Latias carves itself a niche in the meta with its unique typing and natural immunity to spikes as a solid defensive answer to common threats such as Charizard Y, Ogerpon-W, and Great Tusk. Thunder Wave is vital to its role as it allows Latias to spread paralysis and cripple the aforementioned Charizard Y and Ogerpon-W as well as other offensive threats like Zamazenta, Volcarona, and Choice Scarf Urshifu-R. Ice Beam is Latias's only way of doing meaningful damage to Gliscor and hits other bulky dragons like Dragonite, Raging Bolt, and Mega Latios harder. Mystical Fire is used to hit steel types like Gholdengo, Kingambit, and Ferrothorn but Psyshock can be used instead to threaten Clodsire and Toxapex and break Volcarona's substitute.

Latias finds itself on a bulky balance teams that appreciate its ability to check Ogerpon-W and Charizard Y. Bulky Steel-types like Gholdengo and Ferrothorn make great partners since they can switch into Fairy- and Dragon- type attacks from Tapu Lele and Raging Bolt and in return Latias can switch into Ground- and Fighting- type attacks from Landorus-T and Urshifu-R. The former also appreciates Latias's ability to spread paralysis and improve its wallbreaking capabilities while the latter can set hazards to make up for Latias's passivity by racking up chip damage over time. Other hazard setters like Ting-Lu, Clefable, and Gliscor also benefit Latias. Clefable and Gliscor in particular make great partners because they can absorb status effects for Latias and appreciate having a reliable switch in to powerful Fire- and Water- type attacks from Ogerpon-W and Charizard Y while Ting-Lu can also help answer Pokemon that Latias can struggle with, like Gholdengo and Raging Bolt. Fairy- and Fighting- types like Tapu Fini, Clefable, and Zamazenta are also recommended to switch into and pressure Dark-types such as Ting-Lu, Hisuian Samurott, and Mega Tyranitar. Strong wallbreakers like Swords Dance Urshifu and the aforementioned Gholdengo also greatly appreciate Latias spreading paralysis as it makes their job much easier and in return make up for Latias's passiveness by helping break other passive walls such as Galarian Slowking and Alomomola.

Other hazard setters like Ting-Lu, Clefable, and Gliscor also benefit Latias mention how Ting-Lu answers things like Ghold for Latias since it completely flops into ghold. Clefable and Gliscor in in particular make great partners because they can absorb status effects for Latias and appreciate having a reliable switch in to powerful Fire- and Water- type attacks mentioned them here for clarity and readability. Ice Beam is Latias's only way of doing meaningful damage to Gliscor and hitting other bulky dragons like Dragonite and Raging Bolt harder. prob wanna mention mtios there asw Mystical Fire is used to hit steel types like Gholdengo, Melmetal Kingambit more relevant, and Ferrothorn but Psyshock can be used instead to threaten Clodsire and Toxapex and break Volcarona's substitute.

Latias finds itself on a bulky balance teams that appreciate its ability to check Ogerpon-W and Charizard Y. Bulky Steel-types like Gholdengo and Ferrothorn make great partners since they can switch into Fairy- and Dragon- type attacks from? and in return Latias can switch into Ground- and Fighting- type attacks again, from who?. The former also appreciates Latias's ability to spread paralysis and improve its wallbreaking capabilities while the latter can set hazards and abuse the switches that Latias can force by racking up chip damage over time i feel this is kinda a weird point since lati doesnt rly pressure much but up to you if you keep it like this. Other hazard setters like Ting-Lu, Clefable, and Gliscor also benefit Latias. Clefable and Gliscor in particular make great partners because they can absorb status effects for Latias and appreciate having a reliable switch in to powerful Fire- and Water- type attacks from who? while Ting-Lu can also help answer Pokemon that Latias can struggle with, like Gholdengo and Raging Bolt. Fairy- and Fighting- types like Tapu Fini, Clefable, and Zamazenta are also recommended to switch into and pressure Dark-types such as Ting-Lu, Kingambit Hisuian Samurott of your previous examples only zama can rly switch in on gambit, and Mega Tyranitar. Strong wallbreakers like Swords Dance Urshifu and the aforementioned Gholdengo also greatly appreciate Latias spreading paralysis as it makes their job much easier and in return make up for Latias's passiveness anything in particular it helps with?.

-you probably wanna mention somewhere how its stonewalled by a lot of stuff like gking and av mola and teammates that can help with that
- might also want to mention fairy resists and what lati can do back for them somewhere

Mega Latias carves itself a niche in the meta metagame or tier if you'd prefer with its unique semi-exclusive typing and natural immunity to Spikes allowing it to serve as a solid defensive answer to common threats such as Mega Charizard Y, Ogerpon-W, and Great Tusk. if it being able to check those things isn't due to typing + spikes immunity say something like "...semi-exclusive typing, natural immunity to spikes, and ability to defensively answer common threats such as..." Thunder Wave is vital to its role, (AC) as it allows Mega Latias to spread paralysis and cripple the aforementioned Mega Charizard Y and Ogerpon-W as well as other offensive threats like Zamazenta, Volcarona, and Choice Scarf Urshifu-R. Ice Beam is Mega Latias's only way of doing meaningful damage to Gliscor and hits other bulky dragons Dragon-types like Dragonite, Raging Bolt, and Mega Latios harder specify what it's hitting harder than, even if it's just "harder than its other options" or something. Mystical Fire is used to hit steel types Steel-types like Gholdengo, Kingambit, and Ferrothorn, (AC) but Psyshock can be used instead to threaten Clodsire and Toxapex and break Volcarona's Substitute.

Mega Latias finds itself on a bulky balance teams that appreciate its ability to check Ogerpon-W and Mega Charizard Y. Bulky Steel-types like Gholdengo and Ferrothorn make great partners, (AC) since they can switch into Fairy- and Dragon- type Dragon-type attacks from Tapu Lele and Raging Bolt, (AC) and in return, (AC) Mega Latias can switch into Ground- and Fighting- type Fighting-type attacks from Landorus-T and Urshifu-R. The former also appreciates Mega Latias's ability to spread paralysis and improve its wallbreaking capabilities, (AC) while the latter can set entry hazards to make up for Mega Latias's passivity by racking up chip damage over time. Other hazard setters like Ting-Lu, Clefable, and Gliscor also benefit Mega Latias. Clefable and Gliscor in particular make great partners because they can absorb status effects for Latias it and appreciate having a reliable switch in switch-in to powerful Fire- and Water- type Water-type attacks from Ogerpon-W and Mega Charizard Y while and Ogerpon-W. On the other hand, (AC) Ting-Lu can also help answer Pokemon that Mega Latias can struggle struggles with, like Gholdengo and Raging Bolt. Fairy- and Fighting- types Fighting-types like Tapu Fini, Clefable, and Zamazenta are also recommended to switch into and pressure Dark-types such as Ting-Lu, Hisuian Samurott, and Mega Tyranitar.
