G-Luke has 3 winners, with his Set 1 and 6 mons getting first place and his Set 4 mon tying for second place.The metagame is FILLED with NOTHING but Wallbreakers man can anyone set a single hazard here? We gotta fix this.
Set 1 - Huge Power
Mandibuzz @ Mawilite
110 HP / 65 Atk / 105 Def / 55 SpA / 95 SpD / 80 Spe -> 110 HP / 85 Atk / 145 Def / 55 SpA / 135 SpD / 80 Spe
Overcoat -> Huge Power
- Foul Play
- Toxic
- Roost
- Defog
Like as I mentioned before, the metagame is swarming in explicit wallbreakers. Mandibuzz seeks to challenge that while still being a major threat. STAB Huge Power Foul Play is a nuke for 70% of the tier and Toxic nails many of the resists of Foul Play. Combo this up with being one of the only few forms of hazard removal right now and Mandibuzz comes in clutch as a primiere team tool.
Set 4 - Niche Stones
Tinkaton @ Banettite
85 HP / 75 Atk / 77 Def / 70 SpA / 105 SpD / 94 Spe -> 85 HP / 125 Atk / 87 Def / 80 SpA / 125 SpD / 104 Spe
Mold Breaker -> Prankster
- Stealth Rock
- Encore
- Gigaton Hammer
- Thunder Wave
Tinkaton is the ideal offensive Prankster. It resist Dark types so it doesn't scare when it can hit them. It has solid defensive utility with its great typing and good bulk. Prankster makes it even better. Gigaton Hammer will be a super nuke with 125 Attack behind it as well.
Set 6 - Non Mega Stones
Lugia @ Wellspring Mask
106 HP / 90 Atk / 130 Def / 90 SpA / 154 SpD / 110 Spe
Tera Type: Water
Water Absorb
- Surf
- Psychic Noise
- Whirlwind
- Recover
Lugia gains a much better Psychic/Water Defensive typing while being passively stronger thanks to Wellspring Mask. Lugia can also Tera in a pinch and become incredibly difficult for special wallbreakers to handle thanks to Embody Aspect Wellspring. Truly a potent defensive piece for the metagame.
AthenaStrive9 has 4 winners. Sets 2 and 3 got first place, and Sets 4 and 5 squeaked out second place.Set 2:

Set 3:Salazzle @ Beedrillite
68/64/60/111/60/117 -> 68/124/60/81/60/187
Ability: Oblivious -> Adaptability
- Fire Lash
- Poison Jab
- Will-O-Wisp
- Encore
Beedrillite turns Salazzle from a fast special attacker to an even faster physical attacker. This absurd speed lets them use Will-O-Wisp and Encore to cripple opponents before they can move, while the increased attack and new ability in Adaptability allows for powerful Fire Lashes and Poison Jabs to be dished out. Fire Lash is a rarely distributed move and allows for Salazzle to potentially break down bulkier opponenets, and Poison Jab can be used to fish for the poison status to further wear down walls.

Set 4:Fezandipiti @ Clefablite
88/91/82/70/125/99 -> 88/101/102/110/145/109
Ability: Toxic Chain -> Magic Bounce
Poison/Fairy -> Poison/Flying
- Sludge Bomb
- Brave Bird
- U-turn
- Roost
Clefablite gives Fezandipiti an amazing defensive typing while bolstering bulk and special attack, allowing them to become a mixed attacker. Brave Bird is the primary stab attack for damage, with Sludge Bomb being used to spread poison. U-turn allows Fezandipiti to function as a pivot, and Roost keeps them alive throughout the game. Toxic Chain can be used to snag a toxic poison prior to mega evolving, while Magic Bounce makes it so that Fezandipiti can't be crippled by moves like Taunt and Encore while also blocking entry hazards.

Set 5b:Drifblim @ Victreebelite
150/80/44/90/54/80 -> 150/100/64/125/79/80
Ability: Aftermath -> Innards Out
- Hex
- Will-O-Wisp
- Strength Sap
- Defog
The main allure of Victreebelite is Innards Out, which with Drifblim's massive HP stat means that they can take out the tier's hard hitting powerhouses in a trade. Drifblim doesn't need to rely on this only, though, as Will-O-Wisp and Strength Sap will cripple physical attackers before they can even knock out Drifblim. Hex pairs well with Will-O-Wisp as the stab attack of choice, and Defog offers the team a form of hazard removal.

