- Choice Scarf Chi-Yu functions as a fast and powerful attacker that can threaten many common Restricted Pokemon with heavy damage, including both Calyrex formes, Zamazenta-C, and Lunala, while bolstering its teammates' special damage output with Beads of Ruin.
- Although Snarl is Chi-Yu's weakest move, it allows it to chip foes while shutting down many Restricted Pokemon offensively, including Miraidon and Lunala, and breaking Focus Sash, which is notably used by Flutter Mane.
- Choice Scarf allows Chi-Yu to outspeed the majority of the format, notably including Calyrex-S and Choice Scarf Urshifu-R.
- Tera Ghost allows Chi-Yu to avoid Fake Out and alleviate some of Chi-Yu's weaknesses; it particularly provides an immunity to Fighting-type attacks from Zamazenta-C and Iron Hands. Tera Fire can be used as an alternative on teams with priority-blocking measures such as Indeedee-F and Farigiraf to bolster the damage of Heat Wave and Overheat, including guaranteeing an OHKO against Brute Bonnet and Zacian-C with Heat Wave and against Flutter Mane with Overheat.

Teambuilding
=========
- Common metagame threats such as Incineroar, Urshifu-R, and Koraidon can resist its STAB moves and, in the case of the latter two, threaten to OHKO Chi-Yu. Raging Bolt and Iron Hands, due to their bulk and power, can also pressure Chi-Yu.
- Without Tera Ghost, Chi-Yu is vulnerable to Fake Out from the likes of Rillaboom and Incineroar. Opposing speed control, in the form of Tailwind and Trick Room, can cause many threats like Urshifu-R, Ogerpon-C, and Ursaluna to outspeed Chi-Yu and take advantage of its weak defenses.
- Additionally, Wide Guard users like Zamazenta-C and Lunala can take advantage of Chi-Yu locked into Snarl or Heat Wave.
- Due to its lack of bulk, priority moves can threaten Chi-Yu severely, namely Aqua Jet from Urshifu-R, Sucker Punch from Chien-Pao after Terastallizing, and Thunderclap from Raging Bolt.
- Strong partners for Chi-Yu include powerful special attackers, such as Calyrex-S and Miraidon, which can take advantage of its Beads of Ruin while threatening Urshifu-R and Koraidon.
- Koraidon also pairs very well with Chi-Yu, as not only do they form a powerful core offensively, with Chi-Yu threatening Lunala and Calyrex-S and Koraidon threatening Incineroar and Urshifu-R, but Koraidon also provides sun to bolster Chi-Yu's Fire-type attacks.
- Flutter Mane is another common partner for Chi-Yu, as it benefits from Beads of Ruin to bolster its damage output, while Flutter Mane can run Taunt to deny Wide Guard and Trick Room.
- Chi-Yu also appreciates redirection support to alleviate its frailty, commonly from Brute Bonnet and Indeedee-F, which can also provide support with Spore and Psychic Terrain, respectively.

- Choice Scarf Chi-Yu functions as a fast and powerful attacker that can threaten many common restricteds with OHKOs, including both Calyrexes, Zamazenta-C and Lunala, whilst supporting its own teammates special offense with Beads of Ruin. (You don't OHKO Lunala btw: 252+ SpA Beads of Ruin Chi-Yu Dark Pulse vs. 236 HP / 4 SpD Shadow Shield Lunala: 194-230 (80.1 - 95%) -- guaranteed 2HKO if you want to keep the Lunala mention just go with heavy damage instead of OHKO.)
- Snarl whilst being Chi-Yu's weakest move, allows for it to chip opponents whilst shutting down many restricteds offensively, including Miraidon and Terapagos. (I think Lunala is a better mention than both of these here. Also expand on how Snarl is good at breaking Sashes, mostly CSR and Flutter)
- Choice Scarf allows Chi-Yu to outspeed the majority of the format, notably outspeeding Calyrex-S and Choice Scarf Urshifu-R.
- Tera Ghost allows Chi-Yu to avoid Fake Out whilst alleviating some of Chi-Yu's weaknesses, most notably providing an immunity to Fighting-type attacks from Zamazenta-C and Urshifu-R (most Urshifu are just Surging Strikes into chi-yu, iron hands is a better mention here). Tera Fire can be used as an alternative on teams with priority blocking measures such as Indeedee-F to bolster the damage of Heat Wave and Overheat.

