mimikyu like Mega Aerodactyl and Mega Lopunny. Mega Diancie helps greatly in the Fire-, Flying-, and Ice-type matchups while also providing Stealth Rock support to chip down foes. Mega Diancie's Magic Bounce also blocks entry hazards such as Spike and Toxic Spikes that could easily cripple Mimikyu. Tapu Koko teams up well with Mimikyu, mostly because it deals with walls such as Skarmory, Celesteela, and Toxapex that can deal with Mimikyu without much trouble while also helping greatly in the Flying- and Water-type matchups. Tapu Bulu is able to break through Mimikyu's walls such as Hippowdon and defensive Water-types such as Toxapex and Swampert. Tapu Lele has useful wallbreaking capabilities with Choice Specs, dealing with Mimikyu's defensive checks such as Toxapex, while also aiding in the Poison matchup. Belly Drum Azumarill pairs well with Mimikyu as a secondary sweeper, mainly helping in the Steel matchup, which Mimikyu struggles in greatly. Togekiss is able to break through defensive Grass-types like Mega Venusaur and Ferrothorn for Mimikyu.

=============

An Adamant nature can be opted for over Jolly, but it comes at the cost of underspeeding some key threats, such as Tapu Lele and Excadrill.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Physical Walls**: Mimikyu is easily walled by physical walls such as Skarmory, Celesteela and Porygon2 due to its middling Attack stat, and the latter two can threaten to KO with Heavy Slam and Foul Play, respectively.

**Haze Users and Phazers**: Due to its mediocre Attack stat, Mimikyu heavily relies on Swords Dance to break through opposing teams. Therefore, Haze users such as Toxapex and phazers such as Skarmory and Hippowdon greatly disrupt it.

**Revenge Killers**: Due to Mimikyu's below-average HP and defensive stats, it can easily be dealt with by faster revenge killers such as Urshifu, Zarude, and Mega Lopunny. However, Mimikyu can deal with said threats if Disguise is intact.

**Steel-types**: Steel-types such as Celesteela and Mega Scizor are able to deal shrug off any hits from Mimikyu and revenge kill it with their strong Steel-type STAB moves, while Choice Scarf Excadrill outspeeds and OHKOes Mimikyu through Disguise thanks to Mold Breaker.

*Status**: All status conditions severely cripple Mimikyu's effectiveness as a sweeper. Burn greatly weakens it, poison puts it on a timer, and paralysis makes it easier to revenge kill.

- mention shadow sneak being a key wincondition in the psychic and ghost matchups -
- just say excadrill, non-scarf is unnecessary
- mention life orb is pretty necessary to allow sneak to do any real damage
- bulu also breaks through fat waters for mimikyu
- mention togekiss being able to break grass-types for it

[other options]
- adamant makes it a better late-game cleaner at the cost of underspeeding some threats

Mimikyu plays a pivotal role on Fairy team, thanks to almost-perfect coverage between Fairy and Ghost STAB and its unique ability in Disguise, being able to revenge kill certain key offensive threats such as Azumarill, Victini and Urshifu, or freely setup Swords Dance and continue to sweep through already weakened teams with ease. Swords Dance helps boost Mimikyu's average attack stat, in conjunction with Disguise allows it to act as a potent late game win condition. Play Rough is Mimikyu's strongest STAB option, allowing it to deal with dangerous Dragon-, Dark- and Fighting-type threats such as Hydreigon, Urshifu and Terrakion. Make sure you specify Urshifu-S, since Urshifu-R beats Mimikyu with Surging Strikes Shadow Claw allows Mimikyu to deal with opposing Ghost-types and Psychic-types such as Blacephalon, Gengar, Tapu Lele, and Victini. Shadow Sneak further enhances Mimikyu's ability to be a formidable late game sweeper, being able to deal with weakened threats and OHKO threats like Gengar, Blacephalon, and Latios after a Swords Dance boost, making it a key win condition in the Psychic- and Ghost-type matchups. Maximum Attack and Speed investment along with a Jolly nature allows Mimikyu to hit as hard as possible while outspeeding key threats in the form of Tapu Lele, Nidoking and Excadrill. Life Orb further increases Mimikyu's damage output and helps ameliorate its subpar attack stat, while also ensuring Shadow Sneak does considerable amounts of damage.

Klefki pairs exceptionally well with Mimikyu as it provides screens support, spikes support, and a Poison-type immunity. Spikes helps weaken foes, allowing Mimikyu to sweep late-game without much trouble while screens support further enhances Mimikyu's ability to act as a reliable setup sweeper. Klefki can also provide Thunder Wave support, crippling threats that outspeed Mimikyu like Mega Aerodactyl and Mega Lopunny. Mega Diancie pairs well as a strong wallbreaker i think mega diancie is more of an all-out attacker. also, mention how mega diancie being an all-out attacker helps out mimikyu i.e its rock typing helping against fire, flying, and ice-types while also providing Stealth Rock support to chip down foes. Mention that Mega Diancie's access to Magic Bounce lets it prevent crippling entry hazards like Spikes and Toxic Spikes from being set on the field Tapu Koko teams up well with Mimikyu, mostly due to its ability to deal with walls such as Skarmory, Celesteela, and Toxapex that can deal with Mimikyu without much trouble, while also helping greatly in the Flying- and Water-type matchups. On the other hand, Tapu Bulu pairs well with Mimikyu, being able to break through Mimikyu's defensive walls such as Hippowdon and defensive Water-types such as Toxapex and Swampert, against which Mimikyu struggles. Tapu Lele proves to be a useful teammate thanks to its wallbreaking capabilities with Choice Specs, while also being able to aid in the Poison matchup and dealing with Mimikyu's defensive checks such as Toxapex. Belly Drum Azumarill pairs well with Mimikyu as a secondary sweeper, mainly helping in the Steel matchup, which Mimikyu struggles in greatly. Togekiss pairs well Mimikyu as it is able to break through defensive Grass-types like Mega Venusaur and Ferrothorn.

An Adamant nature can be opted for, over Jolly, for increased power output, further enhancing its role as a late-game sweeper. However, this comes at the cost of under speeding some key threats such as Tapu Lele and Excadrill.