Hydreigon @ Chimechite
92/105/90/125/90/98 -> 92/105/120/165/120/98
Ability: Levitate
Dark/Dragon -> Dark/Steel
- Dark Pulse
- Flash Cannon
- Fire Blast
- Nasty Plot
Swapping the dragon type for steel, Hydreigon no longer has a crippling weakness and inability to touch fairy types. Dark Pulse and Flash Cannon are the stab attacks of choice, with Fire Blast providing nice coverage. Nasty Plot lets them set up in front of walls, while being slow enough to be outsped by the tier's many fast Pokémon. Extra bulk from Chimechite makes setting up even easier.
Newcomer Yvonneon gets 2 winners this slate, with a 1st place win for Set 5 and a 2nd place win for Set 1.![]()
Set 1: Did someone say huge power birb
Skarmory @ Starminite
65/80/140/40/70/70 -> 65/105/160/70/90/75
Ability: Weak Armor -> Huge Power
- Roost
- Brave bird
- Iron head
- Drill run
The whole idea with this Set is to switch it in on a weak hit or use it as a defensive pivot to proc weak armor, then mega evolve with that added speed boost, with iron head and brave bird as a really solid duel stab with drill run to hit those pesky electric types (possibly as they come in with some prediction) and roost to heal back up after brave bird recoil or other similar chip damage.

Set 5: Rolled a Nat-20 Charisma Check For Intimidation
Landorus-Therian @ Manectite
89/145/90/105/80/91 -> 89/145/110/135/100/121
Ability: Intimidate -> Intimidate
- Stealth Rock
- Sandsear Storm
- U-Turn
- Taunt
Landorus-Therian Used to be a very scary (pun intended) Pokemon, but since then has kind of mellowed out a bit in usage while still seeing play not nearly as much as it used to, well I think that's a DAMN shame. with a standard supporting set and intimidate, I tried to make it a supportive pivot with Intimidate + Taunt/U-Turn, which can set our Lord and savior Stealth rocks in singles.
Drag0n also squeaks out 2 winners this slate, getting a second place win for set 6 and a 1st place win for set 4, both coming down to the final votes.Set 4

Hippowdon @ Steelixite
108/112/118/68/72/47 -> 108/152/148/68/102/47Ability: Sand Stream -> Sand Force
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge
- Stealth Rock
- Slack Off
With Sand Stream pre-mega, after mega evolving with the Steelixite, Hippowdon can turn from a defensive wall to a offensive beast with 152 attack and an additional 1.3x boost on all of its attacks for the duration of the sand while still maintaining great bulk.
Set 6

Kyurem-Black @ Zap Plate
125/170/100/120/90/95
Ability: Multitype
Dragon/Ice -> Electric/Ice
- Fusion Bolt
- Icicle Spear
- Substitute
- Dragon Dance
Kyurem Black is a strong mon limited due to its bad STAB moves, while it still has a mediocre ice STAB in icicle spear, it now has an amazing secondary STAB with fusion bolt boosted by zap plate and the extremely powerful bolt beam combo.
Set 2: Adaptability
![]()
Mamoswine @ Lucarionite Z
110/130/80/70/60/80 > 110/120/80/119/60/141
Oblivious > Adaptability
- Ice Beam
- Freeze-Dry
- Earthquake
- Stealth Rock
Damn, another mixed attacker. This one is fast but doesn't hit hard and can't boost its offenses.

Regigigas @ Iron Plate
110/160/110/80/110/100
Normal -> Steel
Slow Start -> Multitype
-Iron Head
-Fire Punch
-Drain Punch
-Substitute
Rusted Sword got vetoed :'(, instead we are subbing this. Giving it these 3 moves provide excellent type coverage. Iron plate turns you into Steel making an excellent typing for its high defenses.