Teambuilding

- Common metagame threats such as Incineroar, Urshifu-R and Koraidon can resist its STABs and in the case of the latter two significantly threaten it super-effectively. Without Tera, Chi-Yu is also vulnerable to Fake Out from the likes of Rillaboom and Incineroar. Opposing speed control, in the form of Tailwind and Trick Room, can cause the opponent to outspeed Chi-Yu and take advantage of its weak defenses. Additionally Chi-Yu can be greatly hindered by its inflexibility, in particular Wide Guard users like Zamazenta-C and Lunala can take advantage of Chi-Yu's locked into Snarl or Heat Wave. Additionally cMention checks to this Pokemon/set (you can probably get in a Raging Bolt and Rain mention. You also forget to mention priority, the most noteworthy being Aqua Jet from Urshifu-R, Thunderclap from Raging Bolt, and Sucker Punch after Tera)
- Strong partners for Chi-Yu include powerful special attackers, notably Calyrex-S and Miraidon, which can take advantage of its Beads of Ruin (mention how they beat out threats to Chi-Yu (don't forget to list the threats!)). Koraidon also pairs very well with Chi-Yu, not only forming a powerful core offensively with Chi-Yu threatening Lunala and Calyrex-S, whilst Koraidon can threaten Incineroar and Urshifu-R, but Koraidon also provides Sun to bolster Chi-Yu offensively. Flutter Mane is another common partner for Chi-Yu, as it both benefits from Beads of Ruin and can slow faster enemies down with Icy Wind so Chi-Yu can threaten them (Scarf chi-yu almost never abuses the Icy Wind support from Flutter Mane. Instead, Flutter abuses its Beads or Ruins to deal lots of damage). Chi-Yu also appreciates redirection support to alleviate its frailty, commonly from Brute Bonnet and Amoonguss Indeedee-F which cover its weaknesses. (instead of just covering weaknesses I would mention how one provides Spore and the other provides Psychic Terrain to deny priority moves and Helping Hand to boost damage)

- Choice Scarf Chi-Yu functions as a fast and powerful attacker that can threaten many common restricteds with heavy damage, including both Calyrexes formes, Zamazenta-C and Lunala, while supporting its own teammates special offense Reword this to imply Chi-Yu lets its allies deal more special damage, "supporting its own teammates special offense" doesn't really convey this to me with Beads of Ruin.
- Althought Snarl is Chi-Yu's weakest move, allows for it to chip opponents whilst shutting down many restricteds offensively, including Miraidon and Lunala, whilst breaking Focus Sashes, notably of Flutter Mane.

- Common metagame threats such as Incineroar, Urshifu-R and Koraidon can resist its STABs and in the case of the latter two significantly threaten it Chi-Yu super-effectively This sounds like dex info, reword it to something like threaten to OHKO Chi-Yu. Raging Bolt and Iron Hands, due to their bulk and power, can also pressure Chi-Yu. Without Tera, Chi-Yu is also vulnerable to Fake Out from the likes of Rillaboom and Incineroar. Opposing speed control, in the form of Tailwind and Trick Room, can cause the opponent Mention which pokemon specifically now outspeed Chi-Yu with Tailwind and Trick Room instead to outspeed Chi-Yu and take advantage of its weak defenses. Additionally, Wide Guard users like Zamazenta-C and Lunala can take advantage of Chi-Yu's locked into Snarl or Heat Wave. Due to its lack of bulk, priority can threaten Chi-Yu severely, namely Aqua Jet from Urshifu-R, Sucker Punch from Chien-Pao after Tera, and Thunderclap from Raging Bolt.

Koraidon also pairs very well with Chi-Yu, not only forming a powerful core offensively with Chi-Yu threatening Lunala and Calyrex-S, and Koraidon can threaten Incineroar and Urshifu-R, but Koraidon also provides Sun to bolster Chi-Yu offensively Change this to Chi-Yu's Fire-type attacks, currently this reads like Sun increases Chi-Yu's general damage. Flutter Mane is another common partner for Chi-Yu, as it benefits from Beads of Ruin to bolster its damage output, whilst Flutter Mane can run taunt Taunt to deny Wide Guard and Trick Room. Chi-Yu also appreciates redirection support to alleviate its frailty, commonly from Brute Bonnet and Indeedee-F which can also provide support with Spore and Psychic Terrain respectively.

sheepie_sheep1 Please change all instances of "whilst" to "while". Smogon grammar standards are based off of American English. Actually, is my check implemented at all? The opening post doesn't seem like it has any changes.
